I booked a flight through cheapoair from Armidale to Brisbane. Each time I tried to pay on several different cards it kept declining due to "commerce issues".
However, my flight was booked but unpaid. Having tried to call their number several times which would not connect I managed to get through on an alternative number to someone who said they would process my payment.
Firstly they told me since I had booked the payment had gone up which I said no it can not have gone up as I have the flight booked the payment just is pending. They agreed to the amount of 310 AUD that I had to pay and then processed my card telling me this would be the amount IN AUD as it was 230 USD.
I was then charged 390 AUD for the total of the one hour flight. I have emailed and requested for help and nothing so…

Hello, over the last few months I have spent hours going back and forth between Aer Lingus and CheapOAir. I have been trying to resolve an issue- which I have been told by CheapOAir is resolved after so many calls.

Information is not being divulged correctly and it is misleading to client's who are making bookings. When trying to talk with customer service it is pointless, they thro terms and conditions, but do not check there flaws in the relaying of there information and stealing people's money based on withholding pertinent information. 74 of ours for credit since our flights were cancelled by the airlines in August 2020. The Booking ID is 71071483. We already spent an hour with one customer service agnet, who just disconnected on us, and another hour with 3 different agents, with the 3rd agent saying that he would get us the refund.
Since then we spent hours on the phone trying to connect to your customer service and find out about the refund, but there has been no answer. Same with your chat bot. We have never experienced such bad service before and are upset about how difficult you are making it for us to receive a refund or use the money to purchase flight tickets.

I booked a trip before covid and CheapOair took advantage of that. They do not extend the credit they do not try to help at all. You hear excuses about their policy about their cheap flight that has no refund.

I want to reserve a ticket from COS to DFW on 3/25-3/28. I called American and their policy is that CheapOair will need to either refund the amount OR re-issue this amount. American Airlines have NOT added the additional fees that Norm quoted in the chat. I am furious and I am tired of repeating the facts multiple times since 2/7/22. So, to avoid further frustration, I will simply summarize that this arises from Booking #67194999 for a 10/16/21 flight, canceled on 9/19/21, due to Covid, with a credit from CoA for $1215.
This is detailed in a 9/19/21 memo, from CoA. Initially, the credit was to be applied to a mlater AAL flight, by 2/20/22. The deadline was further extended, orally, by CoA agents, on several occasions, to 3/31/22. But in an effort to apply this credit, on 2/7/22, CoA agents stated AAL would not recognize the credit.

Horrible Customer Service. I couldn't get in touch with ANY department for more than 2 hours on the phone while in line for check in at the YYZ airport.
My calls were being dropped again and again as I tried to rebook my flight at the airport 2 hours prior to scheduled departing time. I would never suggest them as a travel agency to fly international as they are not reliable and do not give you solutions to issues that ANY other agency or airline could answer and solve.

I recently purchased a ticket departing from JFK to land in GRU. My ticket was almost $1,400. Due to the uptake in COVID-19 I will be unable to board this flight.
However when I was going to reschedule my flight I was told that I would have to pay a fee of over $1000. When I purchased the ticket there was no information saying that I was not able to reschedule or cancel my flight.

Unfortunately Booked my tickets to India through Cheapoair, this was in Aug 2021 for a travel in Dec 2021, My onward and return flights were cancelled and rescheduled multiple times and every time Cheapoair used to claim that due to Covid the airline has cancelled or rescheduled my ticket. Now finally they have cancelled my return and are not providing an alternate ticket.
After multiple follow ups the best they are able to provide is 1600 CAD for a 9000 CAD return flight. My recommendation : Do not use Cheapoair. They will cancel your return ticket and put you in a position where you have to pay 10 times more and will ensure they do this with only a week left.
