A couple of months ago, I was subject to a phishing attack on my Citibank accounts, which include checking and savings. I asked to have my accounts frozen to prevent any unauthorized withdrawals. The Fraud Dept. froze it. I am now trying to unfreeze it to access my money - and I've been hung up on FIVE TIMES by the department that is supposed to unblock the account.

I opened a new checking account in March 2022 and have been unable to learn why my account was blocked. I have been in contact with numerous representative at Citibank who have been unable or unwilling to provide details concerning this block.

This is outrageous conduct that is not support by any tangible information. I cant access my funds and this is unreasonable interference with my funds. Send me formal document via email or letter to support your reasoning.

I opened exactly the same accounts for my husband and myself.

Also, i suggested to some of my friends to do the same. All of them received bonuses except me. I have contacted customer support several times (have screenshots of our conversations) and i was told to wait, bonus will be appeared on your account soon.

I got completely diff message after last discussion with bank. Looks like i have to fill out w9 form, mail it to the office and some team will make a final decision on my bonus. How strange is it?

My husband and I opened exactly the same but separate saving accounts in Citi to get bonuses after the specified period of time. My husband got the bonus, but I didn't. I have contacted bank in the beginning of July 22 and was told that I have to wait till July 24th which is deadline to see the bonus on my account and for sure I will see it on my account.

Since the bonus haven't appeared I contacted customer support one more time and they told me "As i checked the timeline is completed.

However no need to worry let me a promotional dispute for your case" Last time i have contacted support time on July 30th i was told that I'm eligible for the bonus but since my account is not w9 certified i have to complete the form and mail it to the bank.

Citibank took $1,000 from me and won’t refund my funds back they took it out of my Zelle account that was linked to Citibank they have done nothing but lied to me and sent me a bogus debit card that couldn’t be activated then they said it was in my savings account then they said I was overdrawn on a unpaid check. Unpaid check they said well if it was unpaid then why am I overdrawn and they keep my funds

I am an American doctor living in a remote area of the Philippines and I have been trying to send myself a wire transfer from my Citibank account for over a month and every time I get to the last step I get a message saying the transaction can not go through either for security or technical issues even though I have submitted all the correct information and codes.

Some of my patients have died because of not getting the needed medicines! I call Citibank customer service continually at great cost and inconvenience to me and no one seems to be able to solve or figure out why this is occurring and I am also regularly locked out of access to my account!

If I was in the states, I would certainly change banks!

You have an outdated Fraud Prevention policies for user validation process. It disregards the customer experience, inconvenience. Your process does not make any sense to me where you make a customer wait for 7 days using UPS mail service to validate me?

Your policy expects customer to have a secondary phone number to validate? Why? This sounds ridiculous. Where-as your competitor has smarter way to validate me within 5 minutes. Does this make you feel proud or embarrassing? At least I feel embarrassing to hold your card.

I am going to take my business somewhere else once my card gets unblocked which will take 7 business days.

Wished I could give a 0.... Worst bank ever!!!!!! opened an account excepted funds and on the 3 deposit decided to close the account down for fraud!!! even though it came for a another major bank! they ahem been holding funds fore 28 days and still have not closed and send the money!!!

S. no 564577388 Up to the year 2007, I got from your good Bank Statement and Letters Now when I come to Citibank in the Los Angeles branch, I was surprised to know that my account is closed and the Money has been told, transferred to the California state controller office.

Mobile app access doesn’t allow me to log in. Called several times to speak to the tech dept and to the fraud department and my issue doesn’t get resolve they keep transferring to different reps. No feedback from citi regarding my issue.

No call back really considering changing banks. It seems like no one wants to assist, almost two months with the same issue

Drive 120 miles just to go to a Costco to return a ring that was 2 weeks old. This ring was wearing awfully. The only reason I got this card through Citibank was because they didn’t accept discover. I went to repurchase the same ring in hopes that it wouldn’t wear only to be declined.

