I tried calling and talking to customer service about my account. 02. I wanted to know why I was still being charged for HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and Stars. I got them in March. I only wanted them for 3 months then I wanted them cancelled because I wanted to watch the last season of Game of Thrones.

00 a month was about to end. 00 a month. 02. I unfortunately did not have it at that time. He still refused to talk about my account until I paid. I tried calling back today. 02. 00 and some change. 00 and change.

You are trying to price gouge me. I know what I owe. I want you to send me a box to return the receivers if you are not going to work with me. Direct tv has gone down hill. I'm not impressed with how you treat your customers. 02 I owe.

Direct Tv wasn't authorize to take my money out of my debit bank account. They are paying someone else bill since 08-08-18 to 07-08-19. I reported this to my bank to stop the debit. I pay my bill through Western Union at Publix Supermarket.

I have submitted all the 11 statement to Direct Tv they just don't want to give my money back to me that the company stole from my account. I never seen anything like this with a company taking customer hard earn money paying the next customer bill.

This is the fourth month trying to resolve this issue. 49. Thanks

My service was suspended today because of a mistake your company made. We were charged for NFL and called to report the mistake in September. The account was credited but the following month we were charged again because someone did not cancel the service.

00 past due bill, our service was suspended. I took time out of my lunch to call and fix the problem. Someone was supposed to call me back in two hours. I received NO phone call. Upon arriving home from work, my service was still not reconnected.

I tried calling again and spent 40 minutes with Nico in Loyalty who said he would call me back after I could no longer wait on the phone. Two hours later, no service and no call back. I once again had to call to remedy the problem only to learn Nico noted that the call dropped which is total…

Lifetime family friends had a tragedy happen to them back on June 9th 2019. Their entire house literally exploded. There was nothing left and the directtv customer, David Swain, lost his wife and son in that explosion. He lost everything and yet when he tried to explain that to you guys, he was told he had to pay for the equipment anyway.

So this poor elderly man not only held his son in his arms as he died, he held his wife too. What legitimate company would do this to someone who had just went through the worst nightmare of his life??

Anyone can look it up on any news; it was the biggest home explosion from natural gas in Rapatee Illinois ever! Please someone do something about this. This just added insult to injury. Please do the right and moral thing. Julie L.

I discontinued Directv and the sent me a return box to send my equipment back. 43 for not returning the equipment. I called and after over an hour on the phone I was told my account at that moment was zeroed out because they did receive the equipment.

43 was take out of my checking account. I called again and after 45 minutes on the phone I was told I would get a call back within a week because my problem was escalated.

I recently called about my bill i was transferred numerous times and no one was able to help me my call got disconnected i had to call back and still wasn’t a great outcome as a loyal customer for 8 years they could not work with me. The staff was not very knowledgeable.

We were sent an advertisement in the mail to come back to directv. It was for 300 gift card which we received. And the packages went as such. 99. I called wasted 2 hrs of my time with 3 different people to be tolded that they couldn’t help me.

And that the advertisement wasn’t correct. That is false advertisement. None of the people helped. And we’re kinda of rude. We would have never went back to them had we have known that. To me don’t lie to people to get them back.

I am very disappointed with them. To lie and not make things right. Instead they gave me a fraud number to call. And they are the frauds. This has been a big waste of money and time.

I’m writing to you today about a dispute I have with Direct TV for an account at a home I owned for a short time in Vero Beach FL. The address is 1344 Shorewinds DR Vero Beach FL 32963 I purchased the home in June of 2018.

It was going to be a second home. I opened an account with Direct TV on this home. The property was sold in January 2019. I called Direct TV to close the account and spoke to a customer service person who told me that my account was closed and if there was a balance I would receive a bill.

Every time I call directv about my bill, I get someone from the Philippines or Mexico City. Why? I live in the United States. They are far too difficult to understand. Their English is terrible. Not to mention I spend at least an hour on the phone every time. At least.

