I was at the Beacon Hill Canadian Tire store this afternoon and needed help in paint department. I pressed the HELP button on the counter which triggers the phone to ring loudly. That phone rang between 30 and 40 times and no one showed up to help. I left the store.

Purchased a buffer and paid cash. It didnt work properly. When i tried to return it with the receipt within the appropriate time, they would not give me a cash refund and would only give me a store credit. Their reason was it has been used.

I told them I had to use it to know it wasn't working properly. The amount was $180.

we were at our place in Beaverton June 30. I called store in oOillia was told had 2 wheel - wheel barrel by man who ans phone, (45 min each way). gave us box of parts and barrel drove back to Beaverton.

cant put together (no handles) called/drove back fri.. gave handles.. again tried ( handles did not match barrel, barrel did not match parts in box or handles) drove back again spoke to different person said man who served us was buggy man and should not have been serving or answering phones ..

3 drives of 45 min plus gas each time and we were finely given the one we should have gotten in the first place the man wanted to charge the difference. The management took no responsibility for the bad service and lack of information that its employees were giving. 7700-4000-57100-1417146

I do NOT have a complaint - except that I couldn't find a site to write POSITIVE reviews. On Saturday I needed help with my weed- wacker - spark plug and wrench. I went to the automotive dept. to cross check for spark plugs - NO HELP what so ever.

Then went to another clerk -PAUL LARAMIE - who stuck by me for about a half hour - cross checking spark plugs and utilities and even got me a spark plug wrench. He was extremely helpful - as he ALWAYS is.

He knows the stock and is more than willing to help and trouble shoot. Paul is an example of what a clerk should be - friendly, kind and helpful ---and PATIENT. Thank you Paul!

minappot cking I bought a youth 24 inch bike red and black girls and would like to have it.

First of all I called canadian tire that I won't be picking the bike right away for I lived in sturgeon falls and I don't have a car. So finally I got a ride on Saturday and when I got there customer service told me my bike had a defect.

Thats bull for I was told they put it all together. Never mentioned anything with any problems. Please get me another bike same one. It was very dissappointing. I really hope I can get the same bike for I already had paid it in full.

When I talked to someone on the phone they told me to take my time. So since I wasn't feeling good at all. Bad cold with bronchitis mixed in. Well I will leave this in your hands and hope I don't have to take this through lawyers.…

bought a garage in a box and paid for that and installation in cash . No one contacted me when the contractor was coming to install it and left the garage in a box outside my door in the elements which I paid to have delivered since I did not have room to store it.

The contractor just texted me which is not what I wanted since I look after a bedridden mother and don't always have my cell on, but they never phoned my land line which is the main number I wanted them to contact. I bought the shelter on June 9/22 waited a week and phoned for installation since the shelter was safe at the store waiting for the contractor to pick it up to install.

I have called 1-855-682-4663 to get things rebooked because the contractor left after he texted that he thought no one was home and left the shelter…

No complaint for me but I was at a store in Winnipeg, Manitoba and a customers car was smoking. Thank god someone saw it. They gave him 1 fire extinguisher but it wasn't enough. He came back into the store asking for another on and asking for help.

The employee or supervisor said stop yelling at us we helped. She said it was the mall's responsibility not their's. He was trying to put the fire out with a bottle of water. Thank god the fire department showed up. That is disgraceful behavior.

No community spirit to help. This will be going all the way to the top. It will be posted everywhere. What kind of people do you hire. This was at grant park. DISGRACEFUL

So I went to the Surrey (Whalley) Canadian tire store in BC back near the beginning of November 2021. Approximately. I had come back from a hunting trip in the Caribou, and had a flat tire. I asked them if they could fix the tire, and they said no there was damage to the sidewall of the tire, & it would have to be Replaced. Fair enough.

Being as my tires were running a little low on tread, I asked them to replace all four tires with the same tires today had on my vehicle, as they were the originals from when I purchased the vehicle and lasted well over five years. So they proceeded to replace my tires, took the spare tire off put it back up into the spare tire spot in my pick up truck, and everything was all good.

They did an awesome job and I was very happy……. Fast forward approximately…

Order 0000000825929 I am writing with frustration and sadness at the treatment my 80 year old mother has received from your company. A shed was bought in good faith, payment was given for its installation - the shed leaks and has ruined her equipment and the installation was shoddy. A report was made- someone came out and admitted that it was badly erected and that CT were at fault. CT tells us it is the installation company - subcontracted by you are at fault. But in the middle of this is an old lady who is anxious and distressed because of the damage and the lost cost. we have phoned and contacted your company for now 2 months and no-one is responding or taking responsibility. I hit a curb and my tire was damaged. I went to the nearest place which was Steinbach Canadian Tire. They said they couldn't help me. No one there could change a tire for me. I could buy a tire but I couldn't get it put on.

