Have AT&T account went into AT&T store wanted to migrate from a regular plan to a prepaid plan. I was told I couldn’t keep my number migration was impossible and it would be better to do it on the phone that they were a sales store.

On January 27, 2023, at approximately 11:30AM, I entered the ATT Corporate Store located at 4405 SW College Rd, Ocala, Fl. My reason for going to the store was to change my postpaid service to prepaid. I had already talked to ATT folks on the phone and was advised I couldn’t do it online or by phone that it could only be done in a corporate store.

After entering the store a man who identified himself as the manager approached me and asked if he could help me. I advised him I was an ATT postpaid customer and that I wanted to switch over to a prepaid service plan due to I felt it would better accommodate my needs. I received terrible customer service from Tim Godlove at the Cape Girardeau Missouri location. Once he realized that I was not interested in purchasing a new phone he became borderline rude and attempted to change my mind regarding the service that I requested multiple times.

I found out later that he had tried to rush my port transfer and then canceled it, resulting in me being without service temporarily and possibly losing the number that I previously had. I am very unhappy with the "service" that Mr. Godlove provided.

I went to store on transportation blvd in Garfield Hts Ohio the guy that worked in store was lazy did not want look my account did not want upgraded phone and then told I had to give him $10 in cash to reset my own phone. The customer service representative could barely speak clearly to be understood, had to guess on responses to her questions.

Could not answer my one question without repeating the same statement for each question. Could not answer the cost of my upgrade.

My accounts been changed so now I no longer have hot spot but must pay for it.

Don’t even know where to start with this company. The simplest of things I would think has become a nightmare with them. All I want to do is combine my internet and cell phone into one bill and make it autopay.

For 3 months it has been nothing but grief. I swore years ago after they F’d up DirectTV I would have nothing to do with this company again but circumstances after moving put me back into this headache with ATT. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I had a issue of being charged for a phone that was returned . I had proof and tracking numbers I had to talk to 17 people in 3 different departments, 5 hours later to get it straighten out. A number of totally incompetent Employees that I had to teach how to transfer a phone call.

Only the 18th person had a clue and got it straighten out. I have been with AT&T over 30 years to be treated like this is inexcusable

The fraud I wish to report is tied to the ATT billing department. On December 19, 2022, I spoke with representatives in the ATT Loyalty Department. This department corrected a long improper billing to me for internet service I have not had for 10 months.

I am only a landline customer and discontinued ATT internet service in March 2022, yet they continued to bill me for internet service. As of today, I have received 2 recorded messages threatening to disconnect my phone service. Again, I do not have internet service.

This erroneous billing has been going on for 10 months. I have been an ATT customer for 17 years and this is what’s so sad about it. Please contact the Loyalty department to verify this charge. I have been speaking with an attorney.

On Sunday January 15th 2023, I called the AT&T store in Litchfield, IL to make a purchase of an Iphone 14 Pro Max 1024GB phone. The phone rang and was not picked up initially so the call went to a call center.

There I spoke with Erica (direct line 281-962-0617). Everything went well and the purchase was made smoothly. The taxes paid at this time were $68. Monday, the 16th, I noticed that the tracking information showed the Iphone 14 Pro Max 128GB phone was ordered instead of the 1024 gb.

All I'm waiting for was customer service for a lose AT&T communication line to be fixed. I placed a call for service, but these AT&T folks place me on hold for over 1 Hour 20 Minutes and never connected me with any technician.

I waited on telephone hold mode but did not receive any assistance or call back tonight: Sat. January 14th, 2023 around 5 PM. This is a call requesting service at my home in Pasadena. This is regarding a lose AT&T line in my backyard that needs to be replaced and fixed immediately.

For the past several weeks, calls cut out for seconds at a time during a conversation or the call just drops. This is happening with every single phone call whether I initiate the call or receive it from someone else.

Additionally, a similar thing happens during streaming of movies. The movie stops and I have to reload it to continue. Over the course of my service with AT&T this has happened frequently.

We have been w/ATT for YEARS....paying the same amount w/really no problems. As of October we were suddenly charged 4x the amount we regularly have always paid. We were informed that our account had a contract change - yet we were never informed, contacted or aware of. After 2 month of back and forth we got the account updated, credits were issued and I was told to that our bill should be no more than the estimated amount they gave me. This concerns AT&T as well as Direct TV. What a fiasco. In 2019, we bundled services. Direct TV could not provide their service, so they were cancelled. We were initially billed for early cancellation as well as other fees. 46 was sent to collections, without our knowledge.

