I purchased two computers from the Best Buy store in Carmel Mtn, CA a couple of years ago and signed up for annual updates on the MS office and the Geek Squad support. My computer calendar stopped synchronizing with the calendar on my iphone for unknown reasons.

I called Geek Squad for help. After about an hour, the on-line technician "fixed" my synching problem but as I found out after the call, he'd lost other critical data within the app. After several more attempts to call back and have it fixed, the technician said I needed to take the computer to a Best Buy store.

My bad experience was when I called the total tech geek squad which I now feel is pretty much a waste of money my issue was not resolved and before I could fill out the survey I didn't have a chance to see if the problem was resolved. I was having trouble accessing my flashdriives so I wanted help with that issue.

I was on the phone for over 2 hours and didn't even know if the person was truly working on the issue or not. I got one message from that person stating he was working on the issue and I responded with ok.

i was charged for a service that i never had and when i called the number on the email it is now a medical service. the man had me download the refund portal for geek squad. which i did and i filled it all out and then they got in my computer and took money out of my bank account. com.

every time I use geek squad, my total experience. Today a five-minute job has taken 5 callbacks listening to children, dogs etc. the agent does not speak English correctly. the first call is from someone that has no business trying to use customers' computers to experiment on.

finally, after an hour they decide to reconnect you to the next level, they do not have any idea what is needed. it has taken me over 20hrs of time to fix the damage these people have done. I have been a customer for a total of 30 years, geek squad changed and should no longer be able to hurt all the innocent people that are paying for waste to time.

Had Geek Squad hook-up passive soundbar to Sony tv and connect to my Amplifier...The guys were courteous-however, I'm unsure of their

I called Geek Squad last week, because I couldn’t get connected to my WIFI. The tech couldn’t help me and set up an appointment on Wednesday 2/8/2023 between 7am-1:00. ( Almost a week later) I thought I would try tech support one more time.

The second tech attempted to hep me, but said I needed an in home consultation. I told her I had tye appointment above. She told me the appointment was made for Saturday 2/11/2023. I explained that the first tech gave me the Wednesday date and wasn’t Available on Saturday.

I have been a member for several years, and usually am pretty satisfied. My last 2 encounters with Geek Squad Members were horrendous to the point where I am considing returning my brand new 1500 lap top that I bought from Best buy. The computer is not recognizing the printer, but I also print from my phone and another computer and have no issues the tech had me do the same thing over and over again, then disconnected me and never called back. I took my computer in for repair and expressed what was important to not lose. They said ok. Got bad news and it was unrepairable. So I told tech jesse that I needed my quick books photos and documents and he said he would try and retrieve all on usb.

I have the total tech plan. I called the total tech line on or about 1/30/2023 due to having issues with my encrypted flashdrives. I only remember the persons last name that supposedly was working on my issue was Dey.

He was on my computer for at least 2 1/2 hours and I heard from him once that he was working on it. I said ok. The next thing I see is a survey regarding the service I received. Now I had to do the survey before I could even check and make sure the issue was solved which was beyond stupid.

I needed help getting an ethernet connection to work. I contacted Geek Squad via chat and got an agent called Sudipta. When I described my problem he told me to contact my isp. I informed him that I was on tech support with them yesterday 4 or 5 times, and they hadn't been able to help me.

Then he said call this number for assistance, gave me the toll free number, and ended the chat. Which I found very rude and unprofessional. And the chat window disappeared before I could take a photo of the conversation. He really needs to be better with the customers.

My Dishwasher was worked on a few weeks ago. The techs ferry determined it needed two valves. They ordered the valves and came back a week later. It didn't fix the problem. Now they set the appointment 8 days later.

A refix should come right back and fix it. As a former mechanic if I replaced a part on a car and the customer came back with the same problem we pulled it back into the shop right away. We didn't tell them to come back weeks from now.

I purchase a Watcher machine 4 years ago and purchase a warranty. My machine broke and contact warranty, they setup appointment for third party for services, they diagnostic need a part and they informed will be done in 10 days. Is been 2 weeks and every time I called nobody give answer. The Geek Squad service is extremely incompetent!! I purchased a Pioneer touch screen radio as a gift. It worked for 2 days, so I called to schedule a service appointment, and was told the next appointment was 3 weeks out.

I wasn't happy, but OK, this needs to get repaired. When I brought the car in, I waited 1 1/2 hours for the repair to get done. The next day the radio doesn't work again!!! Ridiculous and a very unhappy customer!!!!

