00 annual fee against this check. Payment was made by mail from a title company on my behalf to my Capital One Line of Credit for $7,636. The title company could not stop payment because the credit card division cashed the check incorrectly.

The credit card department said the only other way to resolve the matter was to have the check mailed to me "after a waiting period and then up to 10 additional days for processing. " Both departments verified that the title company sent the statement with the correct account number and address.

However, neither department had a method to resolve the mistake made by Capital One. The individual with the Capital One Line of Credit assured me the matter would be fixed when I called on day one. Three days later, the issue was not resolved, and no one had…

I applied for a credit card and received it. I tried to activate it, and they said there was a hold on it. They asked me for a government you should ID card and I sent it they replied they could not see good picture clear enough so I sent the best picture again they said they could still not see a clear.

I told her that was the best picture I can get the original picture on the ID is not very clear as it is. I spoke with the supervisor of the fraud department. And she told me she needed me to send another one I told her that was the best I can do could not get her any clearer.

I was very frustrated and I'm still. so I told her to cancel the account and I will destroy the credit card. Pretty bad experience.

I am a credit card customer of Capital One. I recently made arrangements to pay my credit card bill in full. 00 balance to insure that everything was clear before I closing the account. 00 interest fee. I asked a 'supervisor' if this interest could be waived due to me paying the full amount.

00 even with a balance of zero. I am very disturbed by this. 00 interest fee. 00 after I pay the bill in full. Can u please assist me?

Also the 'supervisor' that I spoke with was not pleasant. She found my frustration amusing. Poor customer service for sure.

Hello, As of Friday 10/21/22 - I spoke with a supervisor by the name of Candice ID #yay564; w/Capital One out of Las Vegas NV, and could not answer my question regarding why she was unable to waive a late fee, over 1 day (12hrs) late payment . I am very displeased with my customer service experience.

I spoke with a representative advising that it was an oversight, and requested a late fee be waived as a one time courtesy, the rep couldn't authorize, so I proceeded to ask to speak with the supervisor. Candice said I wasn't eligible, and that there any factors to determine why the fee couldn't be waived, and that I simply would not be eligible.

When I attempted to make a deposit I was told the account is on hold and given a number to call which I did and left my info and was told I would be notified in 48 hrs. When I was contacted the rep could not give me a reason why the account was restricted.

I was told the account will be closed and money returned because they had done an internal audit and found the co to be too high risk. When I pressed for more info I was told on Sspt 29 someone attempted to cash an 11k check.

They weren’t able to give anymore info and I was instructed to file a police report. How bizarre is this. No explanation as to why or how I became high risk after 20+ years. Bizarre. I need someone to tell me why!!

I was charged $25 late fee when we paid online the 15th Sept due date is the 1st oct. Capitol one said its late. They won't credit me my money back. This is Robbing early paying customers. I need this rectified ASAP.

My quick silver capital one card was restricted, I complied with capital one fraud department, and screenshot my banking info and emailed it, yet the card is not usable still. I spent 28 minutes on 10/18/22 and capital one agent disconnected without notice by phone because they couldn't verify my bank card by phone within 10 minutes.

10/17/22, another 25 minutes same thing, finally I screenshot my bank account number emailed it to them and that takes 7 more days to verify, and I have Amazon refunds going back on my card! I was an hour late for work, two days no lunch at work because I use my capital one credit card!

I'm not going to get reimbursed for my time late at work or the unnecessary hassle they put me through.

Today I spoke to two separate supervisors who refuse to waive a late fee that was not my fault.

I never paid late and the bill never came, if so...I never received it.

However, I received a bill that included a late fee..I ask if they could waive it they said no because it was not their fault.

You make doing business with you so difficult and the representative made it worse. We followed your guidelines and made an appointment to open a savings/CD account for my father-in-law. We brought the appropriate POA paperwork to our appointment.

However, the representative was less interested in helping us. Instead, she said just go home and open the account online. Then you can submit the paperwork online. " Well I guess her time was to valuable to spend with us so we left. It was not easy.

We opened the account (and submitted the photo IDs and waited the 2 days for the reply). Once we received the acct created clearance we proceeded to log-in and add the rest of the information required and initiated a funds transfer.

The fraud department but a hold on my card. Leaving me in a terrible mess. I’m currently volunteering for Red Cross and in delayed to Florida for hurricane Ian. They have asked for 3 types of info to prove who I am I could only provide two due to me being in Florida.

I said what I had, and apparently it’s not good enough. Due to the car being cut off, I had to sleep in a gas station overnight, I cannot renew my Rent-A-Car. I cannot buy food. I am waiting for somebody to pick me up from Red Cross I’m 80 years old and stuck in Florida because of your policies.

I've been depositing my payroll check through their mobile banking tool in the app since January 2022. Once in a while, though it is the same type of check, from the same bank and is always available for verification they would put a hold on the check.

