Today I went into the Canadian Tire on hwy 56 . around 1:00pm , Went to customer service department to return a vacuum. Purchased the vaacuum Bislle Magic Stick 02/05/22 . The stick vacuum does not have enough power .

It doesn;t pick up everything that it should. I brought the vacuum back to return it. The Lady at the customer service was very rude . Telling me that I needed to bring in the box. I said we throw out the box .

who keep every box that they get. That is such ridiculous to keep every dam box you get. The because she was so rude I ask to speak to the manager. She wasn't any better. She said the return policy was 30 days, I tried telling her it hasn't been a week.

31,2022 to book an appointment for oil change. 1st ,2022 at 6 PM. I went on time but Jessica told me that they can't do it because of shortage of labour (but why they didn't call me and waited for me to show up) Anyway I had to reschedule the appointment to next day Feb,2nd,2022 at 5:30 PM.

00 for the filter and labour which I didn't see . 2,2022. Because I waited so long and was tired I had to leave but because they failed to show me the old oil filter which I changed it 2 month ago I want my money back $58 and

please if you can't do the work please give respect to customers and call them to cancel their appointments before they arrived.

Also for oil change the work takes max. 1/2 hour why you guys are taking more than 1 1/2 to do it.

I am following up my complaint sent last Dec. 23, 2021. It seems you don’t take customers’ complaints seriously since from that time up to now Jan. 12, 2022 no one from your company has contacted me. I ordered and paid online 2 pieces of nutcrackers last Dec. 23, 2021.

I picked them up from your Ontario St. Branch the following day. I opened the package upon arriving at home and found out that one of the items had a missing part on it (the ginger man on top of the tray) Please see attached pictures for your reference.

I tried to return a coffee pot that made my coffee tase of plastic for over a week. I couldn't drink the coffee from that pot, The customer service rep refuse to return it as she said It could not be put back oh the shelf.

I suggested that maybe they not buy from China. I persisted and she finally took it back but was visibly unhappy about it. I went to Costco and bought one as they have better customer service and return policy. Make the customer happy is their motto the opposite to CT.

I have had many other problems returning items to CT

I placed an order online for a car battery on Jan 9, there was one showing in inventory so I place the order. Everything looked fine, I was asked for an email address and a cell phone they could send a message to.

I then got a confirmation email to say my order was being processed and I could pick the battery up the next day Jan 10 after 10:30 am. I was also told I would get a text to tell me when it was ready.

The next day Jan 10 at 12:30 I called the automotive center to find out the status of my order, I was transferred to the online dept who then came back and said. The product is not available and was placed on hold the evening of the 9th.

I asked why I wasn't notified, the reply was, it wasn't me it was another person they placed the order on hold. Did I get a notice? No I did not…

Dear Canadian Tire Ombudsman, On Saturday, January 8th at approximately 7pm I went to the Canadian Tire Store located at 7878 120st, Surrey BC. I had purchased the Type A Freestanding Closet [36”x20”x68” barcode 8200193701] in August 2020. I realize that was a few months ago but we had just completed the renos in our spare bedroom, so I did not have a chance to try and put it together until this past Saturday.

I noticed that there were some pieces missing so I went back to try and exchange it or get the missing parts.

Called Canadian Tire Calgary Richmond on a Sat. morning hoping to have a defrost issue resolved. Had dealership appointment Monday but really needed my car through the week for work so thought this a good option, but I was so very Wrong.

I have never come across such dim-witted, ignorant, and incompetent customer service staff like this before. Dropped car of at approx.. 9 am, called them at noon and was told I needed a part that they could have couriered over asap and installed that afternoon.

I said great go ahead. At 4:30 still no word from them, so I called again knowing they closed at 6. Told, “oh ya um we ordered the wrong part, and can’t get the one we need until maybe Wednesday, but could be longer cuz its coming in from Toronto”.

Foreign mechanic was incompetent, didn't speak English and not capable of a simple thermostat install after looking at my vehicle for 2 hours, he only knew how to redline RPMs for 20 minutes straight blowing out the engine piston rings. Stay away from these clowns if you value your car and wallet. Go elsewhere.

