Yesterday, 11/10/2022, I went to the Great Clips in Winder, GA. An employee named Diana cut my hair. I told her I wanted my hair trimmed and shaped up, no more than 1/2" taken off all over. It is horrifically terrible. I guess she doesn't know what a 1/2" is!! I have maybe 3" left all over my head. After going home and trying to work with it, I returned to Great Clips and told them I couldn't work with it......didn't know WHAT to do with it. I was given a refund and was told the best thing to do is let it grow a few weeks before trying to do anything else. I agree with that advice.

I just wanted to share this horrible experience with you, because you should be aware of what kind of job this employee does. I know we all make mistakes and we learn from our mistakes. I hope she has learned,…

The store at Westlake in san antonio. I was teated with disrespect. I was almost in the chair when another customer asked for the stylist helping me and was told I had to switch stylist. I know it is first come first served.

I am very dissatisfied and will not go back this location. The store was dirty and under staffed. The stylists were rude

I am honor that Great Clips set aside a day to honor the Veteran with a free haircut but this is the second time I have gone to them and I found out they are not gone to give you a haircut that looks good they only cutting off hair that will keep you from looking bad . I do realize haircut prices have gone up but it should not negate you from giving a decent haircut receiving a haircut from Great Clips seems more mechanical than meaningful we do it beacause its the right thing to do and

it appears they are still looking for a tip for a bad haircut when they know in their heart its not a good haircut I don't know what can be done but I do want you to know if I was spending top dollar I would get a top dollar haircut but a free haircut not so thanks for listening

This is the actual email I sent the girl who managed the store last year. I don't know if she still does.

I'm not sure if you're still at the Milford store, but I wanted to reach out and let you know that this happened to me again yesterday! I've attached a collage for you. I want to state that even after the last time, I continued coming and supporting the business, however, my son had several botched hair cuts that needed to be fixed and we did and moved on, however, this is ridiculous. I got my hair cut at Litchfield illinois today terrible cut and terrible service,!!! I realize I probably get the senior rate only 19$ but no excuse for the way I was treated. None of the staff smiled or introduced themselves.

Maybe because it’s Saturday hung over? I asked for a trim of my current pixie cut.

My son came home crying because the lady that cut his hair hurt him and she said it was his fault and that we could told her so she can refuse to cut his hair I called the manager and she said that she finished urging his hair and what they do when you called to make a complain say the customer had the fault really when his 11 years old so unprofessional never taking none of my kids there.

While getting my hair cut my stylist and another male stylist were discussing how they didn't get tipped for doing an "awesome job" on a client's hair. She went on and on about not getting a tip. I felt very uncomfortable as though I was being forced into leaving a tip.

Did not like the experience. I have been to Great Clips in the past and had a good experience but this left me uncomfortable. the whole interaction was uncomfortable. I just wanted to get out of there fast. I get the $20 charge at checkout and was surprised.

I asked about the site still shows $13 haircuts, she said no we're $20. That was it…

I stopped going to this franchise cause of the absolutly ridiculous rules of waiting in line. I tried again today with my step son and still a crappy design. There was 2 people getting cuts and one person waiting with 3 hair dressers and still was told maybe 50 min wait or more cause of online check in.

Why in the hell do you people have walk ins welcome if this is true. I am literally there to get a cut but have to wait for other people to come in whenever they want? You really have to rethink your bussiness practices.

Obviously you dont want walkins and can mot schedule an appointment so what do you actually want?? People there ready to pay money ate the ones who should be next. Makes no sense to me why you would punish people who are actualky there vesrse people who can come in…

On date of October 17, 2022 at approximately 10:00 AM, I walked into Great Clips located in Miamisburg, Ohio to get a haircut. There were two hair stylists/barbers on the premises serving customers at the time I arrived. I was taken to the counter, asked who I was, gave the information, and was told that there was one customer ahead of me and that my wait would only be a few minutes.

I took a seat to wait while one of the attending barbers finished up her customer. While I was waiting, a young man walked into the shop and took a seat in the waiting area. One of the barbers asked the young man if he had signed in online.

great clips, west side, Springfield, IL. Gal with short blond hair cut my hair on 10/14/22 and one side she held the hair up a lot higher. I have PTSD issues so her real attitude was making me nervous. My service dog Sophia was with me and I should have listened to her and left.

