I bought a laptop from BB. I paid for Office 365 I use Outlook I use Gmail. I wan to switch to Outlook mail. I couldn't do it myself so I call Geek Squad. I went through 5 agents In the end I asked to speak to a supervisor I was refused and told I would have to make an instore appointment.

I pay for Total Tech so I can have my problems solved at night or on weekends, not to be told to go into the store This is an easy thing to do I can get an email account from GMail in 30 seconds. Your techs should be able to do this in their sleep.

They shouldn't ignore my requests to speak to a supervisor. up until today I had great service. But I cannot imagine have any worse service then I received today Have someone call me back tomorrow and get my problem solved. 6500

A 3 year old GE washer has been broken for 6 weeks with no solution in sight. Everytime I speak with a Bestbuy rep i get no empathy or sense if urgency in fixing my washer. Had wet clothes stuck in the washer for 14 days before a tech could get the door open.

Now being told the drum/tub is broken. They do not follow-up nor return phone calls.

I needed help because my laptop screen was freezing up I was chatting with Rup Kumar and he told me I would have to pay forty dollars and I told him that I had just spent 200 for the total tech.He could not find it he refused to help me.Fortunately I tried again and and agent Natalie saw was I was talking about and fixed it in 20 minutes. I bought a laptop on September 21st, 2021 at the Best Buy store in Montréal, Canada (470 Rue Ste. Catherine O, Montreal QC H3B 1A6). It is an ACER A515-55-55R6. Since then, I have had to call on-line Geek Squad technical support at least three times, and telephone technical support once, and I have had to bring the laptop back to Best Buy/Geek Squad three times to have the computer repaired.

Two of these times the computer had to be sent away for several weeks to be fixed. The technical problems were all due to a malfunctioning of the computer itself. Needless to say, I am extremely disatisfied with the product.

At no time during the first month after my purchase, did any Geek Squad employee suggest to me that I could replace the computer. I was only informed of this once the date had…

Took my laptop to Geek Squad in Springfield,PA for software issue. Got my laptop back bottom of the laptop was open and mouse tracpad was broken and mouse not working. One employee had no idea why. Tried to fix it but could not.

Another employee took over, tried to fix it and said it he made it better. He said they had an issue using it and had to use a mouse because the tracpad was not working. This was NOT in the feedback paper they gave to me.

I called Bestbuy support and they got me a meeting with the stores supervisor. They looked at it and said nothing happen to it but they tried readjusting again. They said they checked the video on the maintenence but it was about a week-ish after so not sure if there even was video of them working on it.

Our Samsung dishwasher has had several service calls, but the very last service call back in September the technician could diagnose a problem and said it works fine. Shortly after my wife tried using it that evening it would not work just kept beeping with an error code.

The next day there was water sitting in it and it leaked onto our hardwood floor ruining that area. We set up another appointment with them the next day and it was scheduled for someone to come out in 2 weeks and my wife took time off of work for the scheduled appointment that no one came out.

I'm truly disappointed not only in my purchase of a new Dell from Best Buy but even more so their tech support. ) only to have to call back; same thing, over and over. I've repeated my issues so many times I'm ready to let the Geek Squad go!

I had soo much better service with Dell Support and a lot faster 'fix' without being transferred to one tech after another. Already I know that these complaints aren't don't mean a lot to the Geek Squad, but it's worthless for what I paid for it.

I won't be encouraging any of my PC friends to use them. If I could rate them less than one star I most definitely would. Check websites pertaining to this complaint, I'm not the only one by far. Shame shame for failing to meet the standards the Geek Squad has.

100 words not enough. Purchased GS coverage for a year.

First time used was time consuming, rude but after great anguish and complaining iue was solved.

However, three times in two days GS and Best Buy failed. I went through all the prompts, was connected to service technition who was successful in getting access to my computer. WHILE HAVING CONTROL OF MY COMPUTER EACH SERVICE TECHNITION HUNG UP ON ME. ALL THREE OF THEM.

