If I could rate this a zero, I would. I booked my international flight on Expedia and two weeks later, I was notified of a schedule change. I was a bit confused as to how it was explained on the email and if it was even a valid change or just junk mail, so I called Expedia customer service.

The person I spoke with said that I had to change my first flight to an earlier one, so I was fine with that. I had originally booked all of the flights on comfort plus Delta. When they rebooked me, somehow, the comfort plus for the first flight "never existed" although I had paid for it!!!

I am not sure how to get this refunded or to be placed in the correct seat.

I cancelled my insurance coverage but there was no refund. I bought an insurance coverage together with my flight and hotel booking but later found out the premium I paid was way higher than the market so I canceled it and the system accepted my request with a confirmation email.

I expected I will get a refund of what I paid but there was none. I called customer service and first they needed me to provide my credit card statement to prove there was no credit back to my credit card account so that they could arrange the refund.

I booked a hotel reservation through Expedia to stay at Pelicanstay in Pioneer Square, Seattle WA from Sept. 14-18. I was charged a $250 dollar security deposit by the hotel, that was supposed to be refunded, however is never was.

I contacted Pelicanstay three different times about this and each time they assured it would be immediately refunded. This constitutes fraud, and Expedia is partly to blame for endorsing this establishment. I will never stay at this hotel, or use Expedia again.

First, if the system allows, my rating is not even a single star. Worst ever customer service. Worst,worst,worst.... I booked a flight last night and wanted to change the dates. I booked my flight last night Wednesday 4th,Manitoba time around 9.00pm. Now it is 9.00am Thursday,5th.

I was on hold for about 10 minutes before the first response.

Then a girl answered, she put me on hold for 47 minutes and the line disconnected.I dont know she hung up or not. By the time someone call me again or I call again, it can be more than 24 hours.Then I have to pay a fee for the cancellation.I think this is what your team is doing. I booked the hotel with breakfast included. It says buffet breakfast which typically means with warm dishes such as scrambled eggs, ham etc. But the breakfast provided in this hotel is partial continental breakfast (no egg dishes and not even cold salads or hams), and not the typical buffet breakfast. And they charge for egg orders which i find quite unacceptable.

If what they offer is continental breakfast, then the description in expedia should be changed to reflect continental breakfast in order not to mislead guests such as myself. I would have booked another hotel if i knew if was serving only continental breakfast.

I booked a round trip home for xmas. Worried that I had not seen my flight info I called the actual service provider Caribbean Airlines, who sent me my ticket to Toronto. When I asked where the return ticket was they said they had no record and I should contact expedia.

Expedia customer service rep was cloying and RUDe at the same time. She did a prompt investigation and advised me that her records showed that I HAD CANCELLED MY TRIP. Really? " REALLY? Honestly, such poor customer serivice. ) got me theflight I had originally booked but Expedia had managed to screw up. NO ACTION SOUGHT.

Horrible experience trying to get expedia Gold customer support to rebook a cancelled flight.

First agent took the info and said he would call me back and never did. After 2 hours waiting on call, I called again and the second agent and his supervisor (Samuel) refused to believe that my flight was cancelled and did nothing to help get me on a different flight.

I eventually had to call the airline directly in order to get help.

I called expedia for a name correction for an airline. They put me on hold for 2 hours and refuse to call me back. The next day, i find out they cancel my ticket without telling me and repurchase the ticket.

However i lost all my seat selection which i paid 350 dollars for. I called them back and they refuse to acknowledge their mistake and force me to directly call the airline whom state its on expedia end. Worst customer service ever.

We found a homeless family that was staying in their car on a cold night in NJ and I went on expedia and booked a hotel for them. When they got there they were not allow to stay there because they had a dog.

Therefore the money should be refunded so they could stay somewhere else. When you book the hotel on line, not on any page did it ask or give you the option to add the dog on. it states they are pet friendly.

The hotel was not used, and hotel said the monies would be returned. Therefore, please refund the monies, I tried to do this on the phone and the guy I spoke with said they couldn't do this. I am an Expedia Elite member, and I booked 3 nights at Dutch Manor Antique Hotel in Capetown (Nov 12-15) under the assumption that there is a working Wifi in my room as was stated in their Expedia page. Unfortunately, upon arrival today they said that WiFi is on and off because of some city issues, but I found out that they just don’t have a working WiFi in their rooms, which is very disappointing.

My husband and I booked 6 flights through Expedia 10 months in advance of our trip. Our flights from LA to Rarotonga are 10 hours. NOT one flight are we sitting next to each other! This is horrible customer service.

I was forced to change my flight to Chicago Midway and my rent a car res for 10/28-10/31 booked through Hotwire. I cancelled the earlier reservation on line when I booked my later flight. While reviewing my credit card account today I saw that I was billed for both bookings.

I called Hotwire and spoke with a customer service rep and Doreen who said she was the escalations supervisor (Badge #773) and also stated that she was the final authority in such matters. She gave me a case number(30002206768) and was sorry that I could not be helped.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! They changed my stepmom's flight twice and we were never notified! When she got to the airport, she was told that her flight had been changed, meaning that she would miss her connecting flight back home.

