Virtual voice should not ask for PIN number. This is extremely dangerous. Many hackers are smarter than web page engineer. Citibank, for security purposes, should use a different system in order to transfer one to a live agent. Example: secret questions or any other.

I have been disputing unauthorized transactions on my checking account since December 10 2020. These transactions were made with a debit card I cancelled 3 to 5 years ago. Some of the transactions have been resolved.

However, the largest transactions haven't. I have been disputing the unresolved unauthorized transaction again since February. Everytime I call the dispute department I have been given the runaround. They told me they blocked my account for 48 hours and it’s been a week and they still have it blocked. My husband and I received a PPP loan for our busknessss in that account and now we are having to close our businesses because they have blocked us from our own money.

2021, I went to my local Citibank located on 702 Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203 to have a document notarized. After a few minutes of waiting on line to see the Citibank teller that notarizes documents, his colleague sitting adjacent to him tells me that he is not notarizing because his stamp expired.

2021 and the same employee notarized a document for me. When he got up from his chair and walked away to do something, I stopped him and asked if he is not notarizing today. His response was, "my stamp expired". I said, "What? Wait.

" He responded, "I notarized for you yesterday? No I didn't notarize all this week," as he proceeded back to his chair. I can only guess that he lied because he did not want to be bothered. I am uncertain.

It took over a week to get my money transferred out of my savings account and Citibank had no legitimate reasons for why they withheld it for so long. Their process for verification of accounts is unreasonable and the 5 representatives I spoke to over 3 days and over 4 hours of my time all had different explanations. Citibank’s system is horrible.

They’ll take your money into their accounts but then they won’t let you take it out without giving up your first born child. It’s a bunch of BS.

Banked with citi then they closed my account without letting me know. I have missed not 1 but now another stimulus payment. After 4 hours talking with customer service yesterday they talked me in to opening a new account and linking the old one to guarantee my stimulus being deposited Wednesday wouldn’t be missed.

Then I am transferred to a supervisor who is rude, hard to understand and there were dogs barking to in the background and when I asked if I could speak to someone else he told me no said something not nice things and hung up on me. They kept telling me to contact the irs well I already did that’s why I knew it was being deposited and the guy told me it was my “stupid” fault the account was no longer open.

Many times I have registered online complaint to block and deactivate the credit card and close the account for lifetime. But After many complaints I am prompted to do payment of Rs1228 which I am unable to pay. As I am not using that card from last couple of years and lost the card. So I wanted to deactivated and close the account forever. I always feel some officers doing irresponsible for my case. they are not doing the right thing.

I got a charge declined on my credit card and talked to a few reps from the fraud department. They were not able to give me the reason for the decline. They were blaming it on the system. I am a citibank credit card customer for many years and also have the costco citibank card in addition to the citibank mastercard. If I keep getting declined, how can I use the citibank credit card anywhere without the inner fear of it being declined for no fault of mine. Even if the merchant could be on the fraud radar, it should not show as declined but should display some other message. Decline affects the customer not the merchant no matter how bad the merchant is.

Citibank does not protect its credit card customers against fraudulent merchants. I recently filed a few credit disputes with overwhelming evidence that the charge was fraudulent and each time Citibank refused to credit back my money and protect its loyal customer.

On the other hand I NEVER have this problem with AMEX and that is why they have the best customer service and feel safe spending with AMEX card. I am going to cut up both my it credit cards as not worth the poor customer service.

AVOID this company whenever possible even when they dangle a promotional carrot in your face!

I had a bill pay transaction that had the wrong location address for a vendor. It had been cashed so I needed proof it had cleared to the vendor. I called some time ago to resolve the issue. Then, a few days ago, I received 3 identical letters from Citibank referring to the transaction in question.

The only difference between the 3 letters was a reference number (10703,10722, and 10736) and each had 3 different dates (3/1/20, 5/16/20, and6/25/20 respectively). " None of the letters had a copy of the check. So, I called your "800" number I found on your website.

After going through your rather complicated menu, I finally got someone whose primary language was in English. He spoke rather softly, so I had to keep asking…

I am a new customer as of March. I was offered a balance transfer check that expired on July 20 2020. I deposited the check made out to me on July 17 2020 check # 1066. Your company dishonored the offer and retracted the deposit two days(July 22) after the already met deadline and caused my bank account go negative.

Trying to close mother's account since 2019. She went into full nursing care July 2019. I have been trying to close her account, as her POA and now executor. She passed away April 12, 2020. Her balance was sent to a collection agency. 54.

Question, when I was told her account was closed the nursing home sends me all these statements with charges for fees that should have NEVER been on her account. I am furious over the incompetence of some of the people that I have talked too.

When I got an email that I could view my Costco Citibank statement, I went ahead and paid the full amount as I do every month. Apparently the statement didn’t close till midnight and the card was used for a very small amount before closing.

I then receive a late fee that is more than the amount that did not get covered. So I was penalized for paying the bill early, not knowing the closing date for that statement. We have been a customer for quite some time with no late fees, I would expect a better answer from your customer service department.

The 12th of June I dropped a letter at Mountain View CA Post Office. 11 to be paid to Bank of America. The check was cashed/deposited on June 14th, Bank of America did not receive it. , requesting a copy of the deposited check.

