My credit card was blocked by the fraud department for no reason. It took several calls but finally I was told it was unblocked and good to use. I tried at a restaurant. Declined. No reason given. I called customer service.

They denied having received the charge. Said it must be the terminal. I tried for a different charge at another place. Same result. Same response when I called customer service. Try it somewhere else.

I deposited a check from my company today. It is usually direct deposited but today i was isued a live check. I don't understand why it would take 3 days for my funds to be available but when my company direct deposits it, the funds are available right away.

This is not good at all especially when most people live paycheck to paycheck. I have rent due tomorrow. If i had known it would take 3 days to clear, i would have went to Walmart to cash my check.

I shouldn't have to go elsewhere to cash my check. This is just unacceptable. Not a happy customer with this bank.

Horrible customer service. Always puts a locko n my account even after I verified transactions. Today was the final straw. I called IN ADVANCE to ensure I could go through transactions with Ticketmaster. I waited a year for this. Called to ensure my credit card did not have a block or was going to be declined.

I was assured this was ok to proceed. Yet, when I went thru the transaction - it was declined and denied 5x after I filled in my credit card info. ). They seemed to not care - after having a business relationship with Citi - I have chosen to part ways as I do not have this issue with any other credit card.

This bank has put me through HELL trying to open and deposit to a savings account so I can take advantage of their Aadvantage miles savings account promotion. I applied on Dec 4, 2022, 2 ½ months ago and I still won't get my debit card so I can make a deposit for at least another week.

Since December, they have 4 times sent me notices by mail and 2 debit cards to the WRONG address. My account identifies a mailing address and a physical address. They keep mailing to my physical address where there is no mail delivery so I don’t receive the cards or notices. Meanwhile. I have not been able to take advantage of this promotion since I first applied in early December and I have spent HOURS simply trying to resolve the debit card delivery issue.

I've had my Citibank checking/savings account for over a decade. I recently cancelled the Zelle application with Citibank however a deposit in the amount of $250 was deposited into my Zelle account after I removed my credentials. I believe there is an employee (that may know me or someone close to me) abusing their authority/power to access my account since September 2019.

I also believe their may be a duplicate or dummy account with the name Katina Vasquez. Hopefully this is something that can be looked into and resolved if in fact my concerns are correct.

I deposited a check during the weekend. citi bank. They are telling me it wont be available to me till the 7th. I got my car pay payment past due and rent due. I need my funds now. That is why I bank with them to get my money right away.

00 bonus for opening a checking account with a $ 50,000 deposit. Terms included how long it had to be there, etc. I complied with ALL the terms but Citibank DID NOT deposit $700 into my account. 3 customer service people have verified that I complied, yet customer service in the Philippines is impotent in getting the problem fixed.

They talk about a "back office" and some board reviewing the problem. Having been promised the money would be there by Jan 1, 2023 (even though the terms would have it there before 1-1-2023), it still is not there as of Jan. 30, 2023!!!!

The way I see it Citibank has STOLEN $700 from me. Customer "Service" is a joke. " The Promo Code on the offer was 4KNUHN72GH.

When opening an accelerated savings account a beneficiary was added. In further checking months later there were no beneficiearies on any of our accounts. After a month of sending certified mail with notarized forms for this to be added it has now been a week and none are listed on iyr accounts.

Our next step is to drive 5 1/2 hours to the nearest branch location with my disabled terminallt ill husband.

I set up automatic payments a year ago, however they recently changed platforms and DID NOT SEND OUT NOTIFICATIONS advising its clients that they would need to set up payments again on their accounts. I started getting notices that my car note had not been paid.

When I contacted Citibank in December, they told me the problem was on the other banking institutions end. I asked to speak to a supervisor however was kept on hold and after 35 minutes- no checking in, no thank you for holding we are still waiting for a supervisor NOTHING- I hung up.

I have no doubt it was done intentionally I ended up making the payments over the phone to avoid further late charges. Now the payment is do again and of course, transfer did NOT go through. When I call Citibank today I am told for the FIRST time…

I keep receiving these calls on my phone. I finally answered and I was talking to the lady. She hung up on me mid sentence. very rude, even among enemies.

Then, I called back, and took 15 minutes for the operator to understand my numbers - had to keep repeating.

Your service is terrible. Keep the jobs in the USA.

I want to upfront indicate that the staff at my branch are first rate in every way, and my complaint instead is with Citibank’s procedures for purchasing a CD with monies already in my Citibank Money Market Trust Account. and three separate trips to the bank to get signatures from both me and my wife, and finally a final trip to transfer the money.

I know no other bank that would require such a process when all the pieces of the transaction were already available to them. I think Citibank should review these procedures lest, they lose customers, like: me in the future.

