I am a small seller of rare plants locally and in early Sept. 2021 I hired a local social media nerd to help promote and sell our stock online and create a media presence to help us grow. He ( Derek Trombly) opened an Ebay account and listed 3-4 plants for auction and the plants sold and were delivered to their new owners with no complaints or issues.

Unfortunately, Derek didn't last long as our employee and we parted ways after a few weeks. Sometime around Sept 24th 2021 I recieved an email from Ebay saying our account had been "permanently suspended". We contacted Derek but he said it had nothing to do with him he had not even accessed the account since he was fired.

I have been a seller on eBay for 4 years. In those 4 years I achieved "top rated" seller and never once have I received a complaint from a buyer about selling counterfeit items. I do not sell the typical items that people counterfeit (Louis Vuitton,, etc).

of my items from my store claiming that I was selling counterfeit items. That same day I called them 3 times to discuss this. The first 2 people had no clue about the subject. The 3rd person could only say that the restriction was done by the "back office".

I then asked to be transferred to the "back office". The agent tells me that they do not have a direct number and when I ask her to please have them call me she tells me that isn't possible. So, basically they have accused me of selling counterfeit items and put me in prison for…

Well I bought a car cover from ebay and they assured that the car cover would fit but when it arrived it didn't fit at all so now I'm here with this stretch ou of shape car cover that ebay is saying they wants return . Now this is going cost me more money to return so I feel they needs to refund my money but they want me to spend more of my money to return.

I don't feel this is the way to treat a loyal customer at all but this how they treat there loyal customers and this is not right !!!!!!

I've been buying on eBay for 22 years. I decided to sell 1 item last week and when I was paid I was required to put in ACH Band information to receive payment. After receiving payment, I tried to delete my ACH Bank information as I don't want it out there. Lo and behold, you cannot delete your ACH Bank information unless you put in another bank account. Even if you never want to sell. The only solution is to cancel your account and wait 30 days. I'm sure I should have read more about selling before selling but I was comfortable enough after buying for 22 years.

What a terrible payment policy. What terrible customer service. After 22 years...good riddance.

If it would let me rate 0 I would but it will not let me. Do not get wrapped up in ebay. Read every single word in their lengthy contracts and rules because they will con you out of your money one way or another.

I put one item on eBay after my father passed away. It was a portable oxygen machine. Ebay did not tell me that it is illegal to sell personal medical equipment, but I told them about it and why would I have it on there if I couldn’t sell it so

I informed them that I was taking it off and they promptly charged me $189 dollars just for listing it and then taking it off!!! I had to take it off!! But they didn’t care and they have a collection agency hounding me.

I am not paying this and am currently working with the better business bureau to clear it up!! Don’t give them any…

I had my account cancelled today for no apparent reason. I tried meandering through the help section, but with no means of logging into my account, I was unable to get help other than through a BOT. No matter how much I tried, it would give me no mote information regarding the reason for cancelling.

It actually suggested I bring my year of e-commerce experience to another site. Ridiculous.

I'm a seller nee only 60 days but a buyer since 2016 . As a seller didn't know what I know now . 9 caret ring 14kt with 28 diamonds on it. 29 told her a wouldn't ship til it was of.

65 now eBay tells me to ship the ring cus they have the money. I was still nervous about shipping this ring but I did and the tracking # tells when it is delivered. and she proceeds to call me all kinds of names cus there is 3 missing diamonds and she proceeds to open a claim in the 3 missing diamonds.

So I asked her to send me a picture of the missing diamonds. but even tho she amitts in the platform that eBay can see that she open a claim falsely amitts her lies eBay still leaves the claim open.

Overall I am quite satisfied with eBay, and appreciate the ability to buy products from all over the world with some protection; however this is to make you aware of a vulnerability in your system, and this is the second time I have been a victim of this. I recently hit "buy it now," for 10 pounds of California prunes for $30 with free shipping.

The store, then sends the correct invoice, that in this case was for 5 pounds of California prints for $30 with free shipping. If I would have noticed this, I could cancel the order right away; although the first time this occurred the "shipped," was sent almost immediately, so that prevented that course of action.

I ordered a car door off of eBay tried to cancel it almost immediately after ordering it because I decided to sell the car as is they kept telling me it was shipped it never showed me and shipped on the status of my eBay account and then just showed up one day so I refused receipt of the door and had it returned the seller said that it's not his responsibility to refund my money that it's eBay's responsibility to refund my money I've been trying for 2 weeks to get my refund this is ridiculous

Account put on hold to sell, can not get a straight answer from anyone for the reasons. I have sent copies of ID, a bill with my address, invoices of my purchases for items being sold. I am a senior citizen trying to make ends meet.

Hello, I believe that Ebay does not comply with its return policy and money back guarantee. This article i bought is defective and the information is incomplete. The case opened by me was supposed to have a title but it has two issues. 1.

Defective item (specified and asked by the seller and he guaranteed that it has no defect, I reported where the defect is and continued to give me false information. That DEFECT exists. 2.

Second, the information is incomplete about the product. This size 42 is a 42 smaller than the real one. Other retailers have now seen that this measure specifies that it is a smaller one and if you want your number you have to buy at least half of the larger number.

eBay restricted my account because they say it is linked to another account. I have been a member of eBay for over 18 years I have 100% pos feedback of 1090. I call customer service and was treated very poorly.

I was told it was a business decision that they just no longer wanted to do business with me anymore. I could continue to buy off eBay but was restricted from selling forever. I did nothing wrong here I don’t deserve this.

