This review is base on the service both from the GM customer service and my local dealer Jim Browne Chevy. I bought a new 2019 corvette Z06 for a Christmas present for my husband. Shortly after getting the car he had a problem with the rear end.

The dealer has had the car since before Christmas and will not return phone calls nor will GM follow up with phone calls. All we have received is the run around that it will be done in a few days and then they need another part and another part.

At this time the dealer has had the car more than we have. I have saved a long time to buy this dream car for my husband and this is what we get? This is the support we have received from GM.

Is this a sign of the times where customer service is all but gone? Sad to say that this has left such a bad…

I have a 2019 GMC Sierra that I purchased in July for just under $50,000. I was involved in an accident that ended with me being rear ended in September. It is now a few days away from the new year and I still do not have my truck fixed due to the body shop not having the parts that are needed for repairs.

I am not happy at all with having to pay a good sum of money and driving a vehicle that is damaged. I have always owned GM vehicles yet, I feel as if this may be my last one. Waiting for parts for months to fix a brand new vehicle is ridiculous.

I work hard for my money and to have to pay such a high amount for driving a wrecked vehicle is unacceptable.

My 2019 Chevy Silverado custom trail boss has been at caliber collision in Orlando Florida since November 23,2019. The repair shop ordered both front and back passenger doors on 11/26/2019. It has been over a month and my doors have not been shipped.

I am currently without transportation so, i don’t have a ride to work or the babysitter. I have reached out to everyone from General Motors and no one has given me an estimated arrival date for my doors or accommodations for this inconvenience. Please Help!!

I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze with 48000 miles and the water pump is leaking. My warranty just expired in August and I called Chevy to see if they could do something and the senior account rep told me I was on my own for a 1000 repair.

She offered no assistance and sent me this dry email saying sorry not sorry. By far the worst customer service ever. I’m still paying a note on this tin can and they won’t even cover half the cost of a part that shouldn’t be leaking this soon to begin with.

They mass produced these cars and if you look on the internet everyone had issues with them. So disappointing. I have contacted the fair trade commission and will be reaching out to other individuals about the carelessness this company shows to consumers who are spending hard earned money and they bare…

Hi I owned Malibu LT 2016 around 47k miles. Since the warranty period expire this car showing issues everyother month. Last time on highway it strucked due to stabiliTrack error and whole car started sagging, engine light on and wheels out of control.

Called tow truck and find a dealership nearby. Anyways long story short my car was left finally at Reliable Chevrolet dealership Richardson TX 75081 for two weeks to replace the issue and today on my second trip to Houston I got the same issue again, I took the picture right away for evidence.

I have been waiting for an engine part at Lou Fusz in St. Peters Mo. since September 24, 2019. I would like an explanation for why General Motors is unable to manage parts distribution better than this. I know about the strike, but it has now been almost 7 weeks since the strike ended.

I have bought nothing but GM vehicles since 1994.

Specifically, I would like to know if the lack of parts for maintenance is because you are prioritizing shipment of the part I am waiting for to assembly plants so you can continue to sell new cars, rather than taking care of the customers that have already spent their money on your product. " But WHY are you unable to get these parts where they are needed?

I purchased my 2016 Buick Encore 6/18 Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet Kearny Mesa (San Diego). This was supposed to be a certified vehicle. Within 2 months of purchase my vehicle kept dying, went back to the dealership allegedly they replaced the battery.

I continue to have constant issues with my car not starting. Kept informing the service dept. Within the alleged battery warranty time frame I continue to have problems starting my vehicle. Each oil changed complained! Went in Sept of this year for an oil change complained!

Went in Oct sat for 4 hours was told by service rep my battery was fine! Nov my car continue to have starting issue, the screen goes out. Take my car to the service dept and was told they FIX the screen issues but the battery was no good and I had to replace it!

Recently had my truck in Riverview motors Grandfalls Windsor to get recalls done. I asked can they also fix the seal on the onstar where it’s leaking water they said it’s only a ten min job. Then when I picked up my truck I was told I had to make another appointment with the body shop.

