By far the worst company to do anything with , I wish I avoided them all together. The policy’s they follow are terrible. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ! My apr is 31% when it started at 21%. Credit limit for the last 2 years has been Nothing but $300.

I paid off my car loan. Capital One said it would be 5 business days. They violated the EIT agreement with Pennsylvania DMV. Today, which is day 5, Capital One told me that they won't be notifying the DMV until sometime next week.

They are a terrible corporation. I wrote the CEO and many of his co conspirators; however, NOONE ANSWERED ME.

Cap one closed my account, without notice, and removed all my rewards that I’ve been saving up. I received a letter in the mail telling me that my accounts were closed; I’d already figured it out from my app, but was given no options and no information on the app either.

When i called the number provided on the letter, they refused to restore the rewards while also refusing to allow me to speak to anyone else or offer me any options. I asked to apply my rewards to the balance and they refused to do even that.

This treatment is unethical and dishonest and is depressing. I have been saving rewards for over two years and kept my account up to date, addressed problems when they came up and kept my account in good standing. The person i spoke to, Logan employee # BJP931 was polite but…

their fuckin service sucks. you have to verify shit on a automated system, then you got to do it all again when someone comes on the line. in addition, they want you to scan your drivers license in. Not happening.

you have other means of verifiying. And of course, they have shitty customer service at that. you could be on hold for like 20min. i had an REI card and it got transferred over to Cap1 and they fuckin suck!!!

I got a secured card through Capital one, I am repairing my credit and was told this was a good move, it is not, my credit card history since having this card is perfect, my utilization is between 10 and 12%, my bill is paid on time mostly early, this has had no bearing what so ever on my credit score, the 1 time I did use 50% it was immediately reported and

my score tanked, I paid this off quickly, capital one has reported the same info to credit bureaus 2 months in a row, the exact same incorrect info, I have called, disputed this and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE, so all the adds about how a secured card will build credit is a farce an out and out lie,

I have owned the Quicksilver card with Capital One for many years. Around July 2022 I applied for the Savor One card with the intention of taking advantage of the $200 credit promotion if $500 was spent within 3 months of opening the account.

I planned to apply it to a big dental bill. I currently live in Portugal but since I have to leave a US address and phone number, I gave the info. c/o my brother who lives in PA. That address is also used for tax purposes.

I waited and waited and waited to receive the card after receiving an email that I had been approved. I had told Savor One that they needed to mail the card to Portugal. , apparently in July 2022. My brother never received the card.

Checked my credit score and saw it had decreased by 65 points because Capital One canceled my credit card because of lack of use. Never got the letter to correct this issue and Capital One also has my email on record and never contacted me through email after not getting any response about my card being cancelled for 3months after the letter was sent!!!

Won’t reinstate my card so my credit rating will return to previous high rating and they say that there is nothing that can be done. Vey poor customer service and very rude representatives on the phone. Won’t even attempt to correct this matter

Terrible customer service. This is the second instance of horrible customer service from Captial One. I was having an issue making a large purchase as my card kept getting declined so I called customer service. After 5 minutes of account verifications Juan tells me there is a hard limit on my debit card and transfers me to Mara who thinks this whole ordeal is just hilarious.

It sounded like she was at a party and I could barely understand her for all the giggling. I finally managed to make out the my limit was temporarily raised. I asked her if she found this funny and that I consider it serious business and she busted out in laughter.

I applied for Capital One Savor One credit card and got approval immediately. About 10 days later, the card was sent to me in the mail. Upon received it, I opened and inspected its usual paper work which related to term and conditions of Capital One.

most of it was not available to me. The $200 cash bonus offering to open the account was not there so was the 0% intro APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers. After the talk with the Supervisor of the Customer support to confirm what I have read in the offerings, I cancelled the card right on the spot.

The supervisor told me that what we read on the internet offerings are not necessary we will received them.

