On Friday I was told that I can only request service within 48 hours. So I said fine I will call back Monday. Sent a request in yesterday. Did not receive a call today. Said I’m still in queue. Needed service for Wednesday morning and could have set this up on Friday but I was misinformed.

There is no way to talk to someone in charge. I am very unhappy with American Home shield and would like some one with some authority to call me as soon as possible please. and the website I see called hissing kitty is totally inappropriate.

I have been waiting since May for my microwave to be fixed. I was told by the service guy that parts were being ordered 10 to be exact. I have received 5 parts and told by the factory that the other parts needed are not available and to contact Ahs concerning this matter.

I have been told repeatedly that I would be contacted concerning this matter. I was told the microwave would be replaced or I would be brought out. I keep getting people I can barely understand and I feel like I am just getting the running around.

I am beyond upset and just want this matter resolved.

An service request was issued on Jue 15, 2022. Today is August 21, 2002. My air conditioning unit is still not repaired. I have called every possible number more times than I can recount and each time I reached individuals who spoke very poor English and who were completely unable to assist me - offering excuse after excuse.

Loreyn Moises, a so-called "Service Support Specialist: called a number of times offering one meaningless platitude after another.. She claimes that she is unable to get responses from the purchasing department, the parts department, or the options specialist department. Your customer service is deplorable!

I have filed an complaint with the Better Business Bureau and intend to reach out to the Virginia Corporation Commission.

Your contact center in the Phillipines needs training on Customer Service. I’ve been waiting 2 business days for a call from one of your contractors for my A/C. I’ve been calling the contractor with no luck. Your representative kept me on hold for more than 10 minutes to try to get to an escalation representative after I told her I would expect a call from her or the contractor on following up vs.

me having to call them and you all. Where did the value of servicing customers go. I myself am a VP of Operations for a contact center and would never accept putting the burden on the customer, or long hold times as these.

These is an inconvenience and extremely poor customer service not to add the additional costs by not providing a first call resolution model.

This company does not care about there Customers, however they do take your money every month. Have issues with AC the people they use for repair are below standard- schedule you then call the next day and have to reschedule you two more days out! Then you spend 45 minutes on the phone with an agent who could care less that you have an elderly person at home. Then you ask for the Corporate number and of course no one know it, then you as for anyone in Management and again there is no one.

Beware of the Agency as they give you nothing, but a hard time with no information of your repair time for the product you pay for.....

Service requests 134367348 & 135487208. On July 18, 2022 I filed a work order with AHS, the problem was our AC unit stopped working. A technician from MS Services Inc. came to our home and found the electrical circuit in the off position so she turned it back on and the AC worked for about 3 hours until the problem came back.

I called the contractor and they sent another technician who found the electrical wiring to the AC unit was starting to melt! so he cut the wires and remove the melting wires and turned the circuit back on and the AC again worked for two hours.

The next day and for the third time I called the AC contractor once again and requested a technician, the tech arrived and discovered my AC unit compressor was badly damage and because the unit was so old he would request AHS…

Washer and dryer delivered 1st week of July. Dryer had no power plug or vent hose they scheduled an appointment I informed them I was not home. I was told several times upon calling someone would contact me the day before to bring plug and vent hose so I could schedule an appointment with the tech, can't make an appointment and still don't have plug or vent hose.

Can't use dryer, just frustrated. Tired of calling.

I opened a claim for my washer last year the tech worked on it for several months and never fixed it I requested a different tech and had to pay another service charge. Another very unprofessional tech came and said the company isn't going to replace the appliances because it looks negatively on the contractor but also didn't fix my washer and dryer instead said my washer was fine and

my ducts needed to be cleaned (they were previously cleaned 1 month prior) I had him come out again after having the ducts checked and was told both appliances were fine. I contacted American Home Shields (AHS) for a refrigerator repair. I was given an appointment date on 8/13/22 for Sears repair service. I requested they send the same technician that repaired the ice maker in April 2022. They informed me the orders were automatically generated and they had no control over which vendor receives the order.

On August 13th the Sears technician moved the refrigerator from is location and was unable to put it back in it’s proper location resulting in blocking a portion of my kitchen pantry, rendering me unable to have full access to the pantry.

My AC broke down and I requested Americn Home Shield (AMS) for repair service on July 6. I must say all your reprresentatives are courteous and helpful.

However, there must be a lack of communication in contacting contractors because it took six tries before the right contractor, K & J Heating & Air, came to fix it on July 22. K & J Heating & Air charged me $540 (for adding the freon).

I called the AMS office later and found out that the service charge should be covered for the AMS customers. The representative asked me to contact K & J Heating & Air directly. I did. Unfortunately, the K & J Heating & Air people did not want to hear anything about the coverage on the AMS policy, and hang up the phone on me.

The wore company in the world, been with them almost 20 years and when I called to cancelled , the lady took my billing out of there system and now AHS saying that I owe a admistration fee and they want me to pay this. I feel that since there employee took my information out of there system and messed up the customer should not have to paid for there mistake.