I live 2 hours away and would have to take time off work! If only a ten min job why not just fix it?

We have 2011 GMC Acadia, we have extended warranty on this SUV. We are having so much issues with this vehicle. We had two dealership worked on this car.

First we took the car to West Point Buick GMC dealer ship in Katy, TX and they are working on it, they did a bad job, we didn't have that much issues begin with but after they start working on it, it keeps breaking. The customer service West Point GMC IS REALLY SUCKS.

NO respect for customers and sales reps are very rude. Then we took the car to Classic Chevy dealership,at least customer service is better but we brought the car back home and broke the next day. Never going to buy GMC ever again.

Tired of repairing the vehicle. If i didn't have the extended warranty will be out of so much cash.

On November 20th, I went to Darrell Waltrip GMC in (Nashville, TN) to have my car serviced. The outside mirrors needed to be replaced due to damage to the motorized gears. 83. I then inquired about the prices and I went to the GM parts center website to find the exact parts that were used.

I found these parts at a significantly cheaper price than what I had been charged. When I asked to speak with the service manager, he would not come out to speak with me. 00 and said that , it was the best that he could do.

I want to file a complaint against General Motors And their headlights on the 2013 Buick Regal GS the HID headlight package they leak which blow out the HID Ballast 5DV 009 610-00, Xenon Headlight Control Unit You constantly have to replace this or buy new headlights which cost $1100 each you must have some sort of recourse or a recall on this . My complaint centers around my 2015 GMC Yukon Denali XL. While we love the design, performance and features; this automobile is a mechanical nightmare. New torque converter, body parts coming loose and the drivers side tail light which the dealer wants $802 to replace.

Three more payments and I’m selling this money pit and switching to Ford.

I had a power train problem. Corwin Motors did work costing me $446. The problem was not fixed. Went to Power GM. They found the problem. It was a major engine repair covered under warranty. GM will not reimburse me for the work done at Corwin Motors.

That work should be included in the power train warranty work done at Power.

My complaint is that I bought a new car August in Tucson, AZ. I was told that one of the perks was for 3 years and 3 times a year they would give us a loaner to use for three days. We submit our request back in October so that we could have it the week of Thanksgiving which is plenty of time to confirm our request. The department that was suppose handle this gave us bad customer service by not getting back to us in a timely manner. This is not the only time that we have experience bad customer service. The only one that really helped us was the sale guy Daniel Camacho. Hope you solve this issue now and in the future, so this doesn't happen again. Thank you.

Why will you not sell me the 2020 corvette? I was one of the five first preorders at my local dealer,.. they obviously didn’t deliver. I reached out to another local dealer... they obviously had the same response... Who/what entity do I need to speak with about buying this car...

never in a million years would I think someone would avoid receiving money. In this instance, it is evident. Tell me my options (if they are a fact limiting reagent) and get me on the list for these cars!!!! Why am I begging?!?

In the past 15 years we've had a 2002 Camaro, two 2003 Monte Carlo SS, 2009 Impala and 2005 Silverado z71. Most were bought from my former employer Betten Baker Chevy in Muskegon, mi and every one was a mechanical nightmare.

it was priced Very high due to low mileage but when we had the dash cluster replaced we found it had been replaced with a low mileage dash and the mileage stays with the dash cluster. Unbelievable engineering, it screams for dealers to hose unknowing customers. Unbelievable

We have a 2019 Colorado that has been in the shop since October 28th 2019 waiting on parts. Due to the strike they can not give us estimated time line to when our truck will be done. It is getting pretty frustrating and sad, we have always owned GM vehicles for over20 yrs and are really considering going with a different manufacter.