Why can’t I make payments with my personal checking account? I get restricted every few weeks. I only have a small credit limit so I make some type of payment each week when I get paid. Calling c/s or fraud prevention is worthless.

All they want to do is push the blame on to me when I’ve used the same account for years and my name is the only one on there. No thank you! I can rebuild my credit another way.

This company is the worse. Had exceptional service with the company until I tried to make a (credit) payment and instead of informing me that this isn’t optional they closed my account immediately and spiked up my apr and daily interest rates.

Reported false information to the credit agencies and blatantly lied to the agencies and the consumer protection agency. I had written letters stating the lies and still no remedy for the action they took. I finally pay off the Acct.

With a zero balance and they charge me with daily interest rates so I pay the amount they tell me and receive a refund check. Now I tell them I need written confirmation that the accounts is paid off and settled to not be liable for any other charges and they tell me that that’s something they can’t do.

I placed a block request on 1-6-23 and the money was still deducted from my account on the 18th and when I called that morning at 7:22 am I was told a block never occurred and I have to wait all the days etc for a block and a refund of my money not offering me a temp placement of my money in order for me not to have a nsf.

The agent whose name I am unable to get bc she keeps putting me on hold for a supervisor and picking up and transferring without giving me time to speak. Once I get a supervisor who never offered his name I get a robot reading of the same infor the original agent stated and all of a sudden nobody is on the line.

So I never get a call back from that person who verified my phone number to continue my conversation. This is unacceptable

Capital One Travel Booked my flight . The site states that whatever the airlines voucher or flight changes are it will abide by them. When I attempted to change the date or receive a voucher Capital One refused to do so.

I have repeatedly called both Capital One and the airline . The Airline, British Airways, offered a voucher but said I had to go through Capital One Travel , Capital One Travel refuses to give the voucher because it says British Airways does not give vouchers.

Can you please give me the agent of service for Capital One Travel in California . As I seem to have no other recourse.

Since the card was used towards a promotion of a vacation while being opened up through the Bass Pro Shops no minimum payment was given, no date of first payment was given, no texts, no email and nothing sent to the address of mine at 171 Riviera Circle , Weston FL 33326.

No one followed up from customer service. After a few weeks I myself called to inquire about the date of payment and minimum. By that time I was told that a $27 dollar late fee has been generated.

65. This was a duplicate payment. This should’ve been a red flag and I should’ve been notified before the amount was deducted from my bank account. When I noticed that a duplicate amount was charged, I called capital one visa on January 8 to see if they could electronically refund me the duplicate amount of payment.

I was told they could send a check for that same amount, but I would have to wait for the pending payment to be posted, so I needed to call back the next day. I called back on the ninth but my bank had not posted the payment. It was pending.

I been using the capitalone App for accessing my Quicksilver credit card account and my Capitalone360 bank account. I loggged on to Quicksilver account, everything was okay. Then went to log into 360 bank account. The verification code was entered.

The Capitalone app then returned to sign in page and then again asked for verification code, code was entered, The Capitalone App returned to sign in page again. I called Customer care. The representative said she would walk through the log in procees.

Capital One CLOSED my cc account due to inactivity! And sent me a letter in the mail apparently 3 MONTHS AGO ONE TIME! They can send me 300 emails a month about some marketing garbage trying to sell me more stuff, but NOT ABOUT CLOSING MY ACCOUNT?!!?

I want you to know what I have just been through with your fraud department. About 2 weeks ago i was making a charge of $160 for a visa application for my husband which was very important and the charged declined as some one in your fraud department thought it was fraud without ever contacting me to verify the charge.

When I checked to see if the charge went through and found it declined I was very upset but i used another credit card and they did contact me to be sure it was me and it went through without a hitch.

Secondly on Friday (1/13/23) I went to the travel agency to but flight tickets for my husband and myself to go on vacation. The charge was for $3700 and again this declined and again no attempt to verify that it was me.

