One of your Geek Squad employees, ELIAS, is working with scammers. I called GS on SUNDAY, JULY 10, 2022 late in afternoon, CST. Went through the auto instructions to be ready for an agent. Agent couldn't get to my account & I asked if there was anyone who could help.

I asked why and got no real answer. Long story short, that person told me I had been hacked many times and wanted $363 to fix it. Because I thought I was still speaking with a GS agent, I supplied ccard info.

I started my morning with a call to geek squad. I've been trying to get a routine tune up and performed on my computer and connect my printer to my computer. This is my third attempt this week. They have done nothing to resolve my issues. I've called there team1-800-433-5778.

A geek squad associate named Raul answers the call. He performs his routine questions, then tells me he will connect me to an agent. I have been a geek squad total tech support member for several years. For the first few years they were great but for the last year or two they have been terrible. I have spent weeks trying to get help for a computer problem but they would quit working without letting me know.

I finally went in to a store and was told I needed a knew computer. I bought one and they were not able to transfer my info to the new computer and were not able to tell me what the password was that they put on my new computer, so I can’t use the new computer.

I have to take it back to the store so they can reset my password. Find someone else for your tech support.

After the comp. was updated, not my choice, Just changed over night. Drove 20 miles to Best buy, Geek Squad, I was told there was nothing wrong and they could not fix it anyway???????????????????????? Customer for many years and lots of purchases and dollars. Bought a contract and did not renew,was uncomfortable with their service people. I am 83 and know something is wrong. Will never return.

Order # 80438868 ; Had Geek Squad come out to setup my printer & Trouble shoot my system because I moved to new Apt on August 06, 2022 . He try to connect to my computer for 1 hour with out any luck !

Said I needed another cable to make it work?? Was supposed to come back the following week ? No show , no call ! So I still don’t have my printer connected ! Very unprofessional with no follow up .

I was on a remote session twice tonight none were able to fix my problem. Session 1/ With agent Sophia Leonika, session stopped at 11:53, she never came back on or tried to call me. Session 2/ Session set up by Guillermo, transferred me to level 2, Agent Sounak. He worked approx 45 minutes. I walked back into my office as he was finishing up. I pay for a 24/7 membership with Geek Squad. I called today to get two problems fixed with my Dell laptop, which I purchased from Best Buy in October 2021. The camera was not working; and I wanted to connect my laptop with my printer via wireless network.

I called at 3 PM and spoke to Agent Rowena. She had a heavy accent and I had great difficultly understanding her. We finally got connected via remote after two tries and she said a "second level" agent would remote in. That never happened.

She called and left a message on my voice mail (I was outside and did not hear the phone ring); I could NOT understand a word she said and there was still no agent working remotely on my computer. I finally ended that remote chat and called again and got connected with another agent.

We had an issue with our KitchenAid refrigerator Ice-Maker not dispensing ice and ice melting in the bin. We had three different repair technicians from AIG come and replace different components which helped temporarily, but did not resolve the issue due to the fact that the ice continues to melt in the bin causing the auger to freeze over. One of the technicians ordered an Ice Door, but it was never installed. He said there was an air leak allowing humid air to get into the ice bin which caused the ice to melt. This door was supposed to resolve the issue.

9in from Best Buy and received the correct iPad with the wrong charging cord. I am dibbled and not able to drive to the store, so instead of just sending in the correct cord, the only suggestion was to either 1) Drive to the store and

exchange the cord (something I can not do at this time) or 2) send in the ENTIRE iPad back to then be sent back the correct cord w/ the iPad. I'm sorry, but that is a major inconvenience for a mistake that was not mad on my part.

I am writing on behalf of my father, in regards to a laptop he owns. An ASUS laptop with Pentium processor and 8GB of RAM. This originally came with Windows 8 and he was experiencing latency in the OS. He wanted to install Norton 360 and remove any old spyware/malware detection apps as well as any other Virus scanners.

When he contacted the Geek Squad, an upgrade was offered to Windows 10 with assurance the upgrade would fix the slowdown problems. The upgrade was peformed, the charges (of however many hundreds of dollars) were made, and the laptop was returned.

West Hollywood, CA 90038 and the girl was completely useless. I had 4 things I wanted to fix/set up related to Windows 11 in my new laptop and she wasn´t even able to help not even with one thing. I left with my laptop exactly as it was before.

