YOUR SERVICE SUCKS.. VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW DELIVERY. I ORDER FOR DELIVERY AT THE BEGINNING OF JANUARY AND FINALLY AFTER THE END OF THE MONTH I GOT IT. AMERIGAS IS A JOKE. I BEEN CALLING EVERY SINGLE DAY TO FIND OUT WHEN WILL I GET MY DELIVERY.

FIRST REPLY 7 DAYS, 7 DAYS CAME NOTHING. I CALLED AND CALLED AND CALLED . IF YOU CAN NOT DO THE DELIVERY ON TIME , DONT PROMISE. IF I HAVE A CHOICE TO PUT ZERO FOR RATING, I WILL.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. They took my money and did not provide service. I've been waiting for days now and as far as I know they're not going to come. They have lied to me hung up on me and ran me around for hours for nothing.

DO NOT use this company they will lie and cheat you and let you freeze in the winter in the north and cut your tank off without reason everywhere else.

If there were a zero star option, they would get it. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with these pricks that are monetarily raping their clients and have some of the worst customer service on the planet. My neighbor, elderly, is on will call.

She has called every few days since she got to 30%. When she talked to them on Wednesday, they said hers would be delivered yesterday. They AGAIN did not show. She called me crying because when she called today, they said she wasn't on their delivery list.

She is at 10%, the high today is 30 degrees and the weekend will be much of the same. What does it take to get service from these people, someone freezing to death?

Shannon, I believe you. @Amerigas because they are trying to do the sane to me. It's not bad enough that the prices have skyrocketed ( aka price gouging). I'm on will call. I made a delivery order on 1/14/22. " I call & I'm asked what my tank level is at and they don't know when the delivery will be made.

Temperatures are dropping and heat runs more, and they already know what my tank level is at and are trying to get me to have to order "emergency delivery," so that they can chargeeven more. I've lived here 4 years & have NEVER had this problem. Shame on you, Amerigas. @Amerigas

My first complaint is from my first fill up in the fall they had a promotion I think it was if you ordered 100 to 250 gal. of propane you received $50 off your order 250Lb and over you received $100 off. I ordered 250 gal. 1gal.

and sent me a bill for $50. to be fair to them after calling them and going over the situation they removed the bill from my account. Now to my complaint I have with them is this I went online and ordered a delivery my tanks were on 20% a little less than I had expected but rather than paying there $200 fee to expedite my delivery ( which I think is pretty steep almost border line extortion because they ask several times before completing my order ) I have supplemental heat which would get me by for the 7 days to get a normal delivery ( the plant is literally 10…

If I could give a zero I would cause that is what they are worth nothing. Like everyone else they bring you a tank with no gas in it and then you wait for about a week in zero degree weather and do not care.

Customer service is a joke, just puts you on hold and then gets back to you and says they can not do anything. When I called them out on it they just laughed. When you ask for a supervisor they tell you its an hour wait, I ask them I will wait and they tell me I can not connect you.

Everything out of their mouth is a lie. They do not care about you or your family. WARNING: They have class action suit against them. They will not service you whether you are a new customer or old customer. BEWARE

I ended service with your company due to extremely poor customer service. I was given the transaction number of 6711809 and told my final bill would be cancelled and the tank would be picked up. Neither happened. On Jan 102022 I spoke to "mark" and when I asked him to please confirm what I told him with the above transaction # he cut me off and sent me to the survey.

I have tried to call for 2 days and I submitted a online inquiry also which has been ignored.

I have tried and tried for over a month to get propane delivered to my house

I am down to 10% of my tank I have three baby’s in my house Ages 1 years 3 years 4 years

Amerigas has said delivery would be here 3 times, ordered propane on 20th of December, still no propane, no communication either, call center doesn't have a clue either does supervisor...equipment so bad breaking up u cant hear...unbelievable poor service...especially no communication!! On December 7,2021 AmeriGas driver from Garner, NC office filled our tank. He also disconnected the tank. This was done without any explanation and no information was left to explain this action. The Garner office does not allow any walk-in traffic. Why is this done?

The local number rings in Cleveland, Ohio and is answered by someone who can barely speak English. On my first call I waited 14 minutes and the call was still not answered. We are long time customers and do not have an outstanding bill.

