There was dust build up so thick around the ceiling fans on the rafters. We ordered waters with lemon, got plain water. I ordered the salad with chicken and asked for onion in it - she said I couldn’t have it chopped in my salad because she didn’t like onions, it would have to be on the side.

When she brought the salad and the lemon, she said it took so long to get our lemon because she had to make my salad, which had no cheese, crackers or boiled egg in it. At this point, I was so tired of her rudeness, I ate it anyway.

What a horrible birthday dinner! I will never go back!

We did not receive our complete meal and while telling the cashier about it stated would not be back to which she replied " I don't care, it doesn't affect me". Manager came with no resolution. I was highly offended by the lack of concern apparent from the cashier and the condescending attitude I received.

She even told me "we don't call a manager because we get complaints all the time". This tells me the Liberty,MO location has some major problems that are not being addressed. Will not be back?

I have been going to Cracker Barrel for many years. Food was good, service was very good, store had nice items. The menu is no longer the southern food which made CB special. The service is a 3 star and the kitchen is a 2 star they just get it right.

The shop item is below standard in clothing styles and a lot of junky items. I have bought quilts, clothes, Christmas ornaments, and candles, dishes and gifts in the past. 00. I also worked at a CB a few years ago and it was considered to be the best place to buy Christmas and clothes.

I am truly disappointed in so many changes. I believe you are trying to change a menu that I can go anywhere and buy. Why would you not one of a kind southern style, store and restaurants. Bring back the quality in food, service, and the shop.

I had an online order for pickup @ 10:45am, 9/7/22. My ick up time was 11:12am. I ordered a loaded sweet potato w/o marshmallows and an order of cheese bites. The order wasn't ready until 12:30, it was cold and nasty.

The potato had no pecans or butter on it. I was late getting back to work from my lunch break, (I work a literal 3 minute drive from Cracker Barrel). They offered no apology, excuses, or offered any solutions. I want a refund an I'll never go back. Order #295292930.

Last week I went in to pick up a doordash order. I'm sorry it was about a week and a half ago maybe 2 weeks ago, I went in to pick up a order for doordash. As I'm walking up to where they put the to go orders on this shelf, I felt assaulted.

I was grabbed from behind by some woman. She yanked my arm as I'm grabbing for a bag and asked what order are you looking for, as she proceeded to look herself as I've done many times on my own.

But for some reason she felt the need to look for me and was just absolutely rude. And as I look on later and see that white customers have no problem getting their order and not even asked the same question what order are you picking up they had no problem letting them get the food.

We were on vacation to Edinburgh, IN for the weekend and decided on Cracker Barrel for breakfast. We were a party of 6. We arrived at 8:45 am and didn’t leave the restaurant until 11:30! What a waste of our day.

It was ridiculous how short staffed the place was. So we decided to try again for dinner and give them another chance. Worst mistake ever. We checked in online and it said there was a 15 min wait. We have checked in lots of times before and never had a problem.

We get there and the hostess told us to never trust online check ins and it was actually a 45 min to an hour wait! We were so upset, but they were able to seat us 10 minutes later (I guess not to make us more mad).

Morning. Not sure why this location is always filled with problems. The last visit i never saw a waitress. I waited 20 mins my self and one other couple walked out. Today. September 6 2022. I was told they are out of your signature hash brown casserole.

The reason was that the cook dose not know how to make it. I was offered another choice. Then I was told o would be charged. For the up grade. I found this not to be acceptable. The reason I visit any Cracker Barrel is for the casserole.

I got a Togo order & it was the worst food I’ve ever gotten from Cracker Barrel! I ended up & throwing it out. 1- signature fried chicken, mashed potato,mac&cheese 1- vegetable plate mashed potato & corn. I waited 25 minutes on food.

I’ve always enjoyed Cracker Barrel but I will never go back to the one on shallowford road in Chattanooga Tn.

Placed a to-go order # 781926400 on 9/4/22 and was told the order would be ready around 10:03 AM. I picked the order up at 10:10 AM, and the hand off went fine. I arrived at home, and when I opened the contents, the additional sawmill gravy was left out. The scrambled eggs were overcooked, and the grits were cold and congealed. I called the restaurant and had to wait to speak to someone on the togo line. They informed me they could not credit any part of the order back to the card. They offered a credit on my next order.