I was sitting in their lot and had to call CAA for help because no one there could change a tire. The service was horrible. I usually purchase tires from Canadian Tire but I did not want to go there after that.

I sat in the parking lot with a flat tire until CAA came and changed it for me. They were shocked also that NO ONE would help.

I went to the rymal road store in Hamilton, in response to ad for kayak, item #399-9803-8. The junior people in the store were helpful, but when they told me the store had not ever got that item into the store, I asked for the Manager.

This was today, June 22, late morning. The Manager came, and told me they had gotten those kayaks and had sold them all. He made it clear that he did not want to deal with me, and he certainly did not want to do anything to make me feel heard.

He left me feeling very upset. I left and went to the store at Queenston Rd in Hamilton. From the moment I entered that store, the reception was very different. There were staff at the front of the store who asked if they could help me.

The staff in sports were helpful, found me the kayak I was looking for, answered…

This is not just about very poor service from the vast majority of canadian tire store associates. A rare few of them know what " customer service " actually means. the vast majority of canadian tire store associates do not how to smile , do not know how to be polite and act as if asking for help from them is an unwelcome burden. Even saying " thank you " falls on deaf ears. Do they have personal problems ? Don't take out on me. we all have personal problems. Don't like their jobs ? walk away and find another. It seems to me that canadian tire specifically and intentionally hire those who don't fit the qualities of a customer service rep. This applies to all canadian tire branches I have dealt with EXCEPT the one located at 400 Dundas St E, Oakville, ON L6H 6Z9

I was shopping in the Canadian Tire in Elliot Lake on 06/18/2022 . The cashier did not ask for my points card. I ask her shouldn't she have asked for it and she said "we don't do that" so I asked how can I get my points she said, " you have to do it at the beginning" so

again I ask how can I get my points, She said " I will have to void it and do it over" So I told her to do that and she did. I was back in the store later that day because my son wanted to get some thing and he heard he tell the other cashier's"Look out for that one!

"I think this was very rude and unprofessional. Is it your policy to not ask for the points card? I worked in retail many many years and we were told to ask for the rewards cards, if you didn't it was bad for you.

I along with my son visited the CTC store located in Brockville On. on Sunday 19 June 2022. Our intent was to purchase a patio dining table set along with an umbrella and cover for the set. We new the set we were interested in and as it was not on display we inquired to one of the girls on the floor.

She advised she could not assist us and we needed to go to customer service. When we got to customer service we provided her with the item number and the individual advised she could could not assist us and there was nobody available to assist us as she along with others were to busy.

i ordered a toilet seat . they sent me the wrong one. i phoned them and they contacted purolator to pick it up. when purolator got here they said they could;nt take the package as there was no retuirn label.

i phoned canadian tire again to get the proper paperwork. they said they would senf the paperwork and when i got it to call them back and they would arrange for parcel pickup. the paperwork came and i called them and they then said i had to call purolator myelf.

they said they didn''t call for pickups themselves. they made the mistake, i shouldn't have to jump through to fix their error.

The person ( man) who I was talking to about my account was not friendly at all and it appeared that I was bothering him because of my call. I was calling because of a payment issue and made arrangements to pay accordingly.

When I asked what my new new bill balance was he stated “it’s on your statement and gave me the amount due then hung up without a goodby or to let me talk. He was quick and very ignorant!! For the record I called twice and got hung up on.

Went in for an oil change on June 13 to Dixie/Dundas location. Asked the service guy to check a back tire for possible leakage. Waited around and after 45 minutes went to check on the status my vehicle. They never checked the tire, went back to my vehicle, they never reset the kilometers, they never put a sticker on the windshield as to when to come back for service.

When I went back in to ask them about it, the machine was broken, so they wrote it down on a piece of paper. I went in there with just over 132,000klms, they put on the sticker to come back after 191,000klms.

By this time I was so frustrated, a manager was supposed to call me back and never did. The worst customer service experience ever. I will never take my car back to this location. Horrible service.

I purchase a Coleman above ground pool which was delivered on May 9 2022. After over 2 hours on the phone I finally found out that the pool was from Arizona??? Why when my intention was to buy from Canada I am the one to deal with an American Company?

I can cross the border to buy if I want to buy from USA! What is going on with Canadian Tire? My vacation for this year is gone I was so happy when I order it but now my enthusiasm is gone.

