I am a regular customer at Checkers Regent rd Sea Point,I would like to bring to your attention that you should employ more friendly and quality staff ,starting from managers (never available),supervisors no use of them,they are standing in a groups gathering ,chatting,doing nothing. Cashiers you have to ask all the time to use hand sanitizer and to wear in a proper way mask (to cover mouth and nose),they don't like to be told ,seems they don't know anything about covid19 pandemic and

My complaint is at Checkers address is 2929 18th Avenue in Rock Island, IL. I made a purchase on 6/28/21 at 12:00 noon. I didn't receive a receipt so I couldn't take the survey. I was checking the contents in my bag at the drive-thru window and a tall slender Black girl was rushing me.

She didn't wait on me. A Caucasian girl was courteous while she accepted my money and gave me change. I have a right to make sure what I ordered was in the bag. I repeated my request to have two large milkshakes put in a bag which has been done in the past yet the milkshakes were put in a tray which can fall in my car.

Some employees at the Rock Island Checkers need customer service training. I'm a Checkers regular but that may change after today. Your assistance in resolving this problem is appreciated.…

I went to checkers today 6/26/21 at 6:10pm on Roosevelt chicago,Ill. drive thru. I waited at speaker for 2 min nobody said anything so I drove around to window waited 5 min for car in front of me to get there food.

When I got to the window the girl said I told you to wait a min. But she did not, then she tells me i have to drive around and wait in line again. That is the worst customer service I have had in a very long time.

I will not be going back. They need to train there people better, the customer is the only reason they have a job.

Bought groceries at cherkers Secunda, after paying, the machine slip got stuck and they told us to wait while the machine restart. We've been waiting for more than 30mins for the slip, we are not allowed to leave or to even get a refund as we have already paid. Unacceptable and the people helping us don't seem to care at all.

The specials you have advertised on catalogue was not in store. 2L Sunfoil Oil x2 was R110. I paid R150. Then I noticed the SIR juice was not marked 2 for R50 which I avoided buying. It rather dissapointing to get home and find I over paid.

Today was my husband's birthday thought I should get him a cake at checkers hyper vanderbijlpark(Jan Van riebiek) got him his favourite vanilla and caramel i was very disappointed and upset as it tasted like it's been sitting there for ever it was dry and the icing was hard tasted super old non of my family members managed to finish their pieces including my husband, regreted ever wasting my R74,99 that ended in the trash.

Checkers staff and management at Checkers Fairbridge Mall are unprofessional and unhelpful. I went yesterday for the first time since they revamped the centre. I wanted to purchase a Clover 800g cheese which they had on special for R160 if u have the Xcard.

When items ran up the Cheddar cheese i saw that I was paying the normal price and not the special. They then inform me that the only cheese on special is the Gouda although the ticket special slip said all types of Clover cheese.

I was so fustrated and annoyed i left the store and wont buy there again. Disgusted customer.

Pest control not managed at Checkers Hyper Witbank Klipfontein. Cockroaches are becoming a serious problem, checked their pest control certificate , it was last done in 2018. Its worrying as fresh food is prepared there and I have found a couple in boxes especially cereal boxes.

I am not allowed to take a empty Checkers trolley into there Liquor shop to do my shopping, how the devil must I get a case of beer to the cashier? The reason I was given is that customers cause damages by knocking bottles from the shelves with the trolleys.

I am not allowed to leave a trolley at the grocery shops entrance and collect it again when I exit the shop. The reason I was given is that customers take the wrong trolleys on exit. Absolutely crap, why does Dischem not have the problem, please sent your managers for training at Dischem.

At DisChem the person at the door doing the sanitising of customers hand you a token on entrance which you present on exit again to collect your trolley. I just think that Checkers should get organised. Regards

I walked up to an empty window, they told me to wait a minute and they'd get my order.

Meanwhile, they were constantly helping the drive thru customers. After standing there for 15 minutes I walked away. I really feel as if these employees were prejudiced against me.

Hi, on the 22 of May 2021, me and my wife went to Eastgate Checkers Hyper, as we needed to buy few groceries and on our way to the till, my wife received a message from her cellphone, at that time we where about 20 meters away from the till point and after my wife responded to the message she recieved, she then pocketed her cell phone as we where close to the till, we paid for the few items we bought and

I went to Checkers on Friday looking for hairspray. I could find only one brand and thought maybe it's out of stock. I ask for help and the person explaint to me it's the only brand listed. After we left my daughter told me that 2 of the staff members discussing me at my back. She spoke Afrikaans. "Het jy gesien daai een moan oor hairspray. Nou kan sy seker nie haar hare doen nie" After that they laughed. I went back into the store and confronted her. I told her she is very unprofessional and can't laugh and discuss clients. I also mentioned it to the branch MANAGER. Her name is Shannon. The staff members name is: Dunae Paulse.