I have two accounts one of which is checking the other a money market. I have made transfers and used my atm card. They despite this placed my account inactive and have denied my access. I used the debit card June 2022 and thats not considered activity by Citi apparently.

I now have to go get a notarized statement mail it off to Tx in order to regain access to my funds.

I had to account with Citibank to call the representative about transferring money from my old account into my new account. The representative did not inform me if I did that they would had put my two accounts together at this time.

They are closing my account due to fraud that I never put onto my new account, the representatives of Citibank are the worst. None of them speak good English. They messed up your account and said they would not take the blame for it.

I was in the bank (Citi) 1/9 @ 4:38pm to make a withrawl. There was a new teller training & he asked for my ID twice. He gave it to me the 1st time but not the 2nd. I realized this on Thursday evening and was not worried about it until I arrived Fri.

and the bank said they didn't have it. I know he didn't give it back to me because I always keep it with my ATM card & never use it for anything else. The mgr. refused to look at the tapes of the exact time it was handed to them a couple days earlier.

I think that this is absurd and will file a police report today. I need to go over his head to get back my license/ only picture ID!!!!

Citi bank fraud prevention department is terrible. They blocked my account. I’m trying to resolve a problem with them for several weeks already. Their representatives often speak very poor English and do not understand the information given. Every representative give a different directions, which appears to be wrong every time.

When I ask to speak with their supervisor, they promise a call within 48 hours, but nobody calls back. They keep my money hostage, I don’t have access to my account and my money! Absolutely terrible!

I have been a customer over 25 years and I am beyond upset at the treatment and service I have been receiving. Your call center and robot answering system is beyond frustrating and to date I have spent over 20 hours to get resolution but still don't have it. This is a in regard to fraud on my CITI ADVANTAGE card and overdraft because of the fraud on my checking account. Twice someone illegally opened an account at Citibank with my name and social security number and funds illegally withdrawn from my account. It has been nearly impossible to reach anyone in their "incident reporting unit" to get more information about how this is happening.

Despite putting in a formal request with a copy of FRCA 609e, they have released no information as to how the account was opened, where the money was sent etc. I still don't know if I need a new driver's license, passport etc.

In addition I still am getting random debit cards that I have not requested from banks I have never heard of. After speaking to dozens of Citibank employees I have to assume their protocol is to lie and distract: "our supervisor will call you".

Perhaps they are themselves committing the fraud…

Lost my card, got fraudulent charges, was told that I was going to have a card in 24-48 hrs and it's going on 48. No card, no tracking number, nobody in customer service or corporate gives a shit. They don't care that I have no cc and refuse to find out whether FED EX has it. Nobody takes checks anymore.

I NEED HELP RESOLVING A DISPUTE , I have called Citibank dispute department numerous times since 11/29/22. I have yet been successful in resolving my disute. I made a purchase, contacted the compnay to cancel my purchase the same day.

They did refund my money. But, my bank of 40 years failed to credit my account because of a new debit card number. During the processing of my refund, I had to get a new debit card. I was told by the dispute department that the fact I got a new card is the reason why my refund did not hit my account.

Seriously, My new card is linked to the same checking account as the old card I made the purchase with.. I need help by talking with someone here in the united states and who can speak english so I can understand and they can understand me.

At approximately 10:45am on 1/7/23 I called 877-528-0990 and asked for copies of checks that had been deposited to our small business account following a year end fund drive. An error had occurred on our end, and a record of these deposits had not been retained.

And, as it is so important for us to thank our contributors, we sought their contact information and a record of the amount they contributed. It must be stated up front that "Peter", the customer service representative handling the matter, was very polite and helpful.

However, he indicated that there would be a $5 per check fee, which we feel is excessive. In addition, when we inquired as to receiving the copies by email, we were informed that Citibank is incapable of providing the copies by any means other than USPS.

After waiting for more than half an hour, i managed to get through customer service officer. I was attended by an officer named Pam( which she pronounced) at about 10.25pm.

She was unhelpful and not knowledgeable to assist me and refused to pass my call to someone else. I had an illegal transaction on my credit card account of about SG55.98. I sent an IRA application package, via FedEx, to Citibank. It was received Nov 22, 2022 and I heard nothing from them for weeks.

I called their 800-number and the overseas agents knew nothing about my application.

On Dec 20, 2022, I told a supervisor that I have lost all trust and ordered him to withdraw my application and return my application forms. I did the same in two emails, requiring return receipt. I only received on return receipt.

On Dec 27th, I received a letter, dated Dec 21, 2022, that said I needed to sign a W-9 form. It turns out, the instructions on the W-9 say that a signature is not necessary for an IRA application.

