I was in your store today 1975 Dundas St. 12 + tax used my Ontario Status card the cashier put it through but did not know how to fill out form asked for help and my card was then rejected after I already payed.

I used my status card in August and it accepted then in September it was rejected. Just used it on Friday November 23/18 and it was accepted with supervisors ok now today Sunday November 25/18 it was rejected. I was told just because it looks like an Alberta card they cannot accept it.

My card is from the Algonquin area here in Ontario not from Alberta. This is BULL SHIT and I will NOT be shopping at any off your locations ever again. not even really sure if the money was put back on my credit card after being rejected. May have been double…

I had been in this Canadian Tire store several times that week. I'm a big sale person. I pick out what I want in your store and wait for it to go on sale. I was looking for a folding table that was on sale. As I was walking around the store I checked out for an air mattress to see what was available. You had one exactly like I was looking for on sale for $57.00. While I was thinking about it I went looking for the table and I couldn't find one. When I finally did find one I had forgotten about the air mattress. I didn't remember until I was parking at home. I figured it would still be on sale in the morning so I would go over and get it. Horid way to run a business. Automotive booked me in for Monday @ 10 am for a $1300 tire job. Showed up and the tried to say it was Tuesday after me taking a day off. just see ya tomorrow.

My husband purchased a Meter saw on October 17th 2018, after opening the item, he noticed the item was used and the blade was rusted. On October 18th 2018 I went to return the item at the Canadian store located in Gatineau Quebec, Le Plateau Hull.

I explained that the item was used and the blade was rusted. The employee than opened the box and called in other employees to look at the item. She came back and told me that the item can not be refunded but will be credited because it looks used and the blade is rusted.

We got a flyer in the mail on Friday with a sale on tires . On Sunday the only day I have off work I went to buy 4 tires and an alignment they tell me they don't have any in stock.

So they check all the other stores and they don't have any either and never did have them in stock. And Canadian stores wonder why we buy American. I drove a half hr to get here at opening all a waste of my time

On Sept 16, 2018 vehicle 2004 Volvo XC70 required a light bulb change. I took the vehicle to Canadian Tire at 10 Great Lakes drive to be fix. The light bulbs were replace however it didn't work. 14 taxes included.

I Advised that service desk since the light replace is not working to remove new bulbs and put back old bulbs. I was advised that in order to fulfil my request I have to pay for another service and labour fees.

This does not faster good customer experience. To whom it may concern it need this complaints to be resolved urgently. Initial request of services to replace my light bulbs for vehicle was not address. Kindly provide resolution to the above request.

bought a car starter ,tried to return my old one for the core charge last night, after an hour of watching the auto parts guys hiding from me I left . took it back today with a run around again I ended up just leaving it there.

this cost me 250 today in lost wages plus my core charge and my time last night. i will never shop with you guys again

Needed a tire valve replaced as it had rusted through over the years of winter conditions. The appointment was supposed to be approx one hour. 3 hours later I was informed by one of the female staff that she had not put my order through yet and it would take at least another two hours, at least. Cost 62, 37.

Had to go back the next week as another wheel had the same problem. However, they said it also needed a new TMPS sensor. Total 168.48. The female staff member stated she should have charged me the 168.48 the 1st time as well even though there was no TMPS valve replaced.

Prior to the above, I had our vehicle in for an oil change and a front end alignment they said was required as the alignment was out. 282.64.

Finally, we had a check engine light come on. Back to the same Canadian…

m. , July 24, to return a kettle. I had taken the kettle out of the box, and discovered that I had bought the wrong one. I wanted a kettle with a base that plugs in, not a kettle that plugs directly into an outlet.

The woman at the Returns desk took the kettle out and inspected it. She said "It's been used". NO, it had not been used. it had been used. I told both of them half a dozen times that it had not been used and they told me half a dozen times that it had been.