My hair is past my shoulders and had layers from another Great Clips hair stylist. I just needed a trim. This lady cut one side shorter than the other and my hair is flat as a board, no longer the fluffy layers put in by Kelly.

AVOID the West Side Great Clips. My Veteran discount gave me a crappy cut and I have to go get my hair cut again! Kelly wasn't available at her Great Clips and I was on the West side so trusted this person. BIGGEST MISTAKE!!!!

We have been going to great clip at westview for 10 years . The manager Molly there was a nice person and always delivered nice hair cut for my son. Today we went in there and asked for the same hair cut ( which was recorded on the clipboard) but this staff Pasi had a hard time understanding us.

She first took our son ‘s masks off without our consent. When we complaint about it she then asked me to leave the area. After two mins I noticed my son came off of the chair, crying because the staff shaved off all his hair.

I felt the staff deliberately did it to retaliate. My son did tell her to stop cutting this short but the staff forcefully shaved his hair off. She has emotionally damaged my son. We have filed a police report about this incident.

I have tried your various franchises for many years in the twin cities and now my patience and forgiving nature has reached its end. I have tried every way under the sun, showing photographs, and explaining until the cows come home but I ALWAYS and I do mean ALWAYS get the opposite of what I ask for. Why ask the customer if you're not going to even TRY to do what they want anyway?

I did my online check in and the wait time was an hour and a half, so I decided to wait that time at home until I received my text saying I was coming up next in line. I arrive at the store and I’m the first on the list, the cosmetologist working proceeded to let two other families go in front of me, simply because “they have been waiting for hours”…..well so have I, I just didn’t wait in the store and it’s not my fault they didn’t check in online. Stopped in for haircut. Online check in wasn’t not working. Walked in store empty besides one gentleman finishing up. Was informed there was a 2 hour wait. I said no one is here. Again I was told there was a two hour wait.

Checked in online 9/21/22@3:50pm. Arrived with 7 min left on my wait time. See my name on screen listed first with two others waiting in lobby. Asked to have a seat and they will be right with me. Never happens.

3 technicians working on 3 clients. One finished and tech collects and then proceeds to do chores, empty trash etc. tech #2 finishes client, cleans work station and comes to counter and calls the customer on the bottom of the list.

I get up, shake my head, say really and no worker acknowledges me, so I walk out. This was approximately 10 minutes after my estimated time. Questions - what good does the on line check in do if they don’t follow the order of the customers doing so?

- are there no exceptions to ending of work shift when the lobby has three waiting customers? - nobody…

On Thursday, September 15,2022 I I had a haircut at Great Clips on Cotton Lane in Goodyear Arizona. I asked for an inch off the layers and got butchered. My hair is so short that it sticks up all around like a crew cut.

I have been going to Great Clips for years and have never had this happen before but now I will look for a new salon. This person ruined my hair as it will take months to grow in. I would hope to get some reply for this disaster.

It is unacceptable to treat a paying customer like this and ruin their hair for months. I would certainly hope for a response. Thank you.

I had my hair cut today by Marie or Maria at the Ellenton FL location. I have never been so appalled at how she was very direct and unprofessional when speaking to others me. Her tone was condescending and saying, “ I don’t know I never cut your hair before and “How much like your saying this much so do you mean an inch?” just very condescending. My wife was sitting there waiting for her appointment and witnessed and heard how she was speaking to me. I was a second away from getting up and walking out.

I will NEVER let that woman touch my hair again. She doesn’t greet you with a smile and I could not wait to get out of her chair. All I was to bet was a $ sign and not a potential new client. Not too mention, the back of my hair is so uneven that I have to come back tomorrow to get it fixed…

Hi my name is Susanne I am a African American citizen, I went to great clips for wash blow dry hair cut and style. Natalie who works at the Dundalk Maryland great clips who was going to take care of my services she was also African American.

She told me to come back to her station where she could see my hair she saying that I had nappy hair so she then said she would charge me extra for the services to my hair, in front of a whole store of caucasian hairstylists and customers I said OK then she started Comb my hair really rough.

