30 cents that I'm short because of the fee that I was told wouldn't be charged until the next day I will never again in my life ever used this company again it's a rip-off in that is a scam in a straight lie to tell somebody that they won't charge the fee until their monthly 23rd of March and after my first purchase they literally charge the fee when I was told 10 minutes prior that they wouldn't it till the next day thank God I am not going to put any of my money on here now my taxes nothing do not buy it is a rip-off

I made a purchase online and immediately realized it was a scam. So I called greendot not even 5 mins after making the purchase. I was assured by a customer service representative that since I called before it posted that there would be a reversal of funds but it had to post before it would happen.

She assured me it would happen right away and the merchant wouldn't be able to keep my funds. Then the next day came. The money was taken out by the merchant but nothing was reversed.

First I called and was on hold for over 2 hours. Only to be told that since it already posted I have to file a dispute. My issue... I called way before it posted and was told what I just mentioned.

I was able to log in on google website. I downloaded app. I couldn't log in. I changed password. I put in my card # & ss#. It still wouldn't work. I tried several times. I called the help #.

The guy seemed like her didn't know anything & he told me they couldn't help me. He did transfer me but to the wrong dept. They told me to keep trying to log in which I already did. That's not acceptable.

No one should have to do that. I finally got her to transfer me. So she died & they connection was so bad I finally hung up. All 3 people wouldn't listen. They kept interrupting. This is so unprofessional & very frustrating.

I don't trust this company & won't use it again.

I'm contacting you because I have a green dot unlimited card and, about 4 days ago they lock my account, because I was getting a deposit for loan, now all my stimulus money was on that card and I have know way of taking care of my family now. I have been talking to this company for the last 4 days about unlocking my cardvi also done send in the so call document they ask for and they still hasn't unlock it.

They keep spinning me in different directions about my account I really need someone to help me cause I have kids that need things like food, clothes, roof over there head etc . gov website and it says my refund was sent March 10th to my green dot bank account. I waited to March 15th and still no refund on my card. I also did check my account and routing numbers and all was correct.

Five months of trying to get my money back after a reload at Walmart and a instant swipe reversal back in Nov2020 and have not been able to get issue of my account being froze by them and cant access my account online it kicks me off and logs me out.

That account is where I have my direct payments from IRS. 5 hrs I got to briefly talk to representative and he Gary hung up on me. I remained on the line and he came back and I asked for managment.

he said they having technical difficulties I tried chatting online and got a call back and again hung up on directly after asking for my phone number. I CANT REACH ANYBODY AND THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I WANT MY MONEY BACK ACCOUNT CLOSED (BOTH OF THEM) I been a customer for 14 years!!!

Green dot card corp will not update my address or send me a new card. They will give me a case and tell me called back in 3 days to just me that that have be close & they have to give me another card but went I called after that 3 still the same thing. This have be going since Jan 15.

I bought 4 green dot visa prepaid debit cards, they were for my kids as a gift. Went tonuse them and the kids said they wouldn't work. I then realize that I have to activate them. So okay no big deal I think.

So go to activate them and the site says can't validate at this time. Call customer service and try and activate them that way. Enter the card numbers and it's says they are not valid. Try and talk to a person and the wait is 5 hours long.

Use the site to try and live chat with a person and you type your message and then as soon as you send the message it says chat has ended. My wife was also trying and running in to the same exact issues.

It's almost like they hope that it's so difficult that you'll just give and say oh well guess I'm out the money. As of right now I'm still…

Now I’ve been a loyal customer for a while with green Dot. On February 26th I reported my card lost. The very next week they tell me it will be printed and received on March 10th which is almost 2 weeks.

March 10th arrives but where is my card? So I contacted them and ask. They said due to the delay during COVID-19 it won’t be here til tomorrow. Tomorrow comes. Where is my card. Contact them again. They tell me it won’t be here til Friday the 12th.

So basically you lied to me. Friday gets here. No card. Then tells me check tomorrow. I’ve been given the run around 3 times. I’m behind on my bills including my rent. My landlord is trying to put me and my 2 daughters out on the street where no where to go.

This company allowed thousands of dollars to be taken off my card. When I get out the hospital and call the dispute department I could never get them on the phone. Poor customer service also I never recieved a replacement card.

All my funds go to this card. I never recieved a phone call nor spoken to anyone from this company. I am filing a lawsuit against greendot . Poor service.

My account ending in 1463 was stolen from 3 times which was my Social Security and my VA pension. This is supposed to be in disputes but have been hung up on and put on hold for over an hour.

Any and all email sites do not respond. I have sent proof of ID and address. Im to the point I need my money back. I have also reached out to my Congress office and going to file with AIG and FDIC.

