Year after year I get the runaround on gas delivery. I have seriously called over 22 times for a delivery. EVERY time i get different responses, different promises and it is UTTERLY ridiculous. Where is ANY kind of customer service support or any supervisor? I could not even speak to one, most reps said none are avail. Today when I called AGAIn, (#23 time), I understand there is not even a CORPORATE address or phone number that handles complaints.

I am besides myself at HOW do I get a delivery of gas to my house? The lady, GG was her name on Thursday or Friday last week ASSURED me 100% PROMISED gave me her word that I would get my 50 gallon delivery and she did see notes on my account that I was budgeting and price was to be around $243 'ish" . I have spoken with 7 customer service representatives that from my experience appear to be located in an offshore call center. I have been a customer of the gas company purchased by Amerigas in Marshville, NC 28103 forty years, and this is by far the worse customer service personnel I have ever experienced, and I deal with many businesses. After 6 weeks from ordering, I had 3 new tanks installed on 10/10/22, as a new customer, switching from another supplier. Two tanks have no propane and one has ~10%. I called about delivery the of propane only to be told the standard delivery is 7 days, but if I want sooner there will be an additional $300 charge.

THIS IS ABSURD- AmeriGas switched me with essentially empty tanks and “standard” delivery 7 days later. THIS COMPANY HAS NO CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE and does not care if I have no ability to cook, have hot water or heat - AS A NEW CUSTOMER unless I pay the additional charge to get my FIRST DELIVERY!!!

I already regret having switched!!!! Beware if you are considering AmeriGas - the “we don’t care” propane supplier!!!

First let me start by saying i have been one of your customers for over 10 or 15 years and have never had this problem. On sept 22 2022 I ordered 200 gallons of gas and paid for it at the same time .

I was told my gas would be delivered between September 23 and September 29 when it wasn’t delivered I contacted some foreign person that I couldn’t understand but was told it would be delivered within a day or two . When it hadn’t been delivered by then I contacted customer service again and was told it would be put on emergency status and would be delivered within the next 24 hours well four days later today and

it still has not been delivered so when in the heck am I going to get my gas that i paid for on September 22 amd today is October 10 please let me know i am at 8 percent now

In January of 2022 I had propane delivered to my house. At that time I was told that something on the tank had just broke and that a technician would be here within two weeks to repair it. That was 9 months ago.

I spoke with customer service on 2/24/22 and was told that a technician would call me to let me know when they would be arriving. Never received a call from anyone. My spouse made contact in March or April and was given a date when technician would be here and on that date nobody showed up.

Two weeks ago (September 2022) my spouse again talked to someone at Amerigas's number and was given a case number, a phone number and the name "John Willsea". Was told John would call. No call! Today (10/5/2022) I called customer service again.

Have been trying to order propane from Amerigas since 10/1/2022. They originally filled my tanks in Sept. 2020 for my generator. I live in N. Ft. Myers and depend on my generator for electricity since hurricane Ian made landfall on Wednesday.

They keep telling their system needs to update my account. I have been told this by 3 different people on 3 different day, Saturday 10/1, Monday 10/3, Wednesday 10/5. They say they cannot schedule a delivery without this update. Their concern for their customers where the hurricane hit is appalling.

I ran out of gas on 10/4.

I have had a leased tank for many years but noticed it was not in good shape and needed to be replaced. I scheduled a replacement tank which was accepted. When I went to schedule a fill for a presumably empty tank I was told that I could not schedule a delivery because the installers had to ok the new tank.

When I asked to schedule delivery for the next day I was told that the “system” would not allow for that as it did not show an existing tank! Is it not logical to presume that if you are getting a new tank, you would want it filled asap?

Apparently nobody can override the “system” which means that I will be out of propane for up to a week.

Also I would like to be able to talk to the local Amerigas company which is just a few miles away and who could easily coordinate delivery, rather…

Had a gas leak which they fixed a month later. The technician found the leak it was on the tank. When I asked about them replacing my gas they only wanted to replace 25 gallons. I refused and asked to speak with supervisor.