I have eaten at the cracker barrel for years, and this is the worst quality I have experienced with the food. I don't know that I would even use the credit to eat at the cracker barrel again.

Just left Cracker Barrel in Troutville VA. Our scrambled eggs were hard and rubbery like they had sat awhile. Which it did take 30 minutes to get our breakfast. The food has not been as good lately. A lot of good items have been taken off the menu.

I used to love your oatmeal. Can’t get it anymore. I know you are short of help everywhere but we would still like to enjoy the breakfast like we use to. We have been going to different Cracker Barrel’s for 50 years.

First one was in Tennessee. But today and several before were not good. I could of made better at home and not payed for it. That being said the staff is always great! Everyone that works there is always friendly.

Your pay by phone is screwed up again. I'm sitting in the restaurant and your pay system says I can't pay unless I'm in a restaurant. I'm in 0207 and your supervisor says It's the correct number because it's on her paycheck, but I can't pay because your system doesn't recognize the number as a valid one.

It's been valid for 30+ years. Your system is broken more than it works. You need to get a decent IT company to manage your system. Whoever writes your software severely lacks programming knowledge of error management.

I have loved Cracker Barrel for years so relatives have routinely given me Cracker Barrel gift cards. Since the pandemic every time we have tried to stop for a meal the wait time has been so long I’ve opted to go elsewhere.

Two weeks ago when I stopped and walked inside the Harrisburg Cracker Barrel I was shocked at the odor in the shopping area. It smelled like sewage. I thought perhaps a line was backed up. I didn’t stay to eat that day because the wait time was more than an hour.

Today I stopped super early but was shocked to walk in and still smell the foul sewage smell in the shopping area. I should have left at that point but decided to stay since the wait time was only 20 minutes.

Purchased the "Friday Fish Fry" after enjoying it many times in the past. What we received was 4 "fish nuggets" a small handful of fries and about a pint of coleslaw. Not happy and, honestly, have noticed standards slipping at our "local" branch over the last year.

When we mentioned to smaller portions size to our server, get response was "yeah". We were then visited by another staff member who asked how things were and, when we told her about the tiny portions, told us "they started that about a year ago" which we know not to be true.

Store 214 - we arrived at the store at 11:15am-seated at 11:16am and waited 10 minutes for a server to tell us she would be right with us. Waited another 15 minutes for her to come back. Ordered our food, with drinks because we are traveling and have another 6 hours of driving ahead of us. 1-hour later, after flagging down the host, our cold food was delivered. We asked to see the manager.

When we got coffee we asked for our silverware so we could add sugar and cream to coffee. Some of it was finally brought after the food.

I have been eating breakfast at Cracker Barrell since the company opened and in all that time have never written a complaint. I take my grand children and their family"s to the store in Lenoir City, TN almost every Sunday.

We all have enjoyed the French Toast until last Sunday when to our dismay the french toast size had shrunk and tasted awful. In fact we didn't eat it and I asked the manager what was going on and told him we had frequented the restaurant for years.

He told me that the portion and recipe had changed the Tuesday before and their was nothing he could do but offer us additional french toast which we turned down. My question is why tamper with a winning meal and if was due to cost then increase the price instead of offering an inferior meal.

Went to Store CB0462 on 8/18/22. Server 1637447, Table 233. Arrived at 12:33pm, party of 2 waited 20 minutes to get seated. Food was delivered 1:40pm. Talk to a manager, was not helpful. Order the lunch specials that should take no longer then 15 minutes to send out, since everything is on the line.

Was there for a hour and a half for lunch. Need to retrain staff and managers. Awful experience, will not return.

Went for breakfast was not thst busy lots of empty tables took 1 hour to get food. Guess staffing all were nice. Had a to go order. Breakfast sandwich wuth scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. We live 20 miles out.

Got home you can see in pic what we had for our daughter. It looks like stuff picked off of plates of leftovers. It makes me sick. We like to eat here and love to shop but there is no excuse for this!

I sent the manager a pic he thanked me and said next time we are there we can get another sandwich. This was taken too lightly. I wonder how manyvtime someone has eaten someone's leftovers. Maybe they think this is a joke but no excuse for this.

Our famy ate at a cracker Barrel yesterday August 15 in Florida near West Palm Beach. First we have been customers for several years but recently we noticed a change in the quality of some food .

