BEWARE!!!! My service was disrupted back in September when a storm hit. I called a couple of weeks later for a repair man and they said he’ll be there Monday. He didn’t show up so I looked at the appointment and found out that it was scheduled for 13 years in the future on Monday.

I was never able to get anyone out to do the repair so in December I finally got frustrated and turned off my service. They sent boxes to return the equipment but I have been waiting all this time for them to send the shipping labels.

I have called so many times and each time they assured me the shipping labels are in the mail. Now they are sending me to collections for the bill for the equipment. When I call to discuss this the automated message tells me that I have to pay my bill before they will talk to me.

I called about my direct TV box making a humming sound and was told to unplug it. After doing so my service did not return to my tv and I was scheduled for a service call today. My husband stayed at home all morning waiting but they did not come.

When I called my service had been rescheduled for April 8 which is another week and no explanation as to why. I will be without service for almost 2 weeks. This it totally unacceptable service!

I have had direct tv over 20 years and find this service experience not only unbelievable but unacceptable.

It was suppose to be a service call to resolve a tv intermittently shutting off during a show.

Tech 1 shows up yesterday, 3/27, no name badge, doesn’t introduce himself, says from direct tv to trouble shoot. I ask his name he does not give me one.

I call direct tv and they confirm a tech is in sight. He is here over 3 hours, confused and calls direct tv for help 4 times from my living room. Finally he decides to replace receiver with a new one. Why I do not know as new receiver was same as old one.

Unbeknown to me when he does this he has just taken all my saved programs with him in the old receiver. He does not mention that bit of information.

Signed up for 5-day free trial. Contract stipulated service could be cancelled online anytime. Tried to cancel after 3 days and impossible to do online.

First it was difficult to log in. Then once that was resolved I couldn't cancel without giving a reason and then either chatting with or speaking customer service. Tried to chat but feature did not work. So I called and was mildly pressured to keep service at a reduced rate.

All tolled, I spent about an hour online and on hold trying to cancel. Obviously a ploy to entice people to subscribe with a free trial, then make it difficult to cancel. They make it seem like cancelling is easy.

I have had AT&T DirecTV for many years and I am very sorry that I have this service. It seems that every month my bill goes up and when I need service I don't get the help that I need.

I am so frustrated with the closed captions on Direct TV. The words ususally lag whay behind the spoken words, and then disappeat before I can read them. Some time s they are ahead of the voices, but again disappear too fast.

When I purchased my direct tv service I specifically explained to the sale's agent that the service was for an airbnb home I purchased out of state and that I needed all billing and other information sent to my primary address which is already an existing at&t account. When I claimed my special $200 reward offer I immediately called the rewards center to have them mail it to my primary and ensure it would be done.

They explained to me they could not do that and that I needed to call customer service. Customer service kept me on the line for over an hour an essentially told me even though the sale's agent messed up they couldn't remedy the situation.

I requested for the first time a change of PAYMENT DATE, so it is on the day of my direct deposit from Social Security.

We are good customers, pay on time, but this request was DENIED.

What was offered was to change the date ONLY IF WE ARE AUTO PAY. I don't trust that.

I am not pleased. If I arrange monthly payment on my Social Security date they will charge me an additional fee!

Reconsidering the entire service at this point.

While in completely satisfied with the TV service I am very unhappy with the unsolicited phone calls I get to try to get me to upgrade. Your people call when people are at work. They do not stop talking and will not take a polite refusal.

I have had service for one year. My bill went from 85 dollars month to 160. That's rediculous to say the least I would of never agreed to that. You lied. I'm on disability .. and a veteran of the US ARMY. On fixed income.

On Friday, March 3, 2023 there was a rain/wind storm in Florence, Kentucky where I reside causing a power outage which resulted in the loss of my DirecTV service. On Saturday morning, March 4, 2023, I was on the phone with DirecTV for nearly 2 hours trying to rectify and restore the services of Direct TV to my TV to no avail. m.

My name is Elizabeth Glenn, I have been a customer since 2020. I tried combining my bill December of 2021 and I was promised that I would see the discount in 1-2 billing cycles. That was not the case and I did not get it successfully combined until May 2022. I was promised a $70 discount on my entire bill as I combined it, and yet no one can seem to find the discount, the notes inregards to my account with the promo. I have been fighting with your company and been called a lier, stupid, and treated as if I do not know basic math. I've been with Directv/ At&t for over 5 years, paid my bills on time no issues. ok whatever. For the month of November I only received a bill from AT&T. I call and speak with a representative who is says they are separating and he didn't know when but that I would receive a bill soon.

I paid the AT&T and went on with my life. Next thing I know I receive a bill for $256. I think okay I wasn't expecting it to be that much but I set up the payment arrangement. Then today I receive a bill for $416. I'm like woah!!

I contacted ph# 888-388-4249 today to inquire about a late charge fee on my bill. I spoke with. "Sam." I tried to explain the issue and he kept interrupting me and would constantly raise his voice at me. I became frustrated and began to raise my voice as well as he kept interrupting each time I would try to speak. I have received a letter that informed me of the refund I was supposed to get due to service disconnect. When I called about two weeks ago to inqure on the refund, I was promised the amount to be sent to my address in the form of the card.

