Needed to cancel reservation- automated system did not recognize itinerary number OR last 4 digits of card. Couldn’t reach live person. Email with reservation info sent with no response. Hotel decided to cancel the reservation directly because of my issues contacting Expedia. 00! Terrible company!

I even bought protection plan on reservation. Will never book again. I want my money back.

I needed to use an airline credit and have to call in. I have been on hold waiting for an agent for over 90 minutes ... and have been listening to the horrible music!!

It told me that an agent would be with me in 5 minutes when I started the call!

I cannot do what I need to do online.

I understand that "people are travelling again" but business are also "hiring again!!!". Get some more agents to answer the phones and treat your customers with respect.

I was scheduled through Expedia to leave on July 7th with United airlines to Atlantis in the bahamas. After checking in at Newark airport in NJ and going through security we settled in to wait to board our flight. We found out through another passenger that our flight is cancelled.

We were directed to customer service or kiosks to reschedule our own flight. We were not aided by anyone in the airport. We got on standby for a flight at 10 (Our original flight was 7:30). We did not make it onto the standby flight.

While we waited for the stand by flight I had my son call expedia and I called United. We were put on hold for bothe calls. United answered first and I was told there were no other flights going to the Bahams that day.

You take reservation real easy but when it comes to changing or canceling reservations you give the customer a run around. You send them to Virtual Agent who does nothing at all. The virtual agent leaves the customer on hold without responding and the customer can't even ask what is going on as the text box is inoperable.

I am trying to cancel a reservation and once I do I will NEVER use Expedia. AGAIN.

My boyfriend and I planned trip together and we were both on the phone talking while at our own computers. We both saw the same things. We chose a trip that was all inclusive - got to the hotel and it wasn't.

I had to upgrade with American Airlines to get assigned seating (so we could sit together). We were supposed to get a checked bag free, but were charged 30 dollars

We stayed in room for 5 nights, we were supposed to get test for COVID for free because of 5 nights stay and instead we were charged 30.00 each.

My advise to anyone who uses this service is to SCREEN PRINT EVERYTHING!!!!!

I had booked a flight for my family via Expedia,ca to Peru on Aero Mexico last year. The flight was cancelled due to the pandemic and the airline issued a credit for around $2500. The date by which the credit was supposed to be booked was shown on the Expedia website as May 31. I called to use the credit in late May and was told first that Expedia had made a mistake and that the airline credit had expired. Expedia told me since it was their mistake that they would give me a refund, but that I had to buy another ticket on Aero Mexico first for the equivalent amount. I did this and was told I would get a credit in 72 hours. After repeated calls, I have received assurances from the call center about payment but every time there is no action.

I have a credit from a previous cancelled flight (during the pandemic) that I was trying to use for a future flight. I phoned the "theoretical" help line (877-227-7481). I was on the line for two hours with an agent (who asked me to hold), then I was told, his supervisor would have to call me back in 24-48 hours to help me. I never received a call back! I again called the number and got another agent (after a 1 hour call back of course). This agent just hung up on me after 30 minutes.

Expedia should be put out of business as they make your life miserable and they know it!

com it clearly states that we have 5 credits each with American airlines and United Airlines. I'd like to use my $2500 so my family can spend a vacation in Hawaii. I've spoken to 3 Expedia agents and 2 hung up on me and the 3 said to call the airlines to get the credits.

I called and the airlines said I booked with Expedia and I need to go back to speak to Expedia. You and the airlines are having me running around without any solutions. I did book through Expedia and I request and demand my credits be applied to my next trip.

I booked the flight through Expedia from Cincinnati to AMD through EWR and Mumbai. There is no updates or emails from Expedia for this flight. When I reached to EWR, I came to know there is no flight to India, when I called the agent, his reply was, I have emailed your airline, give it 24 hours and will let you know.

I was stuck at EWR and no help. Poor client management. I had to book a new flight with new payment and agent from Expedia failed to help me rather have blunt response to my situation.

