Complaint at store #12562 on 4/24/23 t 3:30 or 4pm. My 17 and 12 year children were in the store and a sales clerk asked if their parents were with them. My children said no and were told it's company policy and they couldn't shop without a parent present.

I later asked to see that policy and it could not be found. As I was leaving the store I observed an African American male child that appeared to between 12 and 15 years of age enter the store and the clerk that told my white kids they couldn't shop there held the door and allowed the child to enter.

So is there a policy or does it only apply to white children?

I went into family dollar store #06258 I purchased 2 twelve packs of Sunkist sodas the price showed 4.35 but intact it incorrect the cashier told me it was Shasta and theere was no Shasta on the shelf it was all 7up products please ask them to either correctly stock shelves or honor the price it says please and thank you

I recently bought a gallon of family farms whole milk at the family dollar Hudson store in Florida. I took it home went to make my child a cup of milk and cook dinner and the milk was awful bad yellow and smelled sour. 2023.

The expiration date is may 2,2023 so it shouldn’t be sour. I thought ok well I will exchange it. Apparently because of Covid-19 the store doesn’t do any good returns which I understand. 2023. And it wasn’t as bad but still smelled sour.

After Easter I visited your store in East Point Georgia on Headland and Delowe. I bought some Easter candy that was on sale. Tha candy was in a plastic container sitting on the floor. I returned to the store the next week and bought more of the Easter candy because it was on sale.

So two or three days later (04-25-2023) I returned to the store to buy more of the Easter candy only to be told that this old Easter candy was ringing up as the original price. Even more demeaning than that was the attitude of the two workers in the store who were short, matter of fact, and did not try to assist me with the price hike for the old Easter candy.

The management at this store is deplorable. They redesigned this store and it’s worse. You have to zig zag through the isles. They never have enough employees and the ones they do have are lazy or have so much to do it’s overwhelming.

The manger they have now can’t speak English and does not know how to work the register or thinks it’s beneath him as there was 20 people in line with one cashier. At one time they had a decent manger but she now works at Randall’s.

Another irritating issue they have is cashiers cussing and blast music at the register. Come on now … I’ve had enough.

I always thought dollar general was a neighborhood community dollar store. The assistant manager at the Fremont, Michigan store should be removed and replaced. She is constantly on her personal phone out on the store floor. She talks loud enough for everyone to hear. She's either is talking to her husband, her kids school, or the doctor's office.

I asked to use the rest from in the Passaic Avenue store in Maywood NJ and was denied. Apparently the store policy does not permit customers to use the facilities.

Went to the store in Phoenix on Indian school. I had my backpack on since I had just gotten off the bus and stopped to get supplies. Someone says “you need to leave your backpack up front” it was a female voice so when I looked up to see who it was all I saw were 2 males.

Went to FD today on Kathleen Rd in Lakeland, FL at 11:30 am only to find it closed. Not a car in the parking lot, not even an employee car. No sign on the door. While I've been a customer for 15 yrs I have decided I might be shopping elsewhere from now on. The treatment of the employees for a remodel currently being done was atrocious. A supervisor named Daryl was screaming and belittling employees.

If this is the way employees are treated then I will pull my support for the store and spread the news to others. When people are clearly doing their best they should be treated with respect, I am saddened that the wonderful staff who always greet me with a smile and who are extremely helpful are treated so poorly, also applied to the temporary employees who are working hard.

While shopping at store number 07011 female manager cursed another employee a young man in front of all the customers she threatened to hit him several times she told him to punch out because he was going to be fired it was unacceptable it was embarrassing and she should have never talked to him like she did or treated him the way she did in front of all those customers.

My wife and I were glad to see Family Dollar come to Freeport. Today we made a visit and picked up enough items to need 2 carts. As we were finishing checking out $130.00 of merchandise we were informed we were not allowed to take shopping cart out of store. Our 1 st thought was leave merchandise and walk out but we just informed clerk we thought it ridiculous and we would not be coming back to shop. We shop at the Port St Joe store and take buggy out so why not In Freeport?
