Chevy sold me a remote start after purchasing my equinox and I loved it. Live in Arizona and with 115 degree it’s nice to get car started from inside my office. App was working fine until last month. Chevy decided to remove it unless I pay for o star. What a scam.

Customer lied to me for over an hour and then disconnected the phone call with no interest in looking into the matter.

Gm/Chevy vehicles have a serious problem with the brake power assist booster. There is written documents about it yet it is the best kept secret by them. Even the 3 dealerships that I contacted refused any information. This problem could lead to a life or death situation.

I took my 2017 Silverado LTZ to my mechanic to have the problem solved. Chevrolet is refusing to reimburse me for the repair even though it is a national problem. I have a customer complaint filed with gm. The case# is sr9-7658833155. What can I do?

Dear Chevrolet,

My car was hit at the official dealer service. I wasn't in the car. The dealership workers hit the front wing and bumper while parking my car. I just came in for an oil change. The car I got in replacement was not even remotely an equal replacement and got overheated as soon as I got out of the rental shop. This is an enormous inconvenience for me as I require my car at this moment for interviews and meetings. Just to be clear, it was a new Camaro 2021 which I got this year, and they replaced it with an old Elantra which can't go above 30 MPH without overheating. I demand compensation and a better replacement while my car is being fixed. Otherwise, I will have to go to court.

We bought a Used Chevy Cruze in Oct of 2021. In December of 2021, the car was making pinging/ticking noise and the Turbo kept losing power. It is still very unsafe to drive. I've had in the shop 4x's and they didn't know how to fix it.

00 and they kept giving me the car back and telling me that they had no idea what was wrong with it. I do have the Extended Warranty on it, the highest plan. But that was all messed up too.

I couldn't even drive my kids in it, cause the Turbo kept losing power. After all of that, we took it back to where we bought it, and put the car in their laps to fix. Once again I had to pay the deducible of $250 and $333 for them to remove the valve cover.

The Extended Warranty Company wouldn't pay for those two things. They had my car for 14 days, and it's still not…

I had an issue with my radio, and was told it was a software issue that the radio's software needed to be updated. On May 6, I took it to the JBA Chevrolet located in Glen Burnie, MD, and left it there for service (diagnostic and hopefully software update).

I received a call back and was told the radio rejected the update, and I needed a whole new radio system for almost $700, which I was not able to afford, so I declined the service. It is now May 17 and I have not had any issue with my radio.

I think the service department was trying to scam me and make me pay for something I don't actually need. I am not happy at all with the service I received, and don't know what can be done about it, but would like something done.

I got just the front rotors and brakes replaced. It cost almost 1600 bucks. This should be no more then 800 bucks. Thus is highway robbery and I feel cheated. I have called 3 different mechanics and they were around 800.

I was told 1072 at first and parts would have been here Tuesday. I then received a call Tuesday and Wednesday that the parts aren't here so vehicle is not ready. Finally on Thursday (6 days later) the car was ready. Then told 1900, then they said they made mistakes after I questioned it and then informed me almost 1600. There is no reason there should be a 100% mark up.

2019 Chevy Silverado tailgate removal is ridiculous hard. Unhooking wiring harness and unhooking plastic connectors to frame underneath the house took me one hour just so I can get some sand loaded in my truck safely. Unbelievable. This is my eighth Chevrolet truck and by far horrible experience.

Frank porth Chevrolet-Crivitz ran a scam by negotiating higher prices on vehicles for free lifetime oil changes. He ran this scam promised lifetime oil changes until the day he sold the dealership. that is fraud I think promised oil changes never expecting to deliver. :the state of wi.

Took my 2015 Chevy Equinox to Ardmore Pa service dept for check engine light P0411 On wed Apr 20 2022, Steve Martino. 5999 called me Thurs 328pm saying it was ready. Save yourself a nightmare and not order a vehicle from Chevrolet! I was prepared for a delay because of the chip shortage but it goes ways beyond that. They claim the car has been built for months and “in transit” but nobody at Chevy or GM can track down the reason for the hold up.

Even after a bbb complaint the resolution person that contacted me seems flabbergasted at her inability to get any update on the vehicle. Reading other complaints online it seems many many others are experiencing the same. Never again will I deal with this company.

I’m trying to buy a Corvette in Florida at New Symrna Beach and the dealer is marking up prices $30,000 above MSRP. Additionally, dealers are titling cars, putting a few miles on them and then selling them as used in order to get banks to finance the inflated cost. Very shady business practices and it makes me uncomfortable buying anything from Chevrolet while they permit this shady business practice.

We purchased a gm certified vehicle. It had bad shocks all around at 40,000 miles one shock is not even an oem shock. I fought with these people to get two front shocks. Emailed their corporate headquarters. They promptly forwarded my email.

I got two shocks then charged me to change my oil when a free service was supposed to be included. Now with the two back shocks shot. ” I purchased the platinum warranty that exclusively said covered shocks and struts.

My vehicle went haywire 5 days ago. Electronics on dash went out and radio . 220 miles from home. Vehicle has been there 4 days . Can not get a return call from service. Drove it home on a Sunday night after checking lights and signals. Hair raising event.

They call me and tell me they can't work on it because it's a hybrid car I need to send to another dealership and they want me to pay to have it shipped to the other dealership I told them they need to have it delivered I'm not paying that tell me to bad.

Purchased 2013 Avalanche in June of 2019. being I was recently widowed. 3 months after check engine light comes on p0521 code came up they supposedly fixed it and 3 months later again same code again the fixed it supposedly.

