If I could I would leave a 0 star review, but I have to work with what I got I guess. Great Clips is horrible. I asked for a trim on the ears and neck because my hair was about 6 or 7 inches long and now my hair is uneven, rough they cut it on the top AND front without my permission.

I will never go there again, I am better off cutting on my own hair.

I stopped in for quick haircut no appt. When I got there a stylist was walking out a few customers waiting only 1 stylist on floor. I was hesitant in letting this stylist named Rebecca cut my hair. The last time I let her cut my hair she messed up and I had to return for her to fix it.

I thought I would give her another chance.

First of all she reaked of cigarette smoke and didn't even bother washing her hands before starting. This stylist is horrible and I will never let her cut my hair again! Where she learned to cut hair I dint know!

Am I allowed to go to a totally different location and get a redo. Please let me know. By the way I just moved to Phoenix from Albuquerque NM and never had this problem there. Thank you.

I have been going to Great Clips in Leland for years and have always had a good experience up until this last time I went. ". Well for one thing this is none of my husband's business if I want my hair shorter or not, it is mine.

She then didn't cut my hair the length I wanted it. The cosmetologist's usually show me my hair style in a mirror to see how I like it, and this cosmetologist didn't even do that, she just whipped off my cape and that was it.

I went to great clips to get a haircut. I specifically asked for a certain amount and specified that rather less than more. the hairstylist completely ignored my request and cut off more than double the amount I wanted. I am in high school and wear my hair in a pony.

I kept repeating to the hairstylist that too much was being cut but the hairstylist ignored me completely. I am very upset and I definitely will never go there and let others know about this experience. The reason I am most put off is because this exact story happened about a year ago, I thought it was a once a time incident but apparently not.

Does anyone teach these hairstylists that the customer comes first?

I went into Great Clips 30 minutes before they closed. Is it standard procedure to not take anyone else after this time?? She told me I would have to come back. If that is the case then you need to change time on website so customers don't make a wasted trip driving over.

Great Clips in Anthem Arizona has to be the WORST! If you go in to have your hair washed and styled you wait 35 minutes only to be told by the stylist that checks you in tell you that she doesn't know how to style or curl hair.

and just let the customer walk out of the salon? Really? Just the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ZERO EXPERIENCE.

App shows for Grand ledge location hours of operation 10 am til 7pm on Wednesday. I drove all the way there to find out they are closed on Wednesdays. Either fix the app to show correct hours of operation, or be open when app states the location is open. not to be open! Ridiculous!!!!!!!

My husband did a check-in online yesterday for the parkesburg store. At 316pm he received a text message stating that he had about 15-20 min until his appointment was up. We live about 15 minutes away. He arrived at 340pm.

When he got to the door it was locked. The woman at the counter looked at him, got wide eyed as if she was caught doing something she shouldn't have been doing and basically hid, turning her back to him This is ridiculous.

My husband works full-time and when he's not working we care for my sister who has cancer also a full-time job. He took time out and scheduled the haircut around a busy day and then was just ignored. He went to a new job site today without his hair cut.

I came into shop without signing in online. Iwaited there were two hairstylists on duty. They signed me in after they got done cutting hairwhich some people already were using the computer leaving me at the end the line one hairdresser asked me to go with her i said i was waiting for michelle.

Had Mia today at Salon 6100 in San Angelo. She would not cut hair short as I wanted. Would not trim around the ears. Would not blow cut hair out . Left hair wet and uncombed. I had to blow it out.

The hairdresser cut half my girlfriends hair because she said she wanted a trim.He started cutting her hair short and she said I only wanted a trim.So he said I'm done,and quit with half her head cut at the Fort Meyer's store.They have a very rude manager too. I don't recommend them .We will never go back.

