I sell my first item, a perfume, on eBay. The seller payed the postage, as required from eBay team, about £2.75. I tried to send the item with the carriers that eBay advise (Evri, Yodel) but the perfume is a “prohibited item” for them so nobody was happy to help me qnd deliver the item.
I contacted the buyer and I posted myself, paying from my pocket £4.50, with a Royal Mail. In all this time I kept in touch with the buyer and reassure that the perfume will be with her soon. The item was received, the buyer happy and they also released a Feedback, a 5 stars review for me, criticising the eBay because of the sending issues and also because she was charged for the postage but actually I payed for it, so I’m wondering where £2.75 went ?

First off they allow criminals sell things, afterwards if there is a problem there is no way to resolve the problem , they support the criminals . I purchased a so called Authentic fendi bag , arrived, in 2 weeks the bag starts falling apart, I take it to Fendi store they tell me it's a fake .
I try to contact Ebay and no response, the seller also disappeared. Been waitingnfor response, and after months I keep trying to contact them , there is absolutely no way .
Finally someone calls me back and keep telling me I'm passed my 34 days . There has to be a way for them to hold sellers responsible for the fraud they are committing.

Ebay's CS was extremely rude. Their seller charges information is extremely convoluted and hard to follow. I called customer service to help get some clarity and the representative was so rude to me and kept saying "I already told you" when I was asking for clarification and kept cutting me off when I was talking.
They just said call your bank and wouldn't give me any instructions to understand their (Ebay's) charges to my account. What does my bank know about their business? Call my bank and say what? Explain Ebay's charges to me? When I asked her to be kind and help me she refused to be kinder, when I asked for a manger she said there is no manager, then she said I can't contact Ebay CS for another 24-48 hours since I already contacted them today.

Every time I have an issue with a seller or a buyer (I have done both), it is a nightmare, all because of EBAY. They make a ton of money and give zero in return. All their people are out their on their own.

EBay refuses to refund me for an item I never received. Ebay has never stood by their claim to be guaranteed. I loss hundreds of dollars and they never refunded my losses on EBay.
Ebay allows fraudulent seller that has stolen my personal information, to continue selling under my identity, they will not shut them down, and they will not resolve the issue regarding the 1099K tax form they sent me. I reported this fraud, over and over and nothing gets done.
I am very unhappy with ebay. I made an order for a 256gb flash drive. I got the flash drive and it will only let me put 60gb on it. Seller would not send a return label. Very frustrating and disappointed.

I'm an eBay seller who got scammed by a buyer who returned an item broken and eBay stated the refund would be reversed and my money released. They refunded buyer and did not reverse the refund or even part of it.
Buyer had threatened negative feedback if things didn't go well for him. eBay allowed this although I reported feedback extortion. Now I'm told I didn't send the label, another lie as I bought it through eBay the day of return request.

I recently sold an item on ebay with my seller account. The item was sold on 1-27-23. I took the package to the post office on Saturday 1-28-23. The buyer received the item on 1-30-23 which was a day earlier than expected. The buyer had messaged me saying that he received it early and it works great. My big problem with this is the funds on hold. I do not feel that I should have to wait a month for my funds to be released, a the buyer gave a good review and even messaged me directly about it. I bought a Microsoft tablet on ebay. Seller shipped promptly using the dreaded ebay global shipping program. I should know better, I typically do not buy from sellers using the GSP. They sent a defective product. They promised to send replacement parts and partial refund. They gave a tracking number for the parts that was not valid and never sent a refund.
That neither eBay or it's British sellers have bothered to let buyers know about the ongoing problems with Royal Mail, that delivery time can span months, that Royal Mail tracking numbers are useless, and no updates are given. British sellers need to suspend selling until a way to ship internationally is found.

On January 14, I received an email from ebay saying a listing had been removed because it didn't follow policy. I wasn't given a reason for it other than that. It was a Monet necklace signed Monet. I didn't put any other names or anything inappropriate in the listing. I talked to someone THREE times on the phone about it, and the best answer that I got was that a name brand can't be used in the listing title. However, there are a lot of listings using the name Monet in the title. I did a search on ebay for Monet necklaces and found MANY MANY listings using that brand name in the title. I received very poor and rude customer service from an eBay customer service representative working eBay's Facebook page. The rep's name is Tania. This person was judgmental from the start and picked sides(which she is not supposed to do). She basically accused me of some type of wrongdoing which was totally aside from the actual question I was asking her about.
I felt belittled and betrayed. I have been a member of eBay for over 20 years and she treated me like trash. The Tania person has zero customer service skills and should not be in a position to work directly with the public.
I received a dress that was being sold as "new". It had the tags on it. It also had a red stain under the bustline which was not visible in the advertised photos. 50.