Ebay is a flat form who assists scammers into scamming hardworking businesses like me. They repeatedly forced approved & forced refund a return requests without my approval or at least give me a chance prove that my product is exactly as described per ebay authenticator.

They repeatedly violated their own policy that when an item passed through inspection & authentication that my no return policy still applies but when a new ebay buyer (esteh96) with 3 feedback had a buyer remorse issue they automatically approved the return even through I’ve been with ebay since 2006 with six figures sales they still approved a lowlife buyer. They might as well put “RETURN ACCEPTED” on my listing because they will forced approved & forced refund if you decline.

I stop to a guy regarding the issue. He told me to login to my bank through Google because my account has been compromised. The username my bank assigned to me didn't work. He instructed me to go to the downloaded bank app and login which I did successfully.

Then he tells me to download Cash App which I did. I was instructed to provide my new debit card which is NOT connected to my Ebay account. I cancelled the card due to suspicious activity. I was speaking with a guy who identified himself using the last name Clark even though he had a very pronounced middle eastern accent. He wanted me to give him access to information I'm not comfortable disclosing.

I was on eBay the entire time and saw some of my items were canceled. How should I regain some of my canceled items back? I am literally sick of the annoying "The item cannot be purchased since you have received 2 Unpaid item strike(s) in the last 6 month(s)" garbage.

Some weeks ago, I made several attempts by email, chat, and phone to convey my unwillingness to switch to your new seller payment system. I will not provide ebay my bank account information. I asked to have my seller account closed and to please send me the money being held from a previous sale.

I was told there was no option to get my held funds from ebay without providing my bank account codes. Having no other options, I filed a complaint with the Oregon Attorney General as well as several consumer protection agencies.

The service ebay provided through this process has been horrible. All I get is automated emails threatening to close my account if I don’t provide bank information. So close it. Keep my money. I don’t care anymore. What a disgrace to use a customer’s money to hold them…

What has happened to EBay customer service?? WOW unbelievable. It's like they are trained to say the same 20 words that's it nothing more nothing less and NEVER get what you need resolved!? Going on 3 weeks now they locked my seller account up and my available funds I had not moved yet.

Had me jump through hoop after hoop over a week of proving all this non sense. I did it all then was like cool my funds should be available soon NOPE week later they ask for more documentation! At this point I'm pretty upset with this.

Keep in mind this was just a random thing they do? I wish so bad I could go in to eBay. Still currently funds locked 3-11-22 now I can't even get a response back and it's over $700 dollars by the way they are holding for no reason!!??

Ebay has the most pleasant customer service representatives. But when it comes to paying their sellers at least for myself who has been selling since 2017- there has been nothing but slow or no payment issues, with excuses. Some of the buyers are repeat buyers and i am assured very nice people. But getting paid is like pulling a tooth that does not want to come out. I have shipped at least 14 boxes of coffee @ $25.00 each 2 weeks ago this morning I checked I have a $7.09 payment. payments are on hold that they claimed could not be verified - I paid and brought the shipping labels from them. Only to have the post office tell me they cannot honor eBay's shipping labels. I have to pay out of my own pocket.

I sold 3 items with buyer purchase shipping label. Ebay kept both our shipping purchase and never refunded our shipping cost. After talking to supervisor they first said I was making out when I was losing money on the shipping.

After my last shipment comes I am deleting ebay and I am reporting to Better Business Bureau. They rip off both the seller and the buyer on shipping cost plus they charge monthly on top of that. They are not reimbursing any seller their shipping cost after the buyer paid for shipping.

After years of being a buyer and seller on ebay. This is the end for me. Seller and buyer both pay for shipping and the seller doesnt not get reimbursed.

I ran into some health issues last year which caused my sellers account to go under standard. This limited the # of listing I was allowed . 00 monthly thinking that might help. 00(w/no explanation)but didn't allow me to list one thing.

I've tried calling every # published for customer support only to find out they are all bogus. I've both emailed them as we as written and mailed them letters with no response at all. With my health issues online selling is the only income i currently have and I damn sure cannot afford being charged the amount of money they've taken from me for absolutely no reason.

I'm having to obtain a lawyer to resolve this issue because their customer service is so pathetic and their business practices are so criminal.. Any one have any advice.. Thanks

I tried to sell a 2014 Soft serve Ice cream machine. I listed the item and a few days later, my family and I were sick with Covid. I didn't open my computer for 3 weeks or more. Someone tried to buy the item, however they didn't see that it was LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.

They paid for the item and then requested refund because they didn't get their item shipped to them. Ebay still took out $681 in fees from my account. When I saw the withdraw, I contacted them. They said now problem, you'll have it back in 2 to 3 days. Well that didn't work.

I am a seller, lately I contacted the eBay customer service about an negative feedback. The buyer request a cancellation though eBay, and we accepted it. Later the buyer left a feedback said Refunded. No contact with buyer. And it is not our fault, we shouldn’t deserve this review.

However, one of the eBay customer service tell me it is a buyer experience? So the buyer are able to write anything on eBay, whatever it is true or not.

I bought and paid for an item from a scam seller. The item was returned to the seller without my receiving a notice from post office. I contacted seller offered to pay for postage the seller who did not respond for 3 weeks by the time I got eBay involved they said it was too late and it was my problem even tho they knew the seller had my money and the item.

The so called customer service is all foreigners who have no problem Lying to customers and telling different stories. eBay is a scam company I have a decades long account spent tens of thousands of dollars but they don’t help.

Ebay stole my money. I bought a product but later found it cheaper therefore wanted to return the item. When the post office contacted me I told them to return the item to the seller, therefore refused the item. Now both Ebay nor seller want to give me a refund.

This is illegal and I will get my money back somehow.