Yesterday we ordered a roster beef dinner which has always been our favorite. It was cold and the meat taste like rubber. The chicken and dumplings were slopped with gravy . The potatoes and gravy were cold. Although it was fairly empty our server took a long time to get our order. Not the waitress fault. She said there was a mix up with the food tickets in the kitchen . When we left I spoke to the cashier who apologized. I then asked to speak to the.manager who apologized and that was it.

Love cracker barrel but was very disappointed with my breakfast. Ordered pancake w crispy bacon and both were cold. Waitress said headlamp was out. She took it back and immediately came out w another also cold and bacon was raw on one side.

Brought me more bacon (also cold) did not eat the pancake. Left very upset. 12 dollars for cup of coffee and cold bacon..

Our dinner experience was was awful. The Souther Fried Chicken Dinner was a disaster. The chicken was old and tasted like it was left over from the previous day and smelled funny .

Also the gravy was lumpy and cold. The Fish Fry was just as bad. Fourpieces of Cod which seemed to have been frozen and reheated . The fish also had a very distinct taste that was foul as if spoiled.

Our service was just as bad. This particular location is in Amherst New York on Transit Road

I went to Cracker Barrel Store # CB0331 in Peoria, AZ, about 3:00 PM yesterday, to try your Thursday Lunch, Turkey N' Dressing. I was promptly seated and greeted by a friendly waitress who promptly took my order, but that was when things went south.

After waiting probably 20 minutes to get my food (the restaurant was not very busy at that time of day), she told me that they were baking more dressing which her manager told her was going to take a half hour. A half hour, I replied!

What kind of poor planning is that? So, the manager told them to take the left-over dressing off of a to-go order and put it on my plate because I was waiting. Then, some other server brought my food, probably because they were an innocent third party.

In South Carolina, Myrtle Beach. Called to order breakfast phone rang and rang and no one picked up. Called back a 2nd time someone answered put me on hold and no one ever came back after waitin 41 minutes on hold. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My granddaughter has a rare disease and eat special food. Cracker barrel in NY and CT would always cook the pancake batter that we brought so she could feel included. C refused. It did not have to be cooked on a different grill than what is used. So disappointed.

Meal was brought out after 30 minutes and several items were incorrect. Waitress tried to fix the problem but continued to bring the wrong food. Pickles for an appetizer came AFTER the meal. They were cold and she didn't charge us for that. I don't know if it was a problem with her or the kitchen.

On 8/5/22 we arrived at store #cb0096 on a tourbus with reservations for 5 pm. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated promply. The first 8 were seated at large table an orders were taken. ALL of the rest our group were finished eating some had already paid thir checks before we received our meals.

Two people came by the table and apologized for the delay. We finally received our meals at 6:08 pm and our checks at 6:19 pm. POOR customer service.

Hello. I am a frequent customer at the Sharon Rd, Cincinnati, OH location. This past Saturday, August 6, 2022, my guest and I had an unsettling visit. We arrived at 11:15 a.m. The waitress took our order, however by 12:15 p.m. we were asking for the manager (African American lady) to find out 1. did our order get lost?; 2. why two tables across from us that came in after us had already been served. The manager finally came to our table, didn't say a thing, but had our meals with her. She didn't apologize. She just said, "well, I brought you your orders." We were going to order a take home meal as well. My sister and I are senior citizens and we don't cook much at home anymore. The manager was so rude we got up and left. The food was good the server was awful she never said hello all we got is what do you want to drink what do you want to eat do we told her than had to ask another another server for a refill on tea , than our order was messed up than instead of asking did we want our check separately she put it all together than we told her we needed it separated she jerked it out my friends hand by than I was ready to grab her up .

My boyfriend and I walked in nobody greeted us so when we got to the host station a lady said that somebody would be right with us. 15-20 minutes after us standing here a manager finally walked out and said she’d be right with us, walked passed us 3 times and has yet to take our order. There have been 4-5 different workers to walk past us and not acknowledge us.

My sister, her 3 grandsons, my granddaughter & I drive from Cocoa FL to Fort Mill for a vacation at Carowinds. We drove straight through without lunch thinking we would get a great meal for dinner. We were very please to see a Cracker Barrel near our hotel.

We were seated immediately in the back near an emergency door at a large table to accomodate all of us (which was fine). Our food came & what a dissapointment. My sister ordered a steak medium-rare with mashed potatoes & green beans.

