To Whom it may concern,

On July a phone call was placed to customer service billing to find out the total bill to pay to restore services. The agent to took the call provided the amount owe and to restore the cable tv but instead he cancel our direct tv services.

On August 31st the direct tv bill of $532.75 was paid in full and the internet and cable was not restore after payment. I called in customer service and they were able to restore the internet and to wait 2 hours before the cable is restore. After waiting for several hours. I spoke to 3 individuals from 3:45pm to midnight trying to find out why the cable was not restore. I called Direct TV the afternoon on September 10th and inquired about getting the NFL ticket free. This was only because I received the NFL package last year for free. The agent I spoke with indicated I could get the NFL ticket for free as he stated I was a long term customer.

We had a conversation for 10 15 minutes and he confirmed at the end of the call I would receive the free NFL ticket. I may have been passed through a couple different agents. Anyway I called today and was on the phone and computer most of the day as they must have been back logged.

I talked to the supervisor and the head supervisor who stated he didn’t have a boss. I asked for his supervisor. I asked him to pull the audio as it’s says all calls are recorded. He stated something about not having access to this.

On three different days, three stations I had been paying for, were suddenly canceled. After spending over 35 minutes on hold in each case I was advised that they had changed their packages. All of which would now cost more of cause. They could care less.

If I had another option I would have canceled my service. The Bigger the corporation the less they care about customer service. If you have a choice stay away from Direct TV

I have your system since 9/2/2021. LESS THAN 3 WEEKS! It has been NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. I have spoken to UNTOLD numbers of representatives, totaling an EXCESS OF 25 HOURS IN THE LAST WEEK. In addition to actually speaking to various people,, I have also UNTOLD AMOUNT OF TIME texting to your staff.

Among the ppl I have dealt with is a "social media specialist" Her direct line is 1800 417 1757 ext 5767. It has been determined I need new equipment, HOWEVER, Noone can be here until 10/6/2021. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS!

My current system shuts down randomly several times a day! sometimes it takes HOURS! Sometimes the receiver can communicate with the dish/satellite and sometimes not...... YOUR SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!

I had Direct TV since 2003. The service was pretty good until AT&T took over. Prices started going up so I decided to switch to another cable provider which was much more affordable. I canceled the services on 9/7/21 but was told I would be charged for the full month of September (through 9/30/21) because they don’t prorate charges.

I escalated this to a Supervisor in the “Loyalty” department who told me it’s policy and there was nothing they could do for me. I told them this was a policy implemented by AT&T after my service started and I have no contract but they would still not give me any credits or adjust my account.

It’s fraudulent and bad business to charge for services not rendered. They have lost a customer for life!

I received a replacement receiver that could not be activated, and my old one was deactivated. 5 hrs today and I still don’t have access to watch TV. I was told it would be 3 days before I got another replacement receiver.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - Directv has an on-going attack from fraudsters and there's no urgency in getting it fixed - just blaming the customer and telling me there's no way Directv cahn take ANY responsibility

My father was scammed via an alleged directv employee giving me a ebay promotion. The result would take my payment to $50/month which is what I was paying a few months ago and then was recently raised to $101/month.

He had to pay 10 months up front via an ebay gift card - due to ebay promotion. I didn't know at the time that was a scam. Well ... is.

He verfied it was a directv employee by checking that the appropriate changes were made to my account - saw that the sports package including NFL sunday ticket was added to my account just like the agent said.

I am a new customer trying to get service installed. I have now had 3 appointments which I have always confirmed almost daily and no technician shows up. I drive 90 miles to get to the service address, as it is a weekend home and then no show.

I am VERY frustrated and wondering why I cancelled Dish to go with you. The support people are very nice but they can’t do anything but tell me to basically reschedule. They tell he dispatch will call but never do.

the directtv box started this thing wants to reset 5 or6 times a day all at once. contact them and ask them what they did to start this crap. never had a problem until now. now they want to charge me a service call to fix their dam problem.

I have been a loyal customer since 2015. I called and had my name changed on my account after getting married nothing else. We sold our house a few short months later. I was told because I changed my name it put me into a new contract. 00.

I cannot rap my mind around this. I asked to be sent to customer complaint department. The service tech in customer service said they would have to call me back. I have yet to hear from anyone. But I got my bill in the mail.

I will NEVER be with Direct TV again. When our new home is finished being built we will definitely use a competitor. I also will be sharing my experience on all my social media sites.

When AT&T took over Direct TV I knew it was not for the good. If you have an issue (which you will) they are horrible to deal with. Twice in less than a month I had to have a tech come to the house.