25. She was to call me back the first thing this morning to take my payment. Her name is Dianna but she never call me back . Then I spoke with Lauren and told couldn't adjust the account. I have on phone with at least 5 different customer service people and been told so many different things.

I cannot talk to anyone over the supervisor. Was told they don't have anyone there. I would like for someone to call me from the corp office. I think you need to know how these calls center are operating.

I canceled my services With AmeriGas, they were supposed to give me a credit for the Propane that did not get used in the propane tank it was around 60% when they picked it up the driver is claiming that it was 0% I contacted customer service they submitted a ticket did not reach out to me I called back and they told me that the propane was at 0% and they are not giving me credit for anything I told him to go look at my past history and they could see that and

I use 80% of propane and a month because they delivered to me a month prior to me canceling that I own used to 20% that that driver is lying. They basically told me o well you’ll have to pay it and I said I’m not paying for propane that I did not use.

A few days ago when trying to light my grill I found that my 250 gal tank was empty. Knowing that last month the gauge was reading 50% I assumed I had to have a leak in the system. I called my local Amerigas supplier and asked if they can send someone to find the leak and they said they would.

Within an hour L received a text that they were on the way to fill my tank. I immediately called them & told them I do NOT want them to fill the tank, just find the leak. I was informed that they'd only put in ONE gallon in order to find the leak.

Within an hour or two I saw the truck pull up to my tank and hook up the gas nozzle. When he came up to the house I asked if he was ready to search for the leak. He told me every other driver had quit & he was working 12 hrs a day and had no time to look…

After 20 years of service At my property I can’t understand why a lock is on my property with no notice and no way to remove. no one will show for now 4 MISSED appointments from Amerigas and I have tenants who have been without gas for 2 weeks. This is unacceptable.

Last February Amerigas filled my propane tank and put a lock on it because it had run out. The contract with Amerigas was that they would keep the gas level up so I would not run out. This is a vacation home in an area that freezes during the winter.

They never notified me that the tank was shut off and locked. 00 worth of gas, which I paid. I called to have them remove the lock, which they did, 5 days later. 00 for unlocking the tank. It took the guy less than 5 minutes to unlock the tank and I relit the water heater myself. The furnace automatically ignites.

The tank should not have run out in the first place because of our contract. I have never called for gas, they always kept it filled. I should not have to pay for them to unlock my tank, which should have never been locked in the…

We have been calling for 6 weeks for a fill. The meter says 20%. We are getting the run around. They are telling us they filled us in March. Maybe meter is broken, either way we want someone out immediately to fill tank.

It has been 5 days since I complained of a gas leak and one of your technicians came and disconnected the gas line from the tank in my absence. Since then, despite repeated calls to Amerigas to inquire about what's going on, I have not had one contact from your company. I am staying at blaze in saddle RV Park, in tucumcari, New Mexico. The park is located directly adjacent to an abandoned AmeriGas location. The abandoned property is literally falling in, and it appears that some homeless people have set up camp in some back storage units.

From outside the security fence, you can see people walking back-and-forth, and it appears even grilling due to the smell of smoke. Route 66 is trying to clean itself up, new businesses have moved in, roads have been repaired, and your site is an absolute area of disgust.

I have been a costumer for 3 years. They let me run out of propane when I had automatic delivery in the dead of winter. They have a meter in their office to read where your propane tank is. If I could give 0 stars I would this is the worst costumer service I have EVER received!

The automatic withdrawal doesn’t work so don’t even try it. They say it does but then charge you later when they mess it up even after calling 5 different times to fix their mistakes. The staff is incompetent and they will blame their mistakes on you and make you pay ten fold for it!!

If you want a good propane service I highly recommended looking somewhere else. I couldn’t be more displeased with the complete lack of consideration or respect of their customers that pay their salary. Horrible horrible horrible.