To date (Jan 4, 2023), I have not heard or received anything from Citibank.

I have had my Best Buy account for 2 years and my promotional balance started at about $2200.

First I can’t even pull up a statement from before March 2021 and it started in Nov of the prior year. Deferral interest on this 2 year promo for $2200 comes up to almost $1400 when my remaining balance for only 1650 roughly???

How is it that I’m getting charged 75% or more interest on this credit card?!! This sounds like sketchy business and when average amount of interest I was getting charged was roughly $43 after a months I was getting charged $100 in interest.

For the last two months, Citibank has been questioning the monthly Zelle transfers I make to my kids, now the check we wrote for property tax, and other transactions - ALL without any request from me to change the security levels on my accounts. Today they began blocking the Zelles, giving me a phone # to call, then disconnected my log-in to my account completely and would not let me sign in with my valid password and ID for ten minutes.

After verifying my Zelle transfer was valid, it was still cancelled and I was told to reissue it. This takes totally unnecessary time.

Citibank issued a fraud alert on my credit card. They have issued lots of fraud alerts on my account. They were always wrong, no fraud. The call center has run out of ways to verify me. Yes, you read that right.

Now only way I can get card to work again is wait for them to mail me a code (not email , usps mailman will bring it within 10 days. Most of my automated bills are connected to my card.

So they not gonna pay my bill. This is disgusting. I called and answered all security questions and the only way to fix this is a code thru Smail Mail. Fire whoever came up with this idea. This is actually total bullshit.

The biggest mistake of my life was becoming a Citibank customer.

I had a problem with my Quicken download last month and as a result missed my payment date by a few days. I was charged $30 .When I called to request a waiver, I was told that this could not be done since I had had a similar waiver 11 1/2 months ago.

I would like to contact somebody in senior management to let them know that as a result of this unreasonable policy [when compared to other high-quality credit card companies], I will now be diverting many thousands of dollars per year from this card to one of my other cards.

Somebody in authority should know that this policy has consequences.

Citi repeaedly places false fees and/or interest charges on my credit card account. Citi Customer Service and Citi Fraud dept. agree these charges are not due. Citibank Credit Card Customer Service uses an off-shore portal and the employees and are not trained. They read a script like a robot and can't comprehend client answers. Their verification process seems to me to be archaic and non functional.

Each step more bizarre that the first. The problem never gets resolved unless you ask for a supervisor. Then if you are able to locate a supervisor the problem does get resolved. It takes a lot more time and effort than it should.

When I called their custom service, their customer service personnel Maritina behaved very unprofessionally: won't explain and answer to customers' questions, instead of behaving like a trained robot, just repeating what sounds like they are trained as a machine, can't explain like a human being, which is very frustrating! Since arriving in the US and opening a Citi account ten days ago, my debit card has been blocked 4 times (!) and you are unable to de lack through your verification system (having provided you with my three mobile numbers - US / UK and PT.

You simply cut the call and leave genuine customers stranded - atrocious.

My debit card was used fraudulently. I was notified by text from Citibank and responded immediately. I was informed that my fraudulently used card would be voided and I would receive a new debit card by FedEx the next day. It never came.

Three days later when i called. I was told a new card had not yet been sent despite having been assured the day before that it had been sent. I am still spending time unable to access my checking account to pay bills electronically or obtain cash to go shopping.

Today, I was assured it would arrive tomorrow, but it had not been ordered or sent as of 4 PM CST on 11/21/2022 after my initial call on 11/18/2022. Opened CITI checking account number 116321 40296 on August 1, 2022.

Funded with wire transfer of $31,500 on 08/17/2022. Made several inquiries as to why advertised new account bonus of $500 on $30000 deposit of new money not credited. I fully complied with all your requirements. I trust that neither your corporation is not falsely advertising to attract new deposits, nor that procedures were not fully followed.

I actually loved you guys but what you did was unacceptable and I will bring you to court for that matter . They restricted my account for no reason at all . I live in NJ I took to the train to go to NY since this is where I found a branch .

The manager at the bank called customer service they said they could not help me I had to wait in the mail for a letter with a reference number then they will be able to unblock it. They printed my statements to make sure everything was correct I responded yes ALL THOSE TRANSACTIONS WERE MADE BY ME .

I waited 7-10 business days for a letter it came on the 10 th day smh . I called customer service I provided the reference number now they said oh I no longer can have an account it will be close they will mail me a check in 2 months like what ???

Citibank has the worst customer service. Once I brought up an internal error they refused to make correct error over the phone and are making me go to a local brach. Who can I speak to in order to get further assistance?
