Invoice 245372 - I went to have my car inspected and have them find the reason for squeaking. They came back and said I needed new brakes all the way around. I was very surprised. Never questioned or asked to see (didn't know I could do that) I could not afford to have them all done.
I trusted them and never thought I would be taken advantage of, but I was. 96. I took my car to a place that does brakes and told them I need to have the front replaced and asked if they needed to be changed.
The fella looked at me and said why do you need to change these. There was no brake dust and no indication they needed to be replaced. I feel that Firestone in Albany took advantage of me and charged me for a service that was not needed.

I took my car to be repaired at the Dechard Tennessee Firestone business. I went back and got the car today. It had been there for three weeks. They told me week before last that they would look at it and would give me a diagnosis last week. And they didn't.
Here it is Wednesday so I went up there and they told me because of Xmas it would be another two weeks just to look at it.. I have not called them or been pushy. I only inquired about it but every three or four days. I was always polite.
Today I went in there and that's when they told me it would be two more weeks so I got my car and took it another mechanic in town to do it. To top it all off, one of their employees thought it would be funny to stick their chewing gun onto my windshield.
They gave me a quote of $53 to mount and balance 4 tires. I brought my own new tires like they already knew I was and somehow price changed from $53 to over a $180. Complete waste of my time and gas.
You need to look at hiring more honest and competent people. Complete garbage.
I brought my 2016 chrysler 300s to firestone in lake grove ny. Tech did not no how to do a oil change. After he added oil he never started the car to recheck levels because if he did he would caught this problem before I left.
I drove the car home smelling oil. I Open the hood when the car is running and oil is shooting out the the oil filter he installed wrong. Oil is all over the place. They picked up the car corrected the techs mistake and left grease on my hood and oil still all over the place after they said it would be cleaned.
Now I get to drive around in my 20,000 car that's spotless and smell oil till all this burns off. So I can't send a pic file to big. Please respond asap thanks
My vehicle was towed to your Loveland, CO location because it wouldn't start. The genius who looked at my vehicle thought it was a battery issue, he tried a different battery to try and start the vehicle but it failed to start.
After my vehicle spent more than 3 days at the location, i received ZERO communication from the shop. After calling the shop, they informed me they couldn't fix it and I should take it to the dealer. Here's the kicker!!
when they removed my battery, they never put it back, the genius NON SERVICE idiot (TAMMY) said that she couldn't guarantee that my battery would be put back before the tow truck got there to take it to the dealer. Set my appointment online along with buying my tires online 4 days prior to my appointment. I walk in and the guys can’t find my appointment and after sitting for 3 hours I inquire why my service is taking so long to replace 2 tires I am then
told the tires were not in stock at the store and they needed to retrieve different one from a different store. No one let me know at lol that I would be waiting 4-5 hours or even that they didn’t have the tires in stock until I had waited 3 hours and asked myself. This was completely unprofessional.
Several walk in with the same issue I had were in and out within 30mins to and hour and not once was I approached with why my service would take so long. They had me just waiting without a word said.
Took car in to have heater looked at and leak. The leak occurred after they changed filter. They admitted it was their mistake. $1000 later heater is broke and they forgot to bleed air from power steering. Power steering pump is now broke because air hit it.
They under filled radiator also.
I took my car to Firestone Prices Corner in Wilmington to get the alternator belt changed, right after that driving my car when I was getting almost near to my house the car broke down. I had to pay a towing services to bring my car back to the shop and wait around 4 hours for them to tell me that my car didn’t want to start and

They told me I would have to drop my car off and get back at 6pm. No accommodations at all, excuse was as always we are under staff. I go to another location, not convenient at all-25 minute drive, the guy took 25 minutes to tighten the battery post and clean some corrosion.

I have been stewing over this for a month and finally decided to report my issue. I took my vehicle in for an oil change on or about 11/4/22. When I came to pick up my car the mechanic had left his filthy greasy prints on my driver door, passenger door and the hood. In addition I noticed a very slow drip from the oil on my garage floor. Obviously he/she didn't completely screw the bolt in. In 50 years of having my vehicles serviced I have never had this happen. I paid $70 for the oil change and was returning the following week for some additional repairs with an estimated price of $800-900. The more I thought about it I just couldn't return to have any more work done. I do have photo documentation but have not download to my computer yet but will if necessary.

Took my car in for a check engine light. Picked the car after spending $1398 check engine still on. Walked back in immediately and told them it was still on. They came out and cleared the code and said if it comes back in bring it back.
Needless to say it was back on within 24 hours. Took the car back and was told they knew nothing about a check engine light and would check it out said it would be an additional $982 to clear the code correctly.