When we set up our account, it was required (in order to get a discount) to use a credit card. This worked fine for the first 5 months, then they missed a month and double billed the next month. Today our service has been disconnected.

When we try to call it is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a living person. When we go through the automated system, it takes forever and then it says the card is invalid (which it isn't because it was just used earlier in the day and we know it is not invalid).

Furthermore, when we were not billed that one month, they said the card was invalid, but yet it they double billed the next month. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!

99, I agreed and was told by her to call by 10/22/19 to cancel the NFL ticket so I wouldn’t be billed for a season. 94 for the NFL package. I called CS to rectify the charge and it took over an hour or more, four CS reps only to be told by a supervisor (which I asked for after terrible service and

multiple calls) that I was billed a onetime charge and not installments so I cannot be issued a credit if I cancel the NFL Ticket. This is going on month 3 with this problem. We couldn't watch tv for 6 days. A technician came out and it was determined we had a bad receiver. He changed it out and the old one was sent back.

The next bill showed us cancelling service and then asking for new service 6 days later. WRONG. Supposedly they "credited" us. Again, it happened. Friday, 10/4, my bill was $400 + because Directv is still billing us wrong. Again, pay the $400+ and we have a credit of $250 ready for next month's bill.

24. 00 to have service restored. On Friday they turn off my service again cause they said I had a balance if 97 in which I did pay. 98 but the rest was gone. I was told before my services was interrupted that it would take 2 billing cycles.

The representative stated that he did not see any record. I gave him the file number and the representative that gave the credits. Direct TV is doing some low down stuff and the number listed on the letter is not valid anymore.

This was a scam and I am contacting a lawyer about this.

Direct TV's Horrible Customer Service

Why should a customer, who has paid for services for who knows how many years, be responsible for taking valuable time out of their day, drive who knows how far in order to return equipment that was Delivered to their house by Direct TV when service began?

In my case, a return kit was sent to my home. Whomever delivered it placed it on my front porch in the middle of a torrential down pour. It got soaked, as a result of this soaking the cardboard it came apart. It was useless. After numerous phone calls, I was told that another one was on it's way to me. A few weeks later, nothing. We pay alot for this Directv and it never works when it rains out. We have had rain for 3 days and it still doesn't work. I called customer service to see if someone could come out because there is nothing interferring with the dish and we done all the troubleshooting. The guy said that I needed to be home and for it to not be raining!!!!! WTF and if I want someone to come out, it will cost $100 for that.

So if this doesn't get fixed we will be canceling Directv and figure something else out!!

I was to have someone replace my 3 boxes yersterday No one shower up. Now they cant come till Wednesday. I waitied 4 hours and got up early on Sunday And No one shower up I finaly had to call again to find out they were not comming at all.

We have 3 Gennie boxes. They were struck by lightning Saterday. I called was told they would be out Between 8-12 Sunday so i get up at 7 on my only day off. No one shows up I call again .

My wife has been on the phone for over 5 hrs trying to retrieve a refund that we were supposed to has over 2 months ago on top of trying to reduce our bill. Going thru direct tv in the Philippines is nothing short of a Joke!!

Earlier in the year we were given some promotions to keep our put manageable. At the same time we were promised the NFL red zone package and told to call in when the season started. I called in a couple of months ago and Direct TV went back on the promise and refused to provide us with the free NFL package??

The Direct TV equipment is antiquated with many problems. I called in last month to the tech help Dept to report that our picture continues to freeze up causing a totally dead remote. This happens frequently and the only way to fix the problem is to go to the receiver and re-set.

Your Rep advised there was nothing She could do unless we paid for a service call! After 10 years we will be going back to Dish. Direct TV poor service-doesn't keep word!

To whom this may concern, Sooo on football Sunday my television service just stops working. I call direct TV get someone from a third world country on the phone that I can barely understand and they surely are reading from a script as it takes them a while to truly gather my issue.

After taking my own lead to reset the box with my foreign rep. on the phone we discover I need a tech to visit which was scheduled for Monday between 3-6. Monday comes i take off work early, at $400 an hour as an atty my time is expensive.