I have American Homeshield Platinum Plan which covers unlimited Freon at no extra charge and you representatives in the Philippines will not honor your contract with me . My AC broke down on August 14th . I plan to cancel the plan if you don’t honor you contract .

I also have called about ten times and I can not get anyone to let me talk to an American supervisor. If this isn’t resolved I will have to hire a lawyer and contact local consumer reporters at Fox TV .

This is the absolute worst company you could ever do business with. The customer service is garbage and the services they provide are far from helpful. The vendors they select are terrible and if you happen to get a good one that knows what their doing and can diagnose the issue properly, they'll send put a second vendor to "get a second opinion" on the diagnose just to have someone do it cheaper or put a band aid on it.

My AC has been put for 3 weeks now, in Las Vegas with 110 degree weather and the vendors they send to repair it can diagnose it correctly to point where they send out to technicians to tell you they need further approval from AHS to continue. Tried to open a service request to repair my air conditioner still leaking water. Was told on the first call contractor would be called and the contractor would call me. Second call same result.

Third call was asked to call back again. Fourth call was told I had to open a new ticket and paid the $100 copay. Fifth call was told the $100 copay would be waived and contractor would contact me. Why should it take five phone calls to get this trouble taken care of.

Why does the phone number on your web site to file a complaint go directly back to customer service. Please advise in a timely fashion. T hank you.

I had work done by a company AHS set up. The work was replacing duct work under my house. The work was completed but I didn't crawl under the house to inspect the work. The work was done in Feb 2022.

As the summer season came and the AC started coming on I felt cold air coming from under the house I called the company they said I needed to go through AHS to have them come out. After talking to AHS they want to charge me 100$ again for the same thing and gonna pay the company again for the work they supposedly already did.

I don't believe this is good business practice I need the company to come out and check their work it feels like there's a piece of duct work that wasn't connected properly.

We have been waiting since May to have our HVAC unit replaced. It’s August.

The air conditioner went out and we were told it is covered and the parts would be ordered. Each week we hear how the parts should be in on Friday… Friday… Friday… Months later. The only thing we get from the representative is a script read apology, repeating of our name, and repeating of the exact same speech they gave the week before.

I own my own company with 43 employees, I have absolutely no idea how this company is still in business or doesn’t have endless lawsuits brought against them…. the incompetence and endless stream of BS actions and excuses is astounding.

AC unit was acting up. The blower would randomly stop working while the heat pump continued to run, evidently some sort of short in the motor or something like that. Called AHS they assigned a contractor from Dallas. Contractor didn't have the necessary parts. They ordered them. Then they were backordered. Then they were delayed.

Parts arrived late yesterday, showed up today around 6PM. After much too do the tech announced it was done and left, never tested our system, just left. Two hours later the temp in the house hasn't dropped a single degree even though the heat pump has been running non-stop.

On 8/2/2022 I requested service on my garbage disposal. The switch arced and tripped the GFI. They assigned Dockside Plumbing who sent a man the very next day. He arrived early and quickly determined, after putting a tool down into it and moving the cutting wheel, that there was nothing wrong with it except it had been jammed.

In fact, the switch worked twice. He left after spending less than 5 minutes at my house. Unfortunately, the very next time I operated it, the switch arced and tripped the breaker. So I called Dockside and asked for the plumber to come back.

They said I must contact AHS and if the problem is the switch, I have to specify that and they will send an electrician. In fact, AHS on-line form offers exactly that description as a symptom. So AHS sent out an electrician.…

Every time I contact American Home Shield (AHS), the offshore services that answers the phone cannot address simple English and then set up the services incorrectly. I specifically called and asked if a sink that is cracked from top to bottom and we cannot use is covered.

I said I didn't want to have to pay $125 for something they do not cover. They put me on hold came back and said yes it's covered. Then when placing the order said are you able to use the sink I said no it's cracked we can't use it.

My AC is not working. The tech indicated that its a "wear and tear" and AHS e mailed me that I would need a new coil and it will cost $3400. Its not covered because: wear and tear and "modifications". Your contract states specifically that wear and tear are covered and the tech said that he can replace the coil with the same one I have.

I would like to resolve this asap since its 95 degrees in NJ and my husband and I are elderly. I hope that I would not have to contact the BBB or the NJ attorney general or ask for consumer advocate to intervene.

My problem starts with my central AC unit becoming inoperable. The unit was displaying an error code indicating a blower motor fault. I contacted AHS, they collected my $100 fee, a technician came out and confirmed the problem as a defective blower motor.

He leaves and nothing happens until I log into their website and notice AHS has CLOSED OUT THE REPAIR! After spending hours trying to reach them, they made up an excuse for believing the repair had been done. On July 1st I called to file a claim to have my washer and dryer fixed. Sharper Appliance Repair came out to assess the problem. The technician ordered parts for both the washer and dryer and said he had to check with American Home Shield to get the ok to order the parts.

On July 13th Sharper Appliance was notified by AHS they should not order the parts for the washing machine because because AHS has closed the washing machine request and sent it to be discussed on what to do next. (There were numerous parts needed to repair the washing machine) I called numerous time to check on what AHS was doing about the washing machine.