I immediately called Expedia and they advised me that I would have to call the airline and deal with them. I told them that I had made the reservation through Expedia and not the airline so they would need to fix this.

I was transferred to the manager of customer service and I was telling him everything that was wrong and he said excuse me, I wasn't done talking". SERIOUSLY??? You have an elderly women going to be stranded in a foreign country and you cant even listen to your customers worries....

i did not pay in advance as the website indicated but they had my card on file. the hotel reviews and pics were good so i reserved ta room for october 8th 2019. upon arrival from the airport i was shocked to see the condition of the hotel and the room assigned to me.

the smell was over powering and there was urine stains and smell in the courtyard of the hotel. spoke to the manager on duty about the filthy conditions and also about the room where i felt very unsafe I told him i can not stay here and would like to cancel my booking.

We booked the glen stone lodge in Gatlinburg for 2 nights from 10/24 to 10/26 ! We arrived there they gave us a room over the swimming pool with a cascade & slides ! It was very NOISY & SMELLED CLORINE !

When I complaint they change it to one in a corridor that was extremely dark with windows overlooking that passage ! A horrible experience ! That room should have been half the price for what we paid! This is just UNACCEPTABLE from you or from them !

Booked tour with Supplier Reference #7473937482149 and Expedia Itinerary #7473937482149. I missed the AM tour, but called the supplier regarding the PM tour and was told to meet the group at 2:15pm near the Arch (construction area) of the Colosseum and to look for a pink color Range Rover.

We arrived at the meeting point at 1pm and waited. No pink color Range Rover. In which I had to book the Colosseum tour with Greyline tour. I feel since I called Carrani Tours and spoke with them and was given directions to meet them I should be refunded for half of my tour.

This was my birthday trip to Rome and I planned everything ahead of schedule.

I have been trying for almost two weeks to correct an error in my name on my reservation. Itinerary #7475367780151. I have got to the point where I have a case #E-24943879, but still nothing has been done. I booked a car rental and paid online and when I got the car rental place I was forced to pay an additional $110.00. the customer before me had the same problem and called expedia. After leaving I read the reviews and realized that this has been happening for years and Expedia is aware of this.I trusted Expedia but clearly they do not care about their customers complaints. On July 2, 2019 I used Expedia online to book a reservation for November 20, 2019 for Comfort Inn downtown Nashville-Vanderbilt. When I printed the reservation sheet the date I entered (November 20, 2019) came back as July 3, 2019.

I immediately called Expedia and asked them to change the date to November 20, 2019. They referred me to Comfort Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt. I called Comfort Inn and they referred me back to Expedia. What I wanted was to make sure the date was changed to the correct date of November 20, 2019.

Expedia told me they could not do that and had to talk with Comfort Inn. My husband called Comfort Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt and the man that answered the phone told him "we will get our money". I did not ask for a refund, I asked for the date to be changed.

My family and I had made a reservation for Sep15/19 arriving in Conrad hotel in Istanbul on Sep16 . A week prior to our arrival through yearly physical check up I was told by my doctor that I have internal bleeding and tumors on my kidney surface. I was so disappointed, i book s hotel a Coast west edmonton hotel for 2 rooms for my family. The price shows online was $88 and if it is refundable it says $97 per room with breakfast. So i booked the 2 rooms with breakfast and i click refundable.

I ran into a problem with a reservation and felt it would help to speak with a fellow American who was culturally and linguistically the same as me to communicate and resolve the issue quickly. Instead I received all sorts of denials of it being possible from no less than 4 reps.

One supervisor did manage to connect me with Expedia’s corporate office where in a manager did her level best to tell me you can’t directly ask for a US based customer service rep then most of her end of the conversation was focused on telling me there is no reason to speak with someone in the US because the overseas reps are all skilled in handling any and all problems.

She did eventually relent that you can ask and the overseas reps should forward you through but still strongly tried to dissuade that option.…

I recently accepted a Vrbo booking per my usual manner and went to see if the funds had been deposited into my acct but they are not there. I go into the site to see if anything wrong.

I see a blurb about yapstone is changing processing fees. So I accept and hit migrate.

I guess I made the wrong decision or did not clearly understand. So now I’m stuck. I can’t get paid per usual. I Understand the advance Pay option is going to cost another 3% (6%) for this option. I don’t like it but I can live with it.

My bottom line complaint is that I could not make an advance payment booking immediately. I have to wait for 90 days for this booking option. Or so I’m told. If your going to change policy you have to make it operational at that time!

I booked the hotel around 2 months in advance and paid in full.

The day of the booking (New Years Eve no less) the man at reception tells us that the hotel cancelled the booking with Expedia weeks before. We were not notified by either the hotel or Expedia.

The hotel turned us away and Expedia simply says they are trying to contact the hotel to resolve the issue. This has been going on for 8 months. If you can't get through to them after 8 months you never will. That said I don't believe that's the problem as Expedia still allows this hotel to advertise on their booking site. As the booking agent Expedia should provide the refund and cut all ties with this hotel.

When I did check-in I submit the receptionist my Master card number he scanned it and charged me! Then he mentioned that my friends' payment will be released to his Visa card upon check-out. Now it is August 5th and my friend payment was not released.