I, my father and son have been Amerigas customers for many years. Corn drying and residential customers. The tank now for residential is located at 5355 W 400 S, North Judson, IN. , North Judson. I ordered LP on Dec 13, 2021.

The last day of proposed delivery was Dec 23. Nothing. I spoke to customer advocates many, many times. They would check on the delivery status and it was to be delivered on Monday, Dec 27. Nothing. This type of calling continued through the first week of January, 2022.

Ameris came to deliver propane to our home yesterday but when they lifted the lid on the propane can discovered it was a block of ice. The driver came to the door and said he could not hook up or read out gauge.

He also had his boss on speaker who was yelling at him to leave there was no time for this. I asked what could we do? Could I hire someone? He just saying I don’t know and then he left.

My husband and I cleared out the ice by using hot water and discovered we only have 60 gallons of propane left. We have called AmeriGas many times and cannot be guaranteed another delivery until March 8. Each to try to ask for a supervisor they put us on an automated survey.

The fact that they are responsible for people to have propane for heat and their water supply is amazing… they could care less if they forget a delivery and you’re left with the consequences. My bill was due Feb. 22. I called Feb 21st to make payment arrangement because my payday is in 25th. 00 on 25th. 00 for returned check. I talked to customer service and was told the credit union refused it. I called credit union.

They submitted my account number incorrectly. I called Anerigas again and they said it was credit unions fault. I asked if they had documentation. They did not. I was told if credit union had documentation I could summit it to some email she rattled off. I called credit union.

They are sending me documentation. 00 in dispute. 00. After nearly an hour I lost it. I was so upset I don't know what I dad but I did not pay any of it.

Your call center and customer advocate group is pathetic. I have been trying to get a propane delivery for almost a month. No one in your company knows anything about what is occurring or can give me a status update.

It has been a an awful experience with your company. Whoever came up with your call center and customer service strategy should be fired. You will loose a lot of customers in your transition to centralization. I honestly have never seen such poor execution in a company.

I have ordered propane from this company multiple times and they give me an estimated time of delivery but I never receive my propane on time. I usually have to call them daily after the delivery date has passed and I get all kinds of excuses.

I order when I am at 40% and it is usually below 20% by the time I get my delivery. Previous order was placed on December 9th and I did not get it until December 29, 2021. I placed an order on January 31, 2022 and I still do not have it and today is February 17, 2022.

I have called them 4 times since the order was placed. The weather is cold and my furnace runs constantly even though my thermostats are set at 50 degrees. I cannot order from any other service because I do not own the tank.

I have called customer service several times over the past six months. I disputed this bill and asked to be contacted by the field office. The repair done on 12/8/2020 was done in a manner that did not allow the tank cover to close. In addition, during the time when the tank was red-tagged, on two occasions Amerigas said they would be out and never showed up.

When I saw the way the repair was done in the summer of 2021 (this is an unoccupied property, used a few times a year) I called in and asked that the repair be done properly. The worst experience I've had with a company. The previous owner of my home installed an AmeriGas leased underground tank. This was in year 2000 making the tank over 20+ years old. Since it is owned by the service provider, I am under their lease program.

Moved into house in 2016 and it's been the worst customer service since. It began with back and forth exchanges asking them why they are filling my tank when it's not low and charging me. Their explanations didn't make sense.

After calling them out, I switched from auto-delivery to will-call so I had more control over deliveries and could track their fill amounts and rates. I wish I could give negtive stars, Customer service - what a joke. I had been suffering from low pressure and pressure fluctuations so called for a service appointment. No appointment could be given at that time and I was told ythat a local service department would contact me.

I called for a emergency fill delivery because I was out of propane on Tues and paid an extra 300 dollars for a delivery in 24 hrs it is 3 days later and I still haven't gotten my delivery they told me it would be delivered on the 14th what was the purpose to get a emergency delivery if it's not going to be delivered in 24 hrs. Worse company I ever dealt with took 6 weeks for first delivery then just got worse from there. My tanks were 57 years old n I reported twice I didn’t think gauges were working. Tech came out once n said he repaired them.