Appointment could not be be until several days after the problem started. They said the tech would be there between 4-6 pm. After several text messages prior to and day of the appointment they said appointment was on time so make sure someone is there.

Day of service the same. But the time came and went so I texted the number and within minutes the tech called me to say he was not going to make it and I would have to reschedule. This happened again three weeks later when another different issue popped up. Same exact thing.

Installers tried to upswell as soon as they got to my residence,and complained about having to run new wires also they did not wear a mask or gloves while in my house ,also dumped their garbage ,wires food containers and soda cans in the “recycle bin”such unprofessionalism showed I wouldn’t recommend Direct tv to anyone,they are truly a joke,they also contacted me 2times prior to arrival to sell me alarm system and phone service ,I was hung up on when I declined

I am 69 years old, disabled, and on very limited income. My DirecTV bill kept going up and up till it got ridiculous! ,) I had to accept a lot I refuse to watch!

Finally, late last month, I called in to Customer Service and found out I could keep my local channels (Nashville, TN market) for under $60 a month if I returned two of my cable boxes. I agreed to that. DirecTV was to notify me of the return address, but I never heard from them.

After a period of time, I called DirecTV again and spoke to someone named “King”. He spoke VERY fast, had a very pronounced accent, talked over me when I tried to ask questions, and was very condescending when I asked him to slow his speech down.

Contacted customer service with an issue. During phone call they made the usual pitch to add additional channels for the 3 month introductory price. Told them no did not accept the offer. Few hours later received email from Direct TV outlining the changes I had authorized.

The customer service agent had actually added the extra channels to my account even though I said NO. Immediately called customer service again and supposedly the extras have been removed.

However, in a previous identical situation they tried to add a REMOVAL fee to my bill for the channels that were not authorized but added anyway. Either this is a scam Direct TV is doing to unsuspecting customers or some of their customer service agents are scamming customers in order to gain commissions of some kind.

I’d give a zero rating if I could. Been waiting on a service tech for 3 days. No show, no call, hung up on multiple times and had to call back. I’ve been blamed for the issue by their loyalty department. Issue still unresolved.

I’m paying for service I haven’t had in 3 days, went home early from work to be here for scheduled service time just to be blown off 2 days in a row and had to take a whole day the third day because someone incompetent didn’t schedule my appointment properly- I was confirmed 8-12 and now told tech from 12-4.

I’ve been with ATT 27 years and direct TV for 15 years and how I’m treated as a loyal customer is just absolutely absurd. Since Sunday, and it is now Wednesday, I’ve spoken to at least 14 different people who’s promised me they’ll help me.

Bad lazy installation, cables on the ground none secured and connectors are not crimped. The junction splitter and 5 cables on the ground in high grass. When the lawn guy cut the grass he cut the cables off. Could've been seriously injured.

I told the service man that the installation was half ass and it hurt his feelings so they have refused to repair it. He also sent me a message that I was a ugly person with a foul mouth and no one wants to go here.

I have been on the phone with numerous company reps trying to purchase 4 new HD receivers. Everyone I speak with gives me a number to a local dealer that does not answer the phone nor returns a call from the message that was left. I have never had this hard of a problem trying to purchase new equipment.

This installation is horrible, the cables are on the ground and not secured the connectors are not crimped. My lawn guy cut the cables off with the lawn mower because of the grass being high. Told the service man who called for repair appt it was half ass install.

I tried to upgrade my service plan and they were trying to get me to get this item I did not want. One person transferred me a 3rd party caller when I said I didnt want it he abruptly ended my call.

I thought I waa going to get the upgrade I never got. Then I tried again she said for a 25% discount tried to get me to buy a new phone I thought it was a discount for the bill.

I am 94 years old and I’m at my wits end with AY&T customer service. Hopefully, this post will get someone’s attention at AT&T DIRECTV or I will file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, AARP, and the Attorney General.

I wrote a letter on May 20, 2021 to the "AT&T Office for Dispute Resolution in Atlanta” and also forwarded a copy of that letter to “AT&T Corporate Headquarters in Dallas” requesting the cancellation of my DIRECTV service due to unresolved and ongoing billing errors. As I explained in that letter, there should have been a zero balance on my account. I have received no response from either letter.

Let me start by saying we have been a customer since around 2004. I've had so many issues from inconsistent billing, features not working, paying for the NBA league pass outright and then being double billed the list goes on.

Most recent issue is our channels would freeze and skip and pixelate, we changed HDMI cords even bought a different tv still had trouble. We called and received an appointment a week or so out for Saturday June 12, 2021 with a 12pm to 4pm window.