Apparently, they do not value customers because their customer service stinks.

I've been calling repeatedly and waiting for a reund for overpayment since 10/28/2021 (8 weeks). NO ONE CAN ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. The last time I asked to speak to a supervisor I waited 30 minutes and then the "customer advocate" said to hold and he would transfer me.

He transferred me to a SURVEY!!!! NEED ANSWERS NOW!!!!!

I am a knew customer with Amerigas. It has been the most difficult experience I have every had in my life. It started with getting my first delivery. I contacted them when my tank dropped to 30% (advised to do so my Amerigas bc it takes 7 days to receive a delivery.) The delivery came 10 days later and they overcharged me about $100.

I set up my acct. disabling AUTO pay (which is showing DISABLED on my end of my on-line acct, but showing AUTO PAY on their end -very disconcerting!), but on my first delivery they automatically deducted the cost from my cc, over charging me about $100. When we FINALLY got that straightened out the overcharged error (after about 10 calls to their outsourced company), they refunded the overcharge, but they did not credit back to my cc, they credited it to my…

I've had the worse time with your company!!! Called 12/3 to get gas. I pad for gas. She said we will be out within 7 days. Called 12/13 NO gas. They said it was cancelled and not sure why. NOT my fault it was cancelled.

She said give us 3 days for delivery. Called 12/17 - NO GAS. REALLY!!!! He said we can take the takes to get filled. That is really safe to drive with a 100 lb cylinder in back of a truck.

Well we had to since I've been out of gas since end of November. Called customer service numbers that they cut out alot and can't hear them. I pad for gas and now have a credit. I NEED THAT Money back since I had to get my own gas and I live in a fixed income.

How can I get that money back?

Service is horrible in my area so much so I canceled my service. I have tried to get the tank picked up since 10/4/21 each time I am told someone will call with a pickup date. We had the tank moved to the edge of the property for easy pickup.

My neighbors have complained and my grass has been damaged. We are expecting a large delivery on 12/23/21 and tank is in the way. We have explained all of this to each rep with no action to date.

Amerigas has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Operators are extremely rude (Juan in N. Carolina-was the worst) and they can't even complete simple task. We ran out of propane in TX last year in February during the worst ice storm TX has ever seen.

The reason we ran out- Amerigas is suppose to check our meters and automatically fill our tank when its low. Well surprise surprise they didn't. Then it took around 15 calls to customer service and over a week to get our tank refilled.

The local company that use to fill our tanks before selling out to Amerigas was great but since Amerigas took over we have had nothing but issues. I called a month ago to have our tank refilled and even talked to a manager and it was still never filled.

Can't talk to an American speaking person in AMERICA. No local numbers to discuss payment plans. No one can tell me when my first payment is due and how much it is. Online says full amount no payment plan. Payments were suppose to be over 12 months.

We have good credit and the first one is twice the amount. Get a local number for locals to call and check their account. Horrible customer care.

I have been a customer for 15 years. Lately service has degraded notably. I called for a refill on Nov. 11th. I was told the service would be delivered in 7 days. After approximately two weeks I called again. After a few days I received a call from a service tech asking for details about the reported issue with my propane tank.

I had not reported any issue and was somewhat confused about the call. He scheduled a visit to inspect the tank on Dec. 1st even though I explained that I had only called to request a refill. After his inspection he notified me that the propane level was low, and he called in a refill request.

I was sent a snail mail about a sale as an existing customer. As long as I ordered in November I would get a discount per gallon. There was no link, no phone number, no coupon code so I called AmeriGas multiple times before my delivery.

I was eventually told it would be applied to my invoice after the delivery. After my full tank there was no discount so I called again and again and again and was told oh that's the Black Friday deal and it's only applies to new customers.

One Rep tried to tell me my discount for owning my tank was the discount. I was dropped from the call I was dumped into other queues oh so much run around. m. if they come in. I had to wait not exaggerating 5 minutes to do the customer survey at the end of my last call so they skew for good reviews.

