I made reservations through Expedia, I received a 2 receipts 1 from The Hotel(Best Western Plus) and 1 from Expedia. They were different and the the from Expedia was more than the Best Western. I asked why and she said when I booked made a difference.

That doe NOT make sense what so ever! She Also said I could not get the price difference credited back or could I cancel My booking through Expedia! can you imagine how much money they are ripping people off when it gets into the thousands of bookings.

I am VERY upset and will report to the BBB if I dont get a full apology and the credit for the difference. It wasn't a whole lot but it's the principle of this and false advertising sine I looked at other booking sites and the rooms are even cheaper!

We reserved 3 nights stay at Best Western McCarran Inn, Las Vegas through Expedia.com on Dec 23, 2022. The check in date was Dec 27, 2022 and check out date Dec 30, 2022

The description of "Best Western McCarran Inn" shows "free breakfast buffet", which led us to make reservation there.

On the morning of first night stay (i.e. Dec 28, 2022), we found that the breakfast offered there was NOT really "buffet". It was much like "continental" breakfast as there were limited food types and limited food quantities offered in a small room. There were also empty baskets there. We felt that we were misled by Expedia.com property description and very unhappy.

Subsequently, we chatted with Expedia online support to cancel / refund at least our 3rd night stay. They agreed that we checked out…

We booked our honeymoon online via Expedia in December 2021. In July 2022, we received notification of flight change which added 4 hours onto our trip. We were given the option to cancel flights and receive a full refund. In September 2022 - the airline advised tgat they had issued refund to Expedia.

We have not received the refund from Expedia. When we contacted Expedia, we were told that the airline would refund direct to us and that we need to contact them. I have contacted airline several times and told to contact the booking agent - Expedia.

I have made several attempts ti resolve this. I have tried ti email Expedia but email to Customer Service keeps bouncing back - meanwhile I am over $1000 out of pocket with no resolution in sight. DO NOT BOOK THRU EXPEDIA is my strongest advice.

There was a spelling mistake on my name, expedia tried to correct this with emirates. It has been going on since 01/01/2023 (yes over a month for a spelling mistake). I paid £30 to get the change done but somebody cancelled the flight. When I contacted expedia complaints they put the issue over to their flight team who never got back to me. I am now being told I have a £200 charge for the cancellation, which I didnt do but somehow expedia insist I pay. I tried to book a flight on line. i was charged over 20 times -- over $12780 on 2 credit cards -- but the reservation didn't go through. after waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, customer service offered to give me a credit for a hotel for the difference of the new flight reservation. that is unacceptable.

as a VP in the entertainment industry, i cannot believe that is your solution. if i could rate Expedia negative stars, i would. unbelievable.

I made a reservation then when I went to pick up my rental car, there was no rental cars. I called agent and she said that she’ll send me to a different spot after being on the phone with her for over an hour and a half giving me the runaround then she sends me to Islip airport.

I get there and they have no cars after being on hold for another half an hour trying to get a car. I ended up not renting a car. This is bad customer service and is unacceptable.

I tried to reserve a hotel, the site answer that the payment could not be processed and the reservation did not work nevertheless my bank account was debited because I paid with my Debit Card. I contacted Expedia, at the beginning they said to wait 2 or 3 days now there are 30.

They checked and validated that there is no reservation made by myself nevertheless they refuse to check the transaction to inform the bank that I did no buy any service. I consider that they steel me

I needed a simple des change for my reservation. I called the hotel first to make sure there was availability and what their policy was. I let them know what I needed and if it be possible. They said yes.

Since I booked through Expedia. Expedia has to be the one that makes the changes, third party is always responsible for that. When I called Expedia. The agent told me the hotel was denying the change and there was nothing they could do.

I called the hotel and merged the call. The hotel agent told her the hotel was NOT denying changes, Expedia had to make them since they took the reservation. The Expedia agent continued to say she wouldn’t make the change so I asked for her manager.

I had to repeat those steps with her as well. The Expedia manager was told the same, third party…

Booked stay in london with Expedia on free cancellation policy, was within policy and cancelled just last night of my stay WITHIN POLICY TIME due to london strikes and not being able to book train back to london for that night, I knew in advance i would need to cancel & stay in a different location in South England that night. I notified and received approval from Expedia and the hotel in good time. Hotel has been consistent in approving and providing refund immediately, but Expedia have been totally uncooperative and robotic about process, not listening to the issue, and saying request denied by the hotel which is an untruth as I have undeniable evidence of the opposite. Expedia is holding my money, that the hotel has given back and most likely Hotelbeds too.