So actually they were calling me a liar. That did not sit well with me. This was not the store where I had purchased the kettle, so after five minutes of humiliation, I took the kettle and went to the store on Eglinton where I had purchased it.

They told me that the AC wasn't working because the AC compressor was defective. I paid the money,they gave the car back but after that i didn't get a chance to check if the AC was working because we were in winter.

I brought the car back there and they told me that i still have the warranty over the part that was replaced and if it was defective they would fix it with no problem. They found out that there is no power to the compressor but the compressor is working OK.

so last year they took my money to repair the air conditioning (which was my concern is the first place and not the compressor) and did not deliver a working AC and now they are making me pay 150 just to check if they did their job or not? Thank you

while waiting for my fathers car to be serviced ,my mom da and my granddaughter did some shopping in the store KELOWNA CANADIAN TIRE in BC. as we approached the till my granddaughter placed the bottle of water on the till.

Yesterday I spent $425 on a pool and a salt water starter pool kit. This morning when I opened it the Quick Clear strips where missing. I called the store this morning to Let them know of this. I was told to bring my reicept in and they would replace the item.

I brought my reicept in and I was told they had none in stock. I live 40 minutes away from the store so I was a bit upset about driving all the way there for nothing. When I got home I was looking online and it said they had 4 in stock.

I called the store and the girl confirmed they had some in stock. She said I could come into the store to pick it up. I'm quite upset about this. I live 40 minutes away and the product itself is worth $10.

I have spent more in gas driving back and forth then the product is worth. Moral of the story…

Abbotsford auto dept asked for a bra for mazda 3 the person did not even know what it was I wanted to order today wanted to buy wheel covers and asked what the charge would be to install and immediately was told or they are just hubcaps got into a discussion and told them they are bolted and was told they are decoration they are bolted I used to work in auto parts and

purchased a gazebo over a month ago paid for the gazebo and the cost of installation, first attempt for installation was 3 weeks from purchase, installers arrived and were not able to install due to the fact that we had some patio furniture that they would not move( they have a no moving of furniture policy) they said they would be back the following week and we were okay with that however we received a call and said they wouldn't be able to do it till June 29th another 2 weeks of waiting today is the 29th we received a call that they had to cancel, we are terribly dissapointed, as we have guests coming and no gazebo!

Appreciate all the feedback and I should be clear this was not a result of me getting them to work on my vehicle but an act to prevent me from leaving the property. I am in need of advice and guidance so any input would be very much appreciated.

I went into the Canadian tire store in Mission to purchase two Michelin radial tires to replace the two front tires on a Toyota Camry, after one front tire received a puncture threw the sidewall. I dealt with the manager of the service department and requested two tires to replace the ones on the drive axles that had not been properly rotated by the previous owner of the car, who had purchased the Michelin tires from Canadian tire.

I was told the tires had been discontinued and was advised of an equivalent replacement tire Michelin makes. I purchased two tires and had them mounted and balanced on the summer rims as I was running the four winter tires and rims, and for them to dispose of the old tires.

Hi complaint department. Recently I purchased an garage door opener from the Beacon hill store. the Master Craft Garage Door Keyless Entry System model number 046-0506-0. I have had nothing but trouble with the operation of this unit. I have had to contact Skylink to get it replaced twice.

I am now on my third Garage Door Opener (GDO). The system keeps losing its distant travel settings. Leaving my garage door always open. Only this time after I left the door reopened and my garage was open to anyone that would take advantage of this.

a taxi owner purchase anywhere between 4000 to 5000 dollar a month in gas from your gas bar.

Also we purchase a lot of parts from your store. January 2015 I purchased a battery with a 3 yr replacement warranty. One of my cabs were acting up which ended up being the battery. I took it into your Amherst branch today and as we were doing the paperwork up for the replacement, the attendant said oh sorry we cant replace this , you are approx.

2 wks past your replacement warranty. the tag on the battery says 05/15. 00 or so. I was really upset with this. for what I spend at your location. So I took my old battery back and purchased a new one down the street at a cheaper price.