One star is too many!! I went online and made an appointment the Stevensville Mi. Great Clips. It had a 40 minute wait time so I scheduled it When I left the house it showed 36 minutes. I drove the approximately 7 miles to the Meijer store there and when I checked it I was told it would be over and hour!! What kind of crap is this. How can a business run this bad and stay in business. So what, I would like to know what you are going to do about it? I have been a customer there since it opened. It sure is looking like this was my last trip to Great Clips. Now I know what the CLIPS stands for!!

Normally I Get great service, this time there was a new girl there and it was not going well at all. I asked for the head stylist to finish my hair cut that had cut my hair many times and was told that the girl had to learn and that she would not finish my hair cut.

She said you can leave so i got up, she charged me for the worse experience I have ever had at any so called salon. I td her so much for customer service and left. I will never go back!!!!

Also, im sure that this review will mean nothing to this company...

I go to the Franklin Great clips have been going there for about 18 years. I had a 45 minute wait but I got there with 15 minutes left it was an hour and a half before I got a haircut after I got there the manager there decided to have a meeting and only left one person to cut hair my time went from 15 minutes to 60 minutes we're planning by your manager I'm going to find a different place to go

I have been to Great Clips #7052 numerous times before for a Shampoo and blow dry. I have never paid $42.00 before. Usually, my cost was no more than $20.00.

That cost is ridiculous and the stylist claims that I had a “Regular Style” (whatever that is) and I had a simple blow dry. This will be my last visit because I feel that I was definitely overcharged whether that was because I am 70 years and/or Black, I don’t know.

Asked my stylist to cut 5 inches off the back and she cut about 8 inches and still left in uneven. Same eith my daughter, asked for 2 inces and trim her curtain bangs and she cut about 4 and left bangs and hair uneven. Had a bad experience before, quit going there, tried it again and regret that decision

While my partner and I were getting our haircuts, he overheard two of the salon employees say that they were lucky they didn't get stuck with me. We were the only two getting haircuts at the time. I only found out about it after my partner and I paid and left the salon.

Great Clips : Littleton, CO Wads & Chatfield. Butchered my hair. When in asking for one inch off of overall length. Stylist said it needed 3 in off if I wanted it to look like the photo that I just showed them. I said no let's start at a half inch and work our way up. I had to actually stop the haircut and say we are done. When I finished they had removed 3 in it looks like a 3-year-old took preschool scissors and chopped the back of my hair. I'm totally convinced that this stylist intentionally cut my hair poorly due to the fact that I wanted at a certain way and they argued with me. I will never set foot in a Great Clips again after being a customer for 20 years.

On January 13, 2023 Friday I walked in to the Great Clips (the Russell ridge location) for a hair cut. Craig was the man that cut my hair. He was very impersonal. He also combed my hair hard and pulled my earing out of my left ear. The earing's were studs.

He said do you have something in your ear? No apology or care at all. I said nothing. He soaked my head with water which is normal - he said. I explained how I wanted it cut. He cut it and then took the blow dryer and blew the hair in my face that was on the cape.

I coughed and he thru up his hands and I explained what he did and he said nothing and rolled his eyes and looked at his colleague. I ask to see the back and he held a mirror behind my head - did not angle it so I could see it.

Why is it I can Never Ever get the same haircut twice even if I ask for the same stylist??????????????????????????????? The sad part is I only get the sides of my hair cut with you guys because I know great Clips if incapable of cutting the top.

On 12/20/22 I went to your location at 8414 Farm Rd. STE. 170 Las Vegas,NV. 89131 to get a haircut. We have gone to this location several times over the years, but will NEVER again !! My hair was a little past my shoulders and I told Carlee I wanted to go back to short hair.

She looked at the info on file for how I've had it cut in the past. WELL, my 1st clue should've been when she just got the clippers and started to shave the back without first cutting the longer part off.

Sunday at about 1:45 I walk into the Ft Worth location of 114 across from TMS. There were at least 2 stylist and one customer getting a cut. No one was in the waiting area. I’m thinking it’s my lucky day.

The one stylist is chit chatting on the phone and eventually comes and ask me, “did you check in online”? I answer no ma’am. She says, “it will be a 92 minute wait, that ok”? I said no, there is no one in here. She says, sorry. Really? Are you kidding me?