Capital one has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They have people from another country talking the phone calls with thick accents. It’s hard understanding them so therefore I asked for an agent in the United States. On 3 different occasions they put me on hold and never transferred the call.

This is not a complaint but a desire to voice my appreciation about my experience with the customer service dept but more specifically the Fraud Dept Managers. My situation was very complicated and it took several different managers about a month and a half to successfully resolve.

I know you may be thinking well that doesn't sound like a five star rating, but it's not the length of time that I rated as 5 stars. I have paid over $15,000 in credit cards in one lump sum to Capital One on 3 different credit cards. Now, 2 of those credit cards have posted right away. The 3rd one I paid In full and it was taken out of my account but not posted.

I called 3 times to Capital one to talk to different people none of them could really speak English to address this issue. I was told we could verify this by phone through the auto mated service. But I could not find my access code so the rep said to call back.

I have been a Capital One customer for over ten years and have had great customer service until the past 14 months when a representative helped me set up $100. additional payment each month to pay off the balance transfer from another cc company.

At that rate, the balance from that promotional transfer would be $87 a year later when the promotion ended. Because I pay off the balance each month I had no reason to think that $100. Wasn’t going toward the transfer balance.

NOTHING in the statements each month reflected otherwise. Calling in January to make sure the balance was $87. as I’d expected turned into a two hour fiasco, speaking with 4 different very un-helpful “customer service” reps. who told me that my transfer balance was nearly $1000.

I have been havinc an issue with a replacement card. Suduprcted fraud was found, 3 weeks ago a new card was to be sent. It never came. When I call your customer service "specialist" I cna't be helped. I dom't know if it is due to poor english or just incomptent.

When I requested a supervisor the call was terminated, You have no email for customer service and you have an ask a question line that wants monet to ask a question. I have been a Sparks business account holder for many years.

My initial reaction was just to cancel the card ang go elsewhere, I have excellent credit. That doesn't allow you to handle clients in such a poor manner. I am extremely frustrated.

I disputed a claim due to transactions I made with an airline company. Everything was good until my return flight was suspended. I called the airline and was not able to help, or I paid a lot of money for my trip.

They took my money, and I was not able to take the flight. I contacted capital one and explained the situation. they told me that they will have to do an investigation and let me know later on. After the investigation, Capital one called me and said that the company took the money from my account, so after the investigation, everything look good but will put my account in negative because of the credit provided.

I am so disgusted with this company. I have spoken to 5 different people including Maggie "financial account supervisor" about my interest charge and no one would help me. I paid off my credit card in FULL $9,000 in November of 2022.

In December I was charged a $156 interest even after I spoke with someone who assured me I wouldn't receive any interest on this account any longer. Every representative I spoke with hung up on me after being of ZERO help to me, telling me this charge is from september and they refuse to remove it.

It's insane what you people do to people to make them suffer to get some help just to be hung up on multiple times. I will never EVER open an account with you again and I will be spreading the word to everyone and posting on all social media about what a scam this…

I had opened a dispute against Greyhound for a ticket I didn't receive or use. Capital One denied the claim and when I called to Speak to a Supervisor, (Jadle, employee #: 7102409) he was extremely rude from the beginning of the conversation, he didn't bother to ask me why I needed a supervisor he just proceeded to tell me why Capital One will not give me back my money. He stated Capital One is not a refund company and that I need to contact Greyhound...

Pathetic Customer Service. I did a balance transfer from Discover to them 14 days ago and discover said they never received a check, so my balance is reflecting the same at BOTH banks. I called Discover and they said since they didn't get it to call Capital One and get the check number.

Cap One says it takes 7 days to process... so i called back... the next agent said oh, it's 10-14 days. So i called back today, and suprise! it is now "15-21 days" for a check to process... they are so full of shit

Terrible customer service as I have never been late or missed a payment in multiple years in my loan. Now when I need an extension they keep telling me about a 10 day grace period instead of skipping a payment and pushing it to the end of the loan like other companies. I will never go through capital one again for a loan.