I contacted the Geek Squad tonight about missing files in my Outlook. I had two different Technicians and both of them disconnected me. I even saw the second Technican shut down my computer. They never called me back after we were disconnected.

They never gave me a chance to do a survey - nothing. I Chatted again for the Third Time with a Geek Squad Clerk and asked them to call me and they said they couldn't but I could chat with them online, which I did.

I even asked them to have a Supervisor to get in touch with me and they never replied and eventually they disconnected with me as well. I am highly upset, disappointed and disatifisied with the Geek Squad Service.

I used your online Geek Squad appointment scheduling tool to create an appointment to get a new battery for my iPhone 12 Pro phone. Upon arrival, I was told the store has not had replacement batteries for phones in a while.

Seeing that I was scheduling a battery replacement service, it would have been a lot more helpful if the scheduling system verified availability of parts before making me drive 25 minutes each way to and from the store. Your software should have prevented that appointment from being scheduled, or, if that capability is not there, then the store should have called to let me know they did not have batteries before making me waste over an hour of my day.

I called and scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad a little over a week ago to see what my options are with my phone, I had broken my screen on a Galaxy S21+, this was told to the Gee Squad before appoint was made at the Lexington, SC location. When I arrived I spoke to a young lady at the counter who at that point informed me they are not an authorized dealer for Samsung and can't repair my phone.

Renewed (and paid in full) Webroot Internet Security for one year on 1/19/2023 but the subscription shows only for 37 days.

1. I called the Geek Squad Tech Support. The agent did a web session and couldn't figure out the issue. She asked me to call the subscription department. I requested to connect me to the subscription department or to the manager. But the agent disconnected the call.

2. I called the Subscription department. The agent told me that a new key needs to be issued. There was not a definite answer when the new key will be issued. Initially she said 3 days, and then changed that to 5 days. I asked for a manager or the customer service complaint number but the agent disconnected the call.

Good evening, I took my laptop to Geek Squad on 1/16/2023. The issue was that my Dell XP 13 was not picking up any wifi signal. It took a day to figure out what they thought the problem was. 99), that it was my hard drive.

I don't know what has happened to Geek Squad over the past year or so, but they have set the bar so low that no one EVER will be able to go lower. The tech agents are less than worthless.

I don't know under what rock or on what isolated island these people are being found. For my last 3 interactions (between remote sessions and in-store sessions), one resulted in 2 follow up visits and 2 resulted in 3 follow up visits, none of which resolved my issues.

The in store tech actually told me to NEVER call the remote techs. Therefore, I was forced into going to a 3rd party to have my computer repaired and made usable, at my expense beyond my total tech support plan.

Hi, I activated my greek squad account in 2019, and the payment was successful without delay. In between, I had to do 2 services too. This September, I added one laptop for my son to my account. Then only I could realize that my payment is pending for the last 5 months.

I am currently on a call to one of your agents for the geek squad and the agent was very rude and refused to help me. Agent refused to transfer and said that he would do release the line. I have been on this call for an hour with no resolve.

I would like to make a formal complaint with regards to geek squad international remote support. I have been scammed on my bank acct , Coinbase acct, crypto accts, Apple gift cards. This makes no sense that this fake remote geek squad scam was reported back in 2020 by another of BB GS users.

Why had Best Buy not put in proper protection or fail safes to protect their users. These are Indian hackers who are using ANY DESK generating bank, Coinbase and crypto scams that look legitimate as they are generating directly from your ip address.

Once in your device they gain access to all your financial assets. They contacted Coinbase and changed my passwords, who knows how many crypto or Bank accounts they used this technique to scam me out of US$ xx, 000. 00.

A Geek Squad Technician was sent to my home on January 6th, 2023. I made the appointment in the Porter Ranch store, but got no paperwork, just told me the date of the visit.

I had Many issues with this visit... 1.Technician presented no proof he was from Best Buy or even wore any identifying clothing. 2. Wore no mask or even asked. 3. Wore shoes into my house with no shoe covering. Took my computer to BB store Collington location. This was a return for a new computer on advice of GS in home service. I was first asked A. To let them service it. I refused and requested that they take a look at the notes B.

I spent over 1 hour on online chat with two separate people, neither of whom helped me or addressed my issue (getting a free movie code via email that was not valid). The first person transferred me to another department who he said would help me. I waited 25 mins for this person to 'arrive.' I ordered a treadmill last year that broke and was within the warranty coverage time. An exchange was approved, and we scheduled a date for delivery and pickup. It's been three months, and no one has showed up to deliver the new treadmill or pick up the broken one.

every week we get bogus calls from best buy with no one on the other line. then I get messages to be home on a certain date every week and no one shows up. it is virtually impossible to get through to anyone when even trying to file a complaint.