Booked and paid for the highest category Sian Kaan Junior suite at the Pyramid Cancun with Expedia. This category has many more amenities at the resort and a superior room. The resort had me reserved as a regular Junior suite and that’s what I got even after showing them my reservation from Expedia.

I have contacted Expedia many times about this. I was supposed to get an email from a special team looking into this by 1/3/23. I have heard absolutely nothing. I paid extra for the Sian Kaan category which I did not receive.

IT# 72482815800613 Norma Sierra I booked a hotel for 2/3/2023. 77 and will be credited back 275 and some cents. When I called to complain about the charge, I sent a screen shot of the false advertisement of $141. " Not returning all the charge is a penalty in itself.

Through no fault of the phone assistant she attempted to assist me. Expedia has put me in a financial bind for overcharging and for having to wait from 7-10 days to receive a refund. My experience with Expedia had always been satisfactory until today.

I recently booked a flight from LaGuardia NYC to RSW Fort Myers, leaving feb. 6th at 7:59 and coming home feb. 14 3:10 I believe. My mom decided she wanted to come to Florida with me so I called Expedia to change my flight.

I was welcomed by a woman, I don’t know her name, but I’m sure you can look up records to see who it is, who seemed helpful at first. She said she would change it, long story short, and left me on hold for approx. an hour.

The total time we were on the phone had to be almost 2 hours to simply change a flight, but in the end she said it was completed I gave her my credit info and paid the difference of 200 something or whatever it was. Do NOT rent a car using Expedia or SIXT! DFW is shut down today due to a winter storm. Flights are cancelled and people are being told not to drive in Dallas due to the dangerous conditions resulting from an unexpected winter storm.

American Airlines was great in offering a change of flight waving all fees and charges. ALL worked with mother nature except EXPEDIA AND SIXT RENTAL CAR which both decided that they would charge me a $100 cancellation fee regardless of the reason. TRULY DISAPPOINTED.

I rented a car online, provided my bank care it was accepted and I was charged. I go to pickup the care and they wanted a credit care which I did not have. I was charged and was told that I would have to wait to get my money back.

This is theft and no other way around it. I am still waiting on my money and if you do not accept debit cards their should be a HARD STop so it will not go through this is a way to upset the consumers.

RecentlyI rented a car from a company known as Sixt through Expedia. After I paid the amount quoted by Expedia I took delivery at the Orlando airport and returned it. A few days later I got a demand for $1600 from Sixt for the repair of alleged damages to the car.

The car showed no damages when I returned as it was inspected by their employee. , As I understand it this is a fraudulent claim. I am providing you with this feedback so that you can advise other customers of this practice.

I booked 3 flights on different dates, which, for covid reasons, had to be converted to coupons. I will not focus this complaint on the difficulty of using these coupons, since I’m sure there are 100s which make this point.

My complaint is the expiry date has been brought forward without any notification. When I tried to explain this on the phone to the call centre (routed to the Philippines) they said expiry is 1 year after booking. This makes no sense as I booked each flight on a different date.

I have lost £400 to this exploitative company. I’m sure others have lost much more.

I am trying to access my booking. I have not received a confirmation email, therefore I do not know my itinerary number. this makes it impossible to access my booking. I have tried to call an agent, unsuccessfully. whenever I am finally it the point in the automated phoneline that I can access an agent , I get disconnected with the message that there are technical problems.

How can I find out my itinerary number? This is horrendous service.

I booked a room for the 27th to the 28th. When the booking was complete I received my itinerary and it had dates of the 26th to 27th. I tried to just change the dates and they said I could do it but instead of the 97 dollar charge it would cost me almost 180!!

Their website says they don't charge change or cancel fees but oh yes they do! I called the hotel and those fees weren't coming from them! I'll never use them again!

I sent the letter below a few days ago. I have already received answers from AIG and Avis Budget but Expedia just ignore!! and I sent it a several times already!

Hello. On October 6th, 2022, we rented a car from Budget Malpenas Apt - Terminal 1, Ferno Milan through Expedia with the confirmation number 72404899705057 and the policy number 1252688876.

On November 10th, 2022, We noticed that we were charged 3,495.67 Euros by "Avis Budget MALPENSA FERN" without any prior notice or explanation. This charge is in addition to the cost of the car rental, which was 1,383.15$.