I sat in the parking lot for a full 10 minutes looking for another place to get a haircut. During that 10 minutes not a single person walked in. As I pulled away a mother and her apparent son walked in. This is unreal

I checked in online and it said 30 min. so I showed up at my scheduled time and there was only one person working. He asked me if I checked in online and I told him that I did he asked me my name I told him and he said that I would be next.

There were 2 women waiting and he was cutting another women's hair. I waited approximately 10 to 15 min. for him to finish cutting her hair then after he checked that women out he told one of the other women that they were next.

I asked if I was next and he said yes and that another worker was on lunch and they would be back soon. The other employee arrived about 5 min. later and went into the back room and they didn't come out before I left.

The actual worst experience. Not only did the lady ABSOLUTELY butcher my hair, her and another stylist purposefully were making jokes on how I looked "too feminine" for how I wanted my hair styled. And COMPLETELY disregarded how I wanted it done.

She basically just took a shaver and shaved my whole head!! WHEN I DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR THAT!! And on top of that, even made homophobic jokes at me too :) I'm not returning.

I retired from the military in 2015. Since then, I've never gotten used to having my hair touch my ears. Because of this, I request anyone with a balding razor; this, they rarely have. As Great Clips stylists often fail to maintain adequate equipment that would meet the needs of those that come through their doors, I have to take it upon myself to buy a balding razor to trim around the ears and back of my head.

This evening I went in to the Great Clips location at 6322 N Chatham Ave, Kansas City MO, for a quick fade. This took roughly 3 minutes to complete. At the end, my stylist said she was just going to charge me $9 for a neck trim.

I thought that was fare after just a 3 or 4 minute hair cut. The male stylist next to her (possibly the manager) stated the store will not allow that and…

Senior citizen been going to Great Clips ( Belmont Development ) Wimauma Fl 33598. Was told in October 2022 to come back Veterans Day and get a deal on future haircuts which I did. I was asked how many I wanted and I believe I said either 6 or 8.

I assumed they put that information in their computer. Early January I come for my next haircut and I’m asked for my card. Apparently I was supposed to come back the next day to sign up and pay for my future haircuts which no one mentioned.

I told Madison that I wasn’t told I needed to come back. No one helped or even tried to help me. Of course I was charged the full price. I wouldn’t call that customer service and I’m thinking of not returning.

23 I went to get my haircut. I asked for a pixie and specifically told her I didn't want it cut too short. What I got was anything but a pixie and I look like the sides and back were buzzed.

There is a little portion of longer hair on the top. This haircut is unacceptable. I tried to download pictures but they wouldn't download.

Dec 17, 2022 I went to Great Clips in Pickens, SC for the first time. I checked in online. When I arrived I told the lady who came to the desk that I needed someone who was good with long hair.

(She turned out to be the lady who sweeps up the floor). Another young woman had come up and I was handed over to her. I guess she was next in line. My hair was to my waist. I explained I wanted to cut it so I could put it in a ponytail and fit it under wigs.

I had two magazine pictures of how she could fix the front sides. We decided it should be under the shoulders. She was going to layer it which was probably a bad idea. I asked her FOUR times to give me the hair she was cutting off.

Took my son who is growing out his hair for a trim. He left with an old lady pixie bc the stylist didn't like the hair in his eyes. She was told many times that he wanted to put it in a pony tail.

It's ALL above his ears now! This will take a year to grow BK out. He is autistic, but very vocal on wants, that she ignored and did what she wanted!

Hi, I went for a haircut at Great Clip at Moss Grove Blvd, Knoxville, TN on 12/17/2022 (5:00 PM). A hair dresser named "Jennifer" (was not wearing a name badge. Another employee told me her name) did horrible job as she had no clue how to blend hair.

After complaining she ruined it further and said that it is because of the shape of my head and now my head had a roller coaster ride track. She was rude and she did not know how to cut hair.

