I have a new card I'm trying to activate and I just keep getting error messages. I called the customer service number and she told me I needed to send a picture of the error message and I needed to email the technical department and it would take up to two days for them to email me back.

This is my rent that is due. I should be able to access my card. I've been with you guys for a long time and it just seems like it's getting harder and harder to get good service I can't seem to get help I can't seem to get answers and I'm pretty disgusted.

Right now I'm just kind of left dangling out in the open and not be able to pay my rent and if I get charged an extra late charge then I'm going to be wanting you guys to put it back on my card I should be able to access my money. My complex has a $40…

I had booked a hotel room over the weekend with the last of my money and the hotel had refused my business. Well I used Priceline to book the room and they did everything they could to help me get my refund and even went as far to sending greendot authorization that they had canceled my purchase and were not billing me.

Greendot is now telling me they will not release the funds till the 6th of March which is two weeks away and I have no money to get by this is redicolus and very unprofessional. This money should be released immediately and you would think they would look out for their customers but just the opposite instead make us suffer which is pathetic.

I will no longer use them and never will I refer or reccomend them to anyone. I will advise anyone and everyone to stay very far…

On 2/22/20 @ 1:14 pm I spoke with a male Asian representative. I am filling a complaint due to poor communication very rude non corporative and very unprofessional. 49$. But I must of forgot I made this transaction. " Those were his words ".

Because of his unprofessional ways and poor communication skills I will make sure to let everyone know that greendot is a NO GO. Not only that but greendot just lost a good customer. I will file a complaint through BBB.

Refusal to fix problems with a card issued by my tax preparer and green dot declining my card at multiple stores we use every day. When we call and file a complaint with them they say there fixing it and to use card in a hour, use card a hour later and it gets declined again

I have had a horrible experience with green dot and I have no choice but to us them because I am expecting money to be deposited. I filed a dispute about some fraudulent charges and I specially told them I am waiting for my direct deposit so I can’t cancel my card yet.

They canceled it anyways and my he was sent back to sender. My dispute was also denied and they told me I need to send documents to show it wasn’t me and I asked them what documents and they told me to figure that out.

I just need to show proof. I don’t know how I am suppose to show proof of these charges because I did not make these charges. The also took 70 out of my money that was returned back and stated they did not, I asked my school who sent the money if they took the money and they stated they did not.

I receive Social Security once a month to live on. Some how someone hacked my account and drained my account. I contacted Green Dot and they investigated, canceled the card and issued me a new card. After that it was continued to be trying to be hacked on the old card.

My name is Rosie Ann Granado and live on 109 8th Street in Levelland Texas 79336. 00 that was for my light bill Tx ID Social Security card with my foodstamp card a net spend card and my debit card that is connected to my Green Dot Bank account.

But it's ridiculous how y'all just decide that there wasn't error that occurred but I'm filing a lawsuit and suing the bank and the corporate office as long as yall have a roof over yalls head and food thats all y'all care about y'all don't card whatever happens to my kids but just be ready cause y'all will no longer have a job my attorney is filling the documents and

having the judge sign along with the documents to sui the bank and the corporate office.

I had put in a order for my new green dot debit card on January 18th and the company said it will be in the mail box by January 23 an I have not received it yet. So I have been on the phone waiting to speak with a agent for 1 hr an 30 minutes and I still haven’t spoken to anyone yet and as we speak I’m still on hold waiting at 12:07 pm January 28th.

This is my tenth complaint with no results Greendot for the past 6 months has denied me access to my funds they wont send me a new card. There corporate office calls you but still wont resolve the issue how hard is to just send me a card this company is so and thru all of this they still charge me the monthly service fees even though I have not I can't use my account

I've had the green Dot since April 2019 , I have direct deposit on the card never have I been charged a membership fee and then on January 23rd 2020 I noticed that not only was I charged this fee of $7.95 but it put me in a negative balance (mind you it's not even the end of the month). I called their customer service number and the person could barely speak English let alone try to understand what I was questioning rude placed me on hold then said nothing else and hung up.

I purchase a GreenDot card 3 days ago already have been charged $7 and some cents for maintenance when I haven't used the card as of yet I will never use green. My fiance had purchased a greendot card in philly, he had loaded the card numerous times. It's a nice amount of money on there. He was incarcerated shortly after the last reload the card was left in his pocket at the house at the time of incarceration.

This has been about 2yrs he didnt recieve a card with his name on it before the Incarcerated. He wants me to find out how he can get his card with the money that was left on it mailed to me.. he still incarcerated.

I have been trying to speak with someone but cant reach anyone. This is very unprofessional. Can u please respond to me asap. We need the funds that were on his card. They scanned his I'd to load the large amounts of money so u must have his information.

