I have been trying to get someone out to my house to fix the AC unit. They came out and didn’t fix the problem. When I called to tell the company about it they said I had to wait 24 hours in order to have someone back to my house to fix the problem.

I have small children and it is over 100 degrees. They said pretty much they can’t do anything

Terrible company. Took weeks to get a simple part for my air condition. Found the part myself from distributor. They said it would void my warranty if I ordered it and I would have to pay for it. The tech was rude and didn't want to do it.

I live in Las Vegas 110degrees. They didn't care. I have children and pets. Customer service lies and are rude. Wanted to talk to anyone in charge that could help. No one ever returned my call. They didn't the tech didn't.

Never missed my monthly payment.

My complaint is American Home Shield or the company contracted to repair my air condition unit has ever contacted me concerning repair of the unit. On July 23, 2019 I put in a request to have someone come look at my air condition unit due to the fact it wasn't cooling.

They came and put in a new capacitor and was gone in 30 minutes. I called back the next morning because it still wasn't cooling and Next Generation air sent the same people back out and the guy came to the door without me even saying anything and says "I know the fan motor went out.

Very hard to understand Rep in Call Center, necessary to keep asking to repeat. Home Choice Services CONTRACT 248801752. Reported water heater leaking 8/9/19. Home Choice called and advised closed on weekends, would be in contact 8/12/19. Repairman Thomas arrived 8/13/19 and determined water heater needed replaced. 00.

On 24 or 25 of July , S&S Appliance repair Technician was here to look at my dishwasher. He said it was his opinion be was not worth fixing but could be fixed as its tank is leaking and could cause a fire..

AHS is doing it again to me, Another situation of just poor policy and follow up.

- AHS fails to renew my contract, because of said, essentially because I am a high risk customer - My contract ended on Jun 11th. It typically renews automatically - I call on Jul 23rd and AHS advises me that I am of High risk and increase my monthly from $67 to $106 - I receive 3 charges of 106.00 on July 25th, Aug 1st and Aug 14th.

The facts are, I did not have service between Jun 11th, when my contract expired and Jul 23rd, however they said they had to back charge me for 3 months, because the contract was re-newed, although I could and did not use the service.

- Please refund my act or send a check for 212 dollars ASAP.

Unfortunately the system needed a part with todays technology why does it take 10 days to get a part this is totally unacceptable. If I could put up black stars I would! These people (ALL OF THEM) speak with a forked tongues! For 29 DAYS(July 19- August 16) I have been trying to get my AC unit replaced after 2 of THEIR contractors came out and DOA'd it!

I requested to upgrade to a 16 SEER Coastal unit for which I agreed to pay extra. At first I was told by their contractor the supplier could not get them. I called a client who works at the supplier and he told me he had them sitting in his warehouse. THE COASTAL is available. LIE NUMBER ONE!

Have two issues with vendors AHS uses to service my Ceiling fan and my A/C. Both companies failed to order parts on time or even fix the problem. Once it was found out that the part for the ceiling fan was no longer available the vendor failed to notify AHS and have the cash out department contact me to send a check for a replacement ceiling fan!

The A/C issue is much worse as my upstairs in my house has bee without A/C for over a couple months now and AHS and their "vendor" has yet to fix the darn issue!! While my family and I have to sleep in the living room on the floor and couch because there is no AC in our bedrooms upstairs!

I feel like I live in a third world country!!! AHS is the worst company ever, their customer service is farmed out to foreign countries who barley speak…

I called AHS on July 3rd. I have been waiting to no avail. Today is August 15th. I sent up my service on line. A Technician came out on the 8th of July. Worked on the 11 year old washing machine for 1 1/2 hours.

Told me It was working now. He left. I tried to run the washing machine, and it did not work, just spit out water and a code came up F51. I have called AHS numerous times and they tell me Sears (in Casa Grande, Arizona is researching the part).

Terrible company! I have spent thousands of dolllars on 5 different houses with them They double charged me for one of them, I am waiting and waiting to get refunded, they told me back in May it would be in 10-21 days.

That didn't happen, I called NUMEROUS times, was promised a call back by accounting, they NEVER did anything about the money they owe me. They also sent a service man over to fix my broken washing machine, the man checked it on his phone and said it was fine, IT STILL IS NOT WORKING!!!

My original Maytag refrigerator began having difficulty regulating its temperatures several weeks ago. The freezer would begin to defrost and then re-freeze the items inside. The left side of the freezer would also get hot then cool down. I reported this and AHS sent GM Appliances out to service it.