Instead I got a letter from Citibank Client Services requiring me to file an affidavit declaring the name of the endorser of the check fraudulent. As the check is in possession of Citibank I'm unable to fulfil this requirement. I wrote again, and received an outlandish letter that they can't satisfy my request to open a checking account, which I didn't ask being a Citi customer from the last century.

00 membership fee renewal and I called to ask if the fee could be waived this time, due to the financial situation I am going thru during the Corona Virus emergency. Fist agent said NO and that I had to pay the renewal and then wait 90 days for it to be refunded if I closed the account.

In the back of the Statement it said that I could avoid paying the renewal fee if I informed Citi of non-renewal when the statement was received, which I was doing. I escalate the issue to a supervisor and almost the same result.

I made a money transfer mistake, of which I explained to multiple customer service people over the phone. I accidentally sent 2 identical transfers one after the other for the same amounts. The 1st one was fine but the 2nd mistaken transfer force overdraft protection to kick in along with a fee of 10 for that protection.

To prevent this I called yesterday explaining this for the first time attempting to stop this transfer as soon as I found out this was happening. The person said they’d put in stop payment ticket but then disconnected the call.

I called right back, got seemingly the say person because we just picked up where we left off. Today I called back to follow up, to my surprise the call was marked as disconnected and there was not a stop payment request made.

The customer service department hung up repeatedly, transferred call 5 different times, wanted to re-confirm all verifying information each time. Customer service was not able to see the transaction we were calling in for. The charge was for a magazine on a card that was all ready closed.

Terrible service- Citi-bank used to be a company I would use for all financing purposes and now they use overseas operations which are asking for our sensitive information, IE: Social security numbers, date of Births, phone numbers without confirming they have our information. On June 9, 2020, I opened a Citigold Interest Checking account #42029018761 and a Citi Savings Account #42029018779. The packet with the signature card was mailed to my address on 1135 Hampton Court, San Dimas, CA 91773 and the 2-page signature card info was sent on June 16. My wife had an IRA account with Citi Personal Wealth Management. They were charging a totally unreasonable maintenance fee of $75/annum. She decided to close her account a couple of days ago and we notice that in addition to the termination fee of $95, they have charged a maintenance fee of $75.

If at all they want to charge maintenance, it should be prorated for the year.

I was expecting to use my citi visa for an upcoming medical procedure, and wanted to give you a heads up because it would be out of my usual spending profile. I have used this card for a year and a half and have had no issues.

I also have another visa that I have had for 30+ years with a 35K limit. As I said I wanted to use citi, but I would also need to up my credit limit with you to handle this procedure up coming in two weeks.

I tried to get someone in cs, but had to deal with the voice computer, which got me to a point where I was not granted a credit limit increase.

I have worked hard to be responsible with my bills and earned great credit. I had a Citi Thank You Preferred card with a credit limit of approximately $11,000. Due to the recent crisis with COVID and unemployment, I (as well as many others) have been using my credit cards more than usual because I have been out of work for 2 months; however, I have not missed a payment, made a late payment, or requested deferred payments.

I was shocked yesterday to open my statement and find that Citibank had STOLEN most of that credit I had earned by reducing my credit limit to a point where I now have $52 of available credit with a $6000 balance on the card. This is repulsive, disturbing, cruel and downright thievery.

I use Citibank credit card for my business and purchase broadway show tickets using the card. Due to the pandemic the theaters have refunded my credit card. Currently I have $39000 refunded to my card. I called and asked to have the refund transferred to my checking account so I can refund my customers.

I was told no problem 3-5 days. A week later no refund so I called. I was told due to the amount it will take 7-10 days. I waited 2 weeks. Now I have been going back and forth with citbank telling me they need manager approval.

This has been going on much too long. I really need the refund. I have been working with a manager April who makes promises but nothing is being resolved.

I have had a Citi Preferred card going on 5+ years. I cancelled my card in 2019 with a balance of about ~$16,000, I always made payments on time via my online portal. My online account was cancelled in January 2020 without any notification or reason.

Since January, I have attempted to resolve this issue and re-activate my account several times with no success. This company lost our first cashiers check in October for over $4500 that was from an escrow account. They charged me late fees and accrued interest even after our escrow company finally had to send them ANOTHER check this time UPS. FF to March.

I had Simplicity card I opened with them (before the first mess) to consolidate cards in a 0% interest card. 47 that we know they recieved because it was verified delivered through USPS. They recieved this on March 20th 2020.

Today is April 16 and they have yet to apply my payment. Our personal bank won't cancel the check for 50 days???? and it seems a whole lot like Fraud to me. and from our fantastic title company who is backing up the claim with proof of our experience with them October 2019.

The problem with the unit is it has extractor water that is supposed to spray separately from the steam function if so desired, and the vacumn sucks up the steam moisture along with the extractor water. I just switched to this bank and i've been experiencing problem after problem with their service.I was told my account was now inactive after calling to verify my account. On Tuesday, February 26, 2020, I requested my credit union to wire $15,000 to a Citibank Bank (routing number: 266086554) at 16101 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida, 33027. To date the money has not been posted to the account (No: 9147374029) and Citibank claims they never received the money.

When we returned the car to Avis, we examined the car (car walk-around) found no damage and asked for a receipt of acceptance but the Avis rep refused to give us any receipt for the car (we had 3 witnesses).
