I was a patient of Dr. Turkewitz at the Suffolk Va office located on Main St. My care began in January 2022 and part of my care included the purchase of Motto aligners which I had 22 trays and I completed wearing all of them as recommended.

When my final tray was completed I was given an appointment to be fitted for my retainer. The retainer was ordered and I was supposed to pick them up in October 2022 but before my appointment I received a phone call from their office canceling my appointment because Dr.

Today I went for my appointment and it wasn't in their system. I showed them the confirmation email that was sent to me, I was given zero explanation. I was turned away after waiting for MONTHS for this appointment. This is not the first time, this has happened to my wife twice now.

I am done being screwed, I am going full Karen on this. Next stop is a call to their corporate office, if I am not satisfied which I am sure I won't be, the next stop is Better Business Bureau.

I am also tempted to file a small claims case for lost wages and mileage for an appointment THEY LOST!

My son and I scheduled new patient appointments at Aspen Dental 5 months ago. We arrived to our appointments early on 12/8/2022 . All intake documentation was completed. We were in the waiting area for approximately one hour when I was called to the front desk and was told the dentist on site was not in my insurance network.

I emphasized to the lady at the check-in desk that five months ago when the appointment was scheduled, I was told they had a provider in-network for my insurance (FEP Blue). ” No one ever contacted me to share this information.

I have been in pain for over three weeks have been seen by 2 different dentist at aspen in Spartanburg sc and have called several times because my mouth still isn’t better and no one has called me back since Thursday December 8th. I have had to miss work for the past couple weeks and I’m self employed and i have paid over 200 dollars and still in pain I need this fixed and

On 12/07/2022. While in a luncheon meeting I am up speaking and one of the teeth of my lower plate comes flying out onto the table! Needless to say it was very embarrassing situation! I leave and go to Your Glen Burnie site where I ask to see office manager.

After a short wait I saw him and ask what they were going to do about this. He looked me up on the computer I suppose to see if I were an actual client. He didn't even know I still had a temporary plate.

Mind you I am paid in full, so he proceeds to tell me how I would need to come in and go through the process to get fitted for my permanent denture,which by the way is overdue not once was I notified for an appointment. My daughter (college student) went to Aspen Dental and was told her total out of pocket payment after insurance coverage and an electric toothbrush was added into the bill. She was not asked if she wanted it and she did not request it…they just put it on her bill.

She told them she did not want it and requested her money back. This is extremely dishonest to do this to patients! Don’t automatically charge for something that the patient never requested! No wonder Aspen has a one star rating…. Shady business practices.

I am so very disappointed with the service/work I received in 2020. Account Number #12695382 I felt pressured every time I went there to decide and sign up for treatment and a payment plan. This was during covid and choices were limited to where you could go, especially without a dental plan.

Things I felt pressured doing and regret greatly: 1. Given an electric toothbrush under the guise it was being given, no mention that is would be at my cost – I should have been given a choice 2. Went in for one toothache to remove the tooth, had 5 teeth removed and ‘temporary partials’ made 3.

Well. Upper teeth are to small. I was born with less teeth. They decided to put all the teeth in so they all look like baby teeth.

Also harder to bite and chew. Lowers are to bulky and bigger than uppers. Have a hard sleer. I personally would tell people to stay away from Aspen. They don't want to hear what you are saying! I don't think that they really care.

Had a refund comming back to me. So Aspen put it on my credit account ( witch is paid off) 3 months and still haven't received any of refund. Just done!

I have been going to the Aspen Dental Office on Talmadge road in Toledo Ohio for over a year. I sat down from the beginning and talked to the Office person about what I wanted and what I could afford, after an hour I agreed on the service that we talked about got all my paperwork and left.

Before that I was checked over by the Dentist who recommended partials on the bottom instead of full dentures. Went back and had top teeth pulled and received immediate dentures. Went in on an emergency basis due to a broken tooth. My regular dentist had not opened due to COVID. They took x-rays, and confirmed I had to have the remainder of the tooth pulled and suggested a bridge install.

Additionally I was informed of the need of a crown and 4 fillings. I was quite surprised with this, but I had not had a dental visit after the onset of COVID. Talked to Ms. Melissa Woodson, the Treatment Plan Coordinator who said I had such a wonderful dental plan (Physicians mutual) that we could get started immediately, and there would be no out-of-pocket cost to me.

I seem to have had a similar experience to others. Volume oriented care. Very minimal time with the doc. Took payment for total services upfront. When the problems arose, the dentist was unprofessional and told the office manager to “not spend too much time on this”.

The office manager was trying to resolve the situation when she was cut off by the doc. In hindsight, googling the reviews and lawsuits, all very similar situations. Not a good fit for my family. Will never go to another Aspen Dental nor recommend.

I called Mid October and scheduled an appointment at Aspen Dental and they were able to schedule me for an appointment on 11/9. When I got there for the appointment the person behind the desk was instantly irate and said they no one scheduled during that time slot and I shouldn’t be there and I had to pull up my email and find the confirmation email they sent.

I went to Aspen dental in 2021. I paid them over $30,000 and signed a contract. To get implants and teeth made Aspen dental got paid I gave them a $5000 check and the rest I financed through a lender.