However, weeks went by, and nothing. When I finally called again to customer service, not only did they made changes to the initial amount, they have made me wait for almost an hour on the line to resolve basically nothing.

I have not experienced the worse customer service in my life! Basically, if I do not call again, my refund won't be issued, or they will provide me with all kinds of excuses why is was not or would not be issued!

I called to get service for myself and brother, we live the same apartment building 2.21.2023. At each step, I was Transferred to another Person, who nothing of why I called. The First call, I gave my personal Information and was told, They could not tell me how the total cost Taxes & Fees, (what would my Monthly bill be). I spent an hour in 4 transfers, the last agent said I needed my Apartments permission, to connect to SATELLITE DISH on our ROOF. I was promised HBO Max for 3 months when I subscribed to Directv Stream. I have never been able to get HBO Max. I have 3 Fire Sticks, two of which are on LG TVs. After working fine for two months with the Directv Stream app they no longer work. I bought a ROKU.

The app doesn't work with the ROKU either. I'm paying for a service that I can't get on two of my TVs. I have been on the phone with tech support for over 6 5 hours. Totally disgusted with the lack of service and support.

Can't speak to a supervisor in a timely manner (36 hours). Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!!

It has been MANY months since we have lost the FOX station (locally KLRT). Have missed the World Series, various programs, and of course football games. latest has been the super Bowl. I scrounged around with my ROKU and finally was able to watch - unfortunately it was in Spanish!

When is that channel going to return?? You could get rid of a lot of the shopping, porn, and various unsavory channels so that you would be able to afford to bring back this channel. With so many options out there, it might be that you will continue to lose customers.

I hate that as we have been a customer for many years BUT this is ridiculous! I know there was a similar problem with DISH but they got their back on line in a short period of time. Please help!!

I have been having issues with a channel that is included in what I pay for not showing up and saying that is in not included in my package for several days, it finally after 3 days came back on the TV but is still not displaying on Directv's app.

This brings me to the LACK of tech support in my circumstances. I work nights and sleep days, so not having 24 hour / 7 day support is a real issue. I finally got ahold of support and told them the issue, and they after having me uninstall and reinstall the app said they would escalate the ticket...

I have yet to hear back or get the app working for that one channel. Directv is about to strike out.

I am extremely unhappy with the lack of service, technicians that don’t seem to be well trained and long wait times on the phone just trying to have it fixed. Add in the and the rude repairman ‘Renee” the prior week who didn’t want to wear a face mask or put on shoe coverings who rudely told us it was not his problem that he did not have the replacement box I had requested!

This was another waste of my time taking time off of work for that appointment along with 5 other calls. Every call seem to create a new issue instead of correcting the reason I called in the first place.

While i was driving on clinton keith in murrieta, CA today (2/12/23) at around 2pm, a DirecTV driver was going 65 in a 45 behind me forcing me to speed up while almost rear ending me numerous times. He then proceeded to try and go around me on the single lane road while almost hitting my vehicle again.

When the road split into 2 lanes, his window was down and he was on his phone not paying attention to the road at all. I don’t think that is the type of person you want representing your brand considering if i didn’t speed up i would have gotten hit by YOUR brands vehicle.

The license plate of the van was 35670J1. It says the vehicle is monitored by GPS but i find that very hard to believe. I’ve attached an image.

I live on 2427 W. Lyndale St. I was naked and just took a shower when I saw someone on my balcony. When I opened my door, it was one of your technicians who removed a window of my balcony to get accessed to install a new cable requested by a neighbor.

He did not ask for my permission and I was shocked and I was scared. I do not feel safe in my apartment. I am not comfortable with this cable on my balcony.

On February 2 my TV was showing no signal. I contacted DIRECTV they ran me through the troubleshooting which I did and I requested a technician to come out. They said I didn’t need a technician. They knew what part it was and they would ship it to me overnight the next day I checked on the part nobody knew anything about it.

There was no note made there was no parts shipped And now every day since a DIRECTV technician has called me wanting to troubleshoot when I have told them I have an appointment for a technician to come out. I have to pay $99 which is fine but in the meantime for a week and a half I have no TV I am being annoyed constantly by people wanting to troubleshoot and I am paying for this service.

I operate a hotel in Texas and for many months wecan’t see anything on Fox channel. We weren’t able to see any of the football games, FIFA World Cup, etc. Just cause DirecTV doesn’t have a contract with fox.

Twelve month promotion started approximately 05/2022, offered an additional $5 off billing if I enrolled in autopay service. The bankcard on file expired sometime in 10/2022, I called Directv an immediately made that months payment also updated the card. I have received discounts for a long time from your company & this month I’m told there are none available. 00 which was manageable. I have already changed my package & dropped things but without some discounts I cannot keep my service.

I have been a customer for a long time & would really hate to switch . Hopefully someone can help. I spoke to several representatives already with no help.