After the worst job she did, she gave up and handed me to another hair dresser " Bobby" and asked him to somehow fix her terrible art work. Bobby was a very courteous and professional hair dresser with good manners and customer care.

He did an excellent job and tried to his best to fix it. I wonder why you keep such a rude employee who has no skills…

My husband and Son go to the great clips in Scottsbluff NE 69361 Location on Avenue I. We have gone to great clips in every city we have lived in. We are both Retired Army and Air force Veterans. We have always been given a 10% discount for the last ten years at least.

This isn't about the money but about the principle of what the employee did. Not only are we Veterans we are both 100% disabled veterans. We don't ask for a discount at many places but we do at places we frequent.

If the girl knows my husband he usually doesn't even have to tell them. This girl was somewhat newer we never had her. We hadn't been in in may 2 month's. My husband asked for he discount his name is Jordan Shaw for m son Bo Shaw's hair cut.

Received a really bad haircut on October 28th by Jessie. Went back on Oct 30 for a fix which was worse. I filled out a form asking owner for my money back. My hair was way..... shorter than I wanted.

My wife and I went for a hair cut at the New Port Richey location we arrived when they opened at noon. They signed us in said we where 2 & 3 next. We couldn't use the check on app because it doesn't work till ten minutes after they open.

Then a man comes in 15 minutes after us and they take him before us because he was able to use the check on app this is not right. We have been long standing customers for years and this is not the first time this has happened.

We will not be back.

I checked on line at 10:30. The app said 45 minute wait. I ran my errands however the time stayed on 33 minutes until my turn. It is now 12:29 and I still am waiting for haircut. This is ridiculous.

If it was a hour 2 hour wait then the app should have said 2 hour or more wait so I could choose other options. You have wasted half of my day!!!!!

This great clips in San jacinto plaza is the worst. Absolutely unprofessional don’t meet the MINUMUM standards. I set an appointment from home, it says 0 wait minutes. So I drive 20 min away then get there to find them all distracted from there clientele over some tamales that one of the employees uncle had bought over specifically to make sales.

Then I had to wait a good 15 min went outside to make a call came back in and they take another old lady in front of me when I was next. The. I wait another 15 minutes. While they all walk around and clearly make eye contact with me they chose to ignore me.

I felt embarrassed and humiliated so I just left. Worst haircut experience ever.

I visited store #1038 on 12/08/2022. My stylist was Diane. I have been patronizing this Great Clips for probably 6 years. The experience I had was terrible this time. I always get a shampoo and cut. While Diane shampooed me she managed to miss my head and get the front of my shirt wet all over one side.

She did not acknowledge this and I did not say anything thinking she was just having a bad day. When she finished shampooing she said come on. I pointed out that the stylist always puts a conditioner on. She said, begrudgingly she would do that.

The last two times I visited the south county Missouri location they didn’t listen to what I wanted and just did whatever they thought was best when I was very specific. I requested it be fixed and neither person listened, just walked away.

I was polite and didn’t yell. I paid. My hair is completely butchered and I have to wear hats or a wig. I won’t be back, nor will my family.

I don't understand why some hair stylist just think they get to pick out how they want to cut your hair. Took my teenage son and 2 year old to get hair cut. While I hoped with 2 year old the other hairstylist didn't listen to my son and give him the haircut he wanted.

I went to the Great Clips in Tucson at the Tucson Marketplace (1570 E Tucson Marketplace Blvd 85713) and my hair experience was horrible. The women who did my hair did a terrible job! I had asked for a shorter length with long layers, and it came out choppy and uneven.

I should have known she did a terrible job because most salons would blow dry the hair out and style it so clients can see what it looks like finished completely. Instead, she let me leave with wet and damp hair so I wouldn't notice the bad job she did.

I had to go get my hair redone at another salon and luckily, they were able to fix the damage. Frist and last time I go to Great Clips, I'll stick with going to high end salons because even though they are pricey, at least I can leave with a great hairdo.