They put a hold on my account and the only way to “verify” me was through the mail. Again, I stated I was 120 miles away and that I traveled to get the ring exchanged. There was no other way to authorize me, even though the person before authorized me through a text to my mobile device.

I will no longer be going through this company. Discover has never made stuff this difficult.

Citi credit card have been mismanagement my accounts.. They're posting charges that I have paid 3 times the same amount. I have 2 credit cards with Citi bank and they're misplacing my payments from one account to the other. I have a Sears Reward card and Home depot credit card from. Citi Bank.

Both accounts are posting charges that was paid or never made. They're committed Fraud.

I went to a branch to open an IRA, trustee to trustee transfer of a 401k. Met with someone in wealth management, gave all my info. Was told I would be contacted in a few days. Wasn’t! Two weeks later, I contacted the branch and was told, again I would be contacted in a few days after a weak apology for the delay.

Two weeks later I emailed the branch and told them I would somewhere else with my request. I got no response from the branch. I went to another citi branch and was told they don’t open IRA’s in branch and explained to me how to get the forms online.

This took place between 06/07 to 07/13. 00 it was worth on 07/13. Every branch has a different story. Where do you get your staff, clown school? I thought wealth management was to help maintain my money? Maybe some higher up at…

I have a Citibank ceding card last gig it’s 1591. In the past 4 - 6 weeks my card has been blocked when I tried to purchase gift cards or when traveling. Yesterday I called BEFORE I tried to purchase a $400 gift card.

Rep said thanks and there would be no problem. Of course the charge was denied. Why have a card you can’t use without being embarrassed

I experienced fraud. I tried to discuss this with 5 separate representatives. None of them spoke English without extreme accents and I could not understand what they were saying.

A stressful situation was made even mote stressful by agents that did not have the skills to do their jobs. I was on the phone for 2 hours and finally was able to file a fraud claim.

I was not able to open a new account because the agent said that was not within the things that he can do.

43 so I went to Citibank at University Drive in Tamarac. The gentleman told me to call the bank because he does not have access to my account. So I called you up but you didn't find anything and you told me to go to Old Navy.

I went to Old Navy and the first thing the supervisor did was to call you! this time she was lucky to deal with somebody that was professional and found out that the money went to ma Freedom CC! I opened my account and within a week, they closed it and wont explain to me what I did wrong to have it closed. All I was told was, your account is being closed, you will receive a letter , have a good day and hung up on me. I tried calling back and asking them why, but no one would tell me, they kept sending me to different lines. I have money in my account and they are saying it will take 30 to 60 days to get it.

Recently discovered a query from Citi card on my credit report for a card I did not own. Contacted customer support and spoke to 3 different agents after asking to speak to supervisors. Their "solution" after confirming I had no account with them was that it was my responsibility to contact all 3 credit bureaus to report the error.

This seemed absurd as they obviously reported it to begin with. Why was I cleaning up their mess? I asked continually for a US based supervisor and continued to protest. I was hung up on.

i got a promotional email from Citibank which indicated $700 bonus if $50,000 new deposit for 3 months. I opened a checking account on April 29, 2022. I didn't receive the account number for a while. In our area, no Citibank branch.

When I called Citi customer service, asked me bank card last 4 digit but I didn't get the debit card so asked to send it. More than 10days waited, I called customer service again, Citi staff told me Citi sent it.

I said I haven't received it yet and requested to send it.

Finally, I got the card but it took time to get a pin number. On May 19, 2022. We tried to transfer money from another online banking. We called customer service and technical service several times. Every time, it took one hour or so.

I have file a dispute for $3500 taken from my account, customer service indicated that my bank card they do not recognize it was mailed to me. There is a block on the account and I am being told it will be forty five days before I will hear anything from your dispute department.

I sent information to customer relations and I have bills to pay.