Strange, the next day I was contacted by Amazon with unauthorized activity on my account.

Their call centre is terrible. I have asked them to cancel my service and they didn't. 1.5 month later I had to ask them to cancel it again, asked for refund, and they said they will refund and instead they charged me for all the time they didn't cancel my service.

Paid $199 to have a 63" plasma TV mounted on a wall. One man showed up to do a two man job. Now I have to wait another six days to get it done properly. The installer was very apologetic, but it wasn't his fault.

Upon initial contact with an agent in regards to an overheating battery I had an agent very quickly jump to “we’ll send you a new phone”. This seemed odd so I confirmed verbally multiple times that the phone would be new and the same as my own. The agent confirmed this multiple times. Upon receipt of a shoddy looking phone I called in at which point a new agent advised me that it was a refurbished phone and that they couldn’t do anything. I recently used my AppleCare+ on my AirPods, when I had my first meeting a Geek Squad member told me that my AirPods would just be replaced because of the issues on them. He said to wait a few days and then pick them up.

I set an Appointment to do that, then I was given back the same old AirPods, I was expecting them to at least be fixed up, but they did nothing to fix them. They still have the exact same problem.

Then why did I pay for AppleCare? Just to be lied to? They could’ve at least been honest instead of telling me they were going to do one thing, then do another.

I dropped my phone, broke my camera lens on my phone. I contacted Geek Squad via phone, explained that I dropped my phone and broke one of the 3 cameras. She said they can fix it and asked if I wanted to make an appointment.

I have two complaints:

1. I bought a laptop computer that was set up by my local (McKinney, TX) Best Buy, which is where I purchased my service plan. When I got it home, the camera wouldn't come up. I took it back, where it was figured out to be a simple keystroke issue, but they "ran diagnostics" and the works. Now when ever I close the lid, or power down the computer and bring it up, I get an error message that says it has to restart. The machine has even brought itself out of sleep and powered up from shutdown on it's own.

2. I put my desktop in for service because Avast deleted the blue tooth capabilities during one of the updates. I included the dongle and headsets that I use. Best Buy had the computer for 4 days, running diagnostics and fixing the problem. I get the unit back to…

99 for Geek Squad Service. I needed help with a microsoft program. In the beginning they said they would be able to help me after I had explained the situation. They could not. On 9/28/21 I called and requested a refund, which was agreed upon and that it would take 3 to 5 business days for me to receive it back in my bank account.

After 7 days I called back and they said it would be another 7 days. Still no funds. On 10/15/21 I called again, 7 techs later, and one real rude tech while waiting on hold I got disconnected. That was 2 1/2 hours on the phone with no results.

So again this morning I am on the phone, 10/18/21, so far 3 techs into todays session. Still no results, and waiting for a call back. I will never use Geek Squad again, and probably not best buy. S. shame on you.

I was scheduled at the Northtown Mall branch today, Sat, Oct 9 at 10:20am for broken hinge on my hp envy x360. Armed with my confirmation number, I went. The technician didn't even look at my laptop. He told me how much it costs to ship and the cost to diagnose and only then will they be able to give me a quote. Seriously?

I've been waiting for online support since 10:03 am. The time is from the Geek squad online support box that says it connecting . 10:03 am same box says connected. 10:03 AM applicstio running as windows system service. 5 hours for a technician.

Which us way to long. I'm a total support member and not happy with the wait time for support. There's been times where I phoned and waited over hour and been transferred and been disconnected from geek squads side and had to start all over.

I dropped my phone from a 60 foot scissor lift at work. I contacted Apple Care & explained my problem in an extreme amount of detail. The Apple Care customer service representative & I came to the conclusion that the phone was unable to be repaired, therefore, I would require a complete replacement.

I took my phone in because my hotspot does not work on my iPhone. The employee ran a diagnostic and said the phone is fine. Now, I am reviewing my case online and it states I brought my phone in for a cracked screen with no warranty.