Contacted expedia on Line to book return flights to Brisbane from London. Expedia provided options and option selected. Initially informed provider was American Airlines. Received itenary from them showing flights are with their approved partner BA from London to Los Angeles and allowing us to book seats and Quantas airways LA to Brisbane and although several attempts made their system failed to save choice.

Contacted EXpedia who advise they are not responsible it's American airlines. American airlines state they are only a 3rd party and referred me to Expedia. Contacted expedia we ho insisted an American airlines problem. My issue is EXpedia are happy to take your money but NOT willing to get in contact with either American Airway or Quantas to resolve the issue.

In April 2022, I booked Rui Palaca Riviera Maya January 31, 2023 - February 7, 2023. Two weeks ago I noticed it was for one and not 2. Your staff and I have tried to amend it without success. Expedia said the hotel declined, the hotel said it is up to Expedia to amend it. Help.

The hotel has a few openings if booked directly with them, but the price went up by 43, 826 pesos for a total of $4,329, just for an additional person in my room. My partner has mild to moderate dementia and he is attending because his granddaughter is getting married there.

I bought a ticket through Orbitz (Expedia is parent company) for travel to Morocco around April/ May 2020 on Royal Air Maroc. Because of Covid, flights were canceled and Expedia gave me a credit voucher that expired in Feb 2021.

Royal Air Maroc completely stopped operations and did not resume flying till late 2021, so there was no way of my using the credit.

First of all, I should have got a refund as the airline canceled the flight and during Covid, all airlines issued refunds.

Secondly, Expedia has not helped me in getting the airline to extend the credit. I will never ever buy a ticket through Expedia or Orbitz again!

, to Puerto Vallarta on January 4. When I tried to check in for the flight on January 3 I was advised that due to a mistake made by Expedia, my seat had been given away and there were no other available seats on the flight.

I contacted Expedia and a representative did eventually find me an alternative flight on Air Canada on the same day.

However, the Air Canada seat was in the Economy cabin and, as a result, I travelled in considerably less comfort (this is a problem because I have recently recovered from a deep vein thrombosis). The Expedia representative advised me that the one way Air Canada ticket cost a total of $1000 dollars (not surprising seeing as it was booked the day before).

I purchased $400 for River Bend Hotel in Pidgeon Forge, TN hotel for Christmas and had to cancel due to weather. Just in case, I purchased $15 for trip insurance, fully trusting Expedia to do what they said - Protect my trip.

The hotel refused to refund or credit, and Expedia refused to refund or credit. Not a wisp of help. Not only is this bad, it's idiotic and bad business - I would have continued to use Expedia AND the River Bend Hotel.

But, since I cannot trust either one, I will take all future business elsewhere. There's a lot to be said for standing by your loyal customers.

I have been calling Expedia from 19th Sept. regarding refunding the bookings of flights booked by me to Mumbai. It is now 4 months and every time I phone they tell me that they will submit the necessary form to British Airways for a refund and I have to wait six weeks for a response.

The first form was submitted on 1st December. Since there was no response from British Airways another form was submitted on 11th Jan. I am wondering whether the Customer Services Reps. know what they are doing !!!!!!!

Dear sir About 5 years ago my wife and I booked an all-inclusive vacation to GR Solaris Cancun through Expedia TD for 2 weeks and all went perfectly at that time. This year we decided to do the same so we booked the 2 weeks at the GR Solaris all inclusive, hoping to have the same experience.

After we arrived at Cancun airport and tried to exit our nightmare began. The system requires that you walk into a sea of people outside the airport, travellers, agents and taxi drivers, and people trying to locate their contact agents.

I am literally at my wits end. Our New York trip was cancelled due to Covid. We have been informed by Virgin that our flight credits have been extended to December 2023. We have called Expedia multiple times to arrange a new trip in October.

Every time we speak to someone we have to go through the whole rigmarole of them checking policies, we are then cut off and nobody calls back. The last call on Sunday 15/01/23 after an epic 1hr 35 minute phone call where i was placed on hold for about 1hr 20 mins of it we thought that we had a break through.

We just returned from my Dad's funeral, when I made air reservations I asked 'chat' about bereavement fares they said submit a copy of the death certificate (DC) for a partial refund or credit. Now I keep trying to contact someone & cant do anything for me because travel has already happened.

Well DC wasnt issued when I booked, I just got home with it. Delta says No have to contact Expedia. Expedia wont help because Not an upcoming trip & would have needed prior to booking, which DC hadnt been issued at time of booking. Please help!