I just bought an areo sliced cake for R22.99 the sell by date is 17 05 2021 but the cake is dry the cream tastes expired the base is hard like a brick wall i couldn't even eat half of it .its not the first time buying something from the store and finding it dissatisfying as if its expired. Ordered food came back wrong, woman who took order acted like I was bothering her. She rolled her eyes and was rude when I didn't recievebstraws. Will never go back again. Rallies or checkers main street marionbohio. Really need to get Better quality people to work there.

I'm not one to complain about shops, I have just experienced disappointment as I bought some chicken drumsticks from checkers Hyper on 14th Ave, I shop there a lot, for my weekend away and then on arrival at Hartebeespoort the very next day to find the drumsticks rotten, before expiry date. I couldn't take it with back from Hartebeespoort and don't have my slip anymore.

Unfortunately I am forced to dignify my experience at Checkers Monument with a star, as I am unable to give a score equal to the effort by Checkers' staff, zero.

I was attempting to withdraw money from one of the tills, with one of the attendants assisting me. After my request, she went to, not one, but four other till attendants in order to assist her with my request. To my extreme disappointment, the four other "working" staff seemed to be treating their employment as a holiday, as none of them batted an eye or even attempted to assist her.

This has happened on three separate occasions. This behaviour is unsatisfactory.

On the date mentioned above I purchased a wilderer fynbos gin, strangely prices advertised differed from the price billed at the till. The wilderer frynbos was shelved with the wilderer double delight without any difference in pricing, surprisingly at the till I was told its R195 but on the shelf it was advertised if you have a checkers point card you get 25% off of which I had the card.

When I brought this to their attention the store manager was called and he refused in a very rude manner to admit to their mistake. I had to change to wilderer double for peace sake. Funny enough my brother bought the same product wilderer frynbos the previous day 21/04/21 at a discounted price they had to authorise for his to get discount that bring another issue of constancy to your business

I have absolutely had it with Checkers, mores specifically the Blubird branch. I dont think I have EVER shopped there without having to then stand at the refunds desk because an item has rung up at the till at more than the marked price.

And on two occasions while I was standing there I met the same man who said he always checks his slip because 9 times out of 10 there is an over ring. He also said he wondered if it was deliberate and used as a way of making extra profit.

Is that really what you want your customers to think!!! On several occasions, if it is only a Rand or two, I have decided just to leave it as I dont always have the time to fill in the forn, wait for a manager etc etc.

I'm a regular shopper at Platinum Square Checkers. This is to put on record the terrible unacceptable and bullying behaviour of the trolley guards that wear the Grey uniform appointed by Checkers I believe. If i as a customer politely refuse trolley assistance i have on 5 occasions including on my grocery trip today encountered such rude behaviour. I can positively identify one of the trolley guards that almost stalks me to help push the trolley and I refuse. It's as if we customers HAVE to just give in to the bullying behaviour of the trolley guards or we have to face their nasty snarky comments in public!!!.

Today another guy did the same and made rude and bullying comments in public when i refused his help.

We as customers are there to buy our groceries and that's all. Now we must…

I bought oxtail on Friday the 2 April 2021 at waterfall corner but it was spoilt. The expiry date was the 6/4/2021 on the packaging. I tried cooking it on the same day, 2 April, however the smell was just foul.

Sunday Times Lifestyle dd 21-3-21 rated your Traditional Hot cross buns at no 2 I bought them from Checkers Sandown - pic attached There was not one raisin or fruit of any kind in any of the 12 buns! Not one had any icing & very little spice! They seemed undercooked with a horrid aftertaste!

I live behind Checkers in Kathu, Northern Cape. The alarm linked to the water tanks behind goes off 5 to 6 times every day and night. This alarm is not linked to a control centre and we as the residents need to call the managers who do not respond when we call. The alarm cannot be heard in the shop and is really disturbing. We work for the mine and as you may know mine workers work shifts. This disturbing sound wakes us up we call the managers on our own expense for the past few years that checkers has been build in Kathu. Something needs to be done in this regard as this is unacceptable. Please feel free to call me because this needs to be resolved.

