Recently open an account for my business and another personal use. Received an email to change my password within 20 days. Call your customer services and were advise that I have to go to a branch. When visited branch on 1201 N.

Central in Glendale CA, I asked for help and Amy Sepetjyan came forward to help. After trying to repeatedly convince me that I have to do it online, she asked me to insert my ATM card in the reader and told me to go home and follow they email instructions that I'll be receiving by the time I get home.

Got home and waited 45 mins and did not received an email, returned to the bank and told her that I've no email. Her response: O, maybe you'll get it in the mail. I said that you made me to go home and back due to the fact that you don't know, caused me to lock me…

I was away from my primary residence for a funeral and using a different computer. I logged in and tried to pull up a statement for my credit credit to eventually make a payment. I then received a window saying I needed to get a code and Citi was going to call my phone. The number it was using was a landline at my home. I picked the option "I rather call in my code". I call the 866 number listed and the person asked for my debit card. I told her I wanted a code to get to my credit card statement. She transferred me to another phone and they hung up on me.

It took over a year to finally access someone at Citibank who could actually tell me where to find an PPP/SBA Loan forgiveness application- not online, nor on phone, nor in person at local Citibank branches. Everyone was either ignorant or obfuscation.

Finally, in early September 3021 I spoke to a Citibank rep who I played phone tag with for several more weeks because no one had a direct lune. Every time U returned a call, there was a voice messsfe referring applicants back to a computer loop.

I did finally fill out an online application and , after a Citibank technical computer failure , finally Docusigned the loan forgiveness application. Tge app was submitted and on October 6 th U was notified tgat tge loan forgiveness was accepted in total.

Fine, except on October 4 th Vitibank…

50. 50. At this point I don't really care anymore I just would like my $300 deposit fee back that I put down to open the account I was told that I would receive my check in 21 days of the account being closed the account was closed September 15, 2021 to date is October 7, 2021 which makes 21 days I called Citi Bank to inquire about my refund I was told that a check was never put inside the system to be released I was also told by a supervisor name Ren ID number HG 2001 that Citi Bank didn't even have a Complaint Unit or a Complaint number.

This is very unacceptable You should never treat your customers this way

I’m writing about account # 42029341932 this account was closed because of an internet scam. I thought I was getting alone online from cash central, but the check that they deposited was no good. I contacted citi bank because I could not get any money out of my account.

Citi bank told me my account would be closed and a investigation would take place. No one has contacted me this happened on august 29 2021. I tried to open a checking account at another bank and was told I couldn’t .

Citi bank reported this to chexsystems which states my account has fraudulent activity. I am the victim fraud not the perpetrator. Could someone please look into this matter. Thank you Gina Keith

I have applied twice for the Citibank Shell Mastercard. I have been declined 2 times for no credit history which is crazy. There is no option to call and speak to a rep on this application. I have had excellent credit for years.

I have had mortgages and HELOC since 1996. My credit score is 804. I have the Citibank Advantage card since 2008 and have excellent established credit already. All I want on the Shell Master Card is a 500 limit enough to buy gas and get the $30 cents a gallon discount.

Please have someone call me at 828-337-8628. I will close my Citibank Advantage Mastercard if we can't resolve this.

I made an online wire transfer for$1,900 on 9/4/2021 from my account ending 6474 to my account with ADCB in UAE. Til now I did not receive the funds. I called customer service on 9/13/2021 and I was told the transfer was held by the sanctions investigations Dept.

I was asked to send a copy of my passport which I did. But no action was taken. I have been calling every week since but still the funds did not reach the destination. I live in UAE after my retirement.

My Citibank accounts in NY have been blocked since early Sept 21. I still have no clue as to why these were blocked nor how to get them unblocked. To date - and in-spite of many phone calls & much correspondence, and requests to discuss with compliance dept. - No progress.

Absolutely disgusted by Citibank. I receive 3 letters in the mail explaining that they are closing all my accounts after being a customer for 15 years. I have spent the last 4 hours of my day calling Citibank only to be put on hold and transferred to 5 different people all of were 100% incompetent and unable to help other than reading from a pathetic script. I was directed to go into a branch which I did and they also said they can’t help me. I went back home, spent another 1.5 hours calling only to be told that I need to go into a bank to speak to them.

I closed my CC account after they reduced my limit to $500 from $5000. They did this as they said my credit changed, it did not. They closed it as I paid it off in full and they are making a habit of this due to the projected recession.

