I bought a ticket and needed to cancel. I called the company about 15 minutes after I purchased my ticket and was told I would not get a refund if I cancelled. What kind of crap is this coming running?

I am very disappointed with this. On top of that the fare was $31 to go to LA. What a load of crock.

I booked a round trip on greyhound from Wichita, KS to Kansas City, MO & back. The sole purpose of this trip was to attend my grandson's funeral. For both legs of my trip, I was at the bus terminal, in the middle of the night, waiting for the bus to arrive when greyhound cancelled my reservation.

For the first leg of the trip, that cancelation caused me to have to scramble at 3am to try to figure out how to get to the funeral on time. Luckily, a friend's father was available to make the 3 1/2 hour trip at the last possible second.

We arrived at the funeral just minutes before it started. For the ride home, I was again at the bus terminal waiting for the bus to arrive very late at night when greyhound cancelled my reservation. It was 11pm... Luckily I had received my disability check…

Hello,

I purchased a return tickets for my son from NY to Bethesda and I had to rebook a couple of times, because of changes in circumstances. In both times I got vouchers as below:

My son ended up traveling one way, and told me he got bus sick and he can't use the bus again. So now I am left with 2 vouchers that I will be never able to use. I called the Greyhound representatives and they told me they can't refund me the vouchers, and that I should write a complain. I am a single mother with no support and I need my money back. If I don't hear back from you, or if you will not resolve this situation, I will file a complain to the better business bureau.

I purchased a rd trip ticket from Medford Oregon to Dayton Ohio on March 1st for a departure date of April 15th with a return date of April 25th . Booking number 3068074522. The bus picked me up at the scheduled time then broke down 45 min later causing me to miss my scheduled bus in Portland.

I contacted customer service and got it straightened out with new ticket and schedule. My complaint is that when greyhound rescheduled me they are putting me in Dayton a day later then I originally planned. I am going to see family and had it planned and paid for 7 days now I'm only getting six days with my family.

I paid over 500 dollars for these tickets. I've purchased lots of tickets in the pass and will probably be purchasing more in the future.

Security guard by the name of Jake in Amarillo Texas was being very aggressive and racial to a black cashier. I asked him would he not please disrespect her he then stayed I'm a white supremacists. That is very dangerous for the young cashier to be over nights with the security guard by herself.

On Friday, April, 07, 2023 we traveled from NY to Springfield . The trip was excellent.

On Wednesday, April, 12, 2023 we returned to New York from Springfield. The trip was very poor.

Following are our Complaints: 1.We asked some question to the driver and he answered but your body language was not appropriate. 2. The shock absorbers of the bus are damaged and malfunctions creating discomfort in our bodies. 3. Many stopped (6-7) times during travel in comparison with the first trip (3times). 4. The driver accelerated and braked very hard. This situation made the passengers move to the front and back creating discomfort in our bodies too.

my father in law used grey hound bus to get home from mexico to winston salem nc. when he got to winston salem the bus driver passed winston salem failing to stop where he needed to get off. when he asked the bus driver to let him know what happened she was rude and hateful to him.

she just kept telling him to sit down, sit down. he asked her to let him know where she would be stopping next to get an idea of where he was going. she refused to talk to him, she just kept saying sit down sit down.

so we ended up picking him up an hr and a half away in raleigh nc. why did this happen. why did she ignore him and just tell him to sit when he had legit questions. i just dont understand.

My some had a booking for april12 @610 pm. He missed the bus by going to the key west greyhound location. I called the customer service and the rep was going to exchange the ticket out for a bus at 930 but the call dropped.

I got a new rep on the phone and he proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do and I need to buy a new ticket. When the previous rep was going to get him a new one for the 13th April at 930 am.

I requested a supervisor and they kept me on hold for 40 plus mins and then hung up on me. I am pissed because the other rep was going to honor it and when the call dropped I spoke to John then rex 3607956 who refused to assist or honor this is the worst customer by far and the worst company ever to do business with.

I called the 225-383-3811 number which I was given. I explained to the representative Below that I was trying to locate a passenger my father who is 78 years old and was in pain. He was no longer answering his phone.

I explained I wanted to get in touch with someone that maybe able to assist me. He asked for ticket information I advised he didn't book ahead of time but purchased a ticket at the bus station. I gave name and destination which was Baton Rouge LA.

He was not able to pull up anything which I advised he bought ticket in person. I need to get I. Contact with someone to be sure he was okay. He stated that location was closed which is why I got routed to him.

Me & My mom had to go pick up my sister from a really bad situation in Arkansa. My sister some how ended up getting a ride to Memphis Tennessee where we sent her $130 dollars to go from Memphis Tennessee greyhound bus station to the Houston downtown bus station.

Also not to mention her ticket only had one lay over and her bus was supposed to leave at 2:45 am from the bus stop and arrive in Houston at 4:45. The black lady who was driving her bus was very rude couldn’t even tell her when the next bus was coming.

You know why she couldn’t tell her the next bus was coming? Because she kept going around in circles not knowing where to go which made my sister and other people late for their bus that was supposed to leave around 2:00pm from Texarkana greyhound bus station.

I Travel frequently with greyhound and have experienced the same issue every time with this driver. No more than 30 minutes after departure he pulls off and says someone is smoking something he don't know what but suggested it was a synthetic drug.

No one was smoking anything! He stopped 2 unscheduled stops on side of road claiming someone was smoking something. He approached a w/m customer made him get out his seat and attempted to search him until customer stated he would search driver and they would search each other driver backed off saying this is my bus your not searching me.