Good day. I had an unpleasant shopping experiance at Checkers Glenvista today.

Firstly three of the items I wished to purchase did not reflect the prices so I did not purchase them.

Secondly, the queues were long with a lot of the tills closed. After standing in a long queue, the till next to me was opened and a lot of the people behind me went to that till. I feel that a system should be put in place that someone then regulates this and asks the people who have been standing in the queue longer be allowed to go to the newly opened till first.

Thirdly, I put four of my own shopping bags on the counter together with my Checkers card which the teller swiped. Later on the packer asked me if I needed more bags and I counted three that she had packed.

I said that I had put down four bags…

I am very disgusted by the behavior of male workers at Checkers Retail Park in Boksburg. I have never felt so humiliated and disrespected. The male at the store has no respect for female customers at all. This afternoon I went to the store with my 12years old son to purchase his stationary and the two male who were busy packing stationary kept on looking at me and making sexual comments right in the presences of my son.

I work literally 2 minutes from this checkers location in Orange City, FL. Today at lunch I pulled in to the establishment, there was a line for the drive through so I parked and went to the walk up window in front.

There were 2 gentlemen in front of me and their order was taken after which point the boy working the front window stuck his head out and told me that he'd be right with me. I stood outside for 10 minutes in the blazing sun being chased by a bee waiting for him to come back to take my order.

Meanwhile the cars are rolling through the drive thru picking up their food and this guy is not coming back to take my order. I got frustrated so I went back to my car and got in the drive thru.

Hiermee wil ek my dank betuig aan KORSTEN KRIEL van Checkers Queenswoodtak op 30 Desember 2019. Hy het uitstekende diens gelewer tydens my soektog na 'n Grondwaaier. On collection 1. my platters was not ready i had to wait,they got the order wrong 2. the meat***** was swopped for 'wors' (not even bite size,long pieces and absolutely horrible) 3. the white cheese on the cheese platters was tasteless.

On the 7th of Dec 2019, I went to checkers in my break to buy something to eat. I stood at the bakery for a while. The staff at the bakery kept on helping all other customers except myself .

I went to a manager and told him the situation and he wanted me to go to the bakery with him, but my time was finished as I was waiting for bad service. I have been doing my shopping g at checkers for a long time and I am a loyal customer at checkers richardsbay for 2 years now.

I feel this is totally unacceptable.

Pathetic Service at Food Court and Tills. Always way to little till operators and extremely slow. Express tills have only 1,maybe 2 cashiers and slow,slow and slow.

Also most of the time very bad smell in the store coming from the back area. You need your management to step up or step out. It is season time and this pathetic service will give George a bad name

good day, last night myself and my daughter was doing shopping at your shop in Hartbeespoort. She picked a packet of chicken on the shelf and we carried on to look for a sauce close by. I keep on having this smell and start to investigate.

The chicken was staring to go green in the sealed packaging. I asked the butchery manager what is the problem where he informed me very straight that this is not his problem and that is it. I did mentioned this to the shop Manager and would like to be informed about the outcome because this is the reason why the shop is stinking and the people are complaining on social media about it.

I went to Checkers Windermere today (3/10/2019) to enquire from the Manager whose name is Desigan Govender whether I could return a dinner set given to me from my students recently as a gift. I have a similar dinner set and enquired from Desigan whether I could get a credit voucher or purchase something else from Checkers to that value.

Checkers fourways mall, is advertising items for R99, but at the till you will be charged R399. Manager admitted that the price was advertised for R99 but blamed checkers stock take staff for covering up the R3 in the R399 with a checkers label. This is against the consumer protection act. I went to go purchase some stuff at Checkers Gordonsbay, while standing in the que to pay for my groceries, there was a commotion outside the store, suddenly the cashier, security staff as well as the lady at the money market ran outside to where the commotion was coming from, ignoring customers standing in the que. I felt like leaving my groceries and leave.

When I told the cashier that their conduct was out of line, she told me that it's a public holiday. I then tried to report it to a duty manager, but to no avail. This was the most horrible experience I ever had in a retail store.

I will never go there again. Staff extremely unprofessional and disregarding customers. I will definitely take my business somewhere else.

Checkers in Kroonstad. Raised many complaints but no service delivery is happening. Managers are nota available on the floor to have their hand on the service. The express till is never in used and there is really a need for it.

Its is a public holiday and rhe quies are long and if you have less than 10 items it is a big frustration. There was not even one container of ice cream in the freezers and only suger free coke. No regular coke.
