no one could answer my question. but not the other. They said they didn't receive it. ( which had to be a lie) because they cashed one. 4 hours trying to talk to representatives who clearly are outsourced as they spoke I could hardly understand what they were saying.

My nephews tax returns were showing up in my account this morning April1st 2023. A few hours later they were gone. I called and got no where with customer service. His name is on my account as my beneficiary, so I don't understand why you would kick these payments back.

I tried adding him to my account and I was told only 2 people could be joint owners. That really makes no sense to me.

00 on 3-15-23, 3 days before the due date. 98. 80 interest on it??????? I called to get it off because I am going to pay in 30 days. They would not remove, said I owed from previous bill. How can that be, I Paid in Full?

91, with a reward of 10X miles for booking through the portal.

However, when I went to pick up the car on December 2 in Cancun, Mexico, I was informed that the price would be double due to additional insurance that was not included in the rental agreement. Capital One Travel acknowledged the mistake and refunded the total amount.

However, as no other cars were available through the travel portal, I had to find another rental at a higher cost, which was charged to my Capital One card. I only received 2X miles for this rental, despite the original rental agreement offering 10X miles.

Good afternoon Mr. Fairbanks:

Please be advised that I contacted Capital One’s customer service number this afternoon at about 1:20 PM CST time. I was connected to Amber and I inquired about the $10.07 interest charge to my account.

Amber explained that the charge was interest on some of my balance after I paid it off in full. She indicated that only the system could remove the charge and at this time the system was not allowing the $10.07 to be removed.

Most of the time I get routed to a call center in East India, where I can't understand the representative,or their grammar is so bad it makes my head hurt. Most recently, with a balance in my account in the 5 to 6 digit range I'm getting transactions under $10 declined because ( I'm assuming they're flagged for fraud) but the representative was unsure why, very ignorant twords me, and

I went to one of the few remaining Capital One branches in Shreveport (on Youree Drive). I wanted to close a checking account. I gave the bank officer, Daphnie, my drivers license and account information. I was directed to the waiting area. 30 minutes later a second bank officer, Monica, told me they were working on it. As I sat waiting, I saw each of the bank officers attend multiple other customers. I stood to get someone's attention. Monica returned and said they were working on it. I explained I could not wait longer. She took my office number and said she would call. I have not gotten a call. I have multiple other accounts at Capital One. I would like an explanation.

When I called in for a PIf I was given a dollar amount to PIF tryed to pay my walmart & quick silver acct in store . They had said that they could take payment in the store when I called in.

When I arrived in the store they try to except my payment, but the registers would not allow them to except my pmt because it was with a money order, so then I called both Capital One and walmart customer service to let them know that the payoff they gave me that day will probably accrue interest because the store would not accept my payment.

They told me to call them in 7 to 10 days to get intrest waved . So when I call in to have them waive the interest, they charge me for the payments being in the mail, they refused to do it..

A. Fitness failed to cancel my membership despite numerous requests & being told multiple times it would be done. Yet was I charged for 4 additional months. I disputed with Cap One and noted these charges were not authorized by me and the merchant was telling me it was cancelled but it was not.

Cap One denied the requests stating the charges were 'proven valid' by the merchant and that I needed to contact the merchant instead. Cap one was very unhelpful and offered no other avenues of recourse.

I and my family members have been a customer of yours for probably over twenty years using your money market account. A few years ago I found out that our accounts were not receiving the same interest rate as your new customers.

You told me I had to open a new 360 accounts in order to receive the higher interest rate. We did, and now this week, I have found out the same thing has happed again. 4%. Quite a difference!! Terrible experience. I had issues with wrongly charged on my Comenity BJ's account. I spoke to two supervisors (Nermina and Lashonda ID# VHZ371) , they have the power to treat customers as trash and hang up on them and you cannot escalate, so they can keep repeating their incorrect statements and decide to hang up on me.

I am not sure if they gave me the right information that I cannot escalate, if it is correct, it is not right as it is giving them a lot of power that they are abusing. If they are lying it is worse.

Either case it is a nightmare, unqualified supervisors to understand what the problem is, left alone resolving it.

