My father passed away. My dish equipment was in his house. I called Dish and asked to have my service put on pause while we went through probate. They ended up adding another month bill and so I got frustrated and shut off my service.

I explained to multiple people that the house was in probate and I had no access to my stuff. In turn now dish network has sent my due balance to a debt collector!!!! Seriously???? This is ridiculous. Thanks for the sympathy after a death in my family let alone any time of human respect.

I had an appointment on 08/26/21 between 12 and 5. AT 5 pm i had not heard anything from dishnetwork so I called customer service and was told they needed to reschedule the appointment and the first available opening would be 09/02/21.

so not only did i wait all afternoon for them to come to install my service but now, after i contacted them, they wanted to reschedule for a week later. if lthey couldn't make the appointment on they scheduled day at the scheduled time they should have called and spoke with me about it and i should be their first appointment the next day not a week later.

i consider this extremely poor customer service and will never deal with dishnetwork ever again, and i will tell everybody i can about what a terrible company they are.

have had dish service since 1/21/20. Horrible installation! cable was run in through patio door where I could never close patio door for over a year till I had a friend fix it. then they strung it up and down walls, tacking it to drywall and to top it off have a cord running across hallways tacked to floor where I had to buy a run so hopefully no one would trip on it going in and out of the bedroom. Absolute mess.

Service was ok until you lost NBC for a while. I recently bought a home so I am no longer in the apt i had cable service for. I called today to cancel as we are not getting cable out at new house was was told to cancel it will cost $480! 60 What the H??

As a promotion in June 2021. I received a $300 debit card from Dish. I tried to use it, but it would not accept my password. I have followed up in every way I can figure out, but have gotten no help.

Basically, all I have wanted to do is reset my password. The name of Sunrise Bank is on the back----they are no help. com is also listed. They are no help and told me my account 5445-4362-1160-1321 does not exist---it is in my hand as I write this.

So, what can you do?

customer rep. Byron 7CC is operator number he gave me. He was very rude and tried multiple times to inform me that we were still under contract and could not terminate service without early termination fee after sitting on the phone for over an hour with 3 different people before him.

He tried to force me to keep service instead of just terminating and also tried to tell me that we had signed a contract when we had not. He lied tried to manipulate me until I told him that I had done this work before and knew what he was doing.

Then he was surprisingly cooperative. I was transferred twice in order to get to this guy. He claimed he was working from home as well and I could not speak to his supervisor. He then proceeded to claim to cancel my service and set up a supposed call back with his…

I called in to discontinue our service. All I received was a sales speech to keep us from discontinuing our service. I told the representative twice that I had already changed service and was not going to change my mind but that did not stop him from selling me. I finally told him I wanted his supervisor to call me back and hung up. Of course, no one called back because they really don't care about their customers. All they want is your money.

I then called back to the corporate office, a different phone number and representative. Told her what I wanted and she started to help me out. Then the conversation turned again to a sales pitch. I finally told her to quit wasting my time and told her goodbye.

17 years. That's how long I've been with DISH. 5 HOURS to CANCEL the service and they now want to charge me $15 per BOX to send their equipment back I have 5 pieces of equipment. That's $75 TO CANCEL their service after paying them over $150 a year for 17 years.

I don't like the idea of dish taking off my local channels. CBS, ABC, and FOX. I live in the country and can't receive my local channels with antenna. That's why I have DISH satellite. I switched from Direct tv over the same disputes.

My mom, Norma Chavez is paying for channels. I don't think it's right you guys the cable company dish network are taking out channels. You guys think no one will notice the channels taking out like Tvland 106 channel and put the USA 105 not right at all. I told my mom, she going change you guys out to a another cable company. I called and inquired about a faster internet service. net. It sounded good until at the end of the call, they read off (as fast as she could) the rules and regs. I said no, I do not want to sign another contract for 2 years, I have been with Dish for 15 years and did not think it was necessary.

The agent insisted and insisted until I said, no, just leave my internet as it is. This service is at my summer home so when I arrived there, I found there was NO internet service. After a frustrating phone call, I found that the agent had shut off all internet service just because I did not want Hughes net and there is no way to turn it back on to what it was the week before.