The steak was extremely thin (maybe about a 1/4") and over-done. The mashed potatoes were inedible as were the green beans as they were so mushy. I ordered a salad with turkey. I got the salad without turkey. My granddaughter got chicken fingers that were so overdone they were too tough to eat.

I recently went to Cracker Barrel in Jonesboro Ark on Thursday Aug 4 2022 after a long absence as I live in CAnada I ordered a regular breakfast consisting of eggs bacon hash brown potatoes hot tea and toast . When I got the tea the water was very Luke warm to say and not hot and therefore we had to complain to the waitress who I must say was good for a three star .

Then I got my meal. I would like to say treat not every one can have cheese in their diet and when I received my meal the potatoes were filled with some kind of cheese. No I remember when I was there years ago cheese was not pert of this needless to say I could not eat there and reordering was not an option for both your waitress and us as we were both on tight schedules .

I travel on business, and on average I eat at Cracker Barrel a minimum of 2 times per week. Post covid the service at each location ( AR, LA , MS, AL and West TN) has been consistently poor. I experience long wait times for a seat, slow service, AND, noticeably poorer food quality. Unfortunately, these are becoming consistent problems of Cracker Barrel post covid. It seems the culture is changing, and these are not welcome changes.

Lastly, I read today Cracker Barrel announced, sausage will no longer be pork, but veggie. I was troubled by the discontinuation of Turkey sausage, this is much worse. If this is the new direction Cracker Barrel is heading, I will be forced to eat elsewhere. On average I eat at Cracker Barrel a minimum of 2 times a week x 50 wks per year. My lowest bill is ( on…

My wife were in to the Cracker Barrel in Bentonville, AR on 8/3/2022. We each had the Homestyle Breakfast with Hamburger Steak. There was so much garlic on it that me or my wife could not eat it. I would like to say shame on you Cracker Barrel for not being environmentally friendly with all the extra trash you have created to go in our land fills everyday. I can only imagine how much trash one Cracker Barrel makes with these new silverware bags much less all your restaurants.

Go to Cracker Barrell often. Usually during slow times. Slow service and no refills. Last time was the worst. Sat there at least 15 minutes before a waitress showed up.

Finally brought us our 2 drinks. Didn’t come back at all to refill my empty drink. Even after placing my glass at the edge of the table empty. My daughter finally shared her drink with me. Paid for 2 drinks and was sharing 1 drink. Awful.

This was the fist time I finally didn’t leave a tip. Poor service everytime. Cracker Barrell has lost a customer!!!!

The Crawfordsville evening Manager, I think his name is Brad, is ripping customers off!! Knowingly serving partial meals because “they ran out” and not telling customers and Giving really small portions. Ridiculously small! This happened to me 2 out of 3 visits over a 6 month time period, so how many other customers are being ripped off???

He’s not offering a substitute and he isn’t even allowing the servers to say anything to the customer. He is taking the chance on either the customer not saying anything or even noticing for that matter. This makes it theft!!!.

dirt on the vents and pipes .. fans with dirt on them .. I wish I was making this up but it's true .. the owner should spend more time in the restaurant or at lease follow up with the reviews that are coming in ..

the come back is contacted corporate office .. well I am .. the menus were the first clue they need to be thrown out and new one brought in they are worn out .. next management has no clue or doesn't care both are bad ..

the owner hands off all the bad reviews to the corporate level and 99 % of the people don't respond .. next someone needs to read all the…

When entering the store I went to place a to go order while my friend went to restroom. While waiting for our order to get done we decided to look around. We clean houses for a living and the manager Janine decided that based off how we looked that we was thieves and was following my friend and myself.

I felt that we was discriminated against 100% and I'm appalled with how paying customers are treated. The date it happened was 7/19/2022 at 8:30 pm

On 7-24-2022 we went to Cracker Barrel CB0544 in Columbia Tn around 3 pm to have a late lunch. When we got there they were not to awfully busy.

However we still waited probably 15 mins before we were seated. If they had been busy would not have been a problem, However there were plenty of empty tables the workers were just all standing around havinf converstions with each other.

When we finally got seated we were placed ar table 245 by the kitchen. The whole time we heard everything going on in there as well as the converstions they were having and all kinds of laughter. When out server 1795157 Anaya fineally showed up to take our order she acted mad like she didnt want to be there and was very rude to us.

However we noticed at her other tables she was smiling and laughing and joking but…