My husband is the one who is paying it so he signed it his name is Alan Marrero. Now I’m coming to the end to do impressions and have my teeth made but here is the problem. I called Berlin office. I also have a tooth ache on bottom lower tooth in a lot of pain. I was told they cannot see me until November 7th. I know everyone knows what a tooth ache feels like. I ask to speak with a Mgr she said there is nothing she can do.

I got replacement dentures from Aspen Dental in Athens TN. They made me some without a wax try in. On the top, the last four teeth are set in toward my tongue. It effects the way I speak and eat.

The bottom one is so small it looks like I have no teeth there, my lip is sunken in. There is barely any sides to them . Waiting to see if they are willing to make them satisfactory

Went to aspen dental for upper denture. They came up with treatment plan for over 9 thousand dollars. Told them I only wanted upper denture I was not having any issues with my bottom partial. Set up appointment for tooth removal.

Have had numerous times where appointments are screwed up. Not to mention we had 5 different dentist on 5 appointments one dentist basically said no time to fill cavities we need to just pull the teeth. Then after we get all this straight with now a regular full Time dentist.

I am a patient of ASPEN DENTAL in Lisbon, Ct. I recently had my teeth cleaned and was instructed to use PARADONTAX after flossing, brushing every night. I noticed that my teeth were a little discolored. I called the Lisbon office on October 8, 2022 (they were closed).

I left a detailed message. Since I did not receive a phone call, I called your management, spoke with a MANAGER who told me the Lisbon office would call. I explained that I probably would not be home. She said that they would call and leave a message.

I went in today for an adjustment on my upper implant instead I was told by the office manager that I still owe them $5000 for what the insurance didn't pay a year ago. I refused to pay it and how would they have done the work without payment from the insurance????

I was told by other lady that worked there last year that everything was paid in full and didn't owe them any more. I would like for my account to show paid in full. I will not pay other penny to them.

In October, 2019, Aspen in Casa Grande, AZ. put a crown on my front tooth, #9. The temporary crown fell off 4 times. I was concerned the permanent crown would fall off but was assured the glue used for that was extra strong, and that would not happen.

The permanent crown has fallen off 4 times, and I was told the post was too short to hold the crown due to my bite. This should have been adjusted when the crown was put in. This would be at the fault of Aspen.

I now have a temporary partial which Aspen credited me $1,000 which was the cost,of the crown. I feel the cost of anything to do with this should be covered by Aspen, including the permanent partial. In addition, #10 was bothering me.

Aspen took x Ray's and said nothing was wrong with the tooth but referred me to an oral surgeon.…

I recently had a procedure done at the lagrange office. The dentist allowed the office mgn. to assist, she obviously had no training. The dentist should have sent me to an oral surgeon, I lay crying in the chair ,(she said she couldn't numb area, I felt everything) the dentist is screaming at the office mgn, the dentist is throwing hand tools on stand, stopping often to open/close drawers/cabinets.

I bled for 4 hrs and have been in pain for a week. I now have 3 large open holes in my gum because she didn't put in any sutures. I would never have allowed such a painful, horrible procedure had I know the truth.

Please get a second opinion before allowing anything to be done in that office.

I have never seen such incompetence in my 83 years. The impressions they made apparently confused the computers because nothing they made fit. They made two so called permanent dentures didn’t fit and looked terrible. It’s hard to believe that I’m paying four thousand dollars for such shoddy workmanship.

I should have checked on why they weren’t listed with the Better Business Bureau!

I purchased a lower denture from Aspen Dental November 2020. And before the 1 year warranty a tooth fell out while I was eating. They lied and told me the warranty had past and I had to pay. When I produced the receipt they had to cancel the charge.

October 2022 while in the hospital 2 front teeth fell out. I returned to Aspen Dental and they charged me $238 to repair the denture. I am now paranoid about eating out and losing my front teeth. The representative for Aspen Dental was very cold in dealing with me on this matter and never said I’m sorry. I was livid.

Went to my 6 month check up and cleaning. Front desk said it would be 130 each for my wife and me. Insurance has always covered this and I have the same insurance I've been using there for years. Front desk said they have a new hygienist that does some kind of treatment that the insurance wouldn't cover and that they wouldn't take it off.

Can the hygienist do and charge what ever they want to make more money? They would not do the cleaning unless I paid what the hygienist wanted so I left. I don't see how you can keep patients like this.

I have done a lot of thinking about this. I got my new dentures on 6/20/22. I have been there several times and I still having problems with them. I don't want to complain but I don't know what to do.

I am just not satisfy. I can't wear my bottom teeth with no satisfaction. They hurt. I paid $850 for them. If I knew this I wouldn't have replace them.

The office in Hialeah just sent me a statement of account that is completely wrong. 70. 70 I went to your offices looking for permanent dentures. I also needed an extraction and they recommended a cleaning. 70 but only the extraction was done.

May 17 they collected $500 to do the cleaning the cleaning and measurements of the dentures. A week later (May 24), another prepayment of $622. They had the temporal dentures done, all wrong. I had to come back the next day because it was hurting my tongue tremendously (I have email communications), it had no bite on it and it was ugly.

I saw your adds on tv and had a personal referral to Aspen Dental, wish I had gone somewhere else to get work done. sold off my tools and my rv to get the money to pay for this in advance, not sure that was a good idea, but I don't like monthly bills.