June 4, 2021, my car (Dodge Avenger 2008) had an Oil Change. The Auto Garage repair MANAGER drove my car inside. I was told to wait outside. 1.5 hours later, my car was ready to go. 1) As a customer, I TRUSTED Canadian tire auto because I bought four (4) tires, changed the right ball, and did many things there with some good-quality technicians, so I didn't check. I had NEVER opened my car-front-hood. 2) Today Jan 4, 2022, I opened the hood to observe the car engine oil TEST ROD to see the OIL level (within safety level? how much above the bottom safety level). 3) Surprisingly, I found "TEST ROD" is not there any longer. Instead, a PLUG was in the opening of the car oil test rod box.

Surprisingly!! How surprised I am! How Canadian tire treats CUSTOMERS' TRUST!!!!

I phoned the 328 Old Airport Road Yellowknife, Canadian Tire Auto Centre. (I have been waiting months for all the parts for my vehicle repairs to come in and I have paid an $800 deposit. ) My main complaint is that this service representative, Roland, lied to me about calling my cellphone repeatedly and about my vehicle service and spoke rudely to me.

I had an appointment last night to put my winter tire on however guys could not find the right nut when they put the winter tire but I got it on the front storage area once I got the key back. I called them and told them about it and I was ready to come back right away but they recommended to come back next morning at 9 am as that's the best time for them.

This morning I went to the Hyde park london ontario location and they said it will take few hours to replace only few nuts otherwise comeback for another day. As it's a working day and I am at work now can't stay few hours just for replacing the nuts when they replace the tire less than an hour.

Unfortunately, I did not get expected customer service and cooperation from the service agent. They were not customer friendly. I am not happy…

I ordered a Kingwood Media Fireplace from the above store on 10th October 2021. I specifically purchased this model as shown on the Canadian Tire website showing a specific fireplace inbox which looked liked a real burning log fire. 00 for delivery as I do not drive, do not own a vehicle and do not know anyone who has a van.

This was delivered on Sunday 17th October 2021. Much to my surprise, the firebox insert which came with the media fireplace unit, was nothing like the one I had chosen. It looks cheap, nasty & looks nothing like a glowing real fire with logs as was shown on the Canadian Tire website.

I went this evening Friday Dec 5, 2021 at 5:45pm to the Orillia Canadian Tire. I wanted to return a bb gun/rifle that I bought Nov 28, 2021. I tried the gun and it was much more powerful than I wanted.

The manager (British accent, middle aged male) informed me that they could not take the gun back because it had been used and that Canadian Tire does not return things with nothing wrong with the product other than costumer does not want it. I found this to be 'bullshit', he aggressively stated to me to not use that language with him and his staff.

I had only used the word 'bullshit' towards him. I have been shopping at Canadian Tire since the 1970's. We had just recently purchased a hot-tub at Canadian Tire. I vow, if nothing can be done I will not step foot in another Canadian Tire Store…

I purchased an item at the Canadian Tire in Port Coquitlam on Nov 19 2021. Looking at my bank statement I have been charged twice for the same item. I went back to the store and they did nothing about it.

I believe you are the most cheating lieing company in Canada. I went for help to loosen the valve on my tires and I been told I need an appointment because he has to cut the rubber on the valve and replace it.

Immediately my fitst thought was how ridiculous was this. I told him why don't you use the pliers to loosen it up he said the valve is plastic and it would break. I went to a tire shop (Tirecraft) they fix it using pliers add air and no charge.

This is not the first time you try to cheat me. I have no trust in you and I assure you my story will go public. SHAME ON YOU ! The valve is metal

Hello I write to you because of a negative experience I on Saturday, Nov 13 at the marche central store. I had completed and deposited the leve-tot envelope at 7 00 am for a tire change .I left and waited for an answer which never came.At about 15.30 after couple of calls unanswered I decided to go see for myself what happened. To my dismay I found the envelope where I left it,and when I asked the supervisor to see his manager he said he does not have any....He was rude and didn't even apologize or try to make amends. Hope this will help other customers avoid loosing a day and being ignored and treated like garbage.