The lady who would be cutting my hair receives 0 Stars.

I had an appointment today @ 11:00; I do not mind waiting to get my hair cut; however, the hairdresser walked to the back of the store and never returned to the front of the store. Another Great Clips person came into the store and she and the hairdresser continued their conversation, discussing towels and it appeared they were checking out the order of them in the cupboard.

Fifteen minutes.

I left @ 11:15.

Both of these women were unprofessional! I will not return to this Great Clips in the future. There were two people waiting after I left.

I would hope that someone will speak with these two women.

There was another hairdresser cutting someone's hair. I saw how she engaged with her customers, and she was GREAT.

Worse customer service ever. Asked for a shampoo and straighten hair , lady used ice cold water dashing my hair, pulling it constantly and poor bed side manor. She specifically asked if I wanted it straight or straight with a bump and I said straight.

Half way threw my hair was still wet and using a flat iron on it, started doing a bump and said the bump looks good. I got tired of her yanking my hair, burin gong my hair and just flat rude.

I made an appointment on line showed up on time and the great clips in Greensburg couldn't find it. Made another appointment with the lady at the counter. Itwastexted. me. Never texted and the canceled my appointment. That mess up cost me over 2 hours with special nurses for my mother who has dementia.

Went to Walmart got my grandsons hair cut. I will never be back.

Great clips Brownwood, Texas. My boys got haircuts on 8/13/22. Honestly these haircuts were awful and the stylist that did the worst one seemed like she just wanted to be done. I could’ve done a better job. They were so uneven.

One was better than the other, but still bad with long pieces sticking up in several places. Went to Great clips in San Angelo on 8/14 and they fixed them. But, I’m out $80 for two boy’s haircuts. This is the second time great clips in brownwood has done a poor job. Won’t be back.

The hair stylist messed my 8year sons hair so bad he was bawling and another employee stepped in to fix it for him. The first employee was extremely rude not only to us but to every person that walked in the door.

The second lady was so very sweet and made him feel so much better. It was a really bad experience.

I walked in to the Cloquet Mn store and was told 1.5 hrs, so I went shopping. I was texted and back within a few min. I was 2nd in line. The older woman (didn’t get her name) was YAPPING (not cutting at the same time) for way too long. The lady next to me commented about it, and I said, “No kidding!” She also added that she doesn’t like that stylist- as she never listens to what she wants. I told her I’ve had good luck with her.

My barely 16 year old son went to Great Clips on 19th in Alta Loma…received the worst haircut ever…it was an uneven bowl cut. OMG and school starts in 2 days. I returned with him to the salon and the stylist who cut his hair was very hostile and angry she was awful.

no notes on file this is a violent women who should not be allowed to have a scissors in her hands I was afraid she was going to purposely hurt my son. At on point my son told her please don’t talk to My mom like that… horrific experience I will never ever return.

I went to the Great Clips in Fultondale AL. The lady that cut my hair was absolutely wonderful. She did a great job on the cut and was veery pleasant. I think something was wrong though because she could not stand well.

She said she had a physical condition and brushed it off. My complaint is about the other person who was working there. This was at around 1245 pm today. I do not know either of their names. There was explicit directions it directions on the haircut. It was relatively basic the same thing I always get every time I go to Great Clips for the last 10 years.. Ts a number 2 filled in Toto a 1/2 inch of the top or 2 bend length.

Took my 15 year old in for a hair cut. The associate told me we are dong a 4. I walked over to make sure what a 4 was because my son and his Dad have the same name and we do not want it short.

The associate cut me off and stated that is what my son wants. I was very upset . I do not care if my minor son wanted a purple Mohawk. It is not up to what my minor son wants.

I did the call ahead app and when I got to the store the stylist was busy cutting hair so I leaned over to see if my name was on the window ( not realizing there is a big screen up on the wall) and she yelled at me very rudely asking me what I’m doing and when I told her she became even more rude to the point I didn’t even want a hair cut there anymore so I left.

Once I got called to be next, we walked to the first chair and there was hair all over the chair from where she didn't clean it from the last hair cut. When I asked her to clean the chair off she remarked back that she had already cleaned the chair.
