We received Unsatisfactory service with Best buy off of university dr. Burlington. My son's PS4 broke. We purchased the two year warranty

We went to Best Buy after not being contacted and was faced with major attitude from Geek Squad Mgr Brad

We waited 7 days with no email from Best Buy Geek Squad and no one calling us. My expectation was replace the PS4 its under warranty!

We received much push back from BRAD the Geek Squad manager advising us that we were misinformed and that will take at least 3 to 4 weeks for us to get our product back. I want my money back for your total tech service. Your Geek Squad service has gone down the tubes and I will never use your service again. I chatted with two agents who disconnected me and did not try to help me with my issue.

Your company want to hire those third-world country people to help us with our issues and they don't know anything. I didn't pay over $200 to be treated like this and I will be letting people know not to purchase Geek Squad.

I was able to at least copy the second agents chat before he just disconnected me. The first agents name was Dipika and the second agents name was Sourav. I am sure it doesn't matter because if it did they would not treat a customer with such rudeness.

My computer was received via UPS on Monday 7/20/20. The same day it was received, I received an email stating that repairs were underway. It was stated that the battery was in stock. Later that evening, I received another email stating that my device was on its way back to me and repairs were completed.

I received my computer back via UPS on 7/22/20 and the battery was dead. I fully charged the battery and after turning the computer on and using it, in less than 1 hour, the battery was drained by 64% and 30 minutes later, the battery was dead.

They will not answer the phone. After a month AIG contacted me that Geek Squad would be replacing my tv. The gave a phone number to call with the case id # and work order # I have spent 90 minutes so far on hold.

Guess the best way not to honor the contract is not to answer the phone. Is there anywhere I can call to get help? So far, I am extremely frustrated and will tell everyone I know if I don't get some help soon.

I am wondering about the financial viability of Geek Squad. I am not interested in any more contracts although I have bought them for years.

COMPLAINS CASE #245590628 In December of 2016, I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro4 with accessories from Best Buy in Myrtle Beach, SC with a 2 year Geek Squad protection plan expiring on January 14, 2019. On November 30, 2018, I received a renewal notice by email for this plan.

99 on my visa card for this GEEK SQUAD RENEWAL. I was prompted to print out the paperwork that indicated an expiration date of 1/14/2022. My computer started to have problems in July 2020 and I called the Geek Squad for an appointment to have the computer evaluated.

I was told at that time by “Mike” that my warrantee expired on 1/14/2019. I told “Mike” that I had renewed the warrantee and gave him all the pertinent information I had printed out including the expiration date of 1/14/2022.

My Problems: One Drive is having sync issues with some apps. Reason: No access to permission. I have had past same issues fixed but of course, they come back. Last agent couldn't fix it. I also had a folder named, USB Folder" (this is on a 120 Gb memory stick).

I wanted it to be cpy/pst'd onto my One Drive. Folder made it to One Drive, but was removed from one of my local drives. I called back to get the USB Folder copied back onto a local drive. That was accomplished but put another drive on it too.

I purchased a Samsung TV from Best Buy in Las Vegas, Nv I bought it on Saturday May 23, 2020 Order number 1120144320339. The agent said I will have installed on Monday. They did no show up. On Monday,late, I put info a install on Tuesday.

Laptop sent in to repair department by myself after being told I couldn't stop it off at local store. Had a broken hinge but still worked. Took 3 weeks with no contact from repair dept finally after 2vdays tracked it down.

Informed me it was finished and would be sent out. Came 5 days later. Opened it would run but not video. Called local store was told needed to drop it off 8 days from call. Talked to manager told me to bring it in immediately he sent it out 10 days ago.

Because of Geek Squad willingness to allow criminals to use their corporate name to scam senior citizens I lost a lot of mone 6/24/2020 A few days ago I contacted The Geek Squad number (870-252-4060) on my computer to get an appointment so I could bring my computer into Best Buy Abilene.

