I am originally from Maine and I have been a Boston Red Sox dan for all my life. When i moved to New York and I wanted to keep watching the Red Sox. I was told that if i get the sports package I would be able to get NESN (channel 623).

During baseball season , i can watch all the pregame on this channel but when the game turns on my tv says this channel is blacked out in your area. If i have satellite and am paying for the channel shouldn't i be able to watch it.

My TV jump off several times. I talked to a Rep of Direct TV. I explain to Charles what was going on. Charles yawn in my ear said he was sorry. Charles yawn immediately again said nothing. Charles was breathing heavy.

Explain to Charles the problems with my cable he said no harsh Charles said he knew what the problem was I needed a new TV or new cable cord. I have 9 months left I will be leaving. Asked to speak to a supervisor Kristan Mimic Charles exact words.

I need help to cancel my contract with Direct TV

I have talked to a minimum of 8 Direct TV personnel to include 3 supervisor and representatives from the social media department, customer service and technician dispatch. No one has a clue what is going on. I get a different answer from each person. All apologize for the experience (autopilot response) but none have given a reasonable solution. I want out of my direct TV contract ASAP without penalty.

Tech was scheduled to fix my service on Saturday 3/26/22 from 8 to 12. Got a call stating they were cancelling stating truck broke down. Got another message tech would come Sunday 10/27/22 between 8 and 12. No show! Got another email and dispatch call telling me tech would be at my house between 8-12 on 3/28. Paid $110 to a closed account on Oct 29. That was a mistake as I hit the wrong account on line. My account shows paid but not true. The $110 was not put back into my account nor have I received this refund in check or debit card.

I have called starting the first of November and was told no problem I would get this money back in 2 weeks but only as a debit card. I have called ever 2 to 3 weeks with a different answer every time.

No level has helped me ever!!! I have been lied to and the last called today said there is nothing more to do for me. Please as a senior citizen on a fixed income I want my money now. My account number is 77184601.

Directv Acct #258828766 On 3/19 our remote would not work. We talked to Ivy, DR415W. She put in an order for a new remote & said UPS would deliver it on Sunday, 3/20. 99. I told her twice NO, I can't afford it.

When I checked my email, I found she added it anyway! I called & cancelled, Conf #7248662556A. The remote did not come on 3/20 so I called again. He said UPS takes 3 days. Customers should not be lied to!

I have been a customer about 15 years & considering cancelling.

Told me the bill would be $130, then sent me a bill for $170..when I called to ask why they said "well...things are getting more expensive..you know...like the price of gas.". I got the bill ONE DAY AFTER was told $130.

I have been a customer for nearly five years. During this time, I have had no issues with the satellite service itself. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the billing. Every few months my bill mysteriously goes up necessitating another phone call or text to customer service and the loyalty department.

It’s ludicrous that I have to keep such an eagle eye on billing that should be the same each month. Despite dozens of promises and billing adjustments, the bill always fluctuates after a short while. I have pages of conversation notes.

It’s truly a shell game and unfair billing practices. Consumer beware!

I have closed my account on October 4th 2021, and continue to get billed every month since then. I’ve spoken to many people for many hours and with each conversation I’ve been assured it will be resolved and my final bill has been paid.

I would like to make you aware how your customers are being treated by employees of both the Loyalty Program, and Technical Support .

On 19 Feb 2022, I contacted Directv to request a receiver replacement due to problems with the receiver. I spoke with an employee named AJ, he, for some reason, scheduled an install vice just sending a new receiver. I called Directv back on 20 Feb 2022, to inquire why was I getting an install scheduled when all I need is a new receiver. I was connected with a Directv employee named Brennan who said he would correct the order, cancelling the install. During the conversation, Brennan said I was eligible to get an upgrade, at NO COST to me. He explained what I would be getting, so I agreed to the upgrade, BUT at no time did he say I would be placed on a 2 year…

I have spoke to 30 people in the month of February 2022 I made a payment on the 3rd they could not see it when they saw it they said they could not apply it to my bill finally February 21st the manager Michelle 0 my account out because she couldn't understand what was going on neither February 23rd I appreciate the email that my hundred and $6 cell phone bill needed to be paid Direct took a $108 payment that I made to AT&T February 2nd and applied that money to DirecTV when talking with management no one could explain what was going on they would just transfer me from one person to another person to another person AT&T gave me hell and I'm going to tell.