Two tellers available and one is on the phone for an entire time while the line gets larger and larger. That leaves only one teller to attend to walk in customers and drive-in customers too. Each exchange takes about five minutes.

I opened an account over the phone in December, 2022. My Social Security number was entered incorrectly even though I had been namedon a joint account with my wife. I deposited $200,000.00 dollars in the new account. You accepted the money but immediately locked the account because the social security number was incorrect. Good evening. I would first like to say Capital One has been there for me in the past and I am VERY grateful for all their efforts. 00 stolen from my mailbox . I had been dealing with Western Union (money orders).

I received all my monies back except for Capital One . Western Union would not repay because the money order had been cashed. I got the letter from them in 12-2022. I called Capital One and explained my dilemma. I sent in ALL the document that was requested by Capital One.

I cancelled a card close to two years ago. The reason I canceled was I simply upgraded from a platinum secured to a Quick silver with a 10,000 dollar credit limit. But it never really got cancelled. They want drivers license, bank statement, proof of address and social security sent digitally via email. That is absolutely ridiculous.

So it’s harder to cancel a card than it is to receive one. And the rep on the phone was condescending and rude. I do not understand this and there is nothing anybody could say to me that would actually make me understand this.

I have previously used my card capital one on November 11, 2022 to pay my property tax amounting to 2,703 21 dollars but I cancelled my transaction because the merchant is charging me 60 dollars, instead i paid the merchant a personal check and the merchant cash the check. 21 dollars.

I applied for a $20,000 CD on 2/3/23. To fund it, Capital One linked with my checking account at another bank. On 2/9/23, CapOne withdrew $20,000 TWICE, opening two CD accounts and a third CD for 21cents. 21, which caused my account to be overdrawn and I had to get a loan to cover it!

Obviously a huge mistake on their part but they have refused to do anything until 2/23/23, saying the funds are “in process” and can’t be touched. After going up 4 levels, a manager finally agreed to not charge me the 3-mo interest penalty for “early withdrawal” of the second $20,000 CD - which I never asked to purchase in the first place.

I have been behind on my payment. Recent loss of work and the economy hasn’t helped. I try to get a hardship.

First I tried online with customer service. The online wouldn’t offer a hardship just a 3 month payment plan . Which was smaller but I still couldn’t afford. I have recently called them . On 3 occasions. They only want to offer me a 3 month set payment which I still can’t afford .

I have been a Capital One 360 customer for a year and a half. During that time, I have made check deposits on many occasions, totaling approximately $175,000, and ALWAYS maintain a balance of over $10,000.

When depositing checks, in EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE, I have been given $600 of the funds immediately, and the remainder the following business day.

Today, I deposited a business check, drawn on a Capital One 360 account, for approximately $4300, and upon deposit, was notified that the check would be held and unavailable for FIVE DAYS.

I contacted Customer Service to inquire about when my replacement cards had been mailed. The customer service agent (who barely spoke any English) took it upon herself to CANCEL my credit cards and reissue new ones. I told her that I did not want my cards canceled because my daughter was in Europe and that was her main source of funds.

She said "Sorry, I already canceled the cards". Now my daughter is halfway around the world without a way to pay for anything. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she was rude and not at all interested in doing anything to help me.

She just said "the cards have already been canceled and there's nothing that I can do about it. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever experienced in my life. I am moving all of my accounts immediately!

I have been a Capital one business customer for over 20 Years with never any issues until I purchased another business and they linked the accounts. 1 Day late on a payment and they shut both accounts off. My husband had a CitiBank Card. He passed away November 22, 2022, I called your office and they immediately closed the account. I tried to open a new account in my name. It was at this time I was told, I could not transfer the balance of his card to my new account.

Given my situation, I find this policy unreasonable.

Capital one 360 closed three of my checking accounts and savings accounts without warning. I was told they conducted an internal review of my accounts and decided to end the banking relationship without any cause given. I spoke to several representatives who also informed me that I would not be able to withdraw my funds until the investigation - of which i do not know what they are investigating - was completed. I was given no warning, no indication that I had done anything to warrant this issue.
