I received an American Express gift card from my former employer with an expiration date of 09/24. I was going to use the card 2 months ago and go a message the card cannot be used. I contacted American Express gift card services and they informed me that I had to submit paperwork to review my case.
I submitted the paperwork for review but did not hear from American Express. I contacted the company on 06/16/21 and they informed me they had finished the review and they would be sending me a new card. I did not receive one so I contacted the company again on 06/30.
They checked their info and informed me a new card would be sent out that day and I should receive it within 7 to 10 days. I still did not receive a new card so I contacted the company again on 07/09.

I had fraudulent charges on my acct. I first spoke with the fraud dept. Then I was transferred to customer service to replace my card. The rep suggested that instead of keeping the card I’d received 3 weeks prior that I should cancel THIS card, because Citibank would issue a new debt card that wouldn’t just replace the last digit.
A few days later I received a email saying “ congratulations on unlocking your new debit card ending in xxxx with your customer service representative & if I need to block this card feel feelto contact them. A. I had not received any card.

They offered me a promotion if I opened a business account and kept a certain amount of money in the account for two months. It has been seven months and I have not gotten my promotion. I called multiple times to customer service and customer service is totally inadequate.
The branch manager was incompetent, presumably corrected any discrepancies she made when I first applied, and assured me my promotion would be in in my account within 24 to 48 hours. That was four weeks ago. It is still not there.

I am a customer and requested a Letter of Closure on an inactive and zero balance on a credit card account. After making numerous telephone calls to Citibank Customer service, being transferred to various departments, being disconnected and repeating my request copious times, I clearly was not being listened to.
I am the primary cardholder and the number on file was the supplementary cardholder's number. I explained that is was not my number and provided evidence of my identity as the primary cardholder. I have had my Citibank checking account since 1993. About a week ago I received a message asking if I recognized a particular, small transaction. I immediately responded that I did, and received a further message saying everything was ok.
But almost simultaneously another message arrived saying the account was blocked and giving me a number to call. Horrible customer service, these over seas representatives do not know what’s going on. They also do not understand how to fix simple situations. They also cannot properly speak English so it’s hard to understand them, on top of that they are rude and keeps hanging up the phone when they do not know how to solve a simple issue.
Citibank loses me Checking and savings account roughly 3 weeks ago. I finally received my PPP loan only to have Citibank close my account 5 days later leaving me now in more debt then during the pandemic. And my loan money is still in my account and my a account is still sitting stagnant in the fraud department.

My card was used for a fraudulent $1200 charge which Citi alerted me to and told me they would send me a new card and I would not be held responsible for the charges. It has now been 6 weeks and I haven't been refunded.
I have called 5 times and every time I'm told that they recovered the $1200 but can't figure out why it hasn't been posted to my account. Every time they either say it will be fixed in a day or two, or, I have to talk to someone else and they transfer me to another line that immediately hangs up.
I have now been hung up on 3x and Citi has made it clear that even though they recovered my $1200 they intend to keep for themselves.
Representative in the fraud dept got frustrated when being asked why an unreasonable hold gad been placed on a check I received, gsve out erroneous information, and ultimately hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional.

I have never dealt with a credit card company that makes it so hard to cancel a credit card. In an effort to consolidate debt, I called today to cancel my card which I recently paid off. The customer service agent named Jen was horrible.
It was obvious she was reading the script and she continued on and on about not canceling the card. It was downright painful to go through this process to cancel my citicard and I can promise this experience will never get me to open another card with you again.

On 6/13/21 about 4:30 PM I used an ATM at your branch at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue (across from Macy's) in Manhattan. I conducted my business and tried to leave the premises, but neither the exit bar nor the square placque opened the door.
And there was no guard present to assist us. Several customers were trapped inside the bank. Luckily someone from the outside entered and we were able to exit. If I had been using the ATM late at night, I guess I would have had to call the police to get me out. This should not happen.
Good morning, We just opened up a new account and put $25,000 in charges on the card. We received the card on June 11, with a demand for payment on June 27. We have never had a credit card where we were not given at least one billing cycle to pay off the amount.
A demand for payment in two weeks, is just unreasonable, especially for such a large amount. We contacted Best Buy Credit Card Customer Service and spoke to four different individuals, who, none of which, were helpful. This is not a way to conduct business, especially during these trying times.

This is the absolute WORST credit card i have ever had!!!! I have not used my card in a year, but the minimum payment changes, but they do not tell you on the statement. They took a payment 3 times now and said that I had not paid.

I used the mobile check deposit and they cleared my check then froze my account while they processed it. My account shows the balance and currently it’s over $1,700 but they won’t let me access my money or anything. I can barely make out what they are saying when I call but at some point one of the women said they were closing my account and I could reopen one in 2 months.

I got the Citi Bank Credit Card with the promise of Airline miles. I met the requirements to receive the miles I have accumulated. I recently, on 2 separate occasions attempted to use my miles to book hotel stays. ” American Airlines will not make this right and use the miles on our hotel stays which got billed to our Citi Credit Card.
