I was told I needed a new battery, my receipt shows I declined. I went to another dealer and the battery tested fine. Five months later it is still going strong. You are either guilty of incompetent battery testing or upselling, two reasons why I will not return to Firestone again.

I scheduled an appointment for 5/14/2020 at 8:00am for an oil change. When I arrived, I was the first customer there. The store opened at 8:00am. I checked in and waited for my car to be taken in for service.

More cars had arrived and were taken in. 7 cars to be exact were taken in before me and I had an 8:00am appointment. My car was not taken in until at least 9:10am. What is the point of making an appointment then?

Why was I last at getting serviced? If the store opens at 8:00am, how many appointments are they making? I was there for 2 1/2 hours. Very unacceptable and disappointing. Everywhere else is no longer than 1 hour if not sooner.

I get our family car services at Firestone at the Oviedo location on Red bug lake road in Florida. We had our radiator changed which was in good condition but they said it needed changing so it was done. For weeks and even months we have noticed that the smell of antifreeze was always present still.

But never really took action because we knew the radiator was just changed and should be good. After a while We noticed antifreeze resovoir was always at a low level after. We fill it up every week. So I looked under the hood and inspected the hoses and saw that a clamp to one if the hoses was never position properly and the the antifreeze was slightly oozing out.

It was an easy fix but Firestone was the only one who changed the radiator and did not complete the connection properly. I took it…

I brought my 2003 Toyota Camry to Firestone with hopes of getting a new starter installed. A new starter was put in but when I was trying to start my car it took 10x to get my cars started, and then when it finally did start my car was shaking and

I told Andrew who was the advisor that my car was not doing this before I brought it in. And that now my check engine light was on which wasn’t on to begin with either. He told me leave the car to be checked out again by the mechanic, which I couldn’t do because ima a nurse and I had to go to work and had no other way of transportation. 60. 59 for labor?

Isn’t taking this piece out and putting new one in considered labor? So why charge me over 200$ in labor altogether this does not make sense. And I’m need of clarity

At your Gardena Store in California the company gives free inspections of air pressure etc. I went to that particular store around 11:00 and asked if I may get free air. I understand the people in the store are working grant it however, I was just waiting and waiting and no one came out as a courtesy and said anything to me after about 20 minutes I went back into the store the manager was rude and

said my guys I working and we will get to you when we can. Mind you there is not an argument here but to be rude after I waited some time and you don't have the courtesy to tell me it will be more than 30 minutes before the store can attend to a simple tire pressure check than why would you tell someone to pull up and

I purchased a set of 70k mile tires in 2014 that have 16k on them now .i purcased the free rotation pkg and now they refuse to do it sating they are weather checked.they want to pro rate them and still charge me more than i paid in 2014... and i have along history with firestone

I have been going to this firestone for years. Last time I went, I needed some work done to my car. Shortly after the work, my car broke down and I had a specialist work on my car. He asked me where I had been getting work done besides him, and I told him Firestone.

He let me know that Firestone broke off parts to my car, and held them together with zip ties. I could not believe him, so I went to the shop to see with my own eyes. I took pictures... he was right!

He let me know that by looking at this- they ruined my car. When I went back to tell Firestone manager, he said, well... that didn't do damage to your car... it happens all the time and these things break easily....

although he should not have held them together with zip ties- and he didn't do anything to help. Please call me…

Purchase of four (4) new FIRE HAWKS 18" tires that was very ruff to the drive... return several after realizing the X rated tires was too hard and the vehicle shakes at 60/80 highway speed. Alignment done [off site location twice] , Balance done 3 times at Firestone.

My vehicle was turned into Firestone to have a tire repaired. I was informed that the tire had to be replaced. Firestone informed me that they had to order the tire and it would be in the following day. Upon Firestone putting the tire on my vehicle, I requested Road Hazard for the tire. Firestone informed me that they do not offer Road Hazard because it is not their tire. I asked who tire is it. I was told the brand of the tire. I stated but I brought it from you, you installed it, but you do not offer Road Hazard. The associate replied, that is correct.

We came in for an oil change and cvi. They were very busy and we knew we would need to wait which was fine. We were out and from a distance watching the techs in the shop moving very quickly.

More so fast paced thsn ive seen at any other shop. I saw the store manager come into the shop and target one employee. The one guy that looked to be doing more vehicles then all the other people yet the manger targeted him calling him a "piece of trash" and "fucking worthless" for not being able to move even faster than he already was (keep in mind this tech appeared to be basically running from car to car) and

I had an appointment at 1:00 pm at the firestone store in Fitchburg ma. I sat there for 3/4 of an hour waiting an not one person said anything to me about my appointment they were to busy Joking and fooling in the cars bay area.