I called on 9/21 approximately 6pm to order a movie to view at 9pm on channel 131. The operator said it was scheduled. I pay extra to do this. At 9p, all we get is a screen that says more ordering options.

I call back, have to listen to all the crap on the phone before I get an operator who says she fixed our problem and the movie came on --- for 30 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE got the same screen "more ordering options", I called back to get my money back since we are sick and tired of all this very POOR service.

The operator should have credited my account - at least that is what he said he did. I asked to talk to a manager and he said they are all in a meeting - really - on a Saturday night??

In July, I had an intermittent problem with my remote. Rep sent me a new one at no charge to me. My bill dated 7/22/19 showed a $15 credit (this is where the problem began. My bill dated August 22/19 had an increase of $15.

If Directtv is going to be routing calls outside the United States, than they need to train employees from other parts of the world how to deliver excellence when it comes to customer service. A lot of the representatives are rude and don’t want listen to the issue at hand. Which in turn frustrates the customer.

Question on billing, got International call center. Consistently spoken over without listening to questions. On hold with open line so I could here what was being said in background. I am fluent in many languages so I could understand. Not very pleasant.

Finally got a "manager" to voice my complaint to, he did the same thing. Very rude, and quite frankly, if I was able to find an alternative, I would. My location however, gives me no option without almost doubling my present billing of almost $100 per month.

I called Direct TV for a problem with my tv. They sent out a rep the next day, & while he was here, another guy came in, saying he was from AT&T. He came to try & convince me to switch my Verizon cell phone to AT&T for a lower price.

It would be $20 lower (without Ins) which I have with Verizon & $30 off Direct TV for a year. 00 (did not include ins) The man did everything possible to make me change carriers. I finally gave in, My phone is all screwed up, cannot get voicemails etc.

I am going back to Verizon.

Also lost channels on tv. It is such a scam to do that to people. It also happened to my daughter, the exact same situation. I am also thinking of canceling Direct tv, for such bad business dealings. If AT&T is that desperate, it is not a company to deal with Thank you

I basically have been told by your customer service representatives and their supervisors for the past 2 days ,that I am incapable of reading and understanding a contract. My integrity has been questioned as well. I at this point have absolutely no desire to remain with your company as a direct result of how I was treated by your representatives.

I have be a customer for over 10 years and have 2 standard receivers. I heard thru a repairman & not thru Direct TV that the standard signal is going away and that you must have a HD box and satellite receiver.

When I try to call them you have to go thru 5 minutes of automated calls, before getting put on hold. When you finally get on line with someone they just transfer your call around until you get disconnected. My standard call with Direct TV is 45 minutes to ask simple questions.

I wanted to ask about upgrading my equipment, some people say I'm available for upgrade, others say it's going to cost me money. It's very frustratiung, as a loyal customer for over 10+ years I shouldn't be treated so poorly.

I had issues with my cable in July, called 4 times for them to send someone to fix it. On my 4th call 1 hour and 30 minutes later I finally had someone come over and fix my cable. Today, 9/10/19 I was on the phone for 1 hour and 45 minutes, three different reps I finally had my issue resolved.

Because I feel that every time I call I’ll be on the phone for such long hours I decided to cancel my service with them! They need to give their reps some serious training!!!

I have been a direct tv customer for over 10 years. My first few years I was very happy with the service I was provided. And I was proud to be a Direct TV Customer. Great Service and extremely easy to work with. 5 Stars!!

Yesterday, I realized I did not have ESPN so I could not watch Monday Night Football. I called customer service, I can only say it's easier and quicker to get a new car loan and possible refinance my house.

Wish I could do less than one star and I also wish I never got involved with DirecTV. I have had five contacts with service agents in the last two weeks trying to get the service address changed, each said it was done but it was not done.

The last made a change that generated a move request and I started getting email about scheduling a move, I have not moved. Could not cancel online but spent almost an hour getting it canceled. Will cancel directv as soon a possible.