I was told that a few parts had to be ordered. The next rep came out to install the parts which included the rubber sealer, and the unit that has the temperature controls on it. There was another one or two parts but I forget what the were.

My 15 year old General Motors microwave stopped working about a week ago, and immediately requested service. A repair man finally came today [8/14/2019], and said it will take until next Wednesday [one week] afternoon to get service for this microwave, because GE needs to order parts. I, simply, cannot go another week without a microwave. That's unacceptable. We are not talking about a real expensive and hard to replace appliance.

A service request was placed at the end of May for AC repair and American Home Shield sent out Total Air care in Georgia. Total Air Care has gone out 7 times and still has not fixed the problem. I have tenants in that property with a child and they have patiently waited for the repair.

I have called 4 different times over a week and a half period to get my home rekeyed after moving. It has never been done, I was charged immediately, I have never once reached out to, and everyone has spoken horrible English.

1st called I was told a contractor would called me in 24hrs (lie). 2nd call assured another contractor would call in 48hrs (lied). 3rd call did not know how to solve the problem and refused to transfer me to a supervisor or customer service so put me on hold then hung up after 15min.

4th call finally got customer service rep and he said he would have a contractor contact me then hung up before I could speak. Apparently safety is not a priority and costumer service is a after thought. I will never recommend this company.

My fan stop running August 4,2019 at 10am. A contractor can out a week ago to fix a part in the furnace. The contractor came back out Monday said everything was ok but it wasn’t. The system shut down right after he left.

The worst Professional Service Warranty I have come in contact with. On June 30, 2019 my air condition went out. I explained to them that my husband was on oxygen and there was no way we could stay in the house with his illness I call AHS they sent some one out from Climate Control which was not very good. AHS did not do a recall on an unsuccessful AC work order, and instead ordered a new work order, with another company, causing me to have to pay twice for a work order that I should not have had to pay for a second time. I called in for ac service and the first company they sent didn't work on my type unit. They sent out Flowertown Heating and Air and I advised that I used them at a previous house and they were awful.

Nonetheless they sent them and it's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything even after calling and leaving a message. Called AHS and they called company and they said he would contact me tomorrow August 9, 2019. We will see, but I have 5 properties with this company and the best they can do is say I'm sorry!

First I want to say that I really appreciate HSA. I have been a customer for 8 years and have no plan on changing. My complaint is against customer service agents. It is extremely hard and FRUSTRATING to have a conversation with many of them.

Most have trouble understanding English and you can tell they are reading from a script. If you ask a question they can not even answer it. Many will repeat word for word what you have said. I am disappointed in the way that American Home shield treat/take care of there customers. My AC went out approximately 10 days ago and AHS rewarded me by having BestWay Mechanical to come and fix my AC.

First of all, they are not a professional company. 00 for freon that I don't think I needed and left without checking the unit. The AC unit never came on. I had to reschedule an appointment. The technician returned 2 days later (4 hours late)in shorts and a t-shirt saying I needed a fan motor.

Bestway scheduled me for a appointment yesterday from 12:00-4:00 and no one showed up. This will definitely be my last year using AHS. There service may be just as bad as the people that they have contracted out. AHS customer service sucks and you can hardly ever get anything accomplished.

I filed a claim and had them bill my current credit card on file for the service fee. Even though AHS collects my monthly payment from the card in file they can’t seem to collect the service fee from the same card because they continually put in the wrong billing zip code.

I have called multiple times and explained this as well as emailed AHS. I have been out on hold for this issue for almost an hour in total. All because they can’t key in the correct numbers. Not only that their representatives can barely be understood.

Is there an option for NO STARS?????????? I had been a client of AHS for over six years. I had a couple of very nice experiences with this company but more not nice than nice; and it has finally reached my boil point.

I have been given the run around from this company with a very very faulty central air system. They've fixed it seriously about 30 times, and i may be under estimating that number. It's to the point where it's being held together by spit and glue....

I really want to change the review to a 5 because of the customer service patient and understanding but I used AHS 3 times the past 8 months and every single time I have to argue, pressure, call several times in order to have CS to get someone over to do the job, winter was the first time and my wife and I spent days in the cold before we get a technician coming to the house the second time was the AC but it was OK because of the cold weather and now the AC and all I hear is.. we have no one available until Monday, I that happened yesterday (Thursday). I had a replacement dryer with your company. This is where your company starts pointing fingers.

Finally the distribution company delivered the dryer after nearly a month with no dryer. They didnt install it because they didnt bring the correct cable. They told me when I called that their driver didnt indicate that on his paper work.

I reported a problem with my air conditioner on June 28th, it's July 18th and I've been getting the run around from this company. The calls go to associates over seas who always claim they are not able to contact the companies they dispatched for service.