Based on gauges I ordered propane n order wouldn’t fit. I reported again n scheduled tech. He was no show so I called n they said he was out once n gauges were fine he’s not coming. So I ran out of propane with gauges reading 50,40 and 0 percent.

They sent out guy to check said 2 gauges were not working n my tanks are 57 years old. They did give me new tanks with a little propane. Still waiting on my delivery! Sad such an unreliable uncaring company holds it in their hands to keep a home warm.

I changed from Holston gases to Amerigas due terrible customer service. After the verbal phone agreement with your agent the terms we agreed to were not honored. Three delays for tank delivery. Once installed and safety checks confirmed the volume of fuel was 5 - 7%.

No fuel has been delivered this all appliances including heat are out of a fuel source. The only expeditious part of the process was Amerigas' ability to process $1350 payment. Looks like I should switch to NG which is closer to my house than the empty tank.

I ordered propane online on January 25th, 2022. My delivery window was January 26th - February1st, 2022. I was at just over 20% tank level on January 25th when I placed the order. I did not receive delivery on February 1st and called your customer service to inquire about when the fuel would be delivered. I was told that they would "Expedite" the delivery and that they would NOT charge me the $75.00 fee to expedite the delivery. I was also told that I would receive the delivery on February 2nd.

We discontinued service due to the fact that AmeriGas never showed up at scheduled times and overall poor customer service. It has been 2 months since we stopped service and AmeriGas still has not picked up their tank. Times have been scheduled and they simply do not show up.

Furthermore, they do not call to advise of the delay or attempt to reschedule. On top of that, late fees are being added to our bill, as we have repeatedly advised that we will pay the bill in it’s entirety once they come collect their tank.

They simply advise that there is nothing they can do, and late fees will continue to be added to the bill every month (despite the fact that their empty tank is still sitting g in my driveway after 2 months). I requested to talk with a supervisor and I was told that none were…

poor overall service. Cannot access customer service and have been given the round-around every single time. We receive e-mails stating an emergency delivery would be within 3 or again 1 day without receiving delivery. The electronic gauge set up on our tanks (2) is not reliable and send false readings such as a 53 % when the actual tank reading is 10%.

No longer original reps or local reps available. Some customer service reps are either rude or condescending and appear not to understand why we are calling or give us the round-around. Our better business bureau in NC gave a F ratting with over 2K complaints last year alone.

We are not "new" customers in that we had been customers for over 30 years with the former cie swallowed by Amerigas.

I have been with this company 20+ years and have been on the auto fill plan. AmeriGas let me run out of gas in January and said they would fill it within 48 hours. It was 10 degrees outside and this is my source of heat, cooking and drying clothes.

So now we are without heat except two space heaters and they won't even answer the phone now. It has been 4 days and I am not even on the sechdual as of last night. ok, you are behind, ok you can't get workers, BUT YOU CAN'T AT LEAST PUT ME ON THE SECHDUAL????

I live in Bluff City TN and a new auto delivery customer to Amerigas, and based on this complaint, a short term customer. Because we've had delivery issues since we signed up with Amerigas (4 months) we were very proactive in assuring our web account had the accurate tank level reading and everytime the level was way off.

Example, two and a half weeks after December's fill up (75 percent in a 150 gal. tank) our web account showed estimated level at 68 percent, we were at 35 percent. We have two new fireplace propane gas heaters and a new 50 gallon propane gas hot water heater.

We have been trying to get propane for the past week. We are on auto delivery but had to call each month. We've only had this company for 3 months. For the past week, we've called to have a delivery for our tank was getting low, 36%.

Two days ago we were put on an expedited list. No one came. Called on Saturday, and was told that we would have a delivery that day. No one came. We are now out of propane. We have been using electric space heaters.