I was buying 2 Firestone tires + other stuff that I needed. 99 that is if I stay waiting longer then the 3/4 hour that I already waited for whoever was in charge of that place. First of all I would like to say that I have gone to Firestone to service my vehicle for many years. I never had an issue until recently. I have a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe. In 2018 I took the vehicle in because the vehicle would not crank on the first try and when I put gas in it gushed out.

The service engine light was also on. I took it to Firestone and was told I needed a fuel pump. They replaced the fuel pump, air filter, and fuel & induction decarbonization. This was June 2nd and picked up the Tahoe on June 3rd.

On June 11th, I had the same problem, so I took it back. I was told that I needed the Vapor Canister. I don't remember all the details but I said ok. I continued to have the same problem with the enigine light coming on, warning message to tighten gas cap and it still would not…

I am very angry with firestone since I only lost my time and work I went on Friday to r make oil change and tire rotation to my 2013 are loading and were busy we made an appointment for today Monday at 12pm and they tell me that they can't do a flat tire rotation after a while they tell me that they can't do the oil change because they are loaded since they have always been going on since 2015 or before they have been doing tire rotation and

oil change in the same conditions and There was never an excuse so far I have been disappointed to pay my firestone card and I will not continue with you I will not follow them recommended.

I'm sure this complaint will never get to the higher-ups at Firestone, but I'm writing it anyway. Firestone should be ashamed of themselves the way they train their employees to upsell products that customers don't need immediately, and actually lie, just a little to get customers to agree to more maintenance.

I have the lifetime alignment at Firestone on my vehicle. Because of that, they constantly try to upsell me, or try to tell me other stuff on my vehicle is in jeopardy. That's simply because they are not going to make a dime on a free alignment.

The guy told me at the Portland, OR store #14117, that they could not do the alignment because my tie rods were frozen. I would have to buy new tie rods first. They also told me my front struts were wasted.

February 9, 2020 I made an appt. for 11:00 for my son truck to be serviced and for some reason they said they did not have an appt. for his truck which I have the order and confirmation that this appt. was confirmed. my son told me they ordered a part for his truck and that he needed another part and I told my son to go get the sensors he needed and the part they ordered did not fit so therefore my son had to speak to someone at the ford company to get the correct part.

I finally called and spoked with Anthony about my son truck and he told me what was wrong and I told him what I agreed to have done which was to re-place the pipe to the intake hose / pipe and the fuse pump. Hello, this morning i took a wheel with a flat tire to the firestone shop on Woodruff rd. Greenville Sc. 00. The tire wheel was off a 2019 Honda rrdgeline. I picked the wheel up and found two small nicks in the paint of the wheel.

aprox the size of a bb . One of the reasons i took the tire off myself was fear they would scratch up the area around the lug nuts. this happend to my sons mustang at the same location around a year or so ago.

brand new rims and they marked them all up. they gave him a certificate to wheel repair shop. getting it fixed took him a half days time to get it done. 00 to touch my small spots as i do not have time to take it somewhere!

this is really disheartening when you pay an amount of money for a new tire and end up with damage and no one notices. lack of care…

Poor customer service at this Location, 950 Palm Ave. Imperial Beach, CA 91932. On 2/13/2020 08:00 am, I had a problem with my Air condition not turning on. Judith was the person assisting me behind the counter. After 2 hours, I was told that it was the Blower harness connector and it would arrive at 15:00 pm, Judith suggested I take my vehicle home and wait for the call to let me know the part has arrived.

So I continued to wait. At 16:30 pm , I received a call from the Service technician; Luis who apologizes to me and tells me that the parts driver arrived without the Blower Harness my vehicle needed. I was upset and ask why was He calling me and not the Manager?

I scheduled an appointment to complete a State Inspection. I was told the State Inspection would take approximately 1 Hour. No problem, that’s why I scheduled an appointment and I would wait for the vehicle. 90 minutes later I inquired as to the status of my vehicle, I was informed there were 2 Vehicles ahead of me.

What was the reason for the appointment? Then they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to reschedule? Why? You can’t keep appointments.

Additionally, they never communicated to me there were vehicles ahead of me. They just expected me to wait for eternity? I will take my business elsewhere. Thanks Firestone for wasting 90 minutes of my life.

On or about 8/5/2019, I went to the INTERNATIONAL speedway Firestone store in Daytona beach, Florida. I brought tires from this store with road hazards warrants and when I had and currently have the problem with the same tires I was told that the tires were alright.