Having utilized your store on Saturday for the purchase of a bicycle and protective equipment for the not unsubstantial amount of $680, I was quite appalled at the behaviour of the person on the till (ID#665727). When the bike in question was taken down from the display rack, it was quite clearly in a row marked with a red rectangular price tag of $499. It is not my fault that the bike was wrongly priced, and I think it is entirely my right to query when the price comes up at the till as $100 dearer. Unfortunately, your operator did not share that view and was extremely reluctant to query the price maintaining that the system was not wrong. London Hyde Park Rd location: Brake job and tire change, now my traction control doesn’t work, stabilitrack shut off, abs system has gone haywire, the all wheel drive system shut off, and the check engine light is on, and I was nearly t-boned because of no response when I pressed the gas pedal.

On March 11th I took my Honda Accord to your location on Innes Road Orleans for service. There was a load audible noise coming from the timing belt area. Honda recommends replacement of this belt every 100,000 km. I mentioned this to advisor, who then indicated that the proper process was to run diagnostics.

I left the car with them to perform their analysis. I was shocked when the advisor contacted me to indicate that a new engine was required to fix the problem. 09 for the diagnostic process. The car was then parked until I could source out a second opinion.

I found another garage (precision auto) to perform their diagnosis. 1K. I have been a loyal Canadian customer for years and had many vehicles served at the Orleans location, and I’m wondering if I have paid needlessly for work…

We purchased a Hot Wheels Kids' Bike, 14-in, Training Wheels #071-1423-8 for our grandson on 6/3/2022

We attempted to return this on 6/6/2022 and Stouffville Canadian Tire said it is not returnable for a refund. They said it was store policy and did not explain why it was not returnable. The store manager and staff were very unhelpful and made no attempt to provide good customer service or satisfaction. The reason for a refund is that we consider the bike unsafe as the braking is inadequate. There were no other Hotwheels bikes that our grandson liked that have an adequate braking system.

Please let us know what Canadian Tire can do to resolve this matter. Thanks

Terrible service. Appt at 10 am. Have been sitting here a full hour and they are just now getting the car in the shop. Last time my car was here I waited 8 full hours and they didnt even do any work.

How much time must I waste? How many days off work must I take? If you’re going make an appointment, get it together and get the car in when it’s supposed to. They know I’m waiting. I don’t have a chauffeur so when you have my car I can’t go anywhere.

Wasting people’s time like that is incredibly rude. Will be finding another auto shop.

Hi,We are your customers for many many years something 27 years ,always been satisfied till now. A week ago we went to Midland store to buy different items including flowers, shrubs, others. We planted everything, in very good fertile soil but after 4 days flowers started to die.

We went to store again to report our issue and to check other plants. What we discovered that plants was sporadically watered on the top of container but roots which was already out from containers was very dry /dead. We asked re policies for the flowers/ shrabs and the cashier told us that it's not existing, she also was very rude stating that nobody asked us to buy and we can go somewhere else to buy it.

We also talk to regional manager who has no clue re returning policies, but later on she caught us around…

Canadian tire has a wonderful website I like the fact you write down the item # go to the store give the # find out where it is located, how many they have? Etc or do it right on the website!

But that god dam tire site SUCKS!!!! Can't get tire size you want! Has to fit a vehicle that has wrong tire size! Then on website 8 tires in stock at store go to store and they don't have 1 and have not had any for 6 months!

I am a disabled person and still like to shop independently. I recently tried to shop at Canadian Tire in Brandon Manitoba since being disabled and discovered that this store does not offer shopping electric scooters. Wheel chairs are available but someone has to push them as well as someone else is needed to push a grocery cart.

All other stores I shop at have these available. Considering the area this store covers it is impossible for me (and I am sure others) is this position to shop successfully.

Very disappointed in this lack of consideration for the handicapped!

I was at Canadian Tire on coventry road ottawa at 4:30 pm this evening. I went to the automotive department in order to ask the young man if he could match up a radiator cap for my 1968 Plymouth satellite.

He started typing in my car’s information and then I explained to him that the radiator was an aftermarket part and that by him looking it up would give him the wrong information as the radiator was not stock. He then went over and asked the automotive manager mechanic Eric if he could help.

Eric was nasty to the young man and gave him attitude and said he could look up the cars information and sent him back to me. I said”excuse me sir but that tone and attitude was not necessary” and I tried to explain what I described above.

This company keeps locking out my credit card account because it thinks it got stolen or something. Every single time I call them, I have to wait at least TWO, YOU HEARD ME, TWO FREAKING HOURS FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP TO UNLOCK IT AGAIN.

IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING TO DEAL WITH THIS AND THEY KEEP LOCKING ME OUT EVEN THOUGH I GOT 2 FACTOR AUTHENTICATION AND PUT IN THE RIGHT CODE EVERYTIME. WHAT THE HELL IS EVEN THE POINT OF 2 FACTOR AUTHENITCATION IF I GET LOCKED OUT FOR RANDOM PURCHASES.

Book an appointment for seasonal auto tire change and requested to install and program brand new TPMS. Attended the appointment book (2PM May 6/2022).

