In Jan, 2019, I bought a new Buick Encore Sport Touring car. It is a 2018 model. At 507 miles, it lurched forward on a highway and when I got home it screeched into my garage which filled with smoke.

I had it towed to VERA Buick and they gave it back to me. A few days later, at 546 miles the same thing happened on a highway and I made it to VERA again. They returned it to me and at 1955 miles the same thing happened on a highway.

VERA kept the car eleven days and said it was fine. OnStar notified me each time this happened and told me to go to a dealer for service. After reaching out to the dealer, ED MORSE SAWGRASS, and to GM CUSTOMER RELATIONS, I was turned down for a replacement car without making a $ 5,800 additional payment.

All I want is the car that I purchased and I do not feel…

I have a 2012 Chevy traverse that i have purchased from drive time auto llc in Waukegan Illinois and the service stabiltrak light has came on even after i replaced the throttle body on it to resolve this issue, it had went off for 3 months and now my check engine light is back on and lowered my engine power, i have missed days of work previous due to this issue, I’m at work now but was on time and now late due to the fact that this issue is happening again.

I was called a bout a recall on my 2017 Silverado. An appointment was set up for 7:00 am Wednesday 10/09/19. I was told it would take an hour ! At 8:30 ask how the work was going? I was told "work would be done in a few minutes.

At 9:30 I ask again The work was not done and not even started. with out the recall being done. This was done at Kings Chevrolet in Longmont Colorado. Last time I will ever go back,

I own a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado which I have had zero problems with. It has 101,000 miles on it. The battery went dead and I purchased a battery at a parts store and proceeded to try and replace it myself.

(I've never owned a vehicle that I couldn't change the battery) obviously it is much more of a challenge these days with the newer vehicles. I took pictures to make sure that I got all the posts and brackets replaced just as they were.

The truck started but I did not have any dash instruments working. ) I thought that it must have something to do with the computer and that it would have to be reset. So I took it into the service department at Mike Baileys Chevrolet for what I thought would be a minor issue.

I told them the events of changing the battery and then this all happened.…

I have a 2017 3600 HD diesel that has been at the shop for 4 weeks waiting on parts. When I spoke with them today they said the parts were on back order. I have a farm and need to move cattle and can’t.

Ask the dealer to try and elevate the problem . He did and his rep said she could help. Other dealers have the parts and won’t sell them to my dealer. Something has to happen here. I offered to pay the shipping for parts still no help.

I have owned GM products for 30 years. Not after this one I won’t.

I got a recall letter on my 2011 GMC terrain about oil consumption when I called to see if it was covered I got well you're below on the miles but over on the time limit. I payed 5600 down on it lost the drive train in the first week. They fixed it.

I got 6 engine codes all related to the recall. I will not buy another car from a dealership I feel I was blind sided with a problem when the history says problems from 34000 miles and 3 dealerships later I'll buy Junkers from now on atleast I know where I stand without paying 18000 for a peace of shit no more GM cars.

Along with many Chevy Malibu owners, my issues is wth the passenger side headlight. I've had the local dealership to socall repair the issue but 3 times since then I've had the same problem. Dear GM,

I'm extremely unhappy with a problem I've experienced with my 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. I'm told you are aware of the issue of the rims cracking due to the stiffness/rigidity of the run flat tires. I currently cannot drive my car safely because both my rear rims are cracked in several places. I baby my car and take extremely good care of it. Now, it's un-driveable and my tires are completely flat tire which is ruining my expensive tires as well. I went to a very reputable high-end wheel shop and the owner told me he's seen multiple C7's come in for the same problem and that he won't warranty his repairs if run flats are put back on. He said they are prone to crack in the same or more places due to the tires. I heard there's a lawsuit against GM but you haven't recalled…

I first started complaining about my paint on my car fading and having mosaic pattern noticeable in the sunlight on the car. I purchased this car I purchased as a certified pre-owned car with the extended warranty and was in excellent shape.

I was well within my warranty and inclusive of my extended warranty at the time i made the initial complaint. The service department put me off and refused to file a complaint stating I needed to have a service adviser escalate my complaint to a GM corporate manager.

I was told many times by the service department that until a service rep came down for corp, I would have nothing done, or until i was assigned a rep to have my car looked at, nothing will be done for this complaint. I waited for months and months to no avail no movement on this…

On October 1, 2019 I had a service appointment at Spitzers in Amherst OH for my 2016 Chevy Equinox. The windshield wipers were not functioning.