This is the 3rd time this vehicle has been in the shop and we have not had it a year

Back on 10/08/19 my wife and I came into your dealership to look at a 2017 Cruze that I found on the Schools First FCU TrueCar website. We were first troubled by the extra charges that were added to the advertised price, we almost walked out twice during negotiations Then we were turned over to finance who told us he could get us financed thru Schools first only to find out two days later this wasn't true, so we paid cash for the car. GMC car dealers have been struggling to get replacement parts to fix vehicles even though the strike is over. This has forced me and other customers to wait weeks for service. I gave my GMC Terrain to the dealership in Wilmington Delaware on October 7, 2019. My car is still there waiting for an engine part. Today's date is November 13, 2019. This is a costly and aggravating situation for my wife and I sharing one car or renting vehicles while still making payments on the Terrain. This is not right!!!!

I purchased a new truck 9-25. Had a problem and needed a part. I have never taken possession of truck it is still sitting on the dealer lot. Seems there is no part. No one at GM will take responsibility and get this problem fixed. Las i received from GM was that dealer would let me know when there is a remedy. Won't tell me when that will be even though it has already been 8 weeks. All I want is for this to be taken care of. Buy the broke one back and sale me another just like the broke one for the same deal. Dealer says General Motors has to do this but General Motors is not responding to the dealer. I made an appointment at Whitesides in St. Clairsville Oh for a safety recall on our 2015 GMC Sierra. I made the appointment on November 4th or 5th and they set me up for 130 on November 11, 2019. I asked the receptionist if I could just drop the truck off a little earlier because I wanted to go shopping.

She said that was fine. I took the truck over at 1130 in the morning. Went into the garage to tell them I was dropping the truck off and that I had a appointment at 130. Service rep told me to put my cell number on the paper and they would call when done.

I was told the process shouldn't take more than a hour. I never heard a word from anyone. I tried to call the service department around 330 to no avail. I was put on hold and 3 different people answered and asked if they could help me.…

I have a 2006 GMC canyon, runs fine but sometimes starts hard , has a p0017 code and is a hard code( clear it and comes right back) have had cam sensor, and sensor beside it with the screens in it replaced and the crank sensor replaced. took it to Varneys GMC in bangor , maine they say that it needs a new timing chain and all these sensors changed again , for the amount of $1800 it has under 74000 miles.

I have searched all over the internet and many of theses people are having same problems. as said before it runs great except for engine code poo17, seams to me you have a defect with something here and should be taken care of.

I do not have an unlimted amount of money to throw at this!!! love the truck except for this problem. I do not see how if the timing has jumped as Varneys GMC…

I have a 2017 Malibu, brought it brand new But I’ve been trying to get repairs done on this vehicle since 2018. The sensor lights are always needing to be replaced. For a car this new I shouldn’t be having this problem and I’ve been a loyal GM customer since 1999.

Bought a new car less then three years ago it’s been in three times will be four soon in less then a year for engine/transmission issues. It has under 35,000 miles it’s a lemon. This was suppost to be the reliable vehicle and it’s not they can’t seem to fix it for long before there are more issues and once the warranty is up it will be me having to pay for it.

I don’t drive far and take care of it there should be no issues. You let me buy a lemon I will do whatever I have to to get this fixed. I had my car in the dealership to have a fuel pump replaced that was bad. the Service was horrific.. They left very little fuel in my car, they didnt do a full inspection and do to that i have fill up my own tires with air. the People were extremely pushy and very unfriendly.. I will never purchase another vehicle from that dealership again. The car is only 2 years old and should not have the issues that it does..

I am very upset with the service and the quality that i received there.. it is unacceptable! No person should have issues with a brand new car!

My wife Amanda Barclay and I bought our 2018 Cadillac ATS Luxury (vin# 1G6AB5RX6J0157547) from Jones Chevrolet Cadillac at 1230 Broad Street, Sumter, SC 29150 on the 16th of May 2018. We then took the vehicle into the Jones Cadillac service department in 16 April 2019 for issues with the Cadillac Cue technology system continually trying to load and eventually locking up the system and the main screen going black. Since then the vehicle has been in the Jones Cadillac service department 5 times ranging from a few days to a few weeks while they have continued to replace part by part or load new software to the vehicle, even going as far as to waiting over a month for a GM FSE (JIM) specialist that they called in from the Northeast region, each time claiming we hope that'll fix it.