She doesn´t know anything and she didn´t even bother asking her co-workers for help on all the things she didn´t know so basically she just kept saying "this is not possible" when I know it is. Today I had to carry the laptop with me the whole day, I left my job earlier to make it on time before Best Buy closed and had to take 2 buses to get there, and all that just to end up getting a lousy and useless service.

Absolute worst customer service – please read before thinking about purchasing this protection plan. I have been paying into Geek Squads cellphone protection plan since I purchased my phone (almost 2 years now). I physically damaged my phone and I called to begin the process of them sending me a new phone (the service this company provides for paying monthly into their plan).

Geek Squad charged me some $1,800 to my credit card and told me I would receive a new phone in 3-5 business days. 9 business days passed and I still did not receive the phone I paid for. I called to inquire and I was told that the request was cancelled.

I took my phone into Geek Squad at Best Buy at 6600 22nd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 today for diagnostics due to my iphone XR randomly shutting itself off. The technician, whose name I cannot remember at this point, he was a white guy with blonde beard, said that it was probably a software issue and that I would likely need a new device.

He said he would run diagnostics on it to see if he could find something wrong with it. In the mean time (prior to my appointment) I had purchased a new ipad and external hard-drive which I told the technician I intended to back up my phone prior to getting a new one.

I replaced an Apple TV box. My current remote (Universal Remote MX 9000) was not programmed to operate the Apple. I called Total Tech and scheduled an appointment to program. I explained that the remote needs programming by computer and was told no problem.

I was in a Best Buy store and inquired at the Geek Squad desk. I asked if I should bring the remote in - answer no - I asked them to put the exact remote description in the notes. So now I have an appointment between 7AM and 1 PM.

Spend all day yesterday working with Level 2 geek squad support to sync calendars and contacts to Microsoft 365. Best I can tell is they only thing they did was MS 365 which is no longer working. Always had good experience with Geek squad in the past. Yesterday was an abomination. The non level 2's were very supportive but the two level twos that worked on the computer did nothing. One reloaded 365 and then wrote success then hung up. Problem not solved. I assume you can look at the agents notes to review what happened yesterday. No longer happy with Geek squad. Talking to Apple today. I started working on this around 11:00 am and went through 6:00 pm.

I can give more detail if you cant look at the notes. I think you ill agree that the geek squad support was an illusion.

Geek Squad Tech support used to be top notch, but since support has been outsourced to other countries it has been extremely poor.

while asking for a tune up the agent Srijita was totally unfamiliar with my needs.

Finally, I was connected with agent "B" who called me, understood what was needed and stated "no problem". Well, she lost my Microsoft Edge, my email and games I play, When I got back into Geek Squad for restoration of the files, "expert agent Syeda Zahra H" was unable to help stating I had to contact Microsoft Edge for help.

Paying a lot of money to Geek Squad. The service has gone completely down hill. Terrible service, English language errors, and total unexperienced people. What will you do for me? Probably nothing.

I dropped my iPhone off on 6/26/2022 and was told it would be repaired within 10-14 business days. Today is day 20 with no phone and I've contacted customer service twice in the past 4 days and still have no idea where my phone is or when I will get it back.

I am Best Buy Top Tech member. Laptop in for repair. Left a message, waited for callback and never got one. Next day called and spoke with customer associate and left message for call back, called two more times and left message.

Never have I received a call back so far.

Also it should be clear to customers there isn’t record of Geek Squad online repairs available to Best Buy in-house Geek Squad. So far very angry and disappointed indeed.

I was told if I become Total tech member tech help and installation things will be free. When I ordered Tv installation they told me that I have to Pay $80 because it is over fireplace. I was not told this one before but I paid $80.

During the installation I realized that my TV screen size is a small I would need a bigger size than the geek squad person who was installing my TV told me that I can exchange this TV for a bigger one for no cost. I have Total Tech Support ($199 annually). Today I called because my messages on my iPhone and Macbook Air were not not syncing in SMS mode. My iphone was not receiving messages I sent to contacts (via my computer) who didn't have an iphone, and my computer was not receiving messages sent to contacts (via iPHone).

My originally call was at 7:10 am. By the time I was done at 8:20 am, the problem was NOT solved, the tech support person disconnected, leaving only a message that I should contact Apple.

Meanwhile, she somehow changed my Chrome browser to Safari, such that when I tried to log onto Chrome I got a pop-up saying I didn't have the right to access Chrome. I fixed that myself but it took 20 minutes. Next, I called Apple.