Need to cancel my service because of finances, which my contract is up Sept. 9. Was told long ago to call the 9th or 10th of August. I call on the 9th and after an hour on the phone with the agent I was told that I needed to call back on the 10th.

I liked dish up to this point, after many years of service. But this is BS. I will never reconsider going back to them.

Poor customer service . hung up on by a manager.

First of all told by a manager that while im away on vacation i can put my service on vacation pause but omits telling me that if i do that the two year contract that dish agreed to honor with me would not be honored but would expect me to fulfill it.

Lied to by a manager that they did put me on the vacation pause and the finding out they did not. Then several male manager being literally assholes to me in the way they talked to me. I have been an excellent customer of dish tv payments on time every month time for me to find another company Im tired of lies and being bullied.

I canceled dish due to covid 19 lost my job and had to move out of my home. I called to tell them and obviously they did not care they wanted to charge me $220 for canceling early did not respect or care about my problems.

I then received an email from my bank that they had taken the $220 out of my account without authorization the count was not enrolled in auto pay And I've always paid it through my bank and on time at that. This is a disgrace that dish network would treat somebody like this and actually go into their account and take money out.

Could I possibly give a negative rating less than zero. We live in a mountain community. We have scheduled 3 appointments including the install.

First appointment kept getting messages pushing back then next day. Second appointment same thing. Now todays appointment again pushed to another day. Then customer service rep tried to talk over me. Nope that didn’t work. Doesnt matter dish wins. We are stuck waiting.

In June I received my bill and was not expecting an increase on my Dish bill. I did not receive an email, text, or a phone call that my 2 year agreement was up. I called Dish and went under another package for the next 2 years.

So I paid what I normally paid and waited for next month bill. 00 added from last months bill which should have been waived. I called again on July and after talking to a representative that talked to me like I was 5, I asked to talk to a Supervisor.

When the supervisor got on the line it was breaking up and I could not really understand him. Eventually I just had enough and hung up. How can you just raise someone's bill without notifying them first? I am extremely dissatisfied about how I was treated and there was no resolution to the problem.

We signed up for Dish Network service in June 2021 and have had to call them at least once a week for multiple problems, stayed on the call for up to 2 hours each call. Problems Wrong equipment sent

Talked to several different people trying to figure a way for Dish Network to work in our RV and home using the same equipment, never happened the way we were first told.

Free movie certificates, When we signed up they said oder any movie, and use the certificate, we did and was charged, could not be credited to our account. Now we are stuck in the contract.

I had dish for 14 years! My receiver began freezing and I called 4 times to try to get it fixed. I was told I would have to sign up for 3 more years to get a hopper!!! I canceled since I couldn’t watch it anyway.

I called Dish Network the recording stated that I could get an upgrade for free. We have been their customer for years but this time has really burned me up, the way they have handled things this time has really really upset me and to think what a fine company has gone to the dogs to stoop that low.

Git on the phone during the conversation I took out the upgrade until I was told that it was going to cost me another 8 dollars a month plus 24 month commitment. That is when I backed out of the deal and the the tech over the phone told me that when my system broke down that I would have to upgrade then and it would cost me that extra regardless.

Had for over 2 yrs and cancelled they claim I ordered 2 more joyes which increased my contract not to my knowledge I do not owe cancelation fees the they illegally charged 380 to my cc 3 months after they were cancelled which my cc challenged for me as they have a recorded request to remove auto pay now they have increased the cancellation fees to 600+ and reported to credit bureau dropping my score 100 points and refuse to remove it I do not owe this debt I intend to file charges against them for illegally charging my cc , wrongfully ruining my credit and constant harassment

Your company has terrible billing system. You charge for items I don't want. Your cash application is terrible, I get calls that my bill is past due when its not. I want a credit for my trouble. Your company needs people that carre about customer service.