I informed them that the wiper motor was still functioning, and that a bushing in the wiper transmission was likely the culprit. I requested they service the vehicle by replacing the bushing.

On the phone the previous day the technician who scheduled me gave me a ballpark figure of $150 to have the bushing ( an item less than $10) replaced.

Seventy five minutes into the appointment , a technician came into the lobby and l told me they tested the fuses and motor but that the whole wiper transmission had to be replaced for a cost of $433.

I did not ask them to test the fuses or the motor, nor did I ask for a complete diagnosis of my vehicle. I…

This complaint is in regards to your 2009, 2010 and 2011 Chevy Aveo. All these year models have had issues with the coolant hoses going bad and blowing the motors and replacing the motors with a newer engine didnt wor and cost a pretty penny.

These cars are death traps and seen several complaints on this make and model on The Center of Auto Safety website. I can't believe you didn't recall this vehicle! The Aveo shouldn't be on the road

My Yukon Denali has now been at Chevrolet of Huntington for 2 MONTHS!!! The service department does not answer their phone. One rep at the desk gave us his cell number but only responds periodically. I have called to speak to a manager several times and have NEVER received a call back.

I spoke to the customer service department at the 1-800 number and they escalated my case to urgent and the supervisor called the wrong number twice after MULTIPLE calls for them the call my husband's number. When she (Victoria) did leave a msg on the WRONG number she did not leave any valuable information or a contact number!

I am furious and frustrated. If your motto is, "Earn customers for life" you should train your employees better. I will NEVER, EVER purchase another GM vehicle and will deter ANYONE…

I owned three impalas. I think it is a great big mistake the GM is no longer making the impala. As of this date your choice is in GM is either a SUV or a pick up truck and the only car that you have is the Malibu which is a fine car but

there’s no way there and impala owner is going to go into a Malibu I really just doesn’t make sense from a business standpoint so from this point forward I guess I will never be a Chevy again. I have spoken to other people and I haven’t met one person to think that this decision makes any sense.

I think that the new Chevy impala I have has been one of the finest cars that I’ve ever owned. Makes no sense that you offer the public three or four different types of SUVs And only one choice for a regular passenger car which is an even a full size passenger…

I owe a 2014 Cadillac ATS4 and have 62,000 km on it. Last year, at about the same time, I observed a very small inside crack on the right of the GPS screen. The small crack did not obstruct my vision. On Sep 22nd 2019, i observed a 1 1/2 inch inside crack on the left of the GPS screen which actually is in my view and obstruct my vision of the information provided by the screen. I took my car to Myers Ottawa, Baseline Rd, Ottawa and was quoted $950.00 to replace the GPS screen.

Prior to purchasing the Cadillac, I owed a Chevrolet Avalanche, another GM product, with which I was completely satisfied. During the period of the 4 year warranty on the Cadillac, several parts had to be replaced by Myers to my full satisfaction.

The inside cracks on the GPS screen started to show up soon after…

To Whom it may concern: I have a 2013 Caddilac ATS. I brought it into Caddliac Service Dealer In EDMorse Caddilac Brandon Florida about 3 1/2 weeks ago for a check engine light. The P2097 error message appeared (Post Catalyst error Rich Bank 1/3 as the error code) the dealer explained to me it was my fuel injectors 1 and 3.

Even though I didnt have any hesitation in the car acceleration, I didnt think it was that. I took their word for it. 00 dollars for the service. Drove out the car from the dealer a ran into an issue that the check engine came on again and my trunk was in disarray, the technician never put the carpet back in place.

My wife had the opportunity to finally purchase her "dream" car and that was a red Cadillac ATS in 2014. This opportunity was a bitter sweet event for her due to the fact that she had lost her brother prior to buying this vehicle.

Case number 9-5450248374 2016 Chevy Impala under power train warranty broke down in KY 500 miles from home while on vacation do to a bad transmission. I am being told by customer service Jessica that the towing and car rental will not be reimbursed.

In my owners manual page 346 it states under Trip Interruption that these cost are reimbursable. I provided receipts for prove to customer service. My husband and I have been loyal GM customers for 30 years. We have purchased 14 new GM vehicles and GM needs to make this right.

I have purchased a 2018 express 2500 cargo van ... J1904146 I need RV plug for trailers,, this van has trailer tow mode switch , it also has the controller wiring under dash on driver side.. well and good but at rear where I expected to find the rest of the wiring is a plug that has 13 very small pins...

it is rectangular ,, I am unable to find any info on this , my dealer could not as well , also this does not seem to be proper gauge wire or colors for trailer let alone trailer brakes .. very little in manual on wiring trailer..