We received multiple text messages starting June 8 confirming the appointment. On June 12 at about 1pm I replied to a text asking for a status and was told that tech should be there 12pm -4pm, again at 156pm, 232pm & 351pm each time being told tech should be here between 12pm - 4pm.

I was trying to get a service tech out to my house to see if they could re-align my satellite because service goes out everytime it rains. The customer service person that I spoke with was trying to tell me that I needed to check the satellite myself and that during bad weather this happens. I already knew that.

She also stated that I could be charged a service charge if a service tech came out. If comcast was available in the area where I live I would have changed my service right then. Why would I pay a service fee for someone to come out and re-align the satellite?

I pay enough for the service as it is. I guess I'm stuck with bad service and terrible customer service.

I had Direct TV in NY for 18 years and switched back to it when I moved to Las Vegas from Cox but, ever since they updated their software/programming awhile ago and added a screen saver of sorts I have had issues with the screen locking up going from the saver back to regular programming.

I have also had the remote not get a response from the main box (it does not seem to happen in the repeaters in other rooms) when it does finally respond it runs all the commands that were hit while trying to get the response at first. With the screen lockup only a hard/soft reboot will get the system back to an operating condition.

As for the remote, I believe that the main box and/or operating system to be the issue because I have have removed the batteries and reinstalled them with no change. I…

Tried to make phone calls about a DIRECT TV, tv/receiver box being out after a storm on 7/31/21, called on 8/4/21 & 8/5/21.

Finally got someone on the phone on 8/5/21, new service line,1-877-406-1363. # 1-800-531-5000 would not answer. After speaking to people on new service line, I could not understand the people on the phone, foreign people, could not understand them. Set appointment for 8/7/21.

Customer Service people would not schedule an appointment, without setting up a protection plan. They came today, 8/7/21 at 9:30 am. Direct TV was fine as long as I was a paying customer. After we decided to unplug and disconnect service with them is when the problem started. Returning the equipment was almost impossible. Direct promised cardboard box and shipping label that never arrived. (3) times I called.

Direct blocked my account number from UPS so I could NOT ship the equipment back.

Finally the UPS manager manually typed up a return label and took the equipment for shipping. I find Direct to be incompetent or crooked. Was Direct planning on sending a bill for unreturned equipment when making it impossible to return the equipment?

99 last year. The repairman said it would cover the replacements of all TVs at no cost. I realize the repair person got a commission for selling me the plan. I am a long time customer of Direct and because of that I trusted the plan. 00.

I get a email today which said it couldn’t be repaired and that I was covered for a replacement. 00 with no replacement. 00 for protection plan which turns out to be useless. I feel like I have been scammed by Direct TV.

I called in to speak to a supervisor and the rep would not transfer me. I told her i didnt not want to speak to her as i was upset and didnt want to take it out on her. I also told her that i have talked to reps and they are not helping so she needed to transfer me to a supervisor.

I had directv installed on July 7 2021. There was a large amount of damage done to my new carpet. Your tech created a 9ft run in my new carpet. I age. Filed a claim. That took 75mins. Now I am told someone cancelled the appointment. I used work hours to be at home for the appointment and now have to wait at home for another appointment.

i do not know why a simple mailing address to return a receiver is so hard to get. now i have to wait for a mailing label to be sent to me. why couldn't i get an address over the phone?

i would have been done, the receiver on it's way back. i have been trying to return it for a week. i was told when i called and got the replacement that everything i would need to return the one that did not work would be in the box with the new one. and it wasn't!

very aggravating for someone that does not have extra time on their hands!

DirectTv refuses to honor their mail ‘Come Back’ offer stated at 69.99 for the Choice package which along with a 100.00 Visa card. I purchased a basic cable plan in 2019 it included the 5 local channels that I frequently watch. 00. 00. They have been charging me for a sports package without my consent. Prior to this they were charging me for a premium channel package that I did not request.

The sales people are poorly trained and are constantly up charging without permission for the sake of a bonus or sales commission. VERY DECEPTIVE!!! Once caught they refuse to refund your money.

I canceled my service on jun 10 2021 and returned all the receivers and i am still being billed for non-return of equipment and have called and spoken to staff four times giving them the tracking numbers each time. 50 for equipment non-return witch i have already given them the tracking numbers for four times !!

I am still waiting fore my refund and it has already been over 30 days witch is more than you wait if some one owes. you money why ?? I plan on filing a complaint with the FCC and the BBB and maybe small claims court.