I called the dispatch company, they told me they submitted the authorization to the company to purchase the parts needed but received no response (2 times). AHS said they don't believe they ever submitted anything. REALLY? I have never worked with a more incompetent company in my life. My AC unit broke and I called someone on a Thursday. Someone was sent Friday and declared the unit dead. On Monday I called AHS to see if I was covered and they said they had not received the diagnostic yet.

I spoke the contractor they hired (which is a horrible company as well) and they told me someone would come out on Wednesday from 9-1pm. Then on Tuesday I called to confirm and they said they were actually coming that day.

I asked if this was to replace the unit, they said yes. On Tuesday no one showed up. I called again Wednesday and they sent someone out to DO THE SAME EXACT DIAGNOSTIC and did not replace the unit. They replaced my 80 gallon electric water heater with a 50. Their contract states under overview that they should replace with the same capacity. They say because they installed a booster its the same. Its not. The booster only adds 25% which would only add 12 and one half gallons making it the equivalent to 62 and one galf gallons not 80.

Theyt old me they no longer make 80 gallon water heaters. Not true. They have them in Lowes and Home Depot. They don't live up to their contract. My only option is to register a complaint with the BBB. I'm tired of the run around.

Hi my ahs insurance number is 258935282, I had a technician come and check out problems with my ac. He apparently found the problem but did not fix it. He says the insurance would not cover it and tried to sell me a solution he has on his truck. I feel cheated.

He says its a wire that goes from the control in the bed room to the ac thats broken. He tries to sell a wireless control which I dont want. He refused to repair the problem. Why do I have AHS if they dont fix my problem but try to cheat me after having paid a service call fee of 125 usd? I am very disappointed.

I have been a customer with American Home Shield for over 20 years honoring my monthly payments this entire time. The payments have gone up from $50 per month to $75. The service fee has also gone up considerably to $75.

My central air conditioner went out and I am 72 years old with chemically burned lungs, as well as other physical problems and just had a stroke last week when I was on the telephone with AHS and the VERY rude and highly badly reviewed service company. When I was told the company name that they were sending out I researched them and called AHS back right away and requested another company before AHS had actually assigned them.

I was advised that this was NOT POSSIBLE! AHS had already collected my $75 service fee. The company that they sent out has been rude and hateful…

The AC company you sent to fix our ac did not complete the job (INTRASTATE ENERGY CONTROLS (210) 684-9131). Our ac can only cool down up to 82 degrees F only and we have to turn on all our fans in the house to have air circulation.

We have had serious health problems last week when the ac was down ( I was hospitalized and confined for 3 days, this company came in briefly on July 11, 2019 and replaced parts in the outside ac unit but they did not fix the coil in the inside unit on the 2nd floor of the house, which according to the technician has been rusted and

there is leaking from it. The blown air is thin and we do not have the desired cooling from the ac that was supposed to have been fixed. I am hoping that AHS will take this with utmost care for us as loyal paying customers.

If I could give a negative star. I would. We have had a work order in for my A/C unit since February 14, 2019. No resolution. 5 hours on hold and being transferred around over the past 2 days.

Finally got through to someone in the escalation department and let's just say, they are trained poorly. Still no resolution and Brandon hung up on me when I asked to be transferred above him. 2 of the A/C companies that they contract with will no longer provide service because AHS does not reimburse them on time and won't allow for certain repairs.

How is it that I have been a loyal customer for a few years and this is how this ends up? Corporate greed at it's finest and poor customer service. After reading all the comments, it makes sense. I think it's time to put the money back in the pockets of…

The absolute WORST customer service!!!! Have been waiting on authorization to replace central AC unit since last week. Issue has been in authorization for 48 hours. We live in Texas which is hot as hell right now. Have talked to 10 "reps" ...

no resolution and never a call back as promised. The Escalation Dept does not answer rep call. Have asked to speak to a manager 5 times ... rep or AHS does not allow this. AHS may think this is going away but it is not

I would give this company 0 star if it let me. Please do not waste your time with them, they are scam with all of their representatives located overseas and who simply do not care about helping you. Save yourself nerves, money and time and run the opposite directions from them. American Shield Company? HA, try to find an American to speak with them.

All I heard was "Im sorry" when I tried to call multiple times and complain about our AC problem and the service we had to wait for 3 weeks during the triple digits weather. They didn't show up to their appointment, didn't call, then next dasy they sent come incompetent technician who blamed the problem on electricity when it fact it was the broken compressor.

We had to contact a different company so they can identify what was the problem.…