I worked to get an authorization # for the purchase of a new Blazer in June. We did not get the # until July so they denied my request saying I was too late. I received it twice before through my deceased brother William Elling.

As hard as we tried, we had no assistance from any dept. M. and even was accused of getting it falsely. I have copies of e- mails, text messages and phone logs to prove we started the legacy rewards process before we purchased the car June 28, but could get no help from your company.

My complaint involves not only customer service but issue at hand. GMC customer service is rude and not willing to speak with the customer regarding issues. It is a known defect with my automobile regarding the rims peeling. If GMC has a internet forum where customers have complained and also indicated the warranty covered the replacement, I am unsure why Carla with GMC is rude and not willing to listen to reason. Please see below which was copied from the Arcadia Forum. This is obviously a design defect and should not happen to a $50,000 car. I have never had this issue with any prior vehicles granted they were Toyota.

Problems with extremely slow part ordering and tracking information. Vehicle in shop waiting as of today 14 days on a part #84277125 has to deal with DEF/DPF pipe. Have complained a number of times with Dealer and to Customer Care ( what a Joke CC is).

The Dealer is trying to get the part but no body will give them an answer to when it will even be shipped. This is how GM runs their business I will start buying from another auto maker. I have expressed the urgent need for this truck due to the fact that it pulls my RV to work sites around the country.

I was supposed to hire on this new job on the 12th of September. I called my NEW BOSS and explained the situation and I now have a few days, and today is no different than 2 weeks ago NO BODY KNOWS ANYTHING.

I've made repeated attempts to schedule a recall repair to my daughter's 2003 Pontiac. Danger of engine fire is the reason for the recall. I received a recall card in the mail explaining this. Its from Motor Inn in Carroll,IA. After at least 5 attempts, I have had no luck and very rude customer service. This does not shine a good light on GM in my opinion and may very well adversely affect my buying decisions in the future as they are the only GM dealer in my town of Carroll, IA. On 8/30/19 O took my truck to have a lil change and tire rotation. When they finish my truck it was pulling to the left. I called back. And told salesperson what was going and took it right back. They back said they couldn't.

Fine any thing wrong checked tires,air everything fine. so they weren't to do anything until I said I was going to contact corporate then they found out it was a bad tire but they refuse to place the tire even though I was going out of town for the holiday i felt they didn't care about my safety of well being.

I made an appointment at Allen Gwynn in Glendale California, a week prior to take my Camero in due to an issue with the key getting stuck in the ignition. My appointment was on September 4th at 8:00am. I was told by Patrick Moradian that they needed 6 hours to analyze the problem and that I would get a call.

After 8 hours, I called to check the status because no one called me, and I was told they had not gotten to even look at the car but I would get a call tomorrow. After several calls over 3 days, I went to pick up my car and was told by Mike Leffler who is the Service Drive Manager, that my car had not been looked at because they were "too busy".

My wife asked what the purpose of making an appointment was for and Mike replied, "it is just to drop off your car". I asked for a loaner…

My check engine light came on my car in February. As a result, I took my car to Carl Black Chevrolet. They ran diagnostics and stated that my fuel rails and the catalytic converter were bad. I have no idea what repairs were needed but I trusted the mechanics at Carl Black.

The fuel rails and the catalytic converter were replaced and less than a 10 mile drive after leaving the dealership... the issue came back! I was upset, but confident that Carl Black Chevrolet would be able to resolve the issue.

This happened about 5 or 6 times.... As a result, the dealership consulted GM specialist and the specialist recommended that they start from the beginning twice! So after several escalations to General motors... many lost subscriptions (XM radio, onstar, Mister Car Wash, uber rides, long wait…

I am having a problem with my 2015 chevy spark jerking and not getting to speed. I brought it to the local dealership and they said that there was a software update that was done that does not allow the vehicle to go in long-range.

I am still under my powertrain. I previously took it to another mechanic who said that it was the transmission and to bring it to chevy so they could fix it. But your service dept is saying that is just the way it is going to drive and it does not feel safe the way it is acting.

Stop the nanny state crap. I have to regularly look down from the highway to press the screen delete which is telling me to keep my eyes on the road. Hope the government mandated this travesty, as I thought GM executives had better sense.

Iam all for safety, but this going way too far. By the way, when I have to let my car overrule my commands, I will be going back 25-40 years, buy a car which lets you drive. I own two late model GM products and have owned GM cars/trucks since 1961. I own several computers.