We pay for an automatic delivery for our propane. The automatic delivery was inaccurate on Sunday morning when it said, we were at 38% full, when in fact we were 100% empty. We woke up Sunday morning to a house at 58 degrees inside. After calling, and realizing they are closed on Sunday's, we made a claim online through our account, at which point it assured us that we would have propane within one day. Great, we can make do.

Today (Monday) we logged into the account to see if there were any updates, and to our dismay, the update stated that the NEW date of delivery/service is Tuesday. We are without heat, in 30-something degree weather, and NO hot water for the last 36 hours. All the company has to say is, 'we understand,' - how easy it must be to say when you're WARM and have hot water.…

Customer service is HORRIBLE! I called in to discuss my account because although I am a WILL CALL customer I received 2 deliveries without requesting and without knowledge. The delivery driver didn't leave a receipt and also FILLED 100% a 500 gallon tank. I was unaware of this until I received a 1200.00 bill.

It took 4 attempts to get a person on the line who spoke English well enough for me to understand most of what was being said plus I was cut off once when I got someone, and after all of the calls when I wanted to answer the survey it just kept asking the one same question over and over again.

All calls are now routed to OHIO, there is no way to reach the Charlottesville office.

I had such a terrible time trying to understand what options I had for getting LP Gas into my tank….It was just crazy. I really wanted to give up and to have it pulled out.

Refuse to resolve an issue with an order. I placed an order with company to refill my tanks cause they were getting low. On Friday Oct 15 got a delivery but the guy refused to refill our tanks (note not our regular guy).

He claimed he got an electric shock. Got this same excuse last year from another driver (again not our regular guy). Paid an electrician to look and he could not find any reason for electricity to run throw tank. Regular delivery guy never has a problem.

I immediately called company and spoke to Debbie. She promised to get it rescheduled. Called Monday 10/18 and spoke to Lisa. She said they had to put in a service request cause driver said valve was faulty. She said I would get a call back.

Our service was initially with another company that Amerigas bought several years ago. Last year we went over 3 weeks without propane during the longest freeze we have had in years. We called Amerigas several days before the expected weather because we had ran out of propane.

Delay after delay, we went through the entire freeze without propane. Thankfully our house is very well insulated, while all the rest of our rural neighbors had burst pipes, we were unscathed.

However, no heat or hot water in the house, and we had to cook on a camp stove. At that time we had the refilled while we looked into better providers. Today, we had our new tank installed and filled, and the old tank set aside.

Purchased house in Rochelle,VA on August18,3021. Seller had account with AmeriGas. This account was closed on Sept. 3, 2021. Leased tank that is on-site has 74 gallons of propane that was paid for by seller. Settlement agreement transferred this propane to new owner of house.

I set up by phone an acct. with AmeriGas on Sept. 16. They set rep. To house to do safety check, lite pilot on stove and cap a line that was not in use to a fireplace. On-site rep. Confirmed tank has 74 gallons in it.

We have called and requested 3 times for a representative to call us as we want to go ahead and buy our rented tanks! All 3 times we were told that we would hear from the Acquisition Department within 8-10 days.

We have received no calls and can not get any satisfaction calling and waiting unbelievable amounts of time to be told the same thing, so very frustrating and is the main reason we wish to sever our service with them! We have been with this company for years. Problems started last year with covid. We always how they were to help seniors and veterans. We ran into hard times with money and we got behind. I called them and said we are having money problems.

I said aren't they suspense to help customers wit the bills. No they sent us to collections I never have been in collections in my life. They said it was amerigas collections and wouldn't effect our credit. I was already paying $200, 250, 250.

For over three weeks I dealt with Ameri Gas in Birmingham Alabama with the utmost dissatisfaction you could imagine possible. Trying to get propane delivered before I ran out. Probably spoke to a so called advocate on the phone no less than 12 times.

Each one being recorded for our satisfaction. I set up an account, I put a deposit down to pay prior to each delivery. Gave my address, my phone number doing everything possible to comply and help. Bottom line I ran out of propane and was without refrigerator, or hot water for two weeks.

I called for a fuel refill more than 6 weeks ago. After I followed up a few weeks later, the customer service rep stated that they filled my tank and that I have a bal for the refill. I told them no refill arrived and that they must have filled a neighbors tank in error.