I do have a warranty and my screen is not cracked. I took a video of my cell phone so if they would like footage evidence I can provide. I called today to speak with a representative to get the description in the case corrected the person hung up on me.

I then went online to the chat and they are claiming they are not an agent and will put me in contact with one. It clearly says speaking with a live agent and if that's not an agent then like wtf?

She was sarcastic on the phone, and did not want to complete the paperwork. I was in the process of giving her the Model Number and Serial number and she called me "A terrible Human Being" and Ended the Call. I called the geek squad replacement line and after sitting on the phone for nearly 30 minutes, the agent that answered the phone (Jim) did not respond after I stated the reason for my call. He remained quiet as I held the line for 5 minutes until he disconnected.

I’m assuming he did not want to take a call late in his shift so he pretended the line disconnected. This was so unprofessional. Geek squad normally serves me well but since Covid hit, the customer service from Geek Squad has been subpar.

Lack of ability to "fix" a problem due to lack of knowledge. On July 27, my birthday, I spent HOURS on the phone with one after another Geek [10 in total] trying to rid my laptop and cellphone of ALERT LOUDOUN messages. These are emails sent out regularly by the police department to let folks know about traffic, accidents, debris or weather issues on out local roads. A friend suggested I take my cellphone into Verizon [my provider, vs Comcast for computer] and a young lady there took maybe 30 minutes to delete every single one of those message! Gone. Cleaned up email memory space. WHY wouldn't a Geek Squad know this? " Go to the source" is now my mantra.

I explained I am nonambulatory (cannot come into the store). I bought the $200 service policy. I asked to have missing data for 1 document restored. After a remote session, I was not given a report and still do not see that the missing data has been restored.

I have called and called, to no avail. Callers are forced to go through a "wooden" dialogue with an automated operator which is not programmed to understand a subtle message . The operator will not connect me to a live agent.

I am told to call Best Buy, but that just results in the same go-around with the teleoperator. I feel like Best Buy has taken advantage of me.

Not only that but I renewed my "lapsed Tech support service" (never was notified of this) and so today was upsold on a Total Tech Support service plan.

My printer was printing blank pages and after fixing it my scanner started printing blank pages. The technician who remotely worked on my computer (after waiting 3 hours) got the scanner to print but afterwards you can not open the document it’s filed in!!!

The tech did not call and did not complete his job. Instead, I get an email stating all was fixed. No place for me to respond either. Called again and hours later still waiting. When my Total tech support runs out I’m done.

No total support just total frustration. Maybe when you start losing customers and go under you will listen; but I doubt it.

I pre-paid for $800 worth of service only for employees to show up without equipment with bad attitude lying about their names and disappearing before communicating they couldn't complete the job. I'm saddened and so disappointed because of this very fraudulent behavior.

This experience was unprofessional and disrespectful. Im very disappointed.

I received a notification of auto renewal of my web root virus protection today. When I purchased the program I was not informed that quto renewal was scheduled so I was surprised. and angry. I callled the number provided and after I identified myself the male person hung up. I called back.

I could barely understand him so missed his name. He finallly made clear what the renwal and duration were. I started to ask another quesstion and he hung up without notice. His rudeness is unblieveable. Hung up two times without notice!!!

I also know that I was not easy to talk to but his accent made it very hard to understand what he was saying. I was frustrated trying to talk to him. I realize that you can do nothing but want you to know the service provided by this person was substandard.

For 4 yrs I have paid monthly (aprox $35) for premium protection with Geek Squad for my laptop. I noticed the auto pmts stopped about 2 months ago I called to find out why. I was told the plan expired June 2021?

Why wasn't I sent an email it was expiring?? I asked if I could renew it, was told no, the rep mentioned Home Membership, I asked a few questions he couldn't answer eg does plan expire etc he said he would transfer me to someone who can sign me up and answer my questions, I said good.

That rep wasn't able to assist, wrong dept, he trans me back to the Geek Squad, but that rep was in the US and couldn't find my acct or any info, he transferred me to someone else who was able to give me info but not able to sign me up.