The clear coat on my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado is peeling off in 3 separate spots on the hood. , New Jersey. My truck is still under warranty. When I took truck in, I was informed that it was not covered because there were chips where clear coat was coming off.

I told the service person that all vehicles on the highway have small chips but the clear coat is not supposed to peel off. I have purchased 9 new vehicles at Bennett Chevrolet over the past 30 years and always had excellent service.

Any advice regarding this situation is appreciated.

I’m writing to ask for your assistance regarding my wife’s 2011 Equinox.

In summary: we were having lots of issues with it early on: stalling out randomly, clunky timing chain, cam actuator etc. There were a bunch of recalls, the most recent on being the oil consumption back in 2015 I believe. It was burning oil at an alarming rate, so we had Murray do the piston and ring swap out and we were assured us the problem was fixed. Just a month ago, I was checking the oil not long after it was changed; maybe 1,000 km or so later, and the dipstick was bone dry. I thought maybe I got ripped off at Mr.Lube (we usually do all our oil changes at Murray but we were out of town and it was due) so I bought a 5L jug of premium synthetic oil from Costco to top it up. I bought the truck and never put a cd in the player . I had some give me two brand new cds to listen to and the player doesn’t work . The truck only has 40127 on it and I took it to the dealership just after the 36000 mark and they said I would have to buy a new player.

Since purchasing my 2015 Cadillac last year I felt like the lighting was poor. I am a senior citizen and thought it was my eyesight. When my son was visiting this weekend and drove my car he told me my headlights are not functioning properly.

When investigating we noticed condensation on the passenger headlight. We brought the car to the dealer who informed us this was a problem with this vehicle and to notify GM. I did so and was told that a letter was sent regarding the issue.

I NEVER received any letter. If I had I certainly would have acted on it since I was having a hard time seeing at night. I was told by the GM customer service dept that the window of opportunity to fix this ended on June 22,2019 and a letter was sent to me in March.

My 2018 Chevy Trax has been sitting at Yemm Chevrolet since July 5th after a recall letter I received for the control arm . I was given a loaner car to drive until the part arrived . Every time I call I am given a bunch of bull about why the part isn't here and that my Trax is too dangerous to drive.

I bought a 2014 Buick Verano didn't even have 40,000 miles bought in late August 2017 the AC compressor stopped working a few months later the side detection system stopped working. 00 which I simply could not afford to pay.

Contacted corporate office because I felt like the car had defective parts didn't make any sense that all this would happen to a fairly new car with low mileage. They pretty much laughed in my face. so I will NEVER purchase a Buick EVER again.

Have continued to have problems with but I am going to try and get something else soon. Never buy Buick cars.

I have a 2017 Cruze that I lease yes it has high mileage which I am probably going to have to purchase me and my husband have purchased a lot of Chevy cars over the years and my husband is a retired GM worker I have contacted an attorney bc this is the worst car ever and I don’t understand how you can do a former employee of like this when you give an upper class employee a new car every year all I want is another car and

On July 9, 2018 I purchased a used Chevy Traverse. Everything was going fine until the timing chain stretched On March 28, 2019. I took it to AAA to have it looked at, they said the could not do anything that I need to take it to a dealer. While at AAA I asked them to service the AC because I drive for Uber and Lyft during spring and summer so I wanted to get it out of the way. They recharged the AC, tested it and the AC was great, no problems. I have documentation of the transaction.

I then took it to Chevrolet Autonation in Laurel, MD to have the timing chain repaired. It was March 29, 2019. It took a week but they repaired it. It was an expensive repair but It had to be repaired $2861. I took the car home and noticed my AC was not working well. So on April 15, 2019 I took it back…

i have been a loyal chevy customer since the 1990's. i have purchased 2-3 cars and 7 or so pick ups and suburbans. the late 1990's and the early 2000's were good products. my 2005 pickup went 250000 miles and i loved that truck.

but every truck i bought since have had lots of problems. you compensated me a little when i bitched enough about my out of pocket expense($12000-15000) on my 2009 hunk of shit truck, so i bought another one. 2012 i think..

still had my issues with the dealer not fixing things properly many times in and out of the shop(ryan chevy Buffalo, MN) I will never buy or service my vehicle at that shop ever, bad, poor, or just don't care. hard to say very dissatisfied with them.

Looked at the suggested site. Saw it prior he purchasing my Colorado WT. 5-liter four-cylinder engine and two-wheel drive. Since taking delivery I have had what I call a problem with my 6 speed. Harsh vibration in third gear. I have been told that it is normal by a service manager who admitted that he had not driven one.
