The lady checking out is always in a bad mood I have seen her snap at people more than once over cc machine. I go there almost everyday and yesterday she raised her voice to me.i have been in retail 45 years and understand stress. My company is closed due to virus but yet this employee still has a job she is not grateful for.

I would like to make a small correction to the complaint which I just made with regard to Dollar General, and that is, that the date on which I received this poor customer service, was the 24th of March, not the 25th of March. I just realized my typo, that I had listed the date as the 25th in my previous complaint, and I wanted to clarify that. While I do not know the name of the male employee whom I am referring to in this complaint, there were only two Dollar General employees in the entire store at that time, so, that narrows it down. The only other Dollar General employee in the store at 7:30 p.m., on March 24, 2020, was a woman. Thank you in advance for your assistance, it is much appreciated.

The Dollar General in Corunna, Michigan stated that they are not going to follow the elderly hour for shopping that was put in place. They also refused to refund the bottle deposits on my Clover Valley bottles. I knew nothing of this!

If you're not going to honor the deposits that this location charges for, then they shouldn't be selling products that have a deposit. It is illegal in the State of Michigan to charge bottle deposits and not accept returns. If this continues, I will be contacting the Attorney General.

I went to store #15067 936 Rt 115. Saylorsburg PA on March 18th @ 11:00am. I was looking to buy toilet paper for my 80 yr old mother. As I was walking up to the back aisle where they have it, a worker and customer were talking about supplies being limited.

I mentioned that I have been looking for toilet paper for my mom, she lives in NJ. Suddenly the worker was very nasty and loud and proceeded to tell me it was against the law to buy it here and take it across state lines.

Windom MN needs more staff. They can’t keep up with stocking shelves. This is the only store in our town that provides the variety of idems other than our grocery store. We have no place else to shop. You can’t keep staff because they are worked to death.

I drove 40+ miles just to leave this store empty handed. The idiot cashier refused to take my coupons. Though they were the correct products and followed the stores coupon policy. I had over $100 worth of products in my cart and walked out.

Tonight I visited the DG in Westville, IN and I was disgusted by the appearance of this store. Merchandise was mess, not in just one department but in many departments. The one and only time it clean was when it was remodeled and I stated to the manager then I hope it stays clean and organized.

I have a complaint about the store manager and assistant manager sharron and dawn at the lake George Michigan store 48633. We have a small town and dollar general moved here a few years back. When the locals go in to shop and disagree in opinions with either of the 2 woman I mention they are rudely told they are banned from shopping there and never to come back.

I can see if it were someone stealing or destroying property but I could not believe my years. I have been a district auto parts manager for 20 years now if that happened in one of my stores heads would spin.

I live in Seymour Missouri where we have one Dollar General Store. I am a frequent shopper at DG and the employees there are very nice. I have no complaints about customer service in that aspect...

However, the store is supposed to open at 8am and almost never does. I drop my children off at school at 8am sharp and on most days, I need to run by dollar general before work to grab a few things for the day.

Almost every day, I'm sitting in the parking lot, waiting for 5-10 min for the employee (it's usually the manager) to arrive. She will pull up to the store and unlock the doors while ppl are standing outside waiting and she always blames traffic for her being late.

Spencerville, Ohio Dollar General.

Each time I enter this store, I am greeted with aisles filled with rolling, item racks. Half of the aisles are impossible to go down because they are full of these racks. You cannot easily turn your cart. This has to be a fire code violation. Also, on my trip today. I had to stand and wait for the cashier to finish her ever, important phone usage.

I used to shop at Dollar General all the time. I overlook the fact that the stores are always unorganized and that your company never has enough employees to handle all the customers. It's almost inevitable to end up waiting in line for long periods because of this and that is so unfair to your hardworking employees.

I just left DG in Haslet, TX 76052, but while I was there I witnessed an unprofessional situation. A customer rang the bell at the register because the cashier was not there. A minute or two later he rang the bell again and I heard the cashier yell "I'll be right there" with an attitude.

I heard the customer say "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know you could hear me" in a polite manner. " When I got to the register I looked at her name tag and it said Phyllis. I want you to be aware of the unprofessional manner in which she displayed.

My husband purchased 4 ,6 packs of mountain dew. One pack was diet zero. He also clipped and used a coupon from the app. When the total came up he questioned the cashier about the coupon not coming off. She said she would fix it.

When he returned I noticed the receipt was charged for 4. The coupon was buy 3 get 1 free. He returned the very next day and she said that he could not return a food item and sent him back home.

This is the fourth time I've had trouble with this store honoring the coupons that are clipped in the app. I will not shop at this location again . I'm sorry for the complaint. But this is 4th time we've made to feel bad for using debt.

i have been in the dollar general on hwy 5 in jasper alabama numerous times and I will never go back. The store manager there is something else. very rude. She is the older lady with gray hair. The store #10848 in Krebs Oklahoma is very dirty. This needs to be looked into if at all possible. I understand that some days employees are just so busy time gets away but this store is just down right dirty.

I was threatened by another customer waiting in line. He said i stared at him and then threatened to kick my ass. He wouldn't quit running his mouth saying how he was going to beat me up. The guy at the register did nothing.

It was at the Bristol Virginia store on Euclid ave between 12:40 and 12:55 on 22FEB20. Other customers were scared, If you have video at the check out line you should watch it and not allow this guy back in your store.

We were there today 2/22/2020 shelves are not stocked carts with stock sitting everywhere Can't get to anything because of carts This is ridiculous This was always a problem at the old store Now that they have moved to newer and bigger location it's still an issue. m. today (2/22/20) I visited the DG store in Lively, Virginia. When I approached the store two person where setting in chairs smoking cigarettes!! I was shocked to see this. As I was paying for my item, I asked the cashier why do you have persons smoking in front of the store. m.

I always stop in Dollar General to get most of my supplies. For the past couple months everytime I go in the Dollar General in Rice Lake, WI I have become more and more angry. There is a lot of areas where the same shelves are empty. I have talked to a cashier about when the products will be in. There response is "the truck will be here Tuesday(?) and we get them out right away." Wrong, the shelves are still half empty. So I ask if there is a product and I'm told that it's probably in the back with other things they have not gotten to unload.

What is going on with this store? Are you planning on closing it? If one of you walked in there you would be discussed at the shape of the store. Am I going to have to take my business some where else? A very disappointed customer.

The Dollar General on old Jackson road. 62 old Jackson road. Is run very poorly. The customer does not count! I have been to this location on several occasions. Sometimes there is a nice cashier(an older lady during the day.

However there is a young black girl there now named Shan, that makes the customer feel like she is doing us a favor. Last night i was the only person in the store, I waited at the counter for a while and then leaned over the counter to see her sitting on the floor counting money.

Visit 2 of your stores in Grove City walked through whole store. I fine empty shelves. Lots of boxes ready to be on shelves. One store 2 employees standing & talking for at least 10 minutes. I would expect someone would ask if they could find anything or assist me in someway. I think i could walked away with several items. I made a purchase for my non- profit organization on February 10, 2020 for Valentine items, before I made the purchase I ask the associate as well as the cashier if the items were refundable. I was assured to make sure I keep my receipts and there will be no problem.

I return the next day with some of the items along with my paid receipt and was told that you don't make refund exchange only. This was not for me, I was buying this for a non-profit organization. We had some of the items that I purchase donated to us, therefore I didn't need an exchange.