By state law anytime another tire service company make recommendations its shall be accepted and problem resolved. On or about 11/25/2019 I had my vc gasket fixed, I assumed and on 2/5/2020 Toyota, in Daytona beach had to re do and fix oil leaking there after it was told to be fixed.

Hi. I got my oil change at the rockwall tx location. I paid for a synthetic oil change bit noticed today the technician put on my sticker 3,000 miles instead of 5,000 miles. NOW I'm wondering if they actually put synthetic or not!

So I called them and they said that it is just an error with the sticker and not the oil but HOW do I KNOW??? If they can mess up with something as simple as a sticker then they can surely mess up on putting in the proper oil.

I drive a camry hybrid so it is ESSENTIAL i have the correct oil. I would like a refund so i can get my oil changed again but elsewhere. Please respond as soon as possible because i do not want my car messing up! Thanks.

On Saturday my boyfriend went twice to the location to get my vehicle fixed. The employees broke the hose in my engine. After speaking multiple times with adam in service they stated they would help us out because of the hose they broke.

I came in on tuesday to get the hose and engine fixed and when I spoke to adam in person he told me that the hose was brittle and was going to break anyways. I told him it was not broken before they went in there and after him trying to justify them breaking the hose he finally said he would give me the discount to cover the hose.

The location then told me it would take 2 hrs, the repair took over 3 hours and they did not move my vehicle to the front like all the other customers and I had to walk to the bay area where they left my vehicle.

I recently took my brand new work truck to get serviced at fire stone. The rotated all four of my tires. But forgot to put on a my middle cap. When I asked the manager what happened. He said he’s not sure.

He took a picture of the cap and told me he would place an order for a new one and would call me to pick it up. I again took my vehicle to get serviced and I spoke to the same individual who took the picture and told me he’d place the order.

He said the middle cap is on back order and Maybe the piece just fell off at the last service when I drove off. He said those things happen. Poor customer service. They not only lost my center cap. They lied about replacing it and instead of telling me they would not replace it they brushed it off as not a big deal.

I bought 4 tires from the Firestone store in Apple Valley Mn. I used my Firestone credit card and got a $100 debit card with the purchase. Apparently my old address was on the credit card. The bill was not sent to the current address on invoice or address on driver licence that was asked for at time of purchase.

Then received bill from a Collection Agency for the bill of tires and $300 interest. Before I got notice off past due bill which I never received I went back to the same store and had $175 worth of work done with the idea of using the debit card.

Debit card was invalid and credit card so I had to pay the $175 in cash. Called Firestone and was told its my fault because of address on card account and that I have to pay collections. Why wasn't bill sent to address on the invoice and…

I was a customer at west Babylon New York and I am completely disgusted with one of your technicians. Thomas Gerdts, not only did he smell like marijuana his eyes were glazed over and his eyes were pinned. I think he was on drugs fixing my vehicle.

That is beyond unprofessional and from that experience waiting over 4 hours for my car to be fixed, I have had problems ever since my experience at Firestone. I will never be coming back and I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years.

I can not believe you hire unprofessional technicians. I have warned many people about your shop In west Babylon and what I had experienced. I am applauded by this situation.

I had an appointment at 4:00PM on 1/28/20 to diagnose why wipers were not working. I was told it was a common problem in the winter, and if it was what they thought it was (transmission), then the parts would be in stock, and my car would be fixed.

They also said they would get my car in right away since I had an appointment. TWO HOURS later, I was told they finally took my car in and checked it out. They insisted I needed a wiper transmission and motor costing $450.

I am a widow on social security. I took my 2002 Ford in for the yearly inspection 3/22/2019. This store had done over 2000 dollars of work less than a year ago.. They said all 4 brakes needed replacing. --cost over 500 dollars.

The manager told me I could drive the car home and park it, then drive back when I wanted the brakes fixed. As I was backing out the brakes gave, my foot slipped onto the accelerator and I crashed into their building.

I tried to stop but the brakes wouldn't hold. I got a citation for driving with impaired brakes, spent weeks with a body shop when finally deemed it totaled because my insurance would not pay enough to fix an older car.

I would like to dispute the majority of charges to this card. The issue started with my care over heating. 1. Tech suggested that water pump needed to be replaced. Stated maybe thermostat. Tech tested car with new water pump car ran fine. Picked car up car overheated. Went back same-day to install new thermostat. Charged for both. Car did not need a water pump . I had a 10am appointment. I arrived at 945am. It took 30 minutes to check me in. I was the only customer in the building. Then I was told it woukd be 90 minutes for an oil change. I came back 90 minutes later and my vehicle was in the lot.