I was trying to connect upper management about a complaint and online it listed erik.carlson@dish.com but funny it says it is not valid. In 2018 I decided to try satellite TV and get rid of my cable, Dish had sent me a offer in the mail. It was for a number of channels, and high speed internet. After I had agreed to the service,but on the same phone call I was informed that the high speed internet was not available in my neighborhood.

I then made it very clear I did not want one without the other. Fast forward a few months later, I turned on my pay as you go satellite, and when I got the bill,they tried to charge me 200 buck's for termination of a 2 year contract.

It took a long time to get that fixed, they finally went back and listened to the recording. Since then every time I turn on my pay as you go, they try to charge me again. I am at my wit's end have no idea what to do next

You raised my bill 40+ dollars. Not acceptable. What kind of service is that? You should know you will lose loyal customers. I called to get a less expensive plan and was asked what channel is important to me to keep and I told him 192 Investigation discovery. Yet it's gone. So I called back to ask why? Why would you bother to ask what channel I want to keep if you are going to take it away anyway? He said it's an extra $6.00 a month extra to keep ID channel 192. No thanks Dish, and your horrible customer service and lies. I will be moving on as soon as possible.

I spoke with a representative who said there was nothing he could do to reduce the price of my monthly bill. I explained to him I had been waiting patiently for several months for my Fox and NBC channel to return to my lineup.

He seemed as he didn't care I was frustrated. I asked if he could reduced my bill by giving me a credit to my account. I was placed on hold for 40 minutes until a supervisor finally came on the phone.

The supervisor stated this was tech support. I was transferred to the wrong supervisor. I finally spoke with another supervisor, Maxine in advance accounts. The supervisor in advance account was very professional, and show compassion regarding my problem. I did receive a credit but I am still not satisfied with the service I received.

I am trying to possibly purchase another surround sound bar. Need 2 remotes and a remote for surround bar I already have. Tried to schedule a service call. Offered to pay. Talked to 3 foreign people who I could not understand and who refused to set up a service call.

I have been a customer for man years. If this is not resolved I am changing carriers and filing a vomplaint with BBB. What has happened to the easy to deal with company I used to know? Very customer unfriendly. I am 75.

We made a contract with the Dish Network for two years, it all went well until Dish Network decided to drop the sports channel, 90% of the time all we watch is the sport channel, I called and asked if the sport channel was a temporary disconnect due to negotiations with the prices on certain channels.

After calling several times for the return of the sports channel I was told the spots channel would not be returning due to customers not watching the channel enough, I asked if there was a penalty for terminating my service before the two year contract, they came up with a $220 agreement from me for terminating before my two years were up. I called a lawyer and the advice I got from him because Dish breach of my contract I can drop with out any legal fees.

We have been with dish for over 20 years since the 90s we've been very pleased with Dish all this time until we bought a Tailgater we have had problems with the tailgater. We have spent a lot of hours in 45 days we've made at least 45 phone calls every day every other day trying to resolve this problem it becomes a network problem, a satellite problem, not sure where the problem is but it has not been solved.

I have had Dish for the last two and 1/2 years. About a month ago my local channels were not available. I contacted Dish and a repair person came and told me the local stations had been moved to another series of numbers.

About three weeks after that I stopped receiving local channels again. The repair person who came informed me that Dish had moved the local stations to another satellite (219) and that because of my location I do not have a direct line of site.

Never once did Dish contact us that they were moving the local stations and we might not receive them. I would like a response from Dish, but they are hiding behind their large corporation.

Told me not to call At&t when I called him about the large bills I was getting and he said he would fix it. Now I found out that he is not with Dish. 00 gift card. WHAT KIND OF COMPANY ARE YOU RUNNING?

My mother-in-law recently passed away My husband called to discontinue her service and make provisions to return the equipment. The representative tried to transfer him to another department to renegotiate the service. My husband reemphasized that all he wanted to do was cancel the service and the representative continued to try and manipulate the conversation toward purchasing an alternative service.

The conversion escalated and the representative admonished my husband for being rude. The rep finally processed the cancellation request and would not allow my husband to request an address to which to send the shipping materials to return the hardware.