Anyway, I have paid this account off three times now. They keep adding interest and fees. I ask everytime if this includes pay off and they say yes. These people are just dishonest con-men and should be removed from banking.

As a Priority customer of over 20yrs, I am disappointed in their inability to support their customers or back the services they provide. I have trying to resolve a Zelle dispute for the past month. I have been hung-up on, denied the details of the investigation and told to work directly with another bank and Zelle directly. On each call I learn that the previous person I worked with captured no details of our conversations and that they simply don't care to help me.

There is simply 0 confidence in this organization managing my money anymore, if they cannot provide simple information on an investigation they claim to have completed.

Called three weeks ago about my account was told I would get a letter in the mail with a confirmation number to call back when it was received. Still have not received this letter. Called again today told the same thing now I have to wait another ten days.

Lady said they can’t do anything until I get this letter and will not tell me anything. What the hell is going on with this bank? Asked her to return money to my clients was told can’t do anything until I get this letter.

Maybe I just have to go higher up on the chain of command in order to correct this or at least get an answer.

My daughter opened an account with Citibank and without any reason they just closed her account. The customer service was horrible! When we wanted to speak with a supervisor they refused to transfer the call and said that they all are busy.

When we asked why this account was closed after we opened it 5 days ago they didn’t want to explain anything they said they can’t give us a details about it. This is the first time we see bank account hat don’t want to keep money.

00 was hand delivered to the Usps within there facility on 9/1/21. So it is some where in your system I will dispute any late charge you apply. I have never had problems like this with (you people). I am seriously considering closing this account.

As soon as you people send me the bill, it is payed. I find you people unprofessional and I think that your service is lousy. Why is it only your company that this happens with. None of my other accounts I have,have this CONSTANT issue.

Just you people month by month. I pay on time and way past my minimum due. But you still treat like a dead beat! Very unsatisfied. Customer !!!!!

CITIBANK. I have been trying to get my savings acct closed (a significant amount) for a month. They supposedly sent the check out 7 days after I requested the closure. They said it would take 15 business days for it to arrive.

Today, one month later, and calling and emailing daily, I told them I want the funds transferred to my USAA account. They told me they can't do that. The_ will stop pay the original check and they will reissue the check, but cannot send it FedEx, and it will take another 15 business days to get. Seriously!! And they wonder why I closed my account.

My husband passed away 3/12/21 and all I just inform you please watch out our acct. You closed my acct and repot to Ascension Point recovery service. I called Citicards to advise that I never received a prior statement and wished to pay my account in full. I asked if the finance charge and interest payment could be removed considering the circumstances (no bill was received) and since I always pay my entire balance on time. 38 interest fee!

If I could give my customer support experience 0 stars, I would. I called in about a late fee that had been posted to my account for my credit card in the total of $29. My closing date is on the 6th of the month and I had sent in my payment on the 3rd, but with the holiday weekend, my payment was not actually posted until the 7th.

Due to Labor Day, the money was already taken out of my account but wasn’t received until the following day. I explained this to the representative I spoke with, and they advised that absolutely nothing could be done on their end to accommodate the situation because I had a refund of a late fee the month prior for the same exact issue—my closing date always happens to land on a weekend.

This is an attempt to get some help with the Citi branch in San Rafael CA. I want to close the account of my dead husband who has designated this account under his name David N Cook, dba Warbeck Publishing.

He is the sole owner of this name, Warbeck Publishing, and there is no Warbeck Publishing since he is dead. Account number ending in 8997, SS Number ending in 3587. 1. Citibank closed my account and have refused sending me a check of the funds in the account before closure. I have made countless calls to them and they insist I send them a utility bill. I have told them countless that I live in University complex and don't pay any of those individually.

I sent them a notarized copy of proof of residence from my school, my paystub and credit card statement (all with my address). They have refused sending me my money.

I had a Citibank AA fee card for 33 yrs. About 20 yrs ago we moved to Trinidad & Tobago and did an address change. In May a recurring payment didn't go thru, I contacted the bank and found out the card was terminated in April, tho it was paid up till July 2021,due to foreign billing address, and a letter was mailed out.

To a foreign country, in a Pandemic, where the borders of Trinidad and many countries were closed. This letter has still not yet arrived but I did see it in a declined appeal for help from Customer Service, terminated due to foreign address, not due to issue with my credit worthiness .

I had an unexplained charge on my Amazon-Citi card. When I called to inquire about it at Citi Bank, I was told that my other authorized person had made the charge. What authorized person??? I am the only one on the account and I never loan my card to anyone.

