about 1 month ago filed a claim for protection cellphone and paid money but your technical’s services wasn’t good and now my phone have problems in screen after that. 3 time i went to location you gave me for pick up package but they said :"we did not receive anything from UPS" .

i west a lots of time and money without any satisfaction result.

However, upon3 week of using my cell phone that fixed with you, problems started to appear.

On Monday August 2nd, I called the Geek Squad as I am paying on a monthly basis for service on my Insignia TV. I was told someone would be in touch. Yes Elizabeth from Coltech in Stoney Creek called and requested I take pictures on the back of my TV that would give her the model # of the TV and other info.

I did and sent it to her and she thanked me. A day or two later I received a call from her about a time that she could give me for the technician to come but she hardly gave me notice and I work so it would not work for me.

I asked her for an evening or week-end. She answered very rudely that they do not do evenings or week-ends and perhaps i should bring the TV down to Stoney Creek and they would take a look at it. I am near 80 years old and how Am I going to carry this by myself. I…

I have been trying a couple of times today for connecting to anyone of the geek squad, but the agent seems to be very rude. They were very slow in replying and mostly they go on sending the same auto-generated statements. They sometimes hung the call over me. Example Agent named Avishek and Saif disconnected the call. I am so upset with the service. This is not the way to treat the customers. I was a loyal customer of Best buy and now I feel I have done wrong.

Purpose of connecting to Geek Squad: I recently bought a Toshiba TV from Best Buy. Today I Purchased a 5-year protection plan for that TV, just want to change the 5year plan to 2 years, but nobody helped, geek squad customer service people were not welcoming.

I bought a service plan as I’m a disabled senior. I brought my computer in for a Windows upgrade. The upgrade was not performed. My computer hard drive was erased without permission. They disabled my virus software and added software I did not authorize. Never Again.

We purchased a whirlpool fridge that has not worked correctly since the day we bought it from Best Buy less the two years ago. We purchased the Geek Squad protection plan, and now the fridge needs to be replaced; we are being told to wait 14 days before a claim can be processed appropriately. This is unacceptable.

My 83-year-old father now has to navigate eating three meals a day without being able to store food properly. We called Best Buy and Geek Squad multiple times. We were constantly being transferred or hung up on by both companies and not getting any answers about replacing the fridge.

I am disgusted with both of these companies and plan on reporting how we have been hugely misled to every agency possible, including the Better Business Bureau.

The replacement phones are refurbished phones that don't work. I purchased the GeekSquad warranty service. I got a replacement phone that broke within the first month (the touch screen stopped working) and then they sent a replacement phone that wouldn't even charge.

I have got a ridiculous amount of runaround as they hold onto my deposit.

On Wednesday, 07-07-21, I called the Geek Squad to schedule an appointment for repairs on my Samsung Washing Machine that was still under warranty. I received a text message stating that the technician from A&E Service would be out on Friday, 07-09-21 between 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

The technician arrived, and he was an African American male with locks in his hair and a Caribbean accent. I told him that the wire popped off of the rubber piece around the opening of my washing machine and my clothes remained wet.

Stood in line at Best Buy geek squad for 39 minutes, completely ignored by staff. Although the staff was busy dealing with other customers, nobody even acknowledged me. I had to approach several people to ask what the protocol was.

Do I just wait until someone sees me? Manager said they were backed up and just stared at me. I went elsewhere. I had a warranty and paid for insurance which I will never do again.

I called to complain about the service of RR appliances. That I have been waiting for about a month to get my washing machine fixed after only having it for about 3yrs. They have sent RR appliances out 2 times for the same problem.

I was told 1 part needed to be ordered only to find out a month later it was about 4 parts and was on back order. Moving forward on the day of scheduled appointment the guy gets sick. Assured me Total Tech Support was available internationally. Two months later, when needing tech support for new laptop, they could not help AND said there weren't any locations in our country to help. That was it. Poor customer service:

Placed on hold by customer service for 47 minutes on Thursday, July 15, 2021 , then Ronald hung up on me. During my conversation with Ronald he asked me "why do you need your phone quickly?" How inappropriate for him to ask.

Bren stated "the phone has been looked at and we are waiting for Apple to mail a replacement."

I was trying to get help over the phone with ice off button on my refrigerator. I wanted to know how to get it where it would start making ice again. The person I talked to at geek squad was very very rude.