The man who took the call asked questions about the problem and then told me he was referring the problem to their field crew who would send a technician to my home to repair the problems. The Geek squad initially came to set up our Arlo cameras which were purchased in January instLled in February and stopped working in March and still do not work. They came out about two weeks ago and said we needed a upgraded router to 5g.

Which we got thru spectrum. Gave Geek a call back and after a 3 hour and four minutes waiting on hold I got an appointment. Geek S came and said cameras needed to be charged and that he would be back the next day.

m. CST today, I called the Geek Squad Customer Service number and selected the option requesting technical support for a computer issue. There was a message stating that that there was a 15 minute wait time to reach an agent.

An option was provided to select a call back. I made that selection and entered my call back phone number. The recording said I would get a call back in 15 minutes. It is now 2:23 CST and I have received NO call back.

I have contacted the 800 number again and - yet again - have selected for a call back (this time being told there will be a 17 minute wait). I do not expect that I will receive a call back this time either.

Is this a regular practice of Best Buy to simply not call customers back?

On 6/20 I had called Geek Squad for service, at approx. 7PM. The first time I called I got a female team member who had such a bad accent that I could not understand her. The 2nd call was answered by a male, who was OK to understand; he addressed one of my problems and then referred me to another agent.

I was told that it would take along time, maybe three hours, but no one got back to me. I finally shot my computer down at midnight. Needless to say that I am "slightly" ticked off!

I am on my fourth attempt to get what I believe is a simple question answered.

First I tried Geek Squad Chat, the agent gave me information that did not solve the problem, then basically said sorry call this number if you want more information, then ended the chat before I could get the #. I then called the 888 Geek Squad number, the recording said wait time was 16minutes.

2 hours and 8 minutes later, I hung up. I then tried chat again and the agent gave me various links to web sites with user manual for TV or videos for setting up things. None of them were the answer I needed.

I contacted Geek Squad on Friday, March 13th at about 1:30PM Central time and ended up with a service tech named Sydney. I bought a new HP and now cannot transfer music from my Windows media player to my phone.

It worked fine with my old HP computer so I figured this would be a simple setting issue on the new computer. Sydney did not fix the problem and constantly interrupted me as i tried to answer his questions. In his follow up email he claimed that he fixed the problem however he did not.

I spent 5 hours with him and he intially blamed my windows media player but then claimed it was my phones problem and said that I would have to bring my phone and computer into the store. He would not even go over possible settings issues on my phone.

Worst services that I have received in my life!!!!! I took a day off from work to be able to watch the technicians install my tv and geek squad gave me a time frame today from 7am-1pm. That’s 6 hours of time frame and at 1:10pm nobody showed up or called.

When I called the customer services to find out what’s going on, no apology was offered and they said that the technicians will show up an hour late. I was furious and I asked some serious apologies and compensation but still the customer service won’t offer anything and was rude.

I bought a Samsung S10 plus from Best Buy in June on 2019. I was convinced by a team member when purchasing my phone to drop Asurion insurance who I already had and go with Geek Squad because its so much better and is hassle from. I've tried to contact someone at the BestBuy department that can please assist me. On December 16, 2019, I called Geek Squad to make a claim for my lost phone. I was told I had to pay my deductible which I did before the claim continued.

Every month I pay my warranty fees for the 4 phones I purchased at BestBuy. I received the replacement phone within a week and a half. The phone was defective I went to the local BestBuy store to have them fix it.

I have yet to find out the status of my laptop which has been in the possession of Geek Squad since January 2, 2020. They have sent me three separate emails wanting approval for the same part, a Dell motherboard.

It started out around $200 and now is up to over $500. I have never had this issue with Geed Squad before. Whenever I call the store to find out the status, they tell me the same thing. They do no know because it was shipped to Louisville.