At Unadilla stop driver approached me and accused me of smoking claiming it was coming from my seat 7c when I had a guy in 7d beside me he never approached. Neither of us were smoking and neither was anyone…

On 3-30-23 leaving from Minneapolis hawthorn bus station coming into chicago the highway was in a rush hour so the bus driver come off of damen and hit a parked black suv truck rather hard that it moved the truck a little father on the side walk . Booking number 306-751-5943. I rode the Greyhound bus for the first time from Chicago to Little Rock. I was put in the last seat of the bus in the rear of the bus. I had to stand the whole time because there was a drug addict there sprawled out on two seats.

Hereby we would like to set a complaint for our journey with you.

Originally we have booked our tickets for the following trip;

New York to Boston 20:05pm

This trip got cancelled as also all the other trips further that night.

Not only did we pay our transport to the station 60$ - we also had no chance of accomodation at that time and had to book a Hotel Room for one night.

This was very stressful and traumatizing as we are not locals and were visiting New York from Europe.

Because we weren't locals we had to search for a hotel room which was the most comfortable and offered the friendliest pricing.

Our hotel room cost us $215 - an amount which totally wasn't calculated in our budget ofcourse.

I had been ill and now I'm better and can make this complaint. I purchased a Greyhound ticket in Fresno, California for a funeral I was going to in Oklahoma City a week earlier thank God. My bus was scheduled to depart on the 18th of January at 6:30pm from the Fresno Greyhound station and the bus ended up being 4 hours late due to the bus breaking down in Sacramento and the driver couldn't get a replacement bus for he and his passengers.

So the replacement bus driver that relieved him in Fresno had to haul ass to Los Angeles to get some of us to our transfer buses that were in Los Angeles at the main Greyhound terminal. Thank God a Greyhound bus driver who was an older Hispanic gentleman that was very short, around '5 4" in height, heavyset and probably weighed over 300lbs waited 2 hours…

My 415am bus was canceled I was notified about it until 8 am I stood in line for a bus that was never comeing for hours . I’m washing dc the man running the greyhound lines there was completely not nice and had no customer service experience with helping anyone .

It was my first time traveling with you all and I am very disappointed. I had to go to the Amtrak down stairs and get a train to jacksonvill North Carolina and arrived here late because of the situation. And pay for that train .

We bought 2 tickets from Tulsa Oklahoma to Springfield Missouri and the bus never showed up. And the bus station was closed. And when we called to find out about where the bus was we were told that it already left the Tulsa station.

But it never showed up here and they said that they wouldn't renew our bus ticket that we had to buy new tickets. And we don't have the money to buy any more tickets. And we are trying to get home.

The isn't right or fair to us. We are being ripped off by your company.

I start out in Pittsburgh under booking number 3066741100 and when were reloading in. Cincinnati I was threatened by another passenger for standing by him while another passenger was taking her seat. I removed myself from the bus and was informed that I would have to buy another ticket. Which I did.

My new booking number is 3066906798. I was never asked why I chose to leave that bus only that I would have to buy another ticket. I would greatly appreciate it if I could talk to a human being. Thanks.

Greyhound doesn’t even deserve one star. The customer service is absolutely horrendous when you’re trying to get information about your lost daughter. Ithey will literally put you on hold or mute you. My daughter will be on the bus for six days when it’s only a two day trip, because the incompetence of the Greyhound bus drivers not scanning her ticket.

She got on the wrong bus and they allowed it ! sent her to the wrong side of the United States and now I had to buy her another ticket to get back to where she was going because they canceled her trip because she got on the wrong bus, customer service will not do anything .

Was told when I bought my ticket that because I am going to have back surgery and unable to sit up sticky on the seat that if the bus was not full I could use both seats. After my transfere, after sitting onThe side of the road for 8 hours for another bus, the driver forcing me to sit in the assigned seat even tho the bus is less than half full.

Even after explains to the driver what I was told she went on this power trip if I didn’t move I would be removed from the bus. So greyhound needs to get the power hungry drivers out of there. So now that I have had to reschedule my preop dr visit because of the 9 hours on the side of the road the drive forcing me to sit here in pain just so

Their jobs consist of dealing with the public. If that's an issue, maybe they need to consider another line of employment. We pay their salaries!

I bought two refundable tickets from Richmond VA to St Augustine. It cost me about 150 dollars per ticket. Then about a month and a half before the trip greyhound cancelled both of them. I contacted them for a cash refund, as the ticket told me I could.

I was told that I could only get a voucher for the tickets because they had stopped the refundable ticket service, even though I payed for a REFUNDABLE ticket BEFORE they discontinued it. I asked why I couldn't get my refund because I bought the tickets ahead of time and instead of responding, a week and some change later I got an email telling me that they had issued a voucher and I had a year to use it.

On 3/12/23 I paid for a one way ticket of $168.? and some change for my daughter to travel from Miami to Birmingham I got sick on 3/14/23 unexpectedly there was no bus driver in Montgomery Alabama where she was stuck for several hours before finally reaching her home in Alabama where there is no local bus stop nearest is in Birmingham Al.

It provided me a link for a refund and when I went to the link that was provided in the text message, it only provided information as if i was cancelling this ride on my own, which was not the case. i followed on through with the information and thought i was done.

i seen that on Sunday, it sent me another link about the return trip as if i did not complete the cancellation of the ticket. Once you did not provide the ride to Chicago, you forfeited the contract of getting me there.

I no longer needed Greyhound services. You did not get me there and you cancelled on me. 93 owe to me.…

My travel to Memphis was canceled by the operator and I had to wait 20 hours at the bus stop and no one was able to help me not here at the station or customer service.

After my wait I was hung on by customer service 5x and rude service.

I want a full refund for my experience.