Drop the car off mentioned all the specifics including the location of the TPMS which was on top to the tires and location of the wheel lock. 2 Hours waiting on the waiting room to check on the vehicle and nothing was being done yet.

Was told that they couldn't find the wheel locked, which is very frustrated as I told them this. From 2PM appointment and 5PM still waiting for my vehicle this is a seasonal tire change.

The brought my vehicle out and notice that my TPMS still blinking, then I noticed that my brand new TPMS still in the box uninstalled.

Shopping Experience at Canadian Tire April 25/2022 at 10:00 am. Entered store to purchase 223 shells. Attendee asked for firearms license and opens locked case and removes shells as per discussion and walks me to till to pay for them.

He was a very nice young guy. Cashier rings shell and I return to vehicle put on glasses and read bill it says 222 shells, after carefully reading box and finding these are the wrong shells. Return to store was out approximately 2-3 mins.

Young attendee gets proper shells and we go back to till. Older lady says no returns on ammunition and also says we should have looked closer. I wonder if this lady should be behind the till or sweeping floors (not very customer friendly employee) I Felt bad for the young employee as it was an honest mistake.

My complaint is with Automotive Service Desk in Yarmouth. I was trying to make an appointment to get my utility trailer MVI done. This is approximately 2 :30 Sat afternoon. Phone rang and I was on hold for a lengthy period.

Someone finally comes on the line as says the service person is very busy and takes my name and number for a call back. Well it didn't happen. If you cant even book my appointment ,why should I expect acceptable service.

Service department needs a shake up. Thanks anyways. I will make arrangements elsewhere. Canadian Tire will never be a consideration for any auto service in the future.

Was at Canadian tire at 225 cremazie East in montreal quebec today at approx. 2:30 PM . I paid for 2 propane fill ups at the gas station . As I pulled out my reservoirs form my car and brought them to the attendant he started screaming at me that one was expired. So I said to him not a problem will go pay for a new one and we will settle the problem. Your auto service department in Mission BC is very poorly run. Standing in line waiting for service. Sign says on lunch be back at 1:15. It’s now 3:00pm. Someone comes out to fix time. They can’t so walk back behind counter.

Next thing someone says sorry we r on lunch till 4:00. Not acceptable.

On Sept. 18, 2021, I set out to purchase work gloves from Canadian Tire. When checking out, the work gloves item was rung in and it had come up at a different price than the advertised price. I notified the clerk of the price discrepancy and I had to go get the sign for the gloves advertised price.

They offered to sell me the gloves at the advertised price and I was ok with this, however, I advised the clerk of the scanning code of practice and asked for $10 off the item. To my surprise, the clerk had no idea what the scanning code of practice was and so I asked to speak with the manager.

I requested and received a "rain check" for an item that was out of stock in Nov 2021. I have never received a call from the Stouffville Canadian Tire store and every time I checked the stock it was always zero.

I finally went to the Uxbridge store today as they have always had stock available (usually around 20+) and when I presented the "rain check" for the item they said it was too old. They said that if it was a few weeks old they would have honored the "rain check".

I explained that the Stouffville store has never had stock since I received the "rain check" and they said they could not sell me the knife sharpener for $6:99 (item # 142-5847-8) as it cost the company more than that to purchase. This was an "on sale" Christmas promotion item that was advertised at 85% off.

I requested and received a "rain check" for an item that was out of stock in Nov 2021. I have never received a call from the Stouffville store and every time I checked the stock it was always zero. I finally went to the Uxbridge store today as they have always had stock available (usually around 20+) and when I presented the "rain check" for the item they said it was too old.

They said that if it was a few weeks old they would have honored the "rain check". I explained that the Stouffville store has never had stock since I received the "rain check" and they said they could not sell me the knife sharpener for $6:99 (item # 142-5847-8) as it cost them more that that.

This was an "on sale" Christmas promotion item that was advertised at 85% off. I no longer have any faith in Canadian Tire.…

If you're trying to find tires and rims for your vehicle online, be prepared for frustration. The current system requires you to put in your vehicle's information to "give you the right size", but good luck getting that to work.

Half the time, you can't get the damn thing to give you the right "options" for wheel sizes based on your vehicle's model, make, etc. and there's no option on the product's page to simply select the size that you want.

You end up having to fish around, playing with different combinations of vehicle type until you stumble across the one that gives you the right size. You can't even just straight up search for the right size because it will only bring up the products, except once again the only way to see if those products are available in the size you need is to…

From misdiagnosing a major safety issue and sending us driving on the highway with a tire that was about to fall off, endangering our lives & the lives of others, to selling product with warranty that they do not honor, to straight up being lied to even with corporate on the line the London Auto Center on Horton is a nightmare to deal with.