I called to make a complaint about my installation services and called the 1800 number. The girl from another country answered the phone after a good almost 15 minutes. After talking to her I said I would like to talk to the supervisor, she closed the phone on me. She disconnected me, very rude! Shouldn't you be training these people before hiring them, do they know what customer services mean? That works in countries like India and the Philippines, but not in the United State of America. Shame on the cheap services. I'm frustrated with your Geek Squad installers as well as phone answering customer service people.

I called and cancelled my geek squad services. I have been run around in circles. He said I would get it in 12-14 business days. Then I spoke to Anne on December 9, 2019 and she gave me the confirmation # 236256631 and said I would be refunded in 6 -10 days.

Then I spoke with Joeseph and his manager Ryan and they said I would receive my refund soon and gave me the expedited confirmation # 236971794 and ID # F10959369. I still have not received my refund. This has been extremely irritating and I would just like my refund back without having to call every couple weeks for months just to get my money back.

on Dec 27 2019 I brought my computer tower in for a power button that had to be pressed multiple times before computer would boot. Sometimes as many presses as 20. But that was all i wanted them to do.

it is now January 6th 2020 I stil do not have my computer. There have been several problems all caused by them that hey are trying to fix they had to reinstall the windows 7 operating system twice already due to their screwups.

On Dec 27th I took my computer to the Roseville Michigan best buy geek squad to have my power button fixed and tha was the only problem i wanted fixed did not need a diagnostic test or any other test and repairs. So i went in on Sunday to pick it up they said it was ready. BOY I WAS MAD.

i brought my computer jn to the Roseville Michigan Best Buy Geek squad on12 27 2019 because my dell xps 87000 computer power button had to be pushed more than 10 some time 20 times before it would boot up. When it finally did everything worked properly.

nothing had to be done except perhaps a full dust cleaning which they did and ran diagnostic and cleared some viruses. I have always had good luck with geek squad in the past for repairs. sometimes when the run a diagnostic it sometimes will not connect with the Ethernet and they keep it there to fix it.

I had a protection plan for my iphone 8 plus which I cancelled on June before leaving Canada. But they charged after cancellation. I called costumer service and after long waiting time and long request processing time, the agent told the money will back to my account in few says.

On October 17, my husband called Geek Squard to report that our LG refrigerator was not working at all. My husband was given the date of October 21 is when a repair man would come to repair it. On October 21, the repairman showed up and inform my husband that the compressor needed to replace and so he replace it.

My husband called Geek Squard again to also let them know that the in food in refrigerator was spoiled and the representative inform him to fill out the reimbursement form and submit it. I took my phone in to Geek Squad to get the screen repaired. The technician said they wouldn't be able to replace the phone because it has a hole in the screen. He said I could file an insurance claim and pay $99 to get a new phone and that it would arrive in 10 days.

I paid the $99 that day and we are now on 19 days without a phone. I have been in contact with Geek Squad and talked with a manager on day 16 of no phone. She was very rude and was not helpful at all.

She acted like I was a bother to her and she had an attitude that I asked to speak with a manager. A representative from US Cellular and a representative from the insurance company did a 3 way call to the manager at Geek Squad on 10/21/19.

Dropped off my iphone for replacement. I was told it would be 3-4 days for my phone to come in. It’s the 4th day now and when I called I was told they have no ETA on when my new phone will come in and they were of no help.

The technicians who service the computers are mostly incompetent. It takes a long time to service equipment because the technicians are not qualified -- trial and error -- no skills. Again, they tried to repair my printer (remotely) and it took hours.

Of course, the printer is still not working properly and I have to take it to the shop to get it serviced. What is the problem? There are available qualified technician in the workplace, yet, Geek Squad ends up with unqualified employees. Very sad.

On 8/5 Geek Squad came to set up the Visio TV I purchased at Best Buy, NYC. Two guys came and couldn't make it work. They told me I had to purchase a new WiFi modem. I did that and the TV still doesn't work. 00.

I complained at the BB store and they told me there was nothing they could do. 00 and I want a full refund.!