They stated they will look into and get back to me. I followed up again twice since with no luck. Does anyone actually work at this company? is there any one accountable that can be talked to at Amerigas? im told Blue flame is a much more reliable and cheaper alternative.

I have a Rinnai hot water heater that the controller has started beeping. I called your company yesterday, who I have gas service with, and was told someone would be out between 12 to 4. At four we called back and was told no one put in the service request and someone would be out shortly.

I gentleman came out and turned off my gas as he wasn’t a serviceman. Now I am with out gas and cannot shower or cook. We called back this morning and was told someone would call by noon to set up a service call, I have yet to hear from them.

I have had an account with amerigas since 2003, every time I've called for gas they want to punish me financially. (Tank rental, high prices, and "will call" fee) I finally had enough. And went with one of their competitors.

When I closed the act. I told them there was aprox. 30% in the tank, and they could send me a refund. I was told they don't give refunds. I know this is not true. Two of my neighbors have received refunds when they closed their accounts.

I’m sure there is lots of fine print about the subjects of “Service Dispatch Charge Pump Out,” and “Restocking Charges,” but in 3 calls to your agents about closing my account - May 11, June 8 (for final closing), and June 23 (because no one came to pick up the disconnected tanks as promised), there was absolutely no mention of these charges. We sold our house in May 2021 and requested amerigas to read our meter for closing. I have called at least 5 times and every single time I am told there is no record of any calls. We are going into 5 months trying to settle with amerigas.

We notified AmeriGas i May 4, 2020 that we were terminating our service with them & asked that they pick up the 2 propane tanks that still had propane in them. I called them 5 times after that in 2020 to ask them to pick them up.

I started calling them on April 15, 2020 and have called them 9 times since pleading with them to pick them up. Each time I reach a call center in a different state & get apologizes & promises that there will be an expediated work order put in to pick them up.

I have been told that a manager will call me but no one ever does. I know they are short staffed & it is now vacation season but I called them last fall before we got snow & early enough this year before vacation season.

I called your company several times the 866-794-7595 so eventually I did get a hold of one person. Her name is Monica she's going to call me back the next night at 6:00 to talk to my husband this is 2 weeks ago she's never called back.

We've been trying to get a very large propane tank in our home but we seem to have issues just having the company return or calls so we're done we're going to move on to Ferrell gas company. So just let everybody know if you tried calling they don't answer don't bother move on going to another company that will at least return your phone call

I converted a property serviced by Amerigas to a long term rental. I promptly called and asked for the account in my name to be discontinued. Amerigas made 3 deliveries after that. I paid for one before I realized my error.

I agreed to pay for the second one as thought I could work it out with the tenants. Amerigas after complaints to the BBB finally contacted me and agreed to reduce the balance to $300. I have the email as proof.

When calling their customer service, I get the run around and can't get past their first level of support. The bill is now up to 487 with all the late fees. I can't get anyone to talk to me; just keep being told someone will look into it.

In the meantime its been turned over to a collections agency so now my credit rating is suffering for their mistake.

My mother was a customer from 1995 until she passed away in 2011. We have been trying to get the tank removed from our property since then. It was filled after they were told not to fill it. ) For years I have called to get them to come and remove it.

( We are still smelling the fumes). I am a senior citizen and I had to pay to have it brought out of the place it was put in 1995. It is setting in the driveway for someone to pick up.

99. Tank was on property from 12/26/19-1/20/20 when finally picked up. What a rip-off! Considering forward bill to Amerigas for tank storage fee from 12/26/19-1/20/20.

My husband and I have been loyal Amerigas customers for the almost 13 years we have lived here, enduring gas prices as high as $5.00 per gallon for the vast majority of those times until Bill Fixers helped us out, switched us to the special pricing plan (that Amerigas gouges each account incidentally for $119.00 per year), and re-negotiated the still high prices of $2.50 – almost $3.00 per gallon, while all the other propane providers that service this area were hovering around the $2.00 mark or lower.

We faithfully paid all of bills on time, never causing Amerigas a moment of concern.

In those 13 years, we were serviced by three different offices: 1. Kenbridge VA (now closed) – we received friendly and excellent service and on-time automatic deliveries for the first few years. Never a…