She had me unplug the refrigerator for 30 seconds and then replug it. I did it and it still didn't go off. She said we would have to have someone come out. I told her we have an extended warranty and she said she didn't know if it would cover this.

Upon offering me A free tune up for the numerous errors that were made before, Geek Squad broke the paint shop pro to where it can no longer be repaired or installed with a new disk. That i went out and paid for again, I have also tried downloading another photo shop off line that also will not download.

My Geek Squad agent did not show up for my appointment this morning. I have waited several weeks for this appointment, rescheduled my entire work day to stay home to do this. This particular agent , Andrew Sawyer, cancelled at the last minute twice before in the past and today he no-showed.

If he called in sick, it should have been somebody's responsibility to contact me. I received several emails and texts confirming my appointment today, July 16 2021 between 8:00-10:00am. I surpassed bad service, but this one surpassed them all. I brought my phone in for repair and got it back damaged really bad. It was so bad it was unresponsive. They wouldn’t even replace it. Had to purchase a new one.

After buying a cooktop at Best Buy with 5 year warranty the ceramic top broke. I called geek squad, gave model number and made an appointment. Technician arrived without a clue on what was going on and said could not help, but I was going to receive a call back with a new appointment. I never was called. I been calling every other day since and usually after 2 to 3 hours waiting, I press 1 to receive a call back. Never got a call back. I purchased 3 Samsung 20 phones in 2020; 2 Note Plus phones & 1 Plus. Along with those purchases, I purchased Geek Squad protection plans. I contacted the call center and was told I just need to take the phone in & I'd receive a replacement, an appt was scheduled , went to the store and

told I was misinformed by the call center, because they do not repair Samsung @ that location and would be $100 for a replacement phone . The Technician then contacted another store which allegedly is a Samsung repair location & scheduled an appt there. wtf!!??!??

They couldn't call well before the appt???? Soooo, I was redirected to yet another location 1/2 hour away. again, WTF?!?!?!? I had to step away from this. After more run around today, I have yet another appt in 2 days.

I have Geek Squad annual plan. In May, I asked for assistance with my Word program. Agent told me my Word service had expired and that I needed to update it. Instead, I bought a Word program for $110 from Amazon (non-refundable).

A few weeks later, I discovered that there was nothing wrong with my original Word program -- I am using it again. But I am out $110. I would like this amt. credited to my next Geek Squad plan which expires in September.

Geek squad has fantastic technical support I have never had an issue or bad experience with them. For that I would give them 5stars. That said, there Customer service and billing department are horrible, missing payments, taking extra ones; never a supervisor to speak of, and they hang up on you when they don't agree or can't answer a question.

It is truly disappointing in today's world that people do there jobs so poorly and continue to draw a paycheck.

Absolutely awful! They don't care anymore. I was on hold one day for 5 hours trying to fix what they ruined on my computer. Can't get a supervisor to call you back. My daughter-in-law purchased a laptop for me in January. After my son set it up, it was very slow. My son contacted Best Buy and suggested that I purchase the tech support via Geek Squad. I did and he worked with a Geek Squad agent for 2 hours to fix the problem.

I paid 200 hundred dollars for become a Geek Squad membership. Has been a nightmare with Geek Squad service and their technicians. Since Tuesday, Wednesday and today i have setting up primarily with foreigner customer services for scheduling with technicians which through remote control can help me to resolve a very simple issue I'm having with my printer + computer.

Tuesday everything was set for 11 0'clock PM ,Eastern time which is where I leave. I waited till 12 AM without anybody contacted me. After that, I went to bed. Yesterday, again, after chat with another foreigner again, he said he had sent a note to the next tech agent and, I had to wait 45 minute.

99 for my annual contract renewal and never even notified me. It wasn't until I saw the transaction in my account that I knew anything about it. On line chat agent told me she couldn't refund the full amount because a month had elapsed while I was unaware they had robbed me.

I purchased total protection plan and scheduled a service call for a 2 year old dishwasher that was leaking. They scheduled an appointment with A&E Factory Service, apparently they have several service companies they outsource for service. Window was between 12pm and 5 pm.

The technician never contacted me, I called twice, waited on the phone for over an hour between the two calls. The first time, dispatch told me the tech was running late, would be there at 5:30. Called again at 6 and the customer service rep tried to contact A&E's office, and it was closed.