I have a prepaid Turbo Tax card through Green Dot and this has been the worst banking experience I have ever had. I had a deposit to my account and then my account was immediately blocked for review. I had to call customer service over 10 times in a span of 5 days just to receive any type of information on my account.

Every time I call they would say it was being reviewed and the hold will come off the nest day , and it never did!!! I was then told to send in a picture of my ID to verify my identity, I have sent this over 4 times and my account is still blocked.

I feel like I was robbed except by a major corporation. There are thousands of stories and people having the same issue with this bank and it is ridiculous. They have my funds and wont allow me to access MY money and cant tell me…

I disputed charges on my green dot card for merchandise that I did not receive. I first tried reaching out to Wish and was unsuccessful. Green dot informed me that they are not responsible for the items not received. The item was purchased with my funds, so in that aspect they are responsible.

Reloaded my card at a seven 11 and checked if the money was on it, nope, ok maybe I should wait until tomorrow? Nope! Had to call the customer service line and they said they would put the money on it, it's been a whole day and my money still isn't on the card.

The Phone Operators are terrible in answering questions. They do not understand English when asking them questions, their inability to understand English makes them hard to understand the question asked except for their scripted response. The phone operators also get an attitude because you cant understand their language.

Also the information on the app should match the screen they pull up in the office. Greendot Customer Service use to be good but over the past couple of years, Greendots customer service has gotten terrible, I spent 30 minutes trying to get them to understand what I was calling for.

Long time green dot customer. Account was closed in May. No explanation was explained to me finally got a call from someone still didnt explain just assured me the check was coming. June 5th refund request was complete check was supposed to be mailed out and received by june 19th was told the 18th at first.

Called back on the 19th and 20th of june to find out it was a problem on Green Dots system and it got sent out on the 16th of June in which I received No notification of this system problem reported to me as well as No other explanation was provided as to when I will honestly receive my funds. I was being rushed off the phone, talked over, and almost forced to accept the fact that my Bill's will be affected due to this tragic stressful mix up.

I am a long-time member of GreenDot Banking. I have been experiencing difficulties with obtaining a functioning card and receiving the service I should get as a customer should. I need to resolve this matter. It first started when I lost my card on April 14 and requested for a replacement card on 14 April 2020.

I had to have two cards sent to me because the first one was sent to my physical address (because I was told that Green Dot doesn’t send to PO box) but where I live the Post Office doesn’t deliver to physical addresses and the card got lost. Then, I was told that I should receive the card 7 to 10 business days.

They have 3 different account numbers for me, can't link my card THEY SENT TO ME, lost my tax refund money as no way to get it, zero customer service - can't reach them on line, can't reach them by phone, no chat function. ZERO way to get my money out of this fraudulent company.

Will not answer phone. Only dead air and finally, if stay on line long enough, a recording saying busy. Email to support get autoresponder saying they will reply in 2 working days. They have not. I threatened to contact banking authorities and got a email asking me for details of my Customer Service support.

The ATM card they emailed a notice of being sent 16 days ago has never arrived. Their website shows no information on how to get money out or back to yourself. You can send money into your Green Dot Bank account from another institution back it is only one way IN and not out.

I'm not allowed to fix an issue with my account to get access to my own money, they have zero options to speak with a live agent and I'm not even allowed to do anything to resolve the issue myself. I cant even login to the app, Abd every possible option just runs me around in circles until inevitably hittingba dead end outcome.

I'm left with no option to get my money back from this useless, faceless company, that I literally need NOW and I'm actually ready to just take this to court if needbe. I dont have time for this, and this is a substantial amount of money that's just 100% out of my own reach.

This is blatant fraud/theft as far as I am concerned. Dont know what else to do, they have legitimately stolen my money and wont give it back.

I activated my card and deposited my unemployment on it. I went to set up a pin number on the mobile app and it says that my cart isn't activate yet and I couldn't set a pin number. I went to activate it again the website says congratulations your card is already active and ready to use. Yeah right still nothing.

Called the automated service it said my card had a security hold on it to go online and fix it. There's no option for that. Called customer service was on hold for an hour and twenty mins finally got a live person and he said he couldn't hear me then hung up.

I got my last check from my employer before I resigned from my employment to become a fulltime student. 12/20/19 . My last check was deposited on 12/26/19.. oo dollars at the atm at a PNC atm at a Turkeyhill on broad street..

I've called over and over again. Still no result! I still dont have my money 2 months later.. and everytime I call they make up fake numbers that the next representative doesnt recognize. This is starting to be a problem and I'm ready to simply call a attorney!