I would call they would release the funds immediately. " and that it is impossible to release the funds. As I said I've been having this issue and it was never a problem beyond my calling until today. 00 deposit is a threat somehow I have to figure out how I'm going to work in the morning and feed my family until they decide it's safe for them to release my money.

I called to dispute charges on my account. I was threatened repeatedly with my account being thoroughly documented and her Kimberly # ZTY 626 hanging up me. I asked to speak to another representative since it seemed we were not a good fit for communication and was met with threats.

I have consistently paid my account. I am very disappointed with this companies customer service.

I was at the airport renting a car. I was short on the deposit by $46. Attempted to make a payment to increase my credit limit. Capital one would not allow me to make a payment due to another payment still processing.

Advised I was stranded at the airport and it was an emergency situation. All they offered was a credit line increase which would take 3 business days to complete. Highly dissatisfied with the customer service.

I am having difficulties disputing credit card charges due to the laziness and incompetent representatives within this department. For HOURS I have been on the phone with customer rep FJS853 and IKY390. Even after submitting the required information, I keep receiving denial letters claiming that I missed the requested information date.

After dealing with Capitol One bank since the North Fork buyout, with my personal and three business accounts, I have reached a decision to close them all. Yesterday, after waiting 17 minutes to make a deposit into my personal account, was refused due to my not having a Cap One debit card.

I carry balances of well over $550,000 in my accounts and am very disappointed in all the new policies and closures of Capitol One banks. There is no more talking to a manager that will take the time to listen to a problem or solve it.

There was some suspicious activity on my card so they suspended my card without informing me. For a week my card would get declined and I didn't know why. Only after calling them did they inform me that they cancelled the card. I had to request a new card. It needed to be shipped internationally and the representative said it would take 3-6 business days. After a week of waiting and still no card, I called again and was informed that it would actually take a month to ship. Had they told me the truth in the beginning, I would have had it sent to someone in the states and had them expedited ship it to my location.

Due to cancelling the card without telling the client and severely misleading them about the time to deliver a replacement, I am extremely disappointed in the company.

I have ben trying to open my first ever checking account as an incoming college freshman for about a week at this point. My first account got accepted but I was never able to finish the application through their faulty systems and Sri Lankan accents.

They then sent me to early warning services as if I had a had a bad banking history. I called them back to find out they had filed me under fraudulent activity even though I, nor my family have ever had an encounter with Capital One before.

They are still rejecting my applications and have told me that my credit is not up to par for their standards. I have never had any type of credit for them to even make this type of assumption. They also then told me to go to another banking company after the process of me previously just calling them.

This complaint concerns an application for a credit card which I made and the application ID is 1 0000151915036.

Immediately after completing the application process, online, I was advised that my application was denied and when I questioned the reason by telephone, I was told that I would receive a letter within 7 to 10 days with an explanation. That letter never arrived and when I called a second time, I was told that they would send out a second letter and I did receive a second letter dated July 26, 2022 but I didn’t receive that letter until August 16, 2022. I suspect that that letter was dated earlier than the actual date.

It is disappointing that I have to write to you regarding my experience with numerous customer services representatives, in regards to long communications regarding my account.

As I prepared to make an additional payment it was noted that my auto payment of $65 was taken on the due date. During my phone conversations with the representatives below, I was told that I was charged $29 because I was $1 short for my minimum payment. As a person who has valued my payment history of being on time and has paid off my balances on more than one occasion, I didn't feel that I would be refused the courtesy of a fee removal.

I ordered checks 3 weeks ago and they still have not arrived. When I spoke with someone at a "branch" (a Capital One cafe where they actually can't do any banking unless through an atm), they told me that if they hadn't arrived by a certain date to call and a new set would be expedited to me.

When I called regarding this, I was told that I have to wait another week before reporting them as not delivered. Even when that time comes, they said they still won't expedite them, but they "might" waive the fee for a new order. What stellar customer service.

You'd think that a bank would be understanding of time-sensitive financial issues.

Lost job due to covid, was a teacher and part time baggage handler for airlines, 70 year old senior wrote to Rick Fairbank numerous times too many to count. ,got hurt on the job and couldn't walk since March. I now have the fractured disks and tears in both elbows.

Dr gave home health care and get infusions weekly. I begged for five months more half reduced payments instead of $297, pay 150. I've increased my credit score in 9 months Capital one Auto CEO , president does not care.

Capital One Refinance did not disclose all the information regarding what happens to a person's GAP and Warranty. I was never at any point told that I would lose the GAP and Warranty, I have found out on my own when it's too late, and have I signed a contract with them.

I would have never gone with them if this information was disclosed. Just lies and tricky! I’m just disappointed in the level of u truthfulness. This is already starting with a bad experience!!