I purchased a protection plan for my Galaxy Zfold 3 phone when I purchased it in October 2021. I recently had a problem with the phone and took it into Best Buy service/replacement. I was told that my protection plan had been cancelled in March 2022.

I did not cancel the plan. I did not receive notice of the cancellation. The plan was automatically deducted from my checking account. I called Geek Squad and after more than an hour and 7 representatives, I received conflicting accounts of why the plan was cancelled (although all agreed I did not cancel it) and no assistance. I cancelled my geek squad in May 2022 and received a reference number to support same. 99 from them every month. I tried connecting with them and they said they have no record of this even though I took a picture of the chat, cancelling my service with the reference number.

I had an appointment scheduled several days in advance for Jan 2nd to fix a landline phone. ( purchased new) I receive a call from Geek Squad twenty minutes prior to the appointment time on Jan 2nd,stating that I would have to reschedule, as our appointment was somehow mixed up with a WASHER/DRYER REPAIR! REALLY!

Recently I bought a Lenovo All in one computer for my mom. When I realized how little RAM it had I decided to upgrade it. I scheduled the appointment and included in the notes exactly what I needed. When I arrived, the Guy at the counter, who acted as if he'd never seen a computer before,looked it over and said he needed to take it in the back.

We have been waiting over 3 months now to have a $2000 TV be fixed since we were sold one with a bad panel. It took weeks just to have the replacement panel sent and delivered. To which the panel was delivered AFTER the schedule repair service appointment.

Then we waited weeks for the rescheduled repair service just to find our the replacement panel was ALSO faulty. Now we’re going through the exact same process all over again when being told by customer service that we would be scheduled the following day after receiving the second replacement panel just to be rescheduled weeks out again.

Representative insisted that I was able to install more RAM on my laptop. I told her I might have soldered RAM and to please check. She lied and said she looked it up. Of course I checked with the manufacturer before dropping off my laptop and I was right.

Zero stars. Zero help. Paid for an install that they came and said they couldn’t do so left refrigerator in middle of kitchen and told me to call and make a new appointment which I did and twice nobody showed up.

Called customer service and was talking to them with zero resolution for 2 hours while there was a Christmas party in the background and apparently no manager available to speak. Probably at the Christmas party. Christopher King is WORTHLESS - he sent me an email cancelling a second install appointment but has since not returned any calls or answered any emails nor did he reschedule.

So no we are just have an unusable, new refrigerator in the middle of the floor for a week with no solution.

00 in membership fees. I called to ask about this as it is a bogus charge. The phone was answered by a very rude person who told me I was trying to scam them... It was the second time he was rude.

I asked to speak with a supervisor and was hung up on. I have checked further into this issues and it appears to be fraud. The fact that this person hung up on me before even trying to address my issues speaks volumes about this company!!

I suffered racism as being a temp employer for Best Buy thru the Malone agency, I was called black low life by a internal employee of geek squad, then instead of trying to solve the issue, HR just decided to fire me, this is racism, they condole racism, and allows their internal employees to mistreat and be racist towards the temps.

I don’t recommend to work here, unless you wanna suffer a bad experience. I asked HR to file a complaint against said worker, and instead they just fire me, after I ask for their help. I never received any report or anything, I never signed any thing, and instead they just contact my staffing employer and wants to fire me.

I will proceed to file a legal complaint against said person and geek squad since they want to praise racism.

Barnes name there was constant errors with communication coming directly to me. Approximately 2 wks later after getting in touch with GS told that my Motherboard was burnt out and needed changing. I immediately set another appt and purchased it. Waited approx.

2 more weeks had an appt. ended waiting another 1+ hours received my computer but now told that an internal battery inside the mother board was no longer working and could not e fixed. I as also told that Toshiba doesn't make computers so basically its obsolete.

(a) why wasn't I made aware of both issues prior to spending money on my pc. 0 hours (d) all the keys are now sticking (I found this out maybe month later when I was able to use it) So I bring it back at the earliest apt I can get. to another store location.

I was trying to ask a question about adding a warranty for a product. The rep sold me a warranty for the wrong product and then I asked that to be refunded and instead he canceled a different warranty I already had.

I can't reach anyone now to talk to them about this. This is not just caring about your customer this is malicious behavior.
