I have had an open claim regarding my upstairs air conditioning unit since August 24, 2022. I have an assigned contractor, Anthem Mechanical. Anthem assessed my unit and determined that I needed a new air condenser. After waiting patiently (I didn't call askinging for updates), the unit was installed on September 19, 2022.
I paid Anthem $1,975 by check. Unfortunately, it didn't cool, so I made a call to Anthem on October 8, 2022, and they sent someone out on October 10, 2022. It was then determined that the condenser was defective, and I needed 2 coils instead of just replacing the defective unit.
AHS approved the coils, but the coils were backordered for 3 weeks, maybe a month. The other coil which is located in the attic was still needed to complete the job. AHS DID NOT APPROVE this…