Representative was hard to understand on the phone and I did not understand extra fees they charge to book a room. What a mess. They should tell you up front about all the extras they tack on. Ridiculous. Then-any email they sent(as confirmation) would disappear (while I was reading it)! Unprofessional

We are flying from Cambodia to London via Singapore. The airline change the flight from Cambodia to Singapore and now we miss the connecting flight to London via Dubai. I have called maybe eight times in total they keep telling me to contact emirates airlines emirates airlines keep telling me to contact you the travel agent as they cannot do anything else to come for you.

com for a hotel stay. By error I deleted a part of the wrong entry for trip protection on the stay. Expedia will not reinstate the accidental cancellation nor refund my money for a service that has yet to be rendered later in Oct of this year.

This is out-right theft as I am now paying for a service that provides absolutely no benefit to me. I have pulled my existing reservations from their web-site and I suggest other do the same. A company should be able to provide the services they offer and if not refund the payment.

An error made filling out their forms should not entitle them for payment - this is a straight forward legal theft. Maybe passable under the law but not morally correct. It's obvious Expedia feels money is more important then doing the right thing.

I am booking trips through Expedia and they are not crediting me the points I earned for my stays so I am unable to obtain perks and rewards on future stays. There is no customer support feature on the app and when I call for assistance they keep putting me on hold "to check" policy and are unable to credit me the points I earned for the stays..

Not sure why this is such a difficult request. Customer service reps ask for a good call back number if disconnected, then they hang up on you and dont call back... Still have not resolved my issue.

We were on the road for 12 hours, tired & weary, we decided against driving straight through, so using Google maps suggestions of hotels on our route, I found a decent hotel around 10 pm on 7/2/21 & booked it online through Expedia, which I've never used & will never again. I go to check in at the hotel in Georgia & there is a line at 10 pm, Management is on the phone with Expedia.

I have traveled for many years using online services including Orbitz and Expedia in the past and have always found the experience very effective and user friendly, but this latest fiasco in travel assistance with complete lack of customer service has left me entirely enraged.

To start with, I placed a reservation through Expedia with the hotel that I chose based on Expedia ratings -which I now wonder if they were fake ratings because the hotel was a profound disappointment. We got stuck on a train for over 32 hours and never made it to our destination due to a wildfire. I have been trying to call Expedia for days to try and cancel the hotel. We spoke to hotel directly, I even purchased the insurance for the trip.

They hotel is saying they will refund us the full amount, but Expedia is saying (on the automated customer service) that they will not refund us. I am just trying to get a hold of a human being to go over details and five the hotel manager info.

I've attempted over 50 times to call and have Expedia call back or wait on hold, etc. Each time, I get hung up on or no one calls back. I will NEVER use Expedia again or recommend it. They need to have someone actually talk to people.

I booked a resort at Nizuc in Cancun. My family at I went down to the property within half an hour of booking and decided to cancel. The resort was not all inclusive. So, after calling Expedia back while still in the resort they were agreeable to cancel.

Shortly after Expedia billed my credit card and refused to reverse the charges. I have called both the resort and Expedia everyday in attempt to get a refund and all I get is the run around from both Expedia and the resort.

Expedia claims they are working on the matter. Expedia also states they emailed the resort. In which Nizuc has not received per the staff. I am asking for a reversal of all charges for this resort that my family and I did not stay at.

Customer service is a joke, no call backs in a timely manner and when they do call back they are rude. Trying to change a booking and they act like they don't have a clue. The hotel itself has no problem with what we are trying to accomplish but Expedia is the hang-up.

We have done a LOT of business thru Expedia but next time I plan on booking a hotel stay directly to the hotel and leave the middle man (Expedia) out of it. If their customer service is this bad what does Expedia actually bring to the table?

I booked a room at Rainbow Point motel Taupo on 25 th May for 4th and 5 th June 2021 through Expedia. They took money out of my account and then the motel rang me to say the room was unavailable and I need to cancel it through Expedia myself.

I booked a trip in October of 2020 and then I had to cancel the trip due to COVID cases rising and Health Risk. I purchased the Policy Insurance which will allow me to get my money back or use the tickets at a later date.

I am having difficulty with the AARP Travel site through Expedia. I am trying to book flights using the remaining airline credits from a trip we had to cancel last year (2020) because of COVID. We booked flights in May & it was a very convoluted process.

Finding the information on how to book flights using credits was hard to locate, I spent at least 30 minutes on the website going from one page to another and back to the previous page, until I finally found a phone number. When I called the number, I spent at least 45 minutes on hold waiting for an agent.