00. Since that date, I have filed for bankruptcy and the Sheriff returned the check for the amount levied back to Citibank, as ordered by the court in the state of California. Citibank has received a notice to stop the levy and they also received the returned check from the sheriff and have done absolutely nothing to ensure that my funds are legally returned to me as lawfully ordered by the court.

I have called their banking centers multiple times and could never get anyone to help me. The staff are highly untrained on this matter and could not refer me to the correct department. I was hung up on, and even after asking to speak with a supervisor, her name is Miriam, she was of no help and continued to tell me to ask the Sheriff where my money was.

Made the mistake of signing up for one of their specials. Locked me out of my account. Tech support couldn't figure out how to restore access so they deleted my account and made me make a new one. Over a month now with no access.

A tech support supervisor was supposed to call me back in "2-3 hours". That was a month ago. Horrendous customer service, and inept tech support which is farmed out. Just a bunch of kids overseas reading from manuals. They can't actually fix any issues.

Well... where can I start? I wanted to refinance my home loan and I was turned-on to Citibank from a long distant friend. I applied in December 2020 to refinance. NOW, currently it's August 2021, and I STILL have NOT refinance yet. WTH!

Citicard customer service is non-existent after 6PM. Tried to put card on Samsung pay and they put a Fraud alert that prevents ANY usage including autopays until a letter through the Postal system is received in 4-7 business days. In the meantime my accounts are not being paid and I am incurring late fees.

I have had well over 50 cards in my lifetime and have never had this situation. The WORST card ever and I will close my account as soon as I acquire another card.

In order to prepare tax statements for prior years, it is very useful to have summaries of all payments to payees during the prior year. My Citibank Gold online account used to have this capability, but no longer does, due to a corporate decision, according to their helpdesk.

The Citibank recommended solution to my need is to print out all my monthly statements for 2020, and manually add up all the payments to specific payees. If this sounds like a complete waste of time, it is.

Furthermore, Citibank has no direct avenue for customer complaints, or way to address customer needs (also according to their helpdesk). The only solution I can see is to find a better bank.

I was told my secured payment of $1,000 would be refunded to me with 12 months.. called into customer service and was told 18 months.. after 18 months I was told now its 24 months.. all payments made on time never had a balance move over to the following month and credit score increased each and ever month.

I've had 2 other secured cars capital one and discover and both gave me back my 2,500 dollar secured payment after 12 months. Citi secured card is a scam!!! Beware!! This will continue each and every cycle they lie on the disclosures and will hold your money in hope you will carry a balance so they can hit you with interest while making interest off of your secured payment.

I would give a -1 if I could. For the past month, I have spoken to over a dozen Citibank Customer Service Reps and so-called managers about the new Diamond Preferred card that I still have yet to receive. I am still waiting on the 4th card that was supposedly Fedex to me on 8/12 because card Numbers 1, 2 and 3 NEVER made it to me.

After receiving confirmation on 8/12 that my 3rd card was delivered I discovered that my address was incorrect. I called the evening of 8/12 to advise of such and ask for a 4th Card to be issued. Was told it would be expedited for overnight delivery.

I spoke to about 7 or 8 associates from 8/12 to 8/18 and not only did I have to keep repeating the issue, I got bounced around and had to repeat over and over and at the end of the call was told the card was coming…

Citibank frozen my debit account in May of this year and they told me that after 60 days they would send me the money, I have been calling every month and the last time I spoke with the bank they told me after 8/17/2021 they would send the money. Today I called and an employee told me that money had been sent to the IRS, without my consent and without telling me what they had done.

That is a fraud because they never told me. I demand that all the calls I have made be checked because you record them and I demand that my money be sent to me.

I have a 1% cash back on my citibank Mastercard. I enrolled in a promotional offer for 5% back on Home Improvement. I then spent $7,000 at a plumbing supply store and tile store to redo a bathroom. I only received the standard 1% because reportedly the merchants coded the sale as "plumbing supplies" and "floor coverings" and not "home improvement".

I think that is a semantic loophole and VERY bad business. Plumbing and tile are of course home improvement supplies for a home improvement project. I should have gotten the the full 5%. I have been a citi cardholder for over thirty years, even though other cards offer higher rewards.

Worst bank ever. Customer service 0 rating. Unprofessional, hard to understand because of poor English and phone lines. Information they do provide is not correct. Every person I talk to told me differently information, but basically can nor resolve the issue.

Bank itself will not protect customer, but will leave you open for fraud, which they " can not do much to resolve", while you have to pay late fees on account that is overdrawn, by fraud charges.