Geek Squad with Best Buy is horrible. I have been. attempting to have my computer issue addressed for 2 weeks weeks. Still no success. That Geek Squad is a bunch of hooey. You are connected to agents only to have your call disconnected and they never call back. clue whats going on.

You allow them to get into your system they don't even have the courtesy to let you know when they've ended the session. I have to abruptly end it myself. When my protection for this year has expired I will never use Geek Squad again.

What a disappointment they have been.

The wrong protection plan was used when I returned my watch and now I can't use the protection plant to upgrade my mom's watch. Customer service said I should have paid attention to the receipt and there was nothing he could do.

On June 12, 2022, I called Geek Squad for technical support: to identify an error I was receiving on Live Mail and stop it from reoccurring.

First agent connected me with the remote agent and they did not fix the issue. I called back and second agent connected me with remote agent and they never connected in the time that was stated. I called back, and the agent said it would take another hour for the agent to connect.

I waited and finally, the agent called me (number was toll free number). This agent had me log in a different way than other agents. He took hours and finally told me I had a virus on my computer and he would need to protect my online banking and online orders.

I was on my lap top computer from 9:55am and finally hung up just before 1am. I got as far as the 1st person that I was "Chatting with" his/her 1st name began with a M. Called Geek Squad as we were under the impression that Trend Micro was included with our annual Geek Squad tech support purchased from Best Buy. We were informed that we indeed should have Trend Micro, but it wasn't installed on our Mac computer. I made two recent appointments & in no individual showed up. No calls were received during the waiting periods. Several days ago I had a new computer installed and afterwords my printer was still not working. During each waiting period I called and each time I was informed the technician was on his way.

I paid for the $40 fee to have the geek squad try and get my printer to stop being off-line and to make sure the scanner was also working. I went through 3 agents and it is still broken. I have now spent over 3 hours on-line trying to get you all to make this right.

Your customer service sucks and they don't give you any way to get back in touch with the agents that have been working on my machine. Your system is flawed and as a programmer for over 25 years I can say that this is probably the worst system I've ever used.

I had my laptop worked on yesterday and something very fishy happened. While I was on the phone with the technician I started getting all of these notices that people were trying to get into my PayPal account my bank account on my Amazon account.

Then there was a charge to Best Buy for $100 gift card but they have since returned the money. The customer service is HORRIBLE. Managers promise gift card to be sent out, others take other file and say another defective refurbished phone will be sent out… I am on my 3rd DEFECTIVE FAULTY phone. This is NOT NORMAL. I tried 3 different Agents to work on my problem today. The first one failed to solve the issue on my browser, but instead resolved it for a browser I do not use. The second one downloaded a program, which I already had two of, stated that the problem was resolved, but it was not and then we lost connection. The third one not only did not fix the problem, they removed my primary browser, lost all of my bookmarks, and accomplished nothing but a lot of work for me.

I have never had anything but good service from Geek Squad in the past. I don't know how much multi-tasking they do but it is evidently too much for them as they do not pay attention to what they are being told and the work done today left me with more issues than it solved.

Absolutely made my day miserable.

Sir/Madam: I requested some help, referenced above, and I was given a time 5/14/22 (7.00 AM to 1.00 PM). Alas, I waited for 6 hrs but nobody came to install a light on my front door.

I called 1800 433 5778 around noon today. The gentleman who attended to my phone informed me that there was no order to perform the requested service and there was nothing he could do except schedule a home visit for next Saturday, 5/21/22. As I requested an earlier service and wanted clarification for this inordinate lapse, he just hung up on me.

Again, I called Geek Squad around 12.30 pm today. The lady who was assigned to help pleaded helplessness and rescheduled the requested home visit for 5/ 28/22 between 12.00 noon and 8.00 PM. Now…

I acquired an appointment for May 2, 2022 with a window for the Geek Squad to come to rewire and fix the issue of my TV turning on automatically for my 65” Samsung TV from 7:am-1:00pm for that date. I received confirmation emails and a then received a revised window from 8:00pm-12:00am.

Geek Squad never showed up, called or emailed me to inform me they were not coming! I then called Geek Squad again to make another appointment and to complain about the poor customer service! I received another appointment for May 5, 2022 Confirmation #1122112912408 and I also received a window confirmation for that date between 8:00pm-12:00am.