I am still upset over this and I'm really contemplating on purchasing my gas else where now.

went to Canadian tire today for 3 sale items and today was the first day of sale. all 3 items were out of stock. my biggest item was a 55 inch tv. the sku # was 39912946. they said there was none available till dec30.

this is not the first time this has happened to me. I spend a lot of money a year at Canadian tire. today was a promo card day spend $200 get $50 back. these items were a special buy so no reinchecks are available.

I think inventory in the stores should b checked before it becomes a flyer item. there has been times where I have showed up to a store and they said computer says we have 3 but there is none...

After 20 days of waiting for my appointment I went to do the winter package to know later that they only changed the oil without doing any of the other jobs Paid around 200 to fix a noise coming from the front left wheel which was not fixed When I followed up they said there's no sound and the car is good as if they're deaf.....

I took 3 tires to Truro NS store to be put on rims and balanced. The next morning one of the tires were leaking around the rim. My husband simply poured water around the rim and in 2 places there were bubbles.

Discrimination for wearing back pack. I have to because I daytrip from out of town. Manager extremely inflexible and rude at Cobourg Canadian Tire when I phoned about being able to make a purchase and that I have medical reasons for needing to carry my backpack in town.

I am unwilling to take it off and be humiliated to purchase one single item. I will be exploring other leak and civil litigation options for taking this further including launching a social media boycott.

On August 31, 2017 my husband purchased a T-Fal Pressure from the Centrepoint store as a gift for me. I was not able to figure out how to use it and when I examined it further it looked used. On September 3, 2017 I decided that I would return it as I was going out of the country and did not have the time to figure it out.

The person at the return desk said he could not take the item back and he along with another employee insisted that the item could not have been used when I bought it. I told them that was how I took it from the shelf and there was only one of the item.

John BC location and was shocked by the gross negligence and utter incompetence of your service department. I filled the tank as it was low (required for tank removal), only to find it half empty the next morning with a large puddle of gasoline under it.

I visited the store and spoke with Steve Adams, service adviser who was off the day my van was serviced. When he inquired, the clown responsible said he couldn't locate a grommet so they just reassembled the vehicle without it leaving an open fuel tank and extreme hazard risking major lawsuits and prison.

We purchased tires from Canadian Tire in October/November 2016, also had them re-torqued there. Our truck had a flat tire on April 25, 2017 left rear wheel, we took the wheel and tire to Canadian Tire Port Alberni and they repaired and remounted it, and we had it re-torqued at the same place.

On July 12, 2017 we then drove our vehicle to Campbell River from Port Alberni, when coming off a gravel road a driver told us that our wheel was about to fall off. There were two lug nuts left holding the wheel.

We temporarily secured the wheel and went to the Canadian Tire in Campbell River, and they remounted the tire and cleaned the studs, and told us we were safe to go. Excellent service there. We returned to Port Alberni, and went to Canadian Tire just before closing.

Very poor customer service (not the first time). Brought my car to Newmarket location for front tire installation before noon, was told that my car will be ready by 3 maximum 4 pm, the shop wasn't busy that time, was waiting for the phone call by 4:20 pm, arrived to the store at 4:30 my car wasn't been even touched, asked the salesperson what is going on?

This is not a complaint but just the opposite on Nov. 24 at the East Windsor store I had purchased 5 items from the store but when I arrived at my car I only had 2 items. When I returned to the store the remainder of my items were no where to be found.

I went to the front desk to complain and I am not sure of her position but Connie with her quick response was able to assist me in getting my remaining items and making it a great day instead of a bad day.

On September 9,2016 I had my brakes done at the Woodbridge Canadian Tire. Two months later I wanted to remove all four tires and install my winter tires but could not remove any of the nuts on the tires. On November 21,2016 I brought my vehicle back to the Woodbridge Canadian Tire to ask them to loosen the nuts for me.