I have a credit for flight in amount $1280 that I got as a result of canceling the trip because of COVID rules which were changed in January 2021. Hotel was free cancellation, flight tickets with United were given as a credit When I wanted to use the credit I found tickets for $1190 ($398 per person) for the same passengers and

tried to use the credit, I was told that I need to pay additional $420 per passenger because expedia can sell those tickets for selected price only for $800 per person and what I see on-line it is a price for new trip which means that it is cheaper for me buy new tickets than to use credit which does not make any sense.

I read all cancellation rules originally (I need to book the same airline, same passengers and etc) and there was no mention that expedia may use…

I have lots of credits because of Covid cancellations and for a year unable use, so many excuses or paying a large sum more when contacting Expedia. Not allowed to total even with same airline. Staff has many reason to not use or not together.

I can’t use airline sites ! Expedia no help. I’m done. I have more credits on Expedia with spirit again cant just call the airlines and Expedia employees if you can get one once a three hour wait, are no help.

Covid canceled these flights not me, so I deserve my refund especially where Expedia is taking advantage of customers and trying to get more money from us.

In my past dealing with Expedia over the past week or so I have nothing but terrible service. I need to cancel my trip and reschedule. According to Westjet through whom apparently my flight was book, cancellation during COVID is allowed and the cancellation fee is waived.

I spoke to the first agent who advised he would cancel my flight, and he advised me to rebook a new flight, which I did and paid for. The reason being that to reschedule a new flight would be $500,00 more than I have originally paid.

I booked a roundtrip flight from Tampa to Pensacola for 5 people thru Expedia. The flight left July 16 and returned July 18. My flight was changed by the airline (not by me) to July 19. Today I received a letter from the airline that my original flight was available and to call my travel agent to get on my original flight.

I called Expedia (assuming they are my travel agent at this point). After an inordinate wait (probably a total of 20 minutes, the agent came back on the line and stated it could be changed for $102 per ticket ($510). How can this be?

Good day . I am a customer in distress seeking help. support and a positive solution to my case. Pre -Covid times I purchased 4 tickets on Expedia totaling more than $1300. As you are well aware due to the pandemic all travel was cancelled and I wasnt able to go ahead and travel as planned.

They do not deserve a rating. I have a car rental with pick up time of 10:30 at Orlando Intl Airport. Our flight was delayed for 1 hour and 35 minutes. I have notified the company via text. When we landed and waiting for the shuttle, the driver said Advantage Rental car is already closed and they close at 11:00.

I called Expedia and their customer service is unable to help me at all! The only help she can give is give me another rental 7x more of my rate that I originally booked! Such a bad company. I will delete my app and never do business with this company ever again.

Customer service is horrendous. You can barely get a agent on the phone and when you do thier knowledge of services are very poor. They do not attempt to accommodate the consumer with the consumer concerns and needs. When you become frustrated with the situation and services and ask to speak to a manager or supervisor they agree to put a request to speak to a supervisor you never get a return call and

in fact when you call back then you can not get anybody on the phone even going through the automated system it will say it can not assist you!

We booked a vacation at Riu Palace Las Americas for 4/27/21-5/6/21 through Expedia. We received a confirmation email and our credit card was charged. We received an email from Las Americas welcoming us and inviting us to use their online check in.

We arrived at Las Americas at 17:30 on the 4/27/21. They did not have our reservation. Front desk also told us they sent the problem to their reservation dept and should hear back from them by 18:00 or 18:15. They also advised us to "do our part and call Expedia" to get it worked out on their end.

We immediately called and had to wait for a call back. There were numerous phone calls back and forth with Expedia. At about 21:00, Expedia informed us the resort reservation dept closed at 17:00 and we would have to wait until morning to resolve this…

This company should go out of business. I have spent between 12 and 15 hours on hold trying to get a refund for a flight that was canceled due to Covid. I called Air France and was told Expedia was told to refund my money.

I called Expedia back and was again on hold for many hours. I will never book with Expedia again. They hire cheap labor to answer their phones, people with few English skills who give you the run around. Do not book with them.

If something like Covid happens they will keep the money you paid for your flight and keep you on hold on the phone for hours if you try to get a refund.

00 using Expedia. 85 from Volaris. I called both Expedia and Volaris and they said they can do nothing. How can Expedia charge more than the agreed upon amount and not offer a refund. Expedia is opening themself for a class action lawsuit for deceptive practices at least.