I requested a service on my AC unit because it was not getting cold and turning off after a certain amount of time in May 2022. I have had two different companies come out to service the AC unit. The technicians from both companies have recommended replacing the unit because it's so old.

We have been getting the run around from AHS about fixing our air conditioner. They set up an appointment 2 days in a row and canceled it the very next day. It has been so hard trying to get a supervisor ti talk to or even call us back.

When we finally get someone to speak to they tell us conflicting stories. After weeks of back and forth, they won’t fix our air conditioner because of something the previous company that they sent to work on it wired something wrong.

Between AHS and allstate I have the electronic coverage contract #663286397. Allstate says I have no coverage but AHS says I do and has been active since 9/17/2021 and active til 9/17/2022. For 3 months now I have been arguing with Allstate and AHS to have my sons playstation fixed.

Oh and apparently American Home Shield are not authorized to give the Corporate number to move pass the escalation office. My recommendation for American Home Shield is more training for personnel in their escalation office.

I called ahs on July 18 about my washer not starting. Tech said washer was old and it would cost $600 to fix if he could find the part. Tech came back out Friday, 29th fixed washer. Last night, 1st of August, there was water in my floor from my washer. Called ahs between 11-11:30pm.

My AHS contract started on 7/13/2022 and my HVAC went out on 7/24/2022. I called the same day it went out and requested a emergency claim. I live in Texas and we have been dealing with 110 degree weather for about 30 plus days.

The technician that AHS sent out was unable to come until Monday 7/25/2022. The technician verified that the compressor was dead from normal wear and tear. I have been a paying customer for over 6 years at $92 per month. Only used the service 3 times for minor things and paid a $75 service fee on top of that. My water heater stopped working on Sunday, July 17th.

Submitted the request, got assigned a contractor. I called the contractor 1st thing Monday morning to make arrangements. Well, I have a Tankless Gas water heater, the contractor would not do the work due to not working with gas. only after I waited until Friday, waiting patiently for the next one.

I am so frustrated with American Home Shield. I submitted a request for am working conditioner that is not working on 7/1/22. Only to be rold I have to wait for a part indefinitely. I am in South Texas and find this completely unacceptable.

Dispatch # 13153108 On July 7,2022 I contacted AHS for my AC not cooling properly. My property is at 454 Double Eagle Trace Johns Island, SC 29455. Ian with SK Heating and Air came out and said my condenser needed replacement.

I'm a New Homeowner of less than 2 months. My AC went out in my home. The Company CMR came for the service. 00 and that because of these things my unit can't be fixed for now. 00 to replace the entire unit inside and out due to what he saw.

00 if they determined the same issues as the first contractor. To myself that's unacceptable for a RECALL. I WOULD RATHER DISCONTINUE MY SERVICES IF THIS THE WAY A NEW HOMEOWNER IS TREATED FOR PROFIT AND GAIN. THANK YOU TAMMIE D VINES

Our AC unit went out again this Summer. We made a call on July 5th to have someone come out to find the issue. The issue was a broken compressor that we had to wait nearly two months to get last September.

We are now over 3 weeks with no AC and we live in Arizona. My husband has spent several hours on the phone going back and forth between you and American Trade Masters, who is suppose to get the part and come out and replace it.

American Home Shield had ordered either the wrong part or sent to the wrong address now FOUR times. After over 3 hours on the phone AGAIN today, American Home Shield was not even able to provide us with ANY information regarding getting this resolved.

My complaint with AHS is that they are a bunch of cons. I opened an account with them as soon as I lived into my condo. My realtor recommended opening an account with AHS I did. After a year of paying my AC stopped working when they came they said the unit was no good and I needed to replace. This is their amo.

I was convinced I need a new central air unit . What they did was install an old model from 1989. Now five years later the unit is no longer working and is too old to repair. The vendor they use work together to make money off innocent people.

I needed a brand new hot water tank from the same vendor. Which is Malangone Mechanical, LLC. 203-392-0433. I will be reporting both of them to the BBB and consumer affairs.

American Home Shield does not keep their word. They have never sent a technician to do repairs that fixed the problem. They cancelled a company that was lined up to come do AC Freon leak . Myers Service in Montgomery, AL. No one notified me!!

I was still waiting for them to come. They are a crooked operation. No more payments to them ! I have paid them over 8 years on a bank draft and they only care about Moby. No thoughts about customer!

Didn’t yet repair my stove . They will not follow up or let me talk to a supervisor. They need investigating !!!

Air conditioner not working. It has been over a hundred degrees and I cannot get anybody to call me for an appointment 48 hours later. I have spent hours on calling back and I been lied to over and over.

This is supposed to be an expedited service call to no avail. With the call center being in the Philippines I cannot speak to a supervisor or anyone to help with this. I have been with this Company for 16 years and I cannot believe I am being treated like this.

I will not stop until I talk to someone higher up. I am pretty sure no one with any authority will see this or call me. Julie Edwards 316-688-0565