Ridiculous how the price when you book says one amount then when you get reciept its a different amount. More money. You get to motel to pay and then expedia says you paid motel says you didnt. So card doesnt work then call expedia they say i paid motel said i didnt.

It took over 45mins to check in and then had to pay extra money because expedia took money off a credit card for insurance even though said didnt charge the card. Sad that no credits or anything for all the nonesense.

Was probaly cheaper to book though motel after all the fees and extra money we paid. So you think you are getting a deal when really when you change the price your aren't saving money and yet still get away with the upcharge.

Upon arriving at Apartamentos Dunas Club from Canada we were shocked by the condition of our room. I chose this hotel based on the pictures and reviews on Expedia. Among several minor issues, we found in the room the main issues were: we couldn't get into the room because the lock didn't work, the room interiors were damaged to the degree that can cause harm, the bathtub was disgustingly dirty, the beds were torn and

Turkish airlines isn't Expedia so I don't think 2 stars is for Expedia.

Turkish airlines TK4 flight was delayed and landed at 7:42am and our connecting flight in instanbul started boarding at 7:50am plane leaves at 8:50am we walked from our "A" gate to our "F" gate after waiting to get off plane and arrived at 8:40 to be turned away.

We're supposed to have a two hour window. We were told by T.A. that we can not just purchase one way flights and the use what we originally paid Expedia for as a return flight. New tickets for our entire trip cost us $2700+

Our original plane tickets for our entire trip $1600+

We've never heard of this kind of scam and to say outraged isn't enough to why we couldn't just have had new transfer tickets to another flight.

Approx 2 weeks after that I send in this complaint form with my original letter attached. We booked a package with Expedia for a family vacation. We chose the option Expedia presented to us. Unfortunately, the outbound flight got cancelled because of bad weather. I booked a flight, accommodation and transfer package for 4 nights, 5 days to Vanuatu through Expedia in September 2022. Hi, I booked a package through Expedia, the package included, flight, accommodation and car service to pick us from Sydney airport to the hotel and return on the last day, my booking reference number with Expedia was 72457671495644 The car service through Elife Limo cancelled the job as per attached screenshot, when I saw the cancellation on arrival at the airport, I tried to call them but could not get through, I waited and wasted a lot of time trying to contact the company without any luck.

I got a taxi instead. On return from the hotel to the airport Elife Limo didn’t even contacted me as they cancelled the job completely. I got a taxi to the airport. I contacted their support afterward and they advised me to get my refund from Expedia.

99 that I paid for a service that was cancelled…

I booked a package through Expedia to Sydney including flight, accommodation and car service to pick me up from Sydney airport to the hotel and back. Booking reference number is 72457671495644. Flight and accommodations were very good, but the car service company Elife Limo ride ID 2427717 was cancelled by them due to insufficient time for them to allocate a driver. I had to take a taxi instead which causes delay on my appointment in Sydney. The same thing on my return from the accommodation to the airport I took a taxi. I am requesting a refund for the amount of $137.99 that I paid for the car service in my booking package that I never used.

I contacted the car company Elife Limo and hey advised me to contact you for a refund. I have evidence email communication regarding this

My wife booked at tour via Expedia with this Brandon Bruce Fish Tobago Tours . Our tour pick up appointment was set for 7:45 am. The morning of the tour it was pouring rain. We tried calling Brandon Multiple times before the tour but He never answered the phone number we were initially given. Come to find out, When he showed up at our hotel Brandon Bruce told the receptionist at the Le Grand " I came to pick up 2 ladies."

He did not ask for us by our names to the hotel receptionist. Brandon eventually called back from a different phone number disguising his voice stating that the weather was "Sunny" and he is out on a boat...lying. Brandon was very rude to my wife on the phone. He kept talking over us so we finally asked him to just refund because absolutely no services were rendered.…

I'm not sure where to begin. I booked a BUNDLE DEAL. com. I contacted customer support for help. They said it was nonrefundable. I would lose the money from hotel. How is this possible? I literally JUST BOOKED IT! In addition, I booked this as a BUNDLE! Not separately.

It also says best price GUARANTEE! It also said 24 hours to cancel. It did NOT SAY JUST THE FLIGHT, and again, I booked a BUNDLE! Now the customer support person said they will ask the hotel to cancel, but this will take 72 hours, which then I will not be able to cancel flight.

Again, BOOKED AS A BUNDLE! This is 100%misleading, false advertising, etc. All I asked for was a credit. I was even fine with a coupon on Expedia account for the difference. I was offered $25. This is not acceptable. I began with a chat.