Text messaging I don't know why GM would take out text messages from 2020 GMC Serra radio I think hooking up a wire to the phone is not only a hassle also dangerous I read some place that there is a update that would allow text to through. I have been buying GM cars for over 35 years and it is things like this that might make this the last GM car I buy.

There are other problems with the radio that I have call the dealer about and they say that I have to bring the truck in during the week so they can pair my phone just to find out what I been telling them what not been working. net

GMC customer service help will waste your time and dance in circles with your case. They do not care about you. They only care about disputing a case to no cost to the company.

Shelton Buick GMC changed out a transmission in my truck that cost me almost $6000. I could have taken my truck to a non certified mechanic for under half the cost, but wanted to feel safe by having GMC certified techs work on my truck.

I live in Rochester Hills, MI so Shelton is(was) my hometown dealership. My transmission went out again on me not even 3 months after the repair while I was in Indiana doing a job for my company 3+ hours from home.

I can't even begin to tell you the nightmare that began from that night, still going on to present day because now I have to sue GMC in order to get this greedy…

I live in Western New York State . I own two Chevy Bolt EVs. Why does GM , Chevy particularly hate the Bolt. There are thousands of GM employees in this part if the state , many Chevy dealers but non of them sell the Bolt.

None of the dealers have fast chargers. There are zero ads promoting the Bolt. And it’s not a matter of being new to the EV world , Chevy has sold well over 200,000 electric vehicles in the USA alone. The Chevy Bolt is a fantastic car but it’s being treated like the red headed step child in a black sheep family. I don’t get it.

I was happy with my Chevy-Cruze, until last time I visited the dealership for fixing a chirping sound which was coming from engine. I was being told it is because of Mainfold, seal and cam cover something, anyways I paid $1247 to get it fixed as suggested by the service personal.

In Jan, 2019, I bought a new Buick Encore Sport Touring car. It is a 2018 model. At 507 miles, it lurched forward on a highway and when I got home it screeched into my garage which filled with smoke.

I had it towed to VERA Buick and they gave it back to me. A few days later, at 546 miles the same thing happened on a highway and I made it to VERA again. They returned it to me and at 1955 miles the same thing happened on a highway.

VERA kept the car eleven days and said it was fine. OnStar notified me each time this happened and told me to go to a dealer for service. After reaching out to the dealer, ED MORSE SAWGRASS, and to GM CUSTOMER RELATIONS, I was turned down for a replacement car without making a $ 5,800 additional payment.

I was called a bout a recall on my 2017 Silverado. An appointment was set up for 7:00 am Wednesday 10/09/19. I was told it would take an hour ! At 8:30 ask how the work was going? I was told "work would be done in a few minutes.

I own a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado which I have had zero problems with. It has 101,000 miles on it. The battery went dead and I purchased a battery at a parts store and proceeded to try and replace it myself.

(I've never owned a vehicle that I couldn't change the battery) obviously it is much more of a challenge these days with the newer vehicles. I took pictures to make sure that I got all the posts and brackets replaced just as they were.

The truck started but I did not have any dash instruments working. ) I thought that it must have something to do with the computer and that it would have to be reset. So I took it into the service department at Mike Baileys Chevrolet for what I thought would be a minor issue.

Ask the dealer to try and elevate the problem . He did and his rep said she could help. Other dealers have the parts and won’t sell them to my dealer. Something has to happen here. I offered to pay the shipping for parts still no help.

I have owned GM products for 30 years. Not after this one I won’t.

I got a recall letter on my 2011 GMC terrain about oil consumption when I called to see if it was covered I got well you're below on the miles but over on the time limit. I payed 5600 down on it lost the drive train in the first week. They fixed it.

I got 6 engine codes all related to the recall. I will not buy another car from a dealership I feel I was blind sided with a problem when the history says problems from 34000 miles and 3 dealerships later I'll buy Junkers from now on atleast I know where I stand without paying 18000 for a peace of shit no more GM cars.