WORST WORST WORST customer service I've ever had the misfortune of trying to deal with. They are unable to identify a problem. Ask for a supervisor, they tell you to wait 24 hours for a call back. Use the online chat like they suggest and all you get is total incompetence and they tell you to wait 24 hours. Call the customer service number and they don't know what to do except to trsnsfer you to bogus numbers that has absolutely nothing to do with why you called. They give you their name when they answer, then deny it was them that transferred you to the wrong department. Every time you have a problem they tell you to uninstall the app and reinstall it.

All this AND they charge you $7.95 monthly service fee. I assumed since they do so much…

I have been dealing with greendor for years and until a couple months ago money been coming off my card from PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox and they cnt tell me wer my money is going I'm loosing 200-300 dollars a month in chargers that I didn't make even cancelled my card twice and the transaction was still made ..

shit make me mad cause the rep can never tell me answers they even say a manager will call BK in 4 hrs noone has called me in 2 wks I'm calling everyday for answers I get hung up on Everytime this is a card I use for my son disability and their taking advantage of their system something has to be done

Worst company ever. I've been trying to get my balance in my VAULT since Oct 2019. It's now January 2020 and still I can't access MY MONEY! They keep saying they called me and left a voicemail. Which I never received.

I transferred money to myself from another greendot card, I do this weekly with my pay check but one of my transfer of 63.24 I never received , I sent pictures showing I never received my money and after more than 2 weeks they say they are not responsible. I work hard for my money I depend on my checks weekly and need my money back

On September 27th, 2019 I purchased a green dot reloadable card at Family Dollar in Morris, MN nd loaded $340 onto it. After 2 days of trying to access my account online I went back to Family Dollar and the manager explained to me that everything went through on their part and that I was to contact green dot.

I have sent emails to green dot customer service and got a response that they will look into it and contact me within 24 hours. I was never contacted and attempts to recontact green dot have been useless. I'm am not a wealthy women.

I am a single mother of a 4yr old little boy and that money was supposed to pay for my car payment. I am now behind on my car payment because of this failed transaction. Horrible service. Horrible card. I was robbed basically.

If I could give 0 stars i would. I had fraudulent charges taken out of mt account, they lost my paperwork, denied my claim. I resubmitted 13 pages only to be told never received yet USPS tracking shows different. Poor customer service.

They don't listen and as of right now I've been on hold 40 min for a situation that should have been corrected. I'm going to the FTC and Better Business Bureau next. After 5 loyal years I am done

I have asked for 2 weeks now if someone could help me figure out the 2 digits I accidentally scrated off of the money pak card I received and I have sent them proof twice and noone will help figure out the numbers I scrated off or at least send me a whole new card it was a card for 35 dollars you can see where I scratched to hard and

I would like to file a complaint with you, on Green Dot. I have a secured account with you which i dont think ive used in almost 1 year. I stopped using it because you denied every purchase i tried to make.

In the beginning the card worked perfectly, but for some reason it started to get declined every time. I have tried to resolve this but you have virtually no way to get in contact with you. My card and social is not recognized by your automated service.

I was able to leave a message which i received an email reply from which was obviously outsourced and hasnt led to anything. At this point i would like for you to close my account and send me my original deposit.

I have been a victim of identy theft and I notified greendot to report any unauthorized charges as the police advised me to when I filed theft r3port. And yet I'm still reaching out to greendot about the unauthrizd charges but keep getting the runaround. I just St want my money back so I can close this account

Representatives that answers the phone is no help. They talk over you like they are reading from a script not giving you the opportunity to tell them the problem. I talk to three different representatives and they all was the same way.

I'm guessing this is how they is trained. I ask to speak with a supervisor but didn't get one. I was told they would call me back in 4 hours. Green Dot customer service stinks and is very horrible. I advice no one to get there money direct deposit here cause if anything go wrong they can't help you.

Damn shame how sorry this bank and the employees that work for them is.

Greendot bank is ridiculous! I was charged over 700 from Airbnb and I never made any transactions with them . My card was lost and someone made an online purchase with airbn ! I filed a dispute with greendot bank on December 13th they told me That in 10 business days if it is not resolved that they were going to credit my account and right before the 10th day they denied my dispute !!!

Saying that it was accurate and that payment was made online with out a pin !!! Anyone could do that ! Now I lost those 776 dollars because greendot couldn’t help me out after I had already made the claim I waited so much for nothing and now I lost that money .

I will no longer bank with greendot I am done . I should of never opened an account With then if I knew this was going to happen . Customer service…

I bought a greendot visa for a gift. $200. To activate the card I had to open an account, provide my ssn. When I called to speak to someone I got a non english speaking latino who disconnected me. On my second try I got a non english speaking latino who refused to connect me to a supervisor.

Fucking waste of 2 phone calls. Greendot is a scam. They stole my ssn thru coercion. I tried returning the card but was unable to at point of sale. I will pursue this in court.