I cannot reach anyone at City Bank or city card that can help me I want to cancel a savings account that I have with the back. I have two credit cards and that is all I have I do not have a debit or ATM card which are required for any conversation with the bank it is me frustrating to me that I cannot close the savings account without going through all these generations this is poor service

Opened new account online, citi customer service confirmed if mobile check deposit was made funds would be a available immediately. After deposit funds were not available immediately. I called and was told 3-5 days. Then later that day, my account was locked. Received no notification.

I called and noone seems to know why my account is locked. Im told call fraud next day. I call fraud next day im told we are fraud but the person that can help not here til monday. And hangs up the phone.

This is not fair treatment. The check deposited is my employers check which is also a citi bank customer.

They closed my account and then cashed a $1100 check that was suppose to go into my account. They told me that check was fraudulent. Closed my account. Days later, CITIBANK CASHED it and won’t return my funds to me.

They won’t even talk to me on the phone. My legal representative called and they wouldn’t talk to her either. The only FRAUDULENT activity was on CIRIBANKS part!!

I just need help resetting my password for my online app. The first person I called gave me the number for the credit card department and told me they could help. The next person told me I needed to speak with someone in the online support department and that they could help me.

I spoke with someone in the online support department and she said I had the wrong department and gave me THE EXACT SAME NUMBER I HAD JUST CALLED and said that department would help me. Each time my wait has gotten longer, I've been on the phone for over two hours.

No one has helped me and if I can ever get this taken care of I'm going to cancel my card and take the credit hit because this has been absolutely terrible to deal with!!!

On January 12th 2022 I received a text message from Citibank asking if I had authorized a withdrawal of $1. I responded that I had not and I immediately got another text asking me to call their fraud dept. I made the call and they informed me of possible fraudulent activity on my account and that they would have to block the account immediately.

The block would be for 90 days then it would be closed permanently. They also said that due to this fraudulent activity, they would be closing all of my Citibank accounts including a credit card I have had for over 20 years.

The fraud department at Citibank closed my account over false information that they provided when none of it was true and when I told them that it was me the whole time on the account but they wanted me to send in paperwork for identity theft and copy of a police report after they closed my account over a transaction that I personally made when I sent cash to my cash app card and

I have been a customer since 2018 and just recently found out that citibank lowered my credit card limit. They sent an email to let me know but never sent a letter to let me know why. I have called but was told to expect a letter.

To this date I still have not gotten. I tried to get the limit raised back up but was told that I have to wait till November. I not not happy with Citibank. I have made all payments due to being on auto pay so that cannot be the reason.

They lured me in with a promo. I put 10K in there. The next day they closed my account for suspicion of fraud. It's been 4 months and I haven't seen my money. Over 40 hours on with customer service and they all say (as if reading off of a cue card) that they cannot give me any information and then hang up on me! Wow, just wow.

I've been having trouble accessing my business account online. This has been going on for 3 years. They lie. When I ask to be transferred to the US they disconnect. They do not report the problem. There is a person I end up speaking to whose name is Angie. She is the most insulting, patronizing person who does not listen. She claims I'm the only one who has this problem. She denies that I'm having a problem. This last time I spent 4 hours trying to get into my business account.

We opened a promotional checking account in January and were told that within 60 days we would receive $750 and the the money could be withdrawn by May.. The interest has NEVER shown up in our account and I was told by someone on May 19th that I would have to wit until JULY t receive the money and close the account.

This sounds like fraud and that we were lied to. I sent a letter to corporate but I am really frustrated and feel totally misled.

I deposited a check for $7k which had my last name before I was married. My account has my married name. The check was accepted and I used some of the money to put a down payment on a car.

The next day, they decided since the names didnt match up, they would return my check, leaving me in a significant overdraft. When I went to the branch to inquire about the check they couldnt give me any information. After 3 days of calling and calling, I finally learned that they sent the check via regular postal service with no tracking number or security. $7000!

I was told that if the check is over $5k they overnight it. This did not happen. It is a Friday and I am now going into Memorial day weekend (a long holiday weekend) with no money and no way to know if my check is safe and on its way to me.…