I was the only customer in the building still. Nobody said anything to me. I assumed they were getting my paperwork together. After around ten minutes I asked if I could get my car and they told me it has yet to be serviced.

I was in complete shock. While I sat there waiting I witnessed and number of customers arrive and be told there cars were not ready. They were all very upset. I made this appointment in advance to fit my schedule.

I went to Firestone #016063 Work order#154803 Ask for an alignment, after the alignment was completed I was told my car could not crank and I needed a battery. They asked did I want a battery or that I want them to JumpStart. I said jump start.

I took my car to Honda dealership, battery was tested. The results was I have a good battery. I feel they was dishonest and I will inform people of that. Thank you

I took my wife who suffered a dramatic brain injury and is on disability. Her AC went out in her 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. The Firestone store number 317133 in Pearland located at 9530 West Broadway Street told us her AC had a compressor leak and the upper high discharge intake had a leak that would require $1280 to fix.

We then took it to another mechanic and it only had a leaking hose that would only be a $100 to $150 to repair. I have been a customer for many years and I will probably never go back after this depending on how they respond to this complaint.

Hi. I’m writing to you again about my 2013 GMC Yukon that I had a wheel alignment done on and had to bring back and also ended up with a big scratch on passenger side of car! I’m bringing it back again!!

Was driving the parkway and when I hit 65 miles an hour the whole thing started to shimmy and pull to the right!! Had my daughter and grandkids in car. This is not acceptable!!! I’m taking a 2hr trip, 4 hrs total with them on Saturday.

Filed a complaint with Firestone after a basic oil change was messed up which resulted in my car leaking oil and having to take it for a 2nd oil change and clean up (when car was serviced it had no oil left in it - only drove it about 15 miles).

Received an email from a claims specialist who asked for some more details which was provided along with pictures. It has now been over a month and the person will not email or call back. Have sent several emails to him and left voicemails too. No response at all.

They have lost my entire families business.

took my vehicle for an oil change & to check for any belts or leaks. tire manager advised that they needed to do a oil leak detection w dye which I approved. the following repairs were done : Gaskets Engine: valve cvr gasket set both, remove replace spark plug tube seal both sides, Ball Joints: both lower-front remove & replaced.

I have the detailed envoice available for review if you want. I paid for the services & then took the car to 2 other estimates. BOTH advised: 1. cam seal/crank seal/valve cover/spark plug seals need to be repaired 2. upper arms/ball joint (safety issues) need to be repaired/replaced Other leaks that were NOT found or listed by Firestone.

) but based on 2nd opinions of TWO service centers was not completed correctly.

Negative Infinity stars For insinuating me as a liar and insulting my intelligence in front of the employees and other customers.

So I went to Firestone on 9/30/19 for an oil change for my van. I was charged like 50.00 for this oil change which I did not mind because I thought I was getting an oil change from the best. By Dec my oil was so low I had to add more. I thought it was because I drove too much, but that wasnt it because then all that new oil leaked out, so I called a mechanic. Come to find out my oil filter was left very loose which caused the oil to leak. So I called Firestone right away and was told to bring in my van. They took a look then asked me if I had an oil change anywhere else. I insisted I hadn't because I came to them and they were supposed to be one of the best,…

Today (1/25/20), I had an appointment for an oil change at 7 am at the Store #003131 (510 W Market St Greensboro, NC 27401-2208 ). I arrived there at 6:50 am and I waited and waited for someone to open the door; I waited for 35 min.

I had to awake up so early on a Saturday morning to get there and be waiting, is not fair. The store hours are from 7 am to 6 pm; not 7:30am-6pm. Firestone needs to respect their appointments, specially in a cold Saturday morning.

I will like for someone to talk to the service adviser (jerry or jarrod) and talk to him about how in responsible for his part to open a business 30 min late. I am not expect for him to be terminated but for someone really needs to talk to him about been more responsible.

This complaint is regarding your store on Tully Rd in San Jose.

I called this morning to make appointment for alignment for 1:30 pm. Got one. But the person didn't ask for my name. So, I called back to give him my name. He said "No. Just show up at 1:30." He said it would take 90mins.

When I showed up at the store, manager says there is no appointment in his system. So, I told him about my earlier conversation. He just shrugged his shoulders and said he would have the car ready by 5pm. I asked him about 90 min wait. He said he would have it done by 5pm.

I told him that had traveled 16 miles for this appointment. No reaction. He curtly asked me if I wanted to drop the car off or not. I couldn't wait four hours. I didn't know he was the manager. So, asked him if I could talk to the…