I brought in my external hard drive to Best Buy/Geek Squad and was told it would need to be sent off for repair. I was encouraged to buy the service agreement and was told that I would not have additional charges if it was a level one repair. Weeks later I finally heard back and learned the cost of repair would be significant. At that point you’d had the drive for so long that I felt I had no choice but to have GS fix it, so I could access my files and documents again. I feel very much that this is if not a bait and switch, certainly very poor customer service. You end up forcing people to go with a repair through you or one ends up without files for over a month.

Coming out of my neighborhood, I was trying to make a left tun with my daughter (under 1 y/o) in the vehicle and a geek squad vehicle with the company number #29063 in Virginia completely cut me off and caused me to almost swerve into another vehicle. When I passed the gentleman as he was turning right, he gave me a middle finger, smiled, and then threw up a peace sign.

i called my best buy store on a possible warranty issue. this store is in Rosenberg Tx that asked for model number of TV and saw i had 5 year warranty. i asked if heavy scratches are covered and answered yes, and other damages to screen.

But had to send Geek to see if fixable first. person came today, and when i said about scratch, he says that is not covered at ALL. he then said the call center continues to do this problem. so why myself, the customer, has to be in middle of this.

train your crew to have a common approach. it should be about customer satisfaction, correct! my expectation was this was covered if not repairable. it wasn't the case, and upset!!!

I opened a chat for support 4/19/2019. I'd already had a tuneup a couple of weeks ago, but continue to have worsening problems. The initial agent transferred me to the next level. All I was offered was another tuneup. I repeated that there is something more serious going on, and that I have an audio file of the "honking" alert I've been getting, which I offered to upload. I use Webroot for my Internet Security with antivius. I have no complaint whatsoever with that product nor the people that back it up. I've never had a bad experience with geek squad until this happened. For context reasons my boyfriend recently bought a Samsung galaxy A70 from best buy and has a geek squad warranty. He is also in the Canadian navy which means he is sailing very often and in his position he is gone 6 months out of the year.

I spent several thousand at Best Buy in Bakersfield where I live last March on a top of the line ASUS Q547 laptop with the touchpad thats an additional screen, a new HP printer with HP Instant Ink plan, 2 Samsung S6 tablets & cases, associated Microsoft, Adobe DC Pro, Security software & the Geek Squad protection plan. 11 months later on 2 separate occasions, I turned my laptop on and the screen would not come on.

Twice in past week I've called with different problems. First was NO internet service and the young man told me to log onto website. Was he listening? NO INTERNET MEANS NO INTERNET! He told me to calm down. Considering the circumstances I was quite calm. We were "disconnected".

I bought two laptops, 1) Dell Inspiron i5-7200U and 2) Acer, in 2018 with 3 years warrent fro Geeksquad and membership which continued for more than 2 years without any services. After I discontinued the membership (within warranty period) last year the Dell laptop was dead.

I should be credit for the laptop according to the warranty.

We bought a stove and it broke. Geek Squad come to fix it and told me that they have to order a part. I wait for three weeks no call from the Greek squad or best but on the part, so we called to check on the part and they told us that they have no part, we were very upset on how unprofessional this was, so they told me that they will replace my stove and they will bring the stove on 3/26/2021, so I requested a vacation to be here. They called us a day before to confirm that we will be here and we advised him that yes, we will be here!.

I had a problem with my Outlook email being hacked. The agent worked for several hours to resolve the issue with my email, but did not resolve it. Not only did he not resolve it, he made it worse because he deleted my Outlook AT&T email account including my calendar and email address book. The email address book had many years of contacts which are totally unrecoverable. Also, he told me to call a Best Buy store and take my computer in to have them fix the issue onsite. I called the Best Buy store and they told me that their onsite agents did not support Microsoft Outlook issues onsite.

I have had very good results on a couple of issues…

On 23 Jun 2020, I called to cancel the renew geek squad plan and up to date Aug 09, 2020 I have not received any refund. I have called several times, and they keep telling me the bank is holding up the money.

I called my bank and made a conference call with Geek Squad Financial Representative and they confirmed with my bank that the refund was never received by the bank as Geek Squad affirmed. The last call that I made to Geek Squad to claim my money back, they indicated that on 19 of Jul they made the refund again because the first time they had problem a did not know what happened that the refund to me was no processed.

I do nor know why a big company take so long in make a refund. This irresponsible action. So in effect, Best Buy is keeping my money and I'm sure they aren't going to…