It continues bto happen ever 3/4 months same code. No relief just bs told to me. So here I sit a widow no support and now because the bumper to bumper warranty I paid for has run out they refuse to help.

Good afternoon. My partner sold/traded his truck to Chevrolet for a truck that was at that location. We went to this location because it was the only one that had this truck. Ran the numbers & decided to go through & buy it.

The employee went to bring it & it was gone. Apparently since it’s a demo truck the “owner” takes it for personal use. They showed me a similar truck to get a feel of what it looks like. We knew we wanted it so we continued with the paperwork.

He contacted the owner to let him know to bring it in because it’s been sold & he said he was leaving for the weekend & he’d have it back on Monday. It’s Monday now & the employee said be here by 3 it’ll be washed & ready to go.

This company sold me a lemon on December 2021 and they knew the truck was leaking oil. Now they want me to commit fruad with them by using gap and it was there full responsibility to fix car for free.

The dealership wrecked my car while it was in there facility for service. They had the car for over 3 months to repair it. Got the car back after paying for mechanical repairs they said it needed and it broke down the first time driving it leaving my daughter stranded in a snow storm .

The body work they did to repair the damage they caused was horrible the front bumper is separated and falling off. I called to let them know the situation and my frustration and the service manager Todd wright tells me I needed to just shut up and listen to him.

My father received a letter ( see attachment) from his Chevrolet representative that clearly goes against GM policy of raising the MSRP for the new C8 Z06 corvette. The message from GM North America President Steve Carlisle, clearly stated that this type of unethical sales practice is frowned upon, so I feel that it needs to be addressed immediately.

I took it upon myself to call Alvin Olson, GM of Variable Operations, that sent the letter to my father to find out exactly what was going on, and was told that yes, they are selling the new Z06’s above MSRP, and the reason why is because they are pricing these vehicles in line with the market and dealerships.

I recently went in to the local Chevrolet dealership. I had went to their website the night before. I found a vehicle that I liked and clicked on the capital one link to get pre-approved. I received emails showing I was pre-approved/ qualified for a 2022 GMC Terrain.

I went to the dealership the next morning after 8:00am. I spoke to a young salesman and showed him the emails. He said that vehicle was not on the lot. And he went on with information and I told him about what I could and couldn’t do.

So I bought a 2005 chevy silverado z71 It had brake and steering issue, the air bag and service engine ligjt was on to replace the fuel filter.

However the service tech said that they do not work on vehicles with more than 150k miles. The truck had 212k miles. Is this is true that the dealer want repair any vehicle with more than 150k miles. If this is true how do I service the air bag and change the fuel filterto pass emission inspection in Ga.

We bough a used truck last year. We made less than 8 payment on said 2017 1500 Work Truck and the transmission went out on a trip out of state. Prior to the warranty going out on said truck, we took it into Strosnider's because the transmission was shifting funny and the transmission fluid was gray.

The dealership drove the truck and said they did not find anything wrong with it. They did not check the fluid or anything, just said they could not duplicate the problem and to bring it back if it did it again.

We were close to the warranty going out, so they did nothing. We lost $13,000 on this truck when we had to trade it in because it could not be driven. We spoke to the dealership and they said, "well there is nothing we can do because I trust the mechanic that looked at the truck".

Thurs. 1/20/22 @ 10:10am. 3L for a cyl. #4 misfire. I told service tech. that I had swapped plug, coil pack, plug wire, and injector with cylinder #2. Each time resetting code. And each time the misfire was still on cyl. #4.

I purchased a 2015 Tahoe LT (CPO Vehicle) from Tarheel Chevrolet in March of 2018. It had 56,148 miles on it at time of purchase. It currently has 67,000 miles. Early in December 2021 it started skipping and making a "clicking" noise.

I took it to Tarheel and found out the lifters were bad. They quoted me $4375 to repair. I have also found out that this is a common occurrence with Chevrolet Tahoes and am wondering why a recall hasn't been made.

About 9 months ago my radio in my 2014 Chevy Camaro started acting weird, almost possessed. It started by cutting in and out, noise and face. Then gradually it would just blink on and off (unable to control it by the power button) Now it just blinks and vibrates while the car is on or off.

It actually killed my original battery. If my car sits longer than a day,the battery dies, just replaced in September of 2021. Its been checked, connections and all, the battery is fine its the radio draining it. I own a 2015 Chevy Equinox. July 2020 a headlight went out. I had it repaired and by their recommendation had both done. To the tune of $500. Jump forward to December 2021, another headlight goes out. I called Executive Chevrolet and was told that the Warrenty was only 1 year.

I would now be responsible for full charge of bulb replacement. I thought this to be unfair and was told someone would call me. Well, no one called! 2 days passed, no one called. I contacted a local auto body repair shop and they accessed the repair and completed it in less then half an hour.

And more then half the price! I have had all the Equinox repairs done at this dealership. Now I question why I should continue to do this

3 2021 and need warranty work done. I live in Charlottesville Virginia and took it to Gim Price. They said I need a belt and new idle pulley. I scheduled a time and they sent me back home with it without fixing the problem.

They told me they would call me to come back and get repairs but it has been 2 weeks since then and my truck sounds like it's going to fall apart. I called to see what's going on but they said they would call me back and after 3 days have not called back.

The service department failed inspection. They had inspected vehicle the year before. Window tint was on the windshield. I had a Doctors exemption from the state . The papers were correct and the sticker was in the back window. I paid for them to fail it.