I buy my tires because I have warranty for repair and service and CT is close to my residence. I called this morning for warranty work on a tire that is going flat. I got 0 out of 10 customer service.

I was told they can repair my tire on December 16. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Proper service would be to reserve a spot for customers who your products under warranty, especially tires. What can you do about this horrible service?

I called the Kelowna outlet and was on hold for 45 minutes waiting for the service department . While waiting, I used another phone and called the customer service number and was advised by the front desk that customers typically have to wait 40 - 60 minutes before being answered.

I asked to be transferred to the manager and was connected to someone who referred to herself "as a grunt" who proceeded to laugh at how long I had waited. I was never able to speak with anyone from the service department. ca

I wanted to return a steam mop that I didn’t feel worked as good as I thought it should. The girl at customer service was rude and uncooperative. She said exchange only. Checked but had nothing I could use. Went back (stood in line) only to be told no refund or store credit that was the policy.

I attended store #420 at 1400 Ottawa St. S. 22 to purchase water softener salt and while there I was going to buy an inflatable Halloween ghost that was advertised in the Canadian Tire flyer dated Oct. 28. When I couldn't find any Halloween things, I asked an employee, who said it was all put away.

" It makes no sense. It's advertised, and over a week before Halloween, why would everything be put away. I believe the store employee could have got it from the back warehouse, but was to lazy to make the effort.

I was very satisfied with the whole shopping experience while inside the Welland Ontario Canadian Tire store until I got to my car. I was told by the employee who helped me with my heavy purchases and also the cashier did call for some help with my heavy purchases to get them into the back of my car.

The cashier told me to bring the cart to the car and one of two employees outside would help me load my purchases. I waited for a long time by my car with the hatchback open. There were two young employees outside.

One was pushing the empty carts into the store. The other was smoking and fiddling with the other empty carts . I finally asked the one who was at the cart storage , who was smoking, to help me and he just walked away .

I tried to order bird seed from Fort Saskatchewan Alberta online. For some reason the basket kept saying I ordered 5 when I ordered 2 bags. I called the store and talked with the customer service manager. She kept talking over me, was very impatient with me because she said she was trying to close the store and she was in a hurry.

When I tried AGAIN to explain the problem she kept interrupting and I said if she would not talk over me then we wouldn't waste time. I then said I would take 5 bags instead of the original 2 bags.

Was customer in Kenora store sept 14/21. Product not available but found one comparable with sale ticket. Rang up at full price and when a questioned got a lecture on which sale tickets cover which products. No alternatives offered.

Also searched on line for other item and showed as having 2 at that store. Response? We can’t find and customer service personnel walked away. This is not the first nor I suspect the last incident of poorly trained or just downright rude staff.

Covid has made me sensitive to treating people with respect but I would expect the same in return. This experience was terrible and I will not recommend this particular store to anyone. Shame on you!

CDN tire is ripping off customers for decades, overcharging on needless repairs, warranties that don't exist. Purchased lifetime warranty on battery, awhile ago, for a eliminator battery, 985crank amps, 800cca, 115m. Reserve. They don't have battery now? Try to down grade to a much Lower motomaster battery which do not last.

I visited today the Canadian Tire store at Lawrence West Plaza to return some light fixtures that I bought 2 days ago. The store has a line up outside. I was second in line and waited at least 15 minutes until I start feeling dizzy because of the sun. The person in front of me was an senior gentlemen who also waited considerable time and wasn't feeling well. Spoke with someone on the phone about a battery issue and they said to bring it in. Excited, I took my battery out of my car to return on warranty. An employee by the name of Brian was rude and short about every question I asked.

I will make sure to never shop at this canadian tire again and will make every effort to warn everyone I know about this situation. Why would anyone buy a battery with a 4 year warranty and be refused not even six months in.

Thanks for the Hassel after a long day of work in the heat and sun to deal with a crass employee that was sitting on a chair. Employees should be paid on customer service and not by the hour, I am a supervisor in a commercial restoration company and have to be professional and respectful to my clients.

I went to the Dartmouth crossing location last night with my neighbor as he had to pick up an online order. We were both right beside security the entire time but 2 young black kids entered after us and the alarm beeped so when they left security checked their things.