I was in for a tire rotation and lied to, my tires were never rotated, I realized becouse I kept having issues with the same tire, loosing air. After I finally talked to the Manager Q, he finally told me that the key tire lock was damaged.
Unfortunately I lost all trust! I just can't believe that a small thing became a big issue if only they would have told me they damaged the key to begin with. I would never recommend Firestone again and If I could worn anyone I would.

They called me and told me the Alternator had been repaired ,everything is workin fine . i walked 1.5 miles to retrieve my car. i took my car out that evening and the car broke down witin 20 minutes. The Alternator froze and was bad, and the starter caught on fire. I had to call a tow truck as I was 6 miles from my home at the cost of $123.00. I then had to go and rent two cars from AAA and from Enterprise at a cost of $810.00 for two weeks while waiting for a second Alternator to be replaced. 22 to replace a tire that had a bubble on it's side. I sent someone to pick up my car for me & I received a call from Ben (the service tech that worked on my car) wanting to know who the last person was to work on my car.
I replied that he is the only person I've ever had work on it. He rudely interrupted me letting me know that he ONLY changed my oil, but somehow when he started taking the tire off a stud broke off as well.

Went in for a scheduled oil change however their service manager said he would not honor the last price they charged and the charge this time would be approximately double what is was last time.
He also would not honor a coupon I brought and made no effort to reach a compromise or take care of a loyal Firestone customer. He then made some unnecessary comments, was very rude, egotistical and disrespectful. My daughter took her Jeep in to have the oil changed. Shortly after, she was getting the oil pressure light on and the car will not start. We have to have it towed and whoever works there said they may have to keep it a while because they do not have a technician.

On Sunday December 11th I had an appointment for 10am with Firestone @6440 Laurel Cyn Blvd. After waiting 30 minutes a customer with a black Jeep came in without an appointment for an inspection that would take about 45mins according to the service person and was taken in before me.

Tools stolen out of truck while getting repaired
I had an appoint for 2pm today to get my tire with a nail in it and losing air checked out. The African-American female that checked me in talked with her fellow employee and did other things for about 20 minutes before checking my vehicle in and taking my key to be back.
In the meantime, another customer walked right in and got her vehicle taken to the back immediately. I asked the customer if she had an appointment. She told me that she did not. I inquired to the manager why my vehicle has not been taken in.

Re: Firestone store Flower Mound, TX, 2704 Flower Mound Road. On Wednesday Nov 30 went to store to have tire tread check. Needed new Destination tire replacement and TX state inspection. After many missteps by service person Judge Smith telling me tire in my size no longer made (even though Destination tires displayed in store) a second person after some time found tires available for shipment to store.

Regarding Firestone: my truck had wheel bearings basically go out. I saw Firestone when driving home and pulled in. next day they quoted me close to 700 for wheel bearings and brake job. Day after that they call and say spindles we're shot on front right and left side price jumped to 1630 for repairs 799 of it was labor.

My family and I have been using Firestone for many years for all of our car services and tires. For the past year we all have made appointments ( 11) for work or tires to be done and every time the manger calls 2 hrs before our scheduled appointments and says he has no help so he needs to reschedule the job.

Brake service and customer service. I've got my brakes served here for years out of convenience of the north hollywood location. But I've always have the same problem. I get my brakes done and take my car. Right after getting new brakes and roters my car is squeaking for weeks.
Itake it for a second opinion to the dealership they inform me thier is no shims or that the brakes Firestone put are not compatible. I bing it back to Firestone location where they service it and they have to put on shims or replace the Brake pads.

The other 3 tires were fine and didn't have damage. When they replaced the tires in May, they didn't have the complete set and provided me another tire in the same price range of the Primewell tires. Keep in mind, I never had them rotated or aired them up (due to TPS system never stated they were low).

Several pressure sales later I would up purchasing 4 brand new tires, new brakes and rotors, new A/C Filter, windshield wipers, an oil change (where they pressured me on an additional sale for the dye let's me know where and oil leak is.

Scheduled an appointment for 4 new tires and alignment for 7:00am on November 19, 2022 for my 2017 Ford Escape. Called at 1 pm to check on status. Was told it was being pulled into the service bay to begin being worked on and would be complete by 2:30 pm. Called back at 3:45 and was told “we are running behind” and the car was just pulled into the service bay and should be complete by 4pm. Not sure it will be.
