I bought a ticket for a trip from NYC to Philadelphia, PA scheduled to leave from the Port Authority Terminal at 11 am on Thursday, July 15th, 2021. At about 10:55 am there was an announcement over the loudspeaker that the bus will leave when the driver shows up.
We finally left at 11:50 am. During that time there were no announcements over the loudspeaker and when passengers attempted to get some information from the person in the booth, every time there was a different story: the driver isn't there, they are checking the bus, the driver is discussing her schedule with management, there's a computer problem, etc.
Greyhound personnel was totally unconcerned with the situation and quite disrespectful towards the passengers.
Finally, some woman showed up and apologized halfheartedly.…