The service advisor named Ennio told me he could not do them that night because there was not enough time but to bring it back first thing in the morning and he would do them right away. It is now the time of year to have our snow tires put on. Many times before I have just showed up early in the morning (by 10 AM) at Canadian Tire on Fairview St. Service Dept. in Burlington and for something like this no problem, no appointment, they will take me and I can wait.

This letter is regarding a visit made to Canadian Tire on August 19th, 2016 ( Invoice #: 20018200111668). I came to the auto shop for two reasons: (1) The car was shaking when it in was at a stand still and (2) the headlights were flickering. I brought the car to a mechanic close to my house who told me the alternator was not charging the battery properly since it was only charging at 12.7 V. Since the alternator and battery were under warranty from Canadian Tire I brought the car in to have it assessed on August 19th.

I decided to buy tires from you guys, same price as other places, but you had a promotion of interest free. The sales person told me I had to have a Canadian tire credit card to get the deal. He called and handed me the phone.

I was approved for a loan for the tires. They didn't have them in , so they were ordered. The wrong size was ordered by the sales person, even though I have the quote showing the right size. They re-ordered the right size, it took another week for them to come in.

They gave me an appointment to have them installed. Whe I showed up, they told me I had to come back another week later. I showed up for that appointment and had them installed. At the Ottawa and Fischer Hallman location in Kitchener around 5:30 pm Oct. 28 2016. I wanted to purchase an item from the glass cabinet in the sporting department, There was a manager in the sports isle which had the glass cabinet key.

She was having a personal conversation with a customer, I approached her twice but she just kept on talking and giggling with this customer and refused to acknowledge me, we even made eye contact. In the end I had to go find another associate to go get the key from her, and still she continued talking not even paying attention to myself or the other associate.

I even had to tell the young associate that he had to escort the item up to the till. This team is obviously poorly managed by a manager which needs to do her job in a professional manner.

Hi I bought goodyear winter tires online from canadian tire and went for its installation today. Invoice no: 20032400079524 Order No: 1606735681900

After coming back home I randomly checked the tires and found that I have been cheated. The tired installed are Hankook tires and I have been charged for goodyear winter tires (579.78cad).

2. The information provided to me about the installation charges was different when i went in person and on the phone. I was asked to pay 70cad when I went in person and was asked to pay 104cad at the time of taking appointment.

Purchased and installed winter tires. Tire warning light came on and was told to drive it and it would reset. Drove to the cottage and home 300 km. Went to a professional tire shop and was told canadiant tire used the wrong size nuts. The bolts were stripped. And not to drive it. Had it towed back to CT and they fixed part of the problem. Returned to tVan Hemmen tire for balancing and was told Canadian Tire did not install hub rings so the tire was. Loose. This non action put my family in danger and could have ended very badly. The lack of expereience and knowledge from your service dept. is deplorable. The Store is in Whitby . Taunton and Garden. 00 at CenterPoint Mall Canadian Tire The reason a coolent problem which was supposed to be repaired. Two days later the same problem overheating. I was very upset since I am a nurse and need my car since I am on call.

The manager at this site was not helpful at all . I know it is very busy here but I did not like the way he handled the situation. We are paying customers. I will never come back here or tell anyone else to. Poor customer service.

I entered Canadian Tire with my 3 children to pick up a couple of things as I always do. I always loved the atmosphere of the store. My children and I looked through some of the Halloween decorations and proceeded through the store to purchase an indoor wood storage shelf. We found exactly what we were looking for, grabbed a couple of snacks for the kids then, on to the till to pay for our items. We had to wait in line for out turn. When our turn came I placed my items on the tray and reached in my side bag to grab my wallet.

It was then I was asked to open my bag so that the employee could see inside. I was shocked and offended by his request but, I worked in retail through college and understood the job. As soon as I opened my bag I believe the employee could sense my frustration. To…
