I spent thousands of dollars booking on expedia over the years and customer service went to below 1 star over the last 2 years. I am trying to use my airline credits before they expire, only to see the "please call to make this booking" or "sorry there is a problem on our end, please try later" indefinitely, no matter how many times I try.
The problem is, when I call, it's near impossible to get in touch with a live person trying to get help, it's an endless loop of entering itinerary numbers and phone numbers. Same on the live chat option on their website, enter login information, that leads me nowhere.
One time I did get a hold of a person, they said their system is down and call back after an hour. That was after being on hold for 45 min and requesting a call back that came 2 hrs…