Was having technical issues with directv streaming. Tried to chat, was told they are not open after 9pm central. Called supper. They hung up on me. Called support back. They said that they're closed. Looked at the website, and. It says tech support is 24/7. Did another chat.

Got another tech sport number. Called them, and got hung up on AGAIN. now I have absolutely no way of getting any help at all.

Good Afternoon My Name is Justin Tirbovich. I have been an AT&T cellphone and Directv customer for 8 plus years. Back in late 2019, early 2020 I reached out to Directv customer support to do something about my bill since the price had went up dramatically.

The initial contact with customer support was not helpful. After I sent a low survey score, a Manager from Directv called me directly to my cellphone giving me a lifetime promotion of $85 a month before taxes and little fees.

30 up to Feb. 2023. (2) I didn’t know why Direct TV disconnected my TV on Feb. 1, 2022 (3) I called back to ask the reason. I was told the promotion was no longer valid. (4) Direct TV told me if I wanted to reconnect, they’d have to start the new contract for 2 years.

(5) I asked them many times how many days Direct TV allows me to cancel of the contract if I see the price is high or not happy with the contract? (6) I was told by the Direct TV Customer Service and her supervisor on Feb.

I have had direct TV for 4 years the cable outside runs across a gravel driveway and gets disconnected frequently. This has happened 3 times in the last week. I have asked them to bury cable they told me they cannot.

I am sorely disgusted that Directv is not renewing OAN once their current contract runs out. This is purely political. I will leave Directv (after 25 years) if Directv follows through with this silencing of the conservative message. And believe me, I am NOT the only one who will leave.

I request you seriously reconsider your decision on discontinuing OAN, and renew their contract.

DirecTV has arbitraryly chosen to drop One America News, even the station is overwhelmingly by millions of consumers. I feel it's been dropped because the station is very honest and DirecTV , being biased is moving more towards the left!

If this happens, millions of subscribers will cancel their subscription with DirecTV, me included.. American consumers are fed up with indiscriminate decisions. We paid for this programming and we expect to watch it daily..

My compliant is that I canceled my service with Directv July 6, 2021. 00 which includes an early cancellation fee. I cancelled the service because I could not afford the prices. I went to a competitor and I let the representative know this when I canceled the service July 6, 2021.

DirecTv sent me a bill and saying that I didn't cancel my plan and I was disconnected due to non-payment and the early cancellation fee is because I ordered or had a change to my plan which is not true. How could I have an early cancellation fee when I been with Directv for over 10 years.

I am so livid now because I am now in collections due to this. I have talked to two representatives that was very nasty about this. One representative asked me who did I talk to when I cancelled because there's no record.

We received a call from AT&T stati g they are contracted with Spectrum and can lower our TV viewing cost. As senior citizens we decided to try the service. We were told there was no long term contract. The service was fair.

The pictures and people did not match the words and we needed to reset constantly. , the representative did not tell us about HBO max and went a month before we new we had the service. 00 for equipment. We will not recommend this service to family and friends.

I can't believe you are planning on dropping OAN! I in return will be soon dropping Direct TV. I will also be dropping all my AT&T cell phone service in the near future. Direct TVs decision to drop OAN is similiar to Nazi Joseph Gobbels book burning.

I hear you are dropping One American News from your lineup. Obviously, you are not a bipartisan company. I heard this at an HOA meeting. A group of homeowners are looking into another cable company in our area. Many of us prefer Oann and Newsmax to the other liberal stations, but now we knows where Direct TV stands.

My wife and I had DirecTv for around 18 years . Every time our contract expired our bill would go up . We were loyal customers even after our contract expired but it didn't seem that DirecTv appreciated us much or our bill wouldn't have gone up so high .

Then , after years of watching my favorite news channel for years , DirecTv continually took it out of my package and I would have to get it put back in . I called and complained and warned them that if they did it again I would have DirecTv cut off and send their equipment back to them .

They promised me it wouldn't happen again so I tried to continue my service . The next day when I woke up to watch my favorite news channel it was cut out again . So I called them and told them to disconnect DirecTv .

I have been without TV service on and off for 3-4 weeks. the lady stated the appt. was scheduled for the afternoon. I took off work for this particular appt. only to find out it wasn't scheduled. I was informed by Paul that the appt.

was never scheduled and an appt hasn't been scheduled since December 2021. this has been the worst poor customer service ever. I have been treated poorly. then responded, "Oh, yes, I do see that a technician is scheduled to come out on the 8th. She lied.