When I entered and saw the dishes my neighbor got for 20 I asked a woman who works there to take me to them to purchase my own set. The whole time security was watching me even though I was with someone who works there and didnt even go fully into the store until I purchased the dishes.

When I went to leave the security guard asked to check my bag even though we were right beside him the entire time. He did not ask to see anyone else's things after the young kids except for mine and I am a 42 year old bi racial person.

On friday aug 6 at 930 am at the richmond rd sw calgary story. I went to see about a fan. I asked to see how powerful it is and was told no. I went to customer service and the dept head- a white girl, long dark skin 5 foot 8, which included fans came up to customer service and proceeded to repepeat her position over and over.

I asked for the store mananger who did not show up. I told her " I felt harrassed and she continued- she ignored my request to stop repeating over and over and over- for 5min- the same information. \I went to home depot and found what i was looking for.

I will not go to that store again even though it is in my neighborhood.

Your sales flyer for the week of Aug. 5-11 adverting tires the picture clearly shows the size of tires and price (265/70/17 $147.72) total for four would be $590.88 but when I called they told me that is was for a different size of tire. 99$. I bought a can which would do the job I had to do but with at least 1/4 of the paint left in the can it stopped working. I went back to the store to see if they would replace the can as obviously defective.

The young girl who told me she was the manager refused to replace the can and was totally rude. I spend a lot of money every year at CTC and found this totally unacceptable. I am seriously thinking of never spending another cent at Can. Tire.

The distance you have to walk to get to a checkout at the Sarnia store I am physically disabled which makes long distance walking difficult to get to a checkout is a 45 foot walk yet to get to auto is a 10 foot walk I do not use them and if things are not changed myself and a lot of other people will probably stop shopping there please address this problem. Worst customer service by general manager Joe Pereira at 3200 Rutherford Canadian tire location, he was so rude have no manners on how to empathize with customers, my complaints was due to missing purchased item from the bag, he refused to give it, and told me off stating I am doing fraud and told me to get out of his store, why would I lie for $9 item when I made Purchase of $130.

Totally unacceptable behavior from a manager, very disappointed, you have lost me as your longest time customer, will never visit this store anymore after being treated this way.

It’s disgusting that your stores do not let people in to shop without a mask. The manager is extremely rude to people that can’t wear masks. Some can’t wear them due to medical reasons and your manager treats these people as if they lied!

This also goes against Canadians’ Charter of Rights and Freedoms! It’s time a lawyer is consulted to deal with your company!

i had a truck towed to canadian tir in alymer,to have shifter cable repaired.2 days later get a call,state, ''the truck is to old ,dirty for them to bother with'',i said what?''well we also dont no who else worked on it'',???? my response was''you guys are the only ones ever to'',as a custormer for 16 years there ,all trucks have gone there,,''told i should just buy a new one'' .What??? ''well maybe get time,and someone here willing to look at it''.But you should just take it some were else''.2 weeks later it has not even moved from drop off,i paid 100 for tow,now another tow needed home and tow again some were else. WTF?? ..regardless canadian tire will never see me again for anything.IT NOT THAT HARD OF A JOB..

I when to the valleyfield Quebec Canadian Tire today and they refused to take my Canadian Tire money.they take cash that has been passed around but will not take there own money saying to many people may have touched it. I was talking in English to the manage but he was not wanting to talk to me in English,there was also another employee that keep telling me to go to Ontario ,I assume because I was talking English. Was not impressed by the service at all

Well I went to a Canadian Tire Store today and was kicked out by a nasty man security for not wearing a mask. I am unable to use a mask for medical reasons. The nasty guy said he didn't care and to GET OUT OF THE STORE.

I said I would never shop there again. Nasty guy said that's OK, just GET OUT. So i got out no purchases. Cash but I will never ever go to any Canadian Tire Store from now on. I am 72 years old and don't deserve that BS.

Now that I told 5 of my friends and 2 neighbors, they are going to boycott your stores too. And I will continue to tell others about your poor business practices. How many sales will you lose? Over the next few months.

You are letting the liars of government dictate to this big farce. Good luck Belinda Repose