We never received a notice. We were informed somewhere along the way that the dispute had been resolved in our favor and apparently the collection was recalled by AT&T. On 01/09/2023, we attempted to add another line to out ATT account. 46 with Direct TV.

Over the next five days, we were in contact with no fewer than fourteen (14) customer service representatives and three supervisors with both AT&T as well as Direct TV. No one had an answer and each referred us to the other for resolution to the issue.

My Uverse service has been down for 3 days. I was On a zoom call on Tuesday, click, call gone. All I want is to have my copper cable repaired, been told by a “supervisor” that you don’t repair copper cable anymore.

That is BS, do not try to force me cut over to fiber. I am a retired AT&T computer tech. You cannot tell me that you do not repair copper cabling. My service went out like someone flipped a switch..

I went to the store in Zachary La. today around 4:15 to have some things done to cellphones for my husband and dad. We walk in and there is no one at the door as there usually is so we just stood a little while no one came so my dad walked over to the counter where some associates were hanging out and talking.

I’d definitely give a negative number. I called to keep my internet price the same as I was told to do last year without threatening to cancel my subscription. So I call get transferred 3 times and am told okay, to keep my discounts ‘combine your accounts’ and gives me an Internet address when I try to do that, it says I can’t and recommends I call.

I call and am transferred 9 times and have been on the phone a total of two hours. I also was disconnected once without a call back as they say. My cell account is under my husbands name and my internet account is under my name.

My husband is here to do the transfer easily. Now I wonder if this is a scam to keep me frustrated and unhappy so I don’t get the discount on my internet account! What a scam. I’m filing a claim with the BBB yet again…

Our relationship with AT&T went poorly right from the start. I was assured that our home location was in a strong signal area, but it was not. I asked for a loaner phone so that I could see the signal level at my home, but AT&T said no can do.

On 5 January, we lost our telephone land line. It started out with static on the line to no dial tone at all. After 62 minutes on hold, I was speaking with a live person. I explained our problem and he said the soonest a person could come out to troubleshoot was 17 January 2023.

He provided a Ticket number of NL1KQ505. I asked if the technician could come any sooner. He said that it was not possible. My wife and I discussed the situation and decided to call ATT again and see if anything could be done to improve the date.

We are both in our late seventies and not in the best of health and we rely on our normally reliable land line extensively. I tried to ATT Customer Service three more times and was on hold for a total of over 137 minutes.

We contacted ATT by chat to try and resolve a online upgrade on our wireless phones and were treated very unprofessionally by two of your reps. They attempted to place an unauthorized order by attempting to get us to confirm some information which we did not do. When we refused to confirm the information they disconnected themselves from the chat. Not only was this unprofessional but misleading and an attempt to push through an unauthorized transaction. I would like to share my most recent experience with this AT&T store, which was so unsatisfactory, frustrating, and embarrassing. Today (Wednesday, December 28th) I went to this store (located at 436 US-27 N Clermont, FL 34714) and I had the worst occurrence ever. When you do a phone upgrade they put an installment plan on your bill. They put the monthly payment for each installment on the bill then they put a credit for the phone you traded in on the bill. The problem is that the payment always is on the bill but the credit sometimes is not.

Nobody checks on this except the customer who then has to spend hours on the phone trying to get it fixed. This has happened several times to me. I have had to spend literally hours on the phone getting this issue resolved.

When I contacted them this time I asked if there was some way to pay these off so I wouldn’t have to keep dealing with this issue they said I could pay off the phones for the remaining balances without the benefit of the trade in credits. So if I wait the 10 months remaining on the…

Back in early May, 2022 my sister and I had one of those so called Integrated Solutions Consultant come over the house to sign us up for wireless service. We ended up signing up and trading our old Samsung's S8's for two new S22's.

The representative suggested we wait a couple of days before turning in our old phones so that we can transfer everything over to the new phones. On May 4th she came over the house and picked up the two phones, as of today, Dec 28th we are yet to see any credit for the traded phones, the worst part is that there is no record of phones ever been turned in by the rep.