I called customer service to request an extension on my bill. After being rudely treated by two reps, I filed a complaint & was contacted by a Tammy Delaney from the office of the president. She asked me to call her, but every time I try, I get her voicemail.

She calls me back, tells me to call her, but goes to voicemail again. I was overcharged for the $99 movers special, they charged $ 199. I want this resolved immediately or I am terminations my service w/ the company and going w/ another one.

I not only want the charges credited to my account but also free tv for my aggivation.

Why did your company arbitrarily choose to use black cable instead of the customary white for rewiring and installation? I have bee a long standing customer of Direct tv. I had to have some rewiring due to an installation problem caused by one of your former contractors. The cable/wiring he used was white. It was not readily evident to visitors. Imagine my surprise when the cable technician, Steve, (I bet that was not his real name), showed up with black cable. When I objected he said, "Well you can paint it." I am 75 years old and not in the best of health. Was he kidding? Did you use black cable just to save a little money for AT&T?

I am sorry I have to do business with your company. Please don't tell me, "The cables were bought in bulk". Or something like that.

You offer the Choice package for $69.99 for 12 months for new customers while i am an existing customer and i am paying $99.99 for the same package. I would like that price for 12 months too. AT&T advertises that they offer the same deals and promotions for new and existing customers, so why doesn't Direct Tv do the same..

I have had 4 technicians to my house over the past 2 weeks. They have installed new equipment and nothing works. I have 8 receivers and I constantly get error messages. I called the Directv client retention number and all they can offer me is a $21 credit for my inconveniences.

This is a joke as it is the holidays and we literally cannot watch football at home. Pathetic service.

I had a technician scheduled to come to my home today that was supposed to replace my receiver. The technician no called, no showed. I have been a customer with direct TV for almost 10 years. Stations that I pay for suddenly were no longer available on my television.

Account # 259375043: I left my home in Wisconsin in September and relocated to AZ, I am the only occupant in this home. I had an appointment back in Wisconsin on the 3rd of October and thought since I would be flying back it would be a good time to close down all I needed to in my home, including my TV service. I called DirecTV and put my account on VACATION on October 5th until I would return the 1st of May.

My mail just caught up to me and I have been billed on Auto Pay the FULL amount for both October and November and will again for December, as per the AT&T statement. Service starts to jump, go on and off, pop, crackle on the local channels. Called customer service and they did not even bother to run a trouble shoot on the line. Rep only wanted to sell me a upgrade which they previously lied to me about.

Rep then tried to set up a service call but then again wanted to sell me a service plan to cover the service call of $99. I have had my service way before any of this selling of service plans began and have been covered cost free or Direct has waived the service fee.

This is unacceptable and is not in my original contract.

This is not a complaint about overall service but of an instance where we were informed that ordering a new receiver suggested by the rep would be of no additional cost to us. Our monthly bill went up after that; clearly, the company lied to us.

People throw the word "free" around like candy on Halloween. It's apparently a way to lure customers into spending more money.

When you call to set up Direct TV there reps don’t really know what they are talking about. They said because we have AT&T I’d get a $15/month credit. He was incorrect and no way to get that credit or cancel my service. Terrible customer service!!!!!!

This was a waste of my afternoon. I had a install upgrade scheduled for 10/09/21 between noon and 4:00 PM. When I made the appointment it was contingent on them being able to to do a data transfer from the old genie to the new.

The rep assured me on the phone that it was possible even after i repeated the question 5 times, This was never possible in the past and I was surprised that it was suddenly available to do. AT&T rep showed up at 4:00, 1st question I asked was about a data transfer, of course the answer was NO.

The service technician NEVER did show but did call at 5:30 PM, I also asked him the same question with the same results. I've had Directv for 6 years now and I have NFL Sunday ticket. Twice in past I was told I would get a free year, bot times I ended up paying.

We signed up with Direct TV in June of 2020. In February of 2021 we added more TVs to our existing account. When we called in our request we were never informed that direct tv considers upgrades a new contract.

Since the upgrade we have had nothing but trouble with the service. It is no use having a direct tv send techs because they are only contractors that don't help. We want out of our contract when it should end June of 2022, but because direct tv hide the fact that upgrades are new contracts we will have to put up with bad service for 7 extra months.

This is nothing more than lying by omission.

I have been trying to get new direct tv installed for 7 weeks. They keep cancelling my contract and I’ve had to set it up from scratch 3 times. They have been a no call no show on 4 installation dates which I’ve had to miss work and rearrange my schedule.
